Some of you who are reading this will already judge me as being anti-American, when in fact, nothing could be further from the truth. It’s a historical fact that Nixon and Clinton lied, period. There’s no way out that. With Bush, we don’t know whether he was misled with bad INTEL or whether he knew that Saddam didn’t have WMD’s. Now we come to the latest president and what do we see? We see that the birth certificate that has long been the subject of endless debate may, in fact be a blatant forgery. So if this birth certificate turns out to be a forgery, then our media should be on this like white on rice. Of course they aren’t and that makes me wonder whose side they are on to begin with. Our media is supposed to be a watchdog and it would appear by their laissez-faire attitude that they are far from fulfilling this role.
I’m bringing this up because if this is a forgery, then Obama and those who are responsible for the birth cert. are liars. If they lied about something as basic as a birth cert. then how can we believe anything else that they tell us and that brings us to the Bin Laden, “assassination.”
1. 3000 people were killed on 911 and many were not afforded a proper burial, yet, somehow we bury Bin Laden at sea so as not to offend the Moslem world, and adhere to Islamic burial laws? Then we find out that only if a Moslem dies at sea would you bury him at sea. Something stinks here….
2. We are told that the pictures will be released, then we’re told that they won’t be released, because our president doesn’t want to spike the football??!! What kind of bull-tickie is that?
3. We are told that a fire fight ensued for 45 minutes…. then we are told that there was no fire-fight…. which is it?
4. We are told that the discrepancies are because of “the fog of war,” and yet Obama and his cabinet were supposed to watch the entire operation live…. which is it?
5. Senators who were shown pictures of Bin Laden’s death went on the record saying that he was dead, that they had seen the picture, only to retract their statements later when it was discovered that the pictures were fake. Did any of these guys bother to do their homework and vet the pictures?
6. Now we are told that there is missing time in the video… how convenient!
7. We were informed that one helicopter had crashed, now the story has been changed that no helicopter crashed.
You see what I mean? We don’t know what to believe do we? While all of this hub-bub was going on, the debt ceiling is about to be raised, the dollar continues to slide, the Mississippi river is at a 500 year flood stage, The Third Intifada is scheduled next Friday, May 13, Japan’s nuclear reactors are still unstable, and on and on it goes.
In closing today’s post: I can make a case that if the birth cert. turns out to be forged than how can we believe anything else “they” tell us? When lying is the norm, and the truth is deliberately obfuscated and twisted, all credibility goes out the window. Nixon lied, Clinton lied and these men held the highest office in the land. Wake up people, why should we believe what they are force feeding us now. To sit back and accept the status quo is to relinquish our constitutional rights to hold this administration, and our elected officials, accountable.
