Enter the Strong Man?

These two posts, below the headline in red, were written several years ago.  As many of you who follow this blog know, I have been predicting the fall of the Malaki government and the rise of the Strongman.  The question I would pose is this…. Is this the time when we will see Iraq embrace the Strongman, who I believe may be the King of Jordan?  Iraq seems to be a tipping point….

Iraq crisis: Baghdad prepares for the worst as Islamist militants vow to capture the city

Dozens die as 14 bombs explode across Baghdad

BAGHDAD — A wave of bombings ripped across Baghdad on Thursday morning, killing at least 60 people and injuring more than 150 in the worst violence Iraq has seen for months.

Dozens die as 14 bombs explode across Baghdad – World news – Mideast/N. Africa – Conflict in Iraq – msnbc.com

The beginning of what I believe may be the third leg of the Luciferian Dialectic, has begun as this wave of violence that has claimed the lives of more than 150 people is a harbinger of the sectarian violence – think Shia against Sunni Moslem – that will shatter the fragile peace in Iraq.  I have been harping on this for months now and as the headline plainly states above, 14 bombs were exploded in Baghdad.  So much for tourism there.  You may also recall that only a few weeks ago I posted a picture of Iraqi’s burning American and Israeli flags.  Ron Paul is correct when he states that many people in the Middle East hate us as we have invaded their country. According to Judge Andrew Napolitano, the United States has 900 military bases world-wide.  That is what I would consider an hegemony.  Can you imagine what we would hear if Russia had those bases instead of us?

While we are being told that our troops are out of Iraq, Dr. Stan Monteith of Radio Liberty assured his listeners, on his show that I was a guest on last night and will return at 3 pm today,  that there are still 17,000 US troops stationed in Iraq.  I also added that according to some INTEL sources some of those troops have been moved to the Syrian/Jordanian border.  The Malaki government is enervated, the police impotent, the Iraqi people war-weary and with 14 bombs exploding in the capital it is graphic evidence that Iraq is a quagmire.  This calls for the Strongman.

I have talked about the Coming of the Strongman for years and how it will play into Biblical end-times prophecy.  The short of it is this.  Iraq will embrace a man who can bring law and order and a semblance of stability to that country.  This man will be heralded as the greatest peace-maker in the history of the world.  Here’s the post that I wrote several weeks ago that details what I believe is the Coming of the Strongman….

12/15/2011 (I will discuss this at length with Dr. Stan today @ 3pm (PST)

Today marks the official end of the Iraq war and the withdrawal of our troops.   What should be asked, is why now with the entire region in the throes of the Arab Spring?  Why now when the area is more unstable than ever?  Why now, when the sectarian violence continues to plague the country?  Why now with Iran licking its chops and looking toward its weakened neighbor?  Why now, with all Arab nations eyeing Israel and Egyptians In Tahrir square chanting, to Jerusalem we go Martyrs in the millions!

We might never know the official body count of Iraqi dead, but we lost American blood and treasure in what I believe was a war that never should have been fought in the first place.  I understand all to well, that Saddam, and his crazy sons were madmen and the world is better off without them.  But I posit the question, what have we gained by spending billions of tax payers dollars?   What have we accomplished over there?

I have posted before that I believe we are in the midst of  Luciferain Dialectic.  The conflict is 911, the counter-conflict is the Afghan war followed by our Iraqi invasion.  Now we are about to see the closing of the third leg of the dialectic,  that of synthesis.  In my opinion we should keep an eye on the Hashemite King of Jordan.  As I posted earlier this week, allegedly our troops are based along the Jordanian/Syrian border.  Why now?

The Malaki government is enervated at best and when US forces leave, watch the escalation of violence as the feud between Shia and Sunni Moslem explodes.  With Iran pressing the eastern border and the independent Kurds in the North, Iraq will implode.   Most of the Arab nations along with HAMAS, Hezbollah and Syria, are calling for a war against Israel, and at some point they will pull the trigger.

In Closing todays post:  The stage is now set in Iraq for the entrance of the STRONGMAN.  One who will take the reins of power in Iraq and also carve out a “lasting peace” between the Palestinians – an invented people by the way – and Israel.  I realize it sounds far-fetched but so did war games in the Straights of Hormuz… right?  Now the Iranians are conducting war games for just such a scenario.   We will have to see how all of this plays out, but I believe our leaving the country is the last move of the Luciferian Dialectic and sets the stage for the entrance of the Strongman!

Commentary & Analysis

Baghdad under al Qaeda assault

The Iraqi capital was rocked late Tuesday, Nov. 2 by the most ferocious assault al Qaeda has ever carried out on a capital city. By evening, it had spread to Baghdad’s environs after the death toll had climbed past 120 with more than 300 injured from 19 bomb car explosions in a dozen Shiite suburbs.

http://www.jpost.com/MiddleEast/Article.aspx?id=193815 Rapid fire explosions, involving booby-trapped cars, roadside bombs, mortar strikes leave 200 wounded in mostly Shiite neighborhoods.

It has been seven years since the US and coalition forces went into Baghdad. Thousands of lives were lost and the Iraqi people were liberated from the tyrant Saddam Hussein. We were told, several months ago, that the Iraq war was over and that the Iraqi people had won a decisive victory for democracy and freedom in the Middle East. However, it would seem that there is just one little factor that keeps cropping up and blowing – no pun intended – the progress that the Iraqi’s have made, to smithereens, literally.

The recent synchronized bombings that took place in the Iraqi capital says it all. The deep-rooted hatred between Sunni and Shia Muslim, that has been going on ever since the death of Mohammed, continues unabated. This latest attack, in a long line of massacres, should be a warning that the political landscape, in Iraq, is as tenuous as ever. What are the Iraqi’s to do? There are check points all over the city and yet the violence continues.

Enter the Strongman, the Hashemite King, the direct descendant of the prophet Mohammed, King Abdullah II, of Jordan. The time is ripe for him to step onto the world stage. I’ve been waiting for this ever since our invasion of Iraq. I have posted about this before and do so again now because it would appear that the Iraqi’s might be ready to embrace the Strongman. The people in Iraq wonder why there government is powerless to stop the carnage. The Malaki regime is enervated and without the propping up by the US, it would fold like a house of cards in a wind storm.

The King is the answer. Heck, he’s right next door! Remember too, that his uncle once was king of Iraq, so the memory a Hashemite monarchy is still somewhat fresh in the minds of the Iraqi’s. The stage is set for him to come riding in on his white horse and establish peace and safety in Iraq. Because he is a direct descendant of Mohammed, he garners the respect of both Sunni and Shia Moslem.

I believe he will make his new capital in the ancient city of Babylon. He will use the billions of petro dollars that are at his disposal and resurrect that ancient city. Then, he will solve the 60-year-old conundrum in the Middle East, by giving part of Jordan to the Palestinians for their homeland.

Keep your eye on the Temple mount in Jerusalem, because Abdullah is the only person in the world who controls the Temple Mount. Everything that goes on there is under his jurisdiction. Third Temple soon?

This recent bomb blast shows us that Iraq is as unstable as ever. Nothing has changed and I for one am angry when I think of the blood that has been spilled there. There is no peace in Iraq. They await the strongman and when he comes he will honor a god of fortresses….

  1. Reports in the past few days…
    – Turkey cutting off water in the Euphrates
    – Mosul (Nineveh) falling (again)

All resonate strongly with Biblical passages of doom…
    – as possible echoes or foreshadowings of curses
    – that continue to resound across history & prophecy

The difference between divination and true prophecy…
    – no matter that the future is not fixed (nor determined)
    – The will of God is certain (across any & all possibilities)

“It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the Living God.”

    • Euphrates – Eastern Turkey, Syria, Iraq through to the Persian Gulf. Very long & ancient river. Would be a very great impact on the irrigation for agricultural production, rural pastorilism, fishing, drinking water and the even greater on the peoples who rely up it. So many civil and national wars in region and, now, Turkey cutting off the river. People (whatever walk of life) have somehow struggled through all these tensions in the region – stopping the flow of the Euphrates is another invitation to major warfare and creating the pathway for the kings of the east.

      Rev 16:12 ?

    • Exactly Pete…
      – it will confuse folks that it could be a Rev. 16 “Vials Judgment”
      – my guess is that such things have reflections across history
      – so though not a main event yet, we might be seeing the same pattern
      – and that means that “the kings of the east” will also be foreshadowed
      – as will the release of “the 4 angels bound in the river Euphrates”

Are we in the actual? Look at the world wide devastation of the Trumpet & Vial judgments.

    • Hi Pete & Nome, very interesting that you should bring up Rev 16.
I was brought to Rev 16 myself this week in my own private devotionals. The main thing I noted particularly about the timing though was the preceding events in verse 2 about the 1st bowl.
“…the people who had the mark of the beast and worshiped it’s image.”

It could very well be part of the ‘preparation’ for the events coming in verse 12 though….

    • …I also pondered over the ‘frogs’ again too in verses 13 & 14.
Perhaps THESE events could be the timing of this forthcoming ‘alien’ disclosure.
frogs = greys??? Could they have been what John was seeing?

Just some additional food for thought?

    • Rev 16:12 ?

The Euphrates drying up could actually be what happens and not because of the dams, will the dams exist at the time of the Kings of the East or not? The Kings of the East must also cross the Tigris river will it dry up too in conjunction with the Euphrates?

    • The opinions of the damned…
      – and the dammed

Both the extremists and the environmentalists believe their visions will triumph only if you imagine that the borders of Syria, Iraq, Turkey and Lebanon don’t exist and you govern the region as a single political system or ecosystem….

And while occasionally a leopard tragically steps on a mine, the minefields have so limited human activity that nature has again flourished there. Mr. Alwash wants to keep the mines, create safe hiking routes and call it a “peace park….”

The real problem, though, said Mr. Alwash, is water, which is becoming so prized that it now costs about twice as much per liter as the leaded gasoline Iraqis use in their cars….

The primary headwaters of the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers are, indeed, in the largely Kurdish-populated mountains of eastern Turkey and Iraq. However, more droughts, diesel pumping, water needs for farms and a growing population in Turkey, plus rising demands for water by the oil industry in Iraq, have all combined to slow the flow of both great rivers across Syria and Iraq.

Turkey has built some 20 large dams and hundreds of small and medium dams to control the flow of the rivers for electricity and irrigation. Turkey also isn’t keen on sharing water with anti-Turkish Kurdish militants in Iraq and Syria, and Turkey now has hostile relations with Syria’s government….

As for the extremists, The Financial Times recently ran a map of the Middle East titled “Fighters Without Borders,” with colored arrows showing the flow of Sunni, Shiite and Kurdish fighters back and forth across the whole region, from Lebanon, through Syria and Iraq and down to the Gulf, irrespective of borders. Indeed, the Sunni group that led the seizure of Mosul is called the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant.

re: ISIS note ISIL as “Levant” vice “Lebanon” … all spins in the press … Levant implies Israel

    • And speaking of Israel…

    • Psalm 27

The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?
      – the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes
      – came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell
Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear
      – though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident

One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after
      – that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life
to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to inquire in his temple
      – For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion
in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me
      – he shall set me up upon a rock.

And now shall mine head be lifted up
      – above mine enemies round about me
therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy
      – I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD
Hear, O LORD, when I cry with my voice
      – have mercy also upon me, and answer me

When thou saidst, Seek ye my face
      – my heart said unto thee, Thy face, LORD, will I seek.
Hide not thy face far from me; put not thy servant away in anger
      – thou hast been my help; leave me not, neither forsake me
O God of my salvation, When my father and my mother forsake me
      – then the LORD will take me up

Teach me thy way, O LORD, and lead me in a plain path (*)
      – Deliver me not over unto the will of mine enemies
for false witnesses are risen up against me
      – and such as breathe out cruelty…
I had fainted, unless I had believed to see
      – the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living

Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart
[I] wait, I say, on the LORD (* because of mine enemies…)

  2. Dom,

This in continuation in our discussion about Babylon being the U.S. or Saudi Arabia.

Jeremiah 49:21 is not about Babylon not once is the last Babylon nation ever used in that chapter.

No verses say Babylon is on the Red the sea..

The Kings of the Medes (Iran, Syria, Afghanistan, Turkey, and Pakistan) are among the strongest Islamic nations..

Mecca is the number one Holy site for Islam.

The kings of the Medes (Iran, Syria, Afghanistan, Turkey, and Pakistan) would never attack their number one holy site.

Has Saudi Arabia threatened to attack Iran or Syria?

Who do Iranians always say “death to”?

    They say ‘death to America”

If the Kings of the Medes destroy Saudi Arabia what does that solve for them?

they still have U.S. who they hate to deal with.

If the Kings of the Medes destroy the U.S. now they can easily do what they want with Saudi Arabia without destroying their number 1 holy site.

Is Mecca Inhabited by the children of Judah (the Jews) and the children of 10-Israel (Jeremiah 50:1-20,25; 51:5-6,10,45; Isaiah 48:20; Revelation 18:4)?

These are not the sons of Ishmael.

Besides the nation of Israel, where do most Jews reside currently?

There are more Jews living in the U.S than in Israel just as it was in Babylon.

Is Mecca a Leading center for commodity trade goods, not just oil??

Rev 18:11 And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her (Babylon) ; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more:
Rev 18:12 The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble,
Rev 18:13 And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men.

More gold is traded in one day at the NY commodities exchange than all the rest of the world combined.

More silver and copper than all the rest of the world combined.

    What country trades more?

    The U.S. or Saudi Arabia?

Google this and on every source the U.S. is either ranked 1st or 2nd in the world & on every source Saudi Arabia does not even make the top 20.

    What is NY famous for?

The World Trade Centers which has been rebuilt.

NY city is the worlds capital

The theaters, concerts, arts, museums, opera, ballet, restaurants, festivals, street fairs, parks, shopping, hotels, and tourist sites give you an experience unlike any other city in the world.

That’s why people from all over the U.S. and around the world want to visit. And that’s why people call New York City the “Capital of the World.”

New York City Is the Global Center of Media
We’re the media, financial, and advertising capital of the world.
Seven largest media conglomerates headquartered in NYC
Six national broadcast networks and 10 local stations
Six prime-time series produced in NYC

Two of the top five U.S. cable distributors are in NYC
Four major studios headquartered in NYC

    Six international wire services
More than 200 foreign-language newspapers published
More than 100 foreign media have permanent bureaus
Six of the 350 consumer magazines are in the top 10
More museums and ballet, opera and theater companies than any other city in the

Can Mecca boast this kind of dazzle??

Is Mecca, Saudi Arabia a world military power??

Jer 51:53 Though Babylon should mount up to heaven, and THOUGH SHE SHOULD FORTIFY THE HEIGHT OF HER STRENGTH, yet from me shall spoilers come unto her, saith Yahweh.

Saudi Aribia is not even in the top 20 world military powers.

Babylon is known as being the number one world power of it’s day.

Who is the number one world power?

    The U.S.

Is Mecca the leader in Deceiveing nations/peoples with sorcery/drugs/pharmakeia (Isaiah 47:12; Revelation 18:23)??

    Who is the U.S.

    • Kirt, can babylon possibly be both arabia and the US? The bible does day “is fallen, is fallen” twice as to indicate two nations?
Kirk posted an interesting Walid Shoebat video. You both make good points, but every nation bows to Saudi Arabia.

    • mystery babylon & great babylon
      – spiritual & physical
      – spiritual can be many cities
      – aka “daughters of babylon”

      Rev. 17
15 And he saith unto me
      – The waters which thou sawest
      – where the whore sitteth [likely spiritual vice physical]
      – are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.

Physical is likely the antichrist controlled capital.

    • Well…who is the great mystery of Babylon the Great ? It’s causing differing opinions but really great insight.

My opinion is the religion of Islam is the great harlot or mystery of Babylon the Great. Islam has and does cross over ALL nations. According to this video teaching, inclusive of scriptures, it pretty much makes the case for Islam:

      Islam: Babylon the Great

I don’t doubt that New York is a mirror image of whoredom because of its central banking systems but once nuked, then what? It won’t affect Islam which will continue to dominate around the world.

      Food for thought.

    • I personnally am of the opinion that Rome is the primary candidate. The description of of Babylon’s fall in Revelation 18 to me describes the Catholic Church and the city that it is headquartered in. We find in verse 12 the following statement … “The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearles, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of prescious wood, and of brass, and of iron and marble… etc. etc. etc. The thing to key in on here is that she is arrayed in purple and fine linen. Babylon is riding the beast. I saw a very interesting documentary video the other night about how the Catholic Church created Islam to use it for their purposes in conquering the Holy Land Israel… if I remember correctly. So in other words, this woman is riding this beast… meaning she controls it in Revelation 17. A beast is a wild animal that is untamed and unpredictable. While to the woman it would seem that she is controlling it (which she Rome is at the moment) the beast in it’s wild nature (Islam) will turn on the woman and burn her with fire. We also have to remember that this mother/child cult goes back to ancient Israel where the Israelites would bake these cakes to the “queen of Heaven”. God did not favor this cult in ancient Israel and wanted it out. It is clearly described in the old testament. God will deal with it once and for all in the not too distant future in Revelation 18. It clearly is a spiritual abomination to men’s soul and further, it is a religion of a special kind of blasphemy that puts the pope in the place of Christ as one to go to for the forgiveness of sins… or the mediator. This is direct blasphemy against Christ. Having the pope be the go between on earth and directly to Mary is quite blasphemous. Still further, one has to keep in mind that the Vatican controls most nations through the setup of the current New World Order (or world governance) being set up through the club of Rome/United Nations etc. She is fabulously wealthy in light of the recent information brought out by the former employee of the World Bank (forgot her name). She revealed that our income taxes go to the Vatican. If she does this and is in control of Islam currently, then she is even more wealthy than anyone could dare to imagine. The description of her (Mystery Babylon) being arrayed in purple is quite telling. Further, she is guilty of spiritual fornication. Further still, she is guilty of the blood of the Martyrs of Jesus. Rome has a history of this kind of slaughter. Parts of the old Roman Empire consisted of Muslim nations as well if I’m not mistaken.

A huge factor in Mystery Babylon’s identification is the fact that this Mother/Child cult is seen being practiced in ancient Israel much to the disapproval of God.

I could probably go on with more but I think you can see the picture falling into place hopefully.

    • I should also add that indeed Islam will have something to do with this whole picture as people’s heads will be cut off in the tribulation period. I have a video teaching in my library called “The seventh Kindgom” in which the case is made that it’s very possible that one foot on Nebuchanezaar’s dream of the statue rules for 42 months in the form of the Roman Catholic Church in Rome for the first half of the tribulation and then Islam possibly rules for the other 42 months… which will make the last part of the tribulation period the “Great” tribulation.

    • I would also add that the history of the mother/child cult being practiced in ancient Israel quite obviously could have nothing to do with America being Mystery Babylon. This spiritual fornication described in Revelation 17:4 is something that comes down to us from the dim mists of time passed. When looked at in this light, it becomes clear (to me and hopefully others) that this cannot be talking about America… or an American city such as New York. I’m not saying that America won’t be touched in the tribulation period and bad things happen to it, I’m merely pointing out the identification of Mystery Babylon itself.

    • John T,

Just because the verse says “fallen” twice does not mean two nations.

“In Jewish liturgy, when something is incredibly important, it is mentioned twice. Jesus does this when He says something twice like “verily, verily” but this is also signifies great intimacy when He repeats someone’s name twice like Moses, Moses; Abraham, Abraham; Saul, Saul…
but when something is mentioned three times in a row, it is off the charts in importance and this is why of all the attributes of God He is holy, holy, holy. That is the greatest emphasis that can be put on anything or anyone in Scripture and this is telling us that this is the most important thing about God. God is holy, holy, holy. This is the only attribute of God that is mentioned in the Scriptures three times!”

I would add that when a word is mentioned twice it usually indicates volume with each time the word gets said louder.

So when the verse says “Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen…” we are being told how important this event is and being told in a louder voice with the second time.

Also, when you look back at the other 6 Babylonian nations in history they were all one nation not 2 different nations.

I don’t see every nation bowing down to Saudi Arabia..

Most Americans do not bow down to Saudi Arabia.

Do Europeans bow down to Saudi Arabia???

      Look at like this..
Which nation has the most power in the world? Saudi Arabia or the U.S?

What would affect the world more??

The destruction of Saudi Arabia (not a military super power) or the destruction of the U.S.

Look at LA’s post today. “the United States has 900 military bases world-wide.”

How many military bases doe Saudi Arabia have?

The Saudi’s military is very weak…

Who is the world’s policeman good, bad, or ugly??

All of the verses mentioned about Babylon have to be applicable to the nation that is Babylon..

I have posted several verses that Saudi Arabia does not fit into…

What nation still protects believers? Still protects Israel? Still can not be beat militarily?? At least not yet..

      Saudi Arabia??

      NO the U.S.

    • Corey,

What nation is the last great nation born (hindermost), made up of mixed people (Babylon), is a symbol of royalty wealth and justice? Has the strongest military of the day?

And is known for its money exchange? And is known to be made up of the 12 tribes of Israel?

      RCC Rome??

      NO, the U.S..

    • Kirt… On that, I would most definitely agree. America is the strongest most powerful nation on earth to have ever existed. It’s military might is unchallenged anywhere in history and the present. It is also the most influential nation the world has ever seen. And yes, we have held and continue to hold the world’s economy in our hands. But we are speaking of spiritual blasphemy of the Harlot through the mother/child cult which is leading the lost souls of the world to their ultimate eternal demise. As I’ve already stated above, America has never been guilty of the blood of the martyrs of Jesus as Mystery Babylon is described in Revelation 17:6. America has been a nation that has propogated the gospel tremendously. When Islam rules during the last half of the tribulation period (42 months) it will turn on the whore (Rome) and burn her with fire as described in Revelation.

The Babylon of Jeremiah being America is inconclusive. There was a Babylon of the past that was the hammer of the earth. I perceive that this is where you are basing your observational characteristics on in concluding that it is America. Yes… I would agree that those characteristics can and do fit America but so does the Babylon of the past.

Someone once famously said of the bible… When the plain meaning of the scripture makes sense, seek no other sense.

When Mystery Babylon falls in Revelation 18:2, we can see obviously that it says “is fallen” twice. This is only a speculation on my part but it would make sense that this is describing the two aspects of Mystery Babylon… the religion part which is the mother child cult seen in ancient Israel that the Israelites were baking cakes to a.k.a. the queen of Heaven, and the other part may be the physical part… the city of Rome itself. Furthermore, do we need a sledgehammer upside the head from God to get our attention after he sent a major clue to us with the double lightning strike the St. Peter’s Basilica when Pope Francis took the throne? That double lightning strike was a major clue in my opinion. It symbolized “Is Fallen, Is Fallen”. Two lightning strikes = Is Fallen, Is Fallen.

The scriptural evidence of the mother/child cult of ancient Israel and evidence otherwise such as the double lightning strike to St. Peter’s Basilica are too numerous.

    • I don’t think how this is going to shake out is perfectly clear just yet, rather like all the bits of the Bible that have come alive as time has gone on. We can look backward and *smack forehead* at how it happened, and see how clueless everyone before the event was, as to how it could be. Case in point- Israel becoming a nation.

All the candidates for Babylon are interesting. I also don’t think any one of them can be touted as we KNOW its them. Not at the moment. Very soon, though, I have no doubt. Just right now, there’s a problem making any one of them fit. The picture hasn’t gelled completely, and I think there’s still the possibility of some surprising, *smack on forehead* moments to come.

However, discounting SA because its militarily weak and not the hammer of the world and not exchanging money… well, the oil coming out of there is more powerful than the world’s armies combined, and everyone kneels to it without a single shot being fired. Who needs military when you can hammer the globe into submission with a commodity?

    • Hey Kirt….

I could ask you to explain each verse in Rev 17 and 18….but the angel did a pretty good job of explaining that already to John.

      But i am curious….

      In Revelation 18:19 …it says,
“And they threw dust on their heads and were crying out….weeping and mourning ….etc.”

Hmmmm. So in your opinion, …..THE GOOD OLE USA ….is “mystery babylon”. ( forgive me for laughing, i almost broke a rib. )

      Ok. So let’s see…..

When exactly was the last time that AMERICANS were known for….”throwing dust on their heads and were crying out…” ????

You may be interested to know…..THAT is a ….. MIDDLE EASTERN CUSTOM !!! We don’t do that in THE GOOD OLE USA.

And “Pig Pen” … on Charlie Brown … doesn’t count as an example either!

I only bring this one verse up……..because it’s kinda …..BLATANTLY OBVIOUS…..that these two chapters are discussing a city
that is in The MIDDLE EAST…..where “ARABS” ….. actually DO this “dust on heads” custom….ONLY for like 1,000’s of years…..
………….and NOT on the “east coast” of America, or on Wall Street in New york….and certainly NOT the Vatican either.
( Boy, my ribs really hurt now! )

Plus, if you would have read all The Scriptures i gave about “mystery babylon” … and studied all the connections in those passages…..
…..and truly watched the videos that some very knowledgeable people put together to make it easy for people to understand …
then you’d already know that the USA ….
…………is NOT in any way some imagined connection to these chapters in Revelation or the whole host of passages
in the Old Testament that i have shared repeatedly….about “mystery babylon”….because God revealed it in His Word.

But hey, ….maybe “mystery babylon” is the city of DETROIT MICHIGAN….it’s in the USA ….and it has a lot of muslims there now.

Betcha didn’t think of that one, huh ??

Or maybe it’s ALLENTOWN PENNSYLVANIA….cause lots of Middle East people live there too.

      WOW….it is such a mystery.

I myself, …. i will stick with all the Scriptures that God gives, … and not try to “make up” some erroneous ideas.

Our Heavenly Father made it abundantly clear………..IF you apply 2 Timothy 2:15.

    • Dom,

Those verses about “casting dust on their heads” are an easy fit for U.S as Babylon.

      But 1st,

The Kings of the Medes (Iran, Syria, Afghanistan, Turkey, and Pakistan) are among the strongest Islamic nations..

Mecca is the number one Holy site for Islam.

The kings of the Medes (Iran, Syria, Afghanistan, Turkey, and Pakistan) would NEVER destroy their number one holy site.

All Muslims, wherever they are on Earth, pray five times a day in the direction of the Kaaba in Mecca (located at 21° 25′ 24″ N and 39° 49′ 24” E in DMS notation). The direction of prayer is known as the qibla. (Also see Muslim beliefs about Allah and the afterlife”

“In addition, a pilgrimage to Mecca is required of every Muslim who can afford it as one of the Five Pillars of the faith.

Every year about three million gather for the major pilgrimage, or Hajj, during the Muslim month of Dhu’l-Hijja, and many more perform the minor pilgrimage, or Umrah, at various times throughout the year.”

This fact alone kills your theory.

    • I am in line with Cory’s thinking on this that Rome (I.e. echumenical Catholicisim) is mystery Babylon and that Islam plays a component part of a greater whole.

All evil perpetuated throughout history is not evil for evil’s sake. Nazisism, communism and now Islamic jihad.

It is manifested by Satan through the evil minds and actions of men to be used as a catalyst for the world to unite against under the banner of “good” versus “evil”. This “good” will be a self proclaimed righteous, but no righteousNess will be found in them. This “good” will be a Christian empire filled with Lukewarm Christians. True disciples of Christ will be in the minority and lumped in with other enemies of the state.

    • Dom,

Fact # 2 that kills your theory as Mecca, Saudi Arabia being Babylon.

Just like all the other 6 Babylon type countries in history, this current Babylon has to have a large population of the children of Judah (the Jews) and the children of 10-Israel.

Is there are large population of Jews and the children of 10-Israel in Mecca, Saudi Arabia?

Saudi Arabia is not even ranked in the top 15 countries with Jewish population.

Whereas, the U.S. is 2nd right behind the nation of Israel.

No Jews, living in Mecca Saudi Arabia,
No children of 10-Israel living in Mecca, Saudi Arabia,
NO way Mecca, Saudi Arabia is Babylon.

    • Dom,
Fact # 3 that kills Mecca Saudi Arabia as Babylon

Is Saudi Arabia a threat to the kings of the Medes?

They have no military to speak of. The military that is there is who?

      The U.S.

US support for Israel always irks the Saudis because they are an Islamic nation.

So, who keeps debating about attacking Iran & Syria?

And calls them the axis of evil?

We all know its just a matter of when the U.S. will try to attack either of these countries.

Who has come to Iran & Syria’s aid in protecting them from a U.S. invasion thus far?

Now look at these verses that tell us the nations that join together to destroy Babylon (the U.S.).

      Jer 51:27
Set ye up a STANDARD (run to the standard for safety) in the LAND (world), blow the trumpet among the nations, prepare the nations against HER (Babylon, U.S., whore), call together against HER (Babylon, U.S., whore) the kingdoms of ARARAT (Turkey), MINNI (Russia), and ASHCHENAZ (Germany); appoint a captain against her; cause the HORSES (cavalry-military troops) to come up as the rough CATERPILLERS (devourers)

      Jer 51:28
Prepare against HER (Babylon, U.S., whore) the nations with THE KINGS OF THE MEDES (Iran, Syria, Afghanistan, turkey, India, Pakistan), the captains thereof, and all the RULERS (leaders of nations) thereof, and all the land of his dominion

Here is another question for you..

If the Kings of the Medes, Russia, Germany & Turkey all attack Mecca, Saudi Arabia what military do they have to fight against?

Saudi Arabia’s military is weak and relies on who for their military strength?

      The U.S.

but don’t worry about they aren’t going to destroy their number one holy site..

    • Fact # 4 that kills Mecca, Saudi Arabia as Babylon.

Take a good look at the merchandise that comes out of Babylon.

Rev 18:11 And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more:

Rev 18:12 The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble,

Rev 18:13 And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and olive oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men.

Now ask yourself when people in the world want to buy ALL of these merchandise do they go to Mecca and Saudi Arabia?

Do they go to NY and the U.S.?

As you say correctly Saudi Arabia is known for its merchandising of crude oil but that is it..

Do you see crude oil in that list in those 2 verses?????

More gold is traded in one day at the NY commodities exchange than all the rest of the world combined.

More silver and copper than all the rest of the world combined.

All of those items on that list are sought after here in the good ole U.S.
      Not Mecca, Saudi Arabia..

    • Dom,

Now to your rib cracking response..

In other words, the verses say, while they stood afar off, they cast dust on their heads.

When the U.S. is destroyed the merchants that were made rich by her & are afar off from her including those in the Middle East will cast dust on their heads.

Rev 18:15 THE MERCHANTS of these things, which were made rich by her, SHALL STAND AFAR OFF for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing,

Rev 18:16 And saying, Alas, alas, that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls

Rev 18:17 For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, AND AS MANY AS TRADE BY SEA, STOOD AFAR OFF,

Rev 18:18 And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city

Rev 18:19 And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas, that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness for in one hour is she made desolate.

Let’s put it this way, if Mecca is destroyed, will ALL those merchants who were made rich by her & stand afar off (which you say includes the U.S.) will t all those merchants in the U.S. cast dust on their heads?

As you say correctly the U.S. does not do that.

But, if the U.S. is destroyed those merchants that are afar off & and are made rich by her and those that trade by the sea with her in the Middle East will cast dust on their heads.

      No problem……

So when the U.S. is destroyed what country is left vulnerable and knows they are next???

Do you think there will be some Israelis that will throw dust on their heads???

    • Corey,

Also, Rome is NOT a deep water seaport

      Revelation 18:10-17

In order for Babylon to have this kind of merchandise coming in by ships…it must be a DEEP WATER SEAPORT CITY.

For ships of today to bring such merchandise requires the ships to be large commercial freighters.

These ships require deep-water port facilities to dock and unload/load.

They must have a harbor with large depths.

Rome does not have a deep water seaport

  3. I just read yesterday: Jordan is sweating it, too. This Caliphate bunch could easily foment on and then in their borders. Their government even had to issue some kind of “statement of confidence” yesterday.

I’m not fully convinced the Hashemite King is going to be left standing when all is said and done if we are headed for a Psalm 83 scenario of which I am personally sold on.

    We shall see.

Right now it’s a three way Kurd vs Sunni vs Shiite civil war that is in process of happening. When they all get tired of killing each other then you can guess who is next.

    • When LA mentions the king riding in on his white horse, it reminds me that buraq is the name of the steed that Muhammad rode from mecca to Jerusalem. The name means lightning.

Isis is also the sister/wife of osirus and mother of horus the all-seeing eye in some belief systems.

Kirt thanks for posting. You know your stuff. I’m just speculating that it may be more than the US but the whole NWO thats being set up.

  4. L.A.,

Here is some more very compelling evidence on who KING Abdullah II MAY turn out to be.

The antichrist is also known as the “son of perdition”.

The phrase “son of perdition” is used only three times in the bible.

    Once in 2 Thessalonians.

    2Th 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, THE SON OF PERDITION;

And the other two times in the book of John.

The “son of perdition” in the past was Judah Iscariot.

What is the lineage of Judah Iscariot?

He can be traced back to an inhabitant to the land of Moab.

    Where is Moab?

Jordan = the descendants of Lot.

It would appear then that the AC may come from Jordan.

I do not see the people of Israel falling for Obama being their Messiah as many are still claiming.

Israel’s Messiah needs to have an Israeli background/religion not a “claimed Christian”.

More interesting info on King Abdullah

    Peace Activist

He has constantly and openly called for discussion in the negotiations toward a two-state solution. He is also lauded as an interfaith leader for his support of the 2007 initiative, A Common Word— A GROUNDBREAKING INITIATIVE IN CHRISTIAN-MUSLIM ENGAGEMENT

(www.acommonword.com). He was also the initiator and driving force behind the recently adopted UN World Interfaith Harmony Week Resolution, marking the first week of February an annual celebration of faiths.

    • Not the AC. HE will be the fallguy for the AC.

The identity of the AC (The one claimed to be at any rate) will not be a secret. It will openly promoted, so that the real AC may work with impunity and undetected.

  5. God allowed America to have Jimmy Carter, a weak president in the 1970″s, that led to the fall of Iran into the radical hands of Islam. Today we have an even weaker president in Obama. Chaos has been breaking out all over the Middle East and continues to spiral out of control. Carter was followed by a strong president, Ronald Reagan. I pray (if we are still here) another strong confident leader will follow Obama. One who will completely support Israel.

  6. Hope I didn’t offend any Catholics who may have read my comments above about Mystery Babylong… Nothing personnal! Lol!

  7. The invasion of Iraq may well be remembered as the first oil currency war….. a far cry from being a response to 9-11 terrorism or Iraq’s alleged weapons of mass destruction they wanted the world to believe….The invasion or” war” was precipitated by two converging phenomena at that time which were the imminent peak in global oil production, and the ascendance of the euro currency. The world oil supplies were about to peak, after which there would be a steady decline in supplies of oil. Iraq, possessing the world’s second largest oil reserves, and was therefore already a target of U.S. geo-strategic interests.
Keep in mind the fact that Iraq had just switched its oil transaction currency to euros, rather than U.S. dollars, and the Bush administration’s aim was to prevent further OPEC momentum in favor of the euro as an alternative oil transaction currency standard.
What’s really frightening about this is the US policy has not changed. I don’t think there is any doubt that if the US doesn’t change course, it will end the way all empires end… with military over-extension and subsequent economic decline with eventual collapse. As I stated in yesterday’s post, Russia, China, will not invade the US, they won’t have to, the US will inevitably destroy itself from within…fueled by monumental and unquenchable greed.

  12. I am confused about the statement that Jordan will be given to the Palestinians for their homeland. Wasn’t that what was supposed to happen in 1948/49, but they refused to leave? It’s not about them not having a place to go, it’s about them not wanting to be anywhere but Israel, because the spiritual battle is over The Land.

  13. L.A., I have always appreciated your stance on the King of Jordan and I believe there is much truth in it.

I also notice you use the term strongman consistently throughout the articles and steer clear of the ‘antichrist’ label or even implying he might be the AC. I think this is wise.

I have a different label for the King of Jordan than the strongman. I call him the ‘fallguy’. This is because there will come a time when most of the western world will believe him to be the AC, imho.

  14. I see a resemblance between the King of Jordan and these ancient stone heads:
