“This is a surprise of sort after 23 years of excavations at the site.”
He added: “Perhaps, the legends of giants among the Philistines, and in particular from Gath – Goliath and others – might have arisen, among other reasons, from seeing the impressive monumental remains of the city in the centuries after its destruction.”
The building blocks themselves are also bigger, measuring up to two metres (6.5ft) in the ‘Goliath’ layer and only half a metre (1.6ft) in later layers.

Most of us know and are very familiar with the story of David and Goliath. David slew the Philistine GIANT Goliath. According to some Goliath really wasn’t that big, perhaps only 6.5 feet in height. Others insist that Goliath was NOT a Nephilim giant and in fact there were no Nephilim at all after the flood!
In my opinion Goliath reflects the ongoing SEED WAR that we first hear about in the Genesis 3:15 account. He is the offspring of the serpent. He is, in my opinion, a Nephilim and I would put him at well over nine feet.
This recent archaeological find in the ancient city of Gath is mind-blowing. Here’s why. The blocks of the older city are bigger and measure up to 6 1/2 feet in length. Compare this with the newer blocks which are essentially head-size stones about 1 1/2 feet.
So how and why did these ancient builders use these larger stones? They used them because they were capable of moving them. It wasn’t hard and I would add that they had giants to do it!
In our best selling book, On the Trail of the Nephilim, we combined Volumes 1 & 2 as well as our DNA evidence on the Paracas Elongated Skulls.
Folks, giants once roamed the land right here in the United States and our new film series—in which there are now three installments—delve into this. Why am I so obsessed with this you may ask? Because it points back to the validity of the Biblical Prophetic Narrative!
That’s why I’m on the Trail!
