Sunday Go To Meeting Bun – Two Kingdoms

Sunday Bun

L. A. Marzulli

I have come to give you life and have it  more abundantly.

The Kingdom of Heaven -Yeshua/Jesus

The Enemy Comes to rob, kill and destroy.

The Kingdom of the Fallen One.

Most of us know who the Prince of this world is.  He comes to rob, kill and destroy.  All one need do is look at the daily 12 hour news cycle to confirm who is ruling the planet at the moment.  The Kingdom of Yeshua has not yet fully manifested yet, however for those of us who are born from above and filled with the spirit of the living God, we can experience life more abundantly.  Please don’t confuse this with the prosperity gospel that some folks on Christian TV espouse, as that’s not what I’m talking about.

Most people live without peace in their lives and they attempt to find it through other means like drugs, alcohol, video games, endless activities and acquiring of more and more possessions.  As my first mentor Wayne Kendall used to say, human beings are garbage dumps.  In other words what do we do with the bad things that have happened to us through our lives, the harsh words spoken over us, our own anger, bitterness, cruelty, lust, disappointments and on and on it goes.

When we come to Yeshua, who is called The Prince of Peace, we find ourselves with peace for our weary souls  This happens supernaturally and as the Bible tells us, we can have peace that passes understanding.  Perhaps this is one of the best kept secrets of being a Christian.

One of my favorite saying is this: Be still and know that I Am God.

Sitting still before Him when we are troubled or in the midst of some trial is the key to finding peace.  Taking our requests to Him through our prayers can free us and we can have peace like a river.

The Kingdom of the Fallen One is one of fear and death.  He hates us and wants to do to us what he did to Yeshua on Calvary, so many years ago.  He comes to rob us from our destiny,  to kill every opportunity that comes our way and kill it before it’s birthed, and destroy our lives.  He can accomplish this in a variety of ways and he is a master of it.

The good news for us is that we have a choice of which kingdom we can belong to.  The kingdom of Yeshua is one of peace and eternal life and forgiveness of all of the nasty things we humans do.  The kingdom of darkness is just that, a life of darkness.

In closing todays Bun: He stands at the door of our hearts and knocks.  He is the Prince of Peace, the Rightful King and I believe He is returning soon.  If you think you know Him but you don’t know him, then, you don’t know Him.  Are you troubled and burdened down with some of what life can throw at you?  Are you addicted  to drugs, alcohol, pornography?  Are you wallowing in bitterness or self-pity?  He can set you free and bring peace into your life.  He can turn things around and give you life more abundantly.  Ask Him in to your life and He will change it.  Become born from above and Be Still and know that He is God.
