“Difficult Times Will Come”
3 But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. 2 For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, 4 treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; Avoid such men as these.
A few days ago I was on one of the many freeways in Los Angeles, specifically the dreaded and feared #101. A woman driving a van with a Bernie Sanders Sticker on it cut in front of me. I had to hit the brakes. I threw up my hands gesturing a “hey what gives.” Immediately without hesitation, the one finger salute was raised!
This is a microcosm of the world in which we live.
Every year on Black Friday shoppers claw and fight over a $20 toaster or some other trinket. People are left on the floor as the stampede of wild-eyed consumers rushes over them.
Older people have become pray to the “knock-out” game where some punk kid cold-cocks the unfortunate person seeing if they can knock him or her out with one punch.
Hooligans take over trains.
Parents fight each other at sports events.
Paid protestors engage in what can only be called anarchy.
Evil is called good and good is called evil.
The rights of a 6-year-old girl is trumped by a boy, who thinking he’s a girl, wants to use her bathroom.
I’ve stated this before but if these are not the signs of the last days, I’ll shave my head an become a Buddhist! (Photo-shop of the Zulli-Lama thanks to Richard Shaw!)
The question I have for Jesus is this. Why does He wait? How bad do things have to get before He’ll intervene? How long will the madness that surrounds us continue before He acts. Before He mounts His White Horse and defeats the enemy.
As Gary Stearman stated at the Prophecy Watchers conference last year—you’ll want to sign up for that if you haven’t already!—Just a little while longer…
Even so Maranatha!
