Guest Blogger – Natalina – CULTURAL PUSH BACK! – Maleficent Review!

maleficent fliesThe Wifey and I were headed to the theater to see the movie Meleficent.  I felt the Spirit of the Living God tell me not to go.  This was after we had purchased our tickets!  We didn’t go and perhaps it was for the better.  However, Natalina did go and her review of this movie is posted below and is also featured in our Monthly News Magazine.

This review is what I have come to call, cultural push back.   In other words Hollywood is now blatantly calling evil good, as Natalina points out.  I, for one, am tired of there agenda being forced down my throat.

Last year, they did it with Jack the giant slayer  film.  I blogged about this movie and here is the rhyme that they changed for the new rendition, which is certainly not what I remember as a child.

“Fee, Fi, Fo, Fum–ask not whence the thunder comes,”

“For between heaven and earth, it’s a perilous place,

home to a fearsome giant race,

who hunger to conquer the mortals below,

waiting for the seeds of revenge to grow.”

In my opinion Jack the Giant Slayer was about the Nephilim returning to earth.  Here’s the link to the blog I posted last year:

Maleficent is another movie which redirects the viewer and indoctrinates him or her into the world of the Fallen One.

Natalina’s article is on point and I thank her for her insightful contribution!  L.A.  6-2-2014

This is a SPOILER ALERT as Natalina gets in to the details of the movie.

Calling Evil Good:  Review of Disney’s “Maleficent”

By: Natalina –

“Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!” Isaiah 5:20

I admit it. I’m a Disney geek. I love fairy tales. I love stories where ultimate good triumphs over ultimate evil, and classic Disney movies tended to portray this beautifully. One of my favorite Disney movies of all time is the 1959 classic “Sleeping Beauty.” The story of Sleeping Beauty is a wonderful tale of pure innocence triumphing over utter depravity. The setting of that animated masterpiece is breathtaking, with over a thousand animators working for six years to complete, adapting Tchaikovsky’s Sleeping Beauty ballet for the score.  It’s an enchanting story and a beautiful artistic achievement.

The classic Disney film depicts a magical kingdom where a good king and queen have just had a daughter named Aurora. Aurora is a blessing to the realm, and a celebration for her birth takes place amongst all of the residents of this enchanted land. As usual, there can be no fairy tale without a wicked protagonist, bent on bringing darkness to the kingdom. In Sleeping Beauty, the villain is a witch named Maleficent.

Maleficent is pure evil. There is not an ounce of good portrayed in her character. She curses little Aurora, that on her 16th birthday, she would prick her finger on a spinning wheel, and fall into a “sleep like death”. A curse that could only be broken by true love’s kiss. Maleficent is ultimately defeated in the end.   There is no ambiguity. No confusion as to who is the good guy and who is the bad guy. Good triumphs over evil. Roll credits.

Because this is my favorite Disney animated film, I excitedly went to see the brand new live action adaptation of the story, simply called “Maleficent.” It is a visually stunning film with some scenes that leave the viewer breathless with their incredibly realized visions of an otherworldly realm.

The title character is played by Angelina Jolie. The film begins with Maleficent as a child. She is portrayed as a fairy, living in a magical kingdom where there is no need for government because everyone takes care of each other. This magical kingdom borders the kingdom of humans, where of course, everything is war and strife. Typical.

The first thing one notices about young Maleficent is that while she is called a fairy, she does not look like the fairies we’re accustomed to seeing in story books and legends. Maleficent is a beautiful young girl, with ram horns protruding from her head, along with giant wings.

young maleficent 2Fairies are usually portrayed with wings, but the ones belonging to Maleficent are not gossamer and ethereal as one might expect. Hers look more like that of a giant raptor of some sort, covered in dark feathers, with a giant claw protruding from the highest joint on each side. She looks less like what we’ve come to expect fairies to look like, and more like some kind of Gothic angel. The imagery is haunting.

Maleficent lives in harmony with her magical woodland friends. She is portrayed as pure good. One day, a human boy named Stefan shows up at the entrance to the enchanted forest. It is understood that up until this point, fairies and humans did not get along. But through a series of encounters, Maleficent and the boy grow very close, eventually sharing “true love’s kiss.” It’s all so romantic.

Time goes by and Maleficent matures. She sees less and less of Stefan, and it is explained that Stefan has been caught up in the pursuit of worldly power and riches, forgetting his beloved Maleficent. Fast forward to adulthood. Stefan is a servant in the castle of the human King.

The King desires the riches held inside the enchanted garden of fairies. He launches an attack on the forest, which is thwarted by Maleficent and her army of fantastic creatures. On his deathbed, the king vows that whomever can bring him proof that Maleficent is dead, will be crowned the next king.

Stefan goes back to the forest and meets with his childhood love. She welcomes him. That night, Stefan drugs Maleficent and cuts off her wings. He presents them to the king, and becomes king himself. For her part, Maleficent is thrown into a fit of rage and despair upon discovering that her precious wings had been removed, and the act of betrayal came from the human she thought was her true love.

Now, we see Maleficent becoming the wicked villain that we came to know so many years ago in the original Disney film. Her eyes glow green and the entire garden becomes dark and foreboding. While she is now earthbound and devastated, she declares dominion over the enchanted realm, and the woodland creatures bow down the her. She vows revenge upon Stefan. When Stefan and his new queen give birth to their daughter Aurora, Maleficent crashes the party and enacts that familiar curse over baby Aurora. The curse is the same as it was in the animated film, and only “true love’s kiss” can rescue Aurora from the “sleep like death.”

And, like the animated film, Aurora is swiftly taken away to a hideout in the woods by three good fairies, who promise to keep her hidden for sixteen years plus one day, in an effort to outwit the curse and keep Aurora from pricking her finger on that deadly spinning wheel.

In this version, Maleficent discovers Aurora’s whereabouts right away. She watches as the little girl grows older. Eventually, she manages to bring Aurora inside the enchanted forest, where Aurora mistakenly believes that Maleficent is her fairy godmother. In time, Maleficent’s cold evil heart is softened by Aurora’s innocence, and she tries to lift the curse, but she cannot. Only “true love’s kiss” will do the trick.  Heartbroken over what she’s done, Maleficent assumes the role of fairy godmother and protector, and loves Aurora intensely.

Meanwhile, King Stefan is growing increasingly insane and paranoid, and vows to kill Maleficent by any means necessary. Somehow, this film about one of the most wicked fictional characters of all time, manages to turn her into a sympathetic character. A victim, really.  Any perceived evil she had done was the fault of the tyrant King.

Fast forward to Aurora’s 16th birthday. Aurora discovers her true identity, and also learns that Maleficent is the one who cursed her. She breaks Maleficent’s heart by accusing her of being “the source of evil in the world” and runs away to the castle. Upon her arrival, crazy King Stefan recognizes his daughter and locks her away.

Maleficent, who is now portrayed as having become good again, goes to the castle to save Aurora from the fate caused by Maleficent’s own curse, but she arrives too late. Aurora has already pricked her finger, and is locked in an eternal sleep. In an effort to save her, Maleficent brings a handsome young prince to Aurora’s bedside (Aurora had previously met him in the forest and apparently thought he was dreamy) and tells him to kiss the Sleeping Beauty, which he does. Unlike the original story, the kiss does nothing to awaken the princess. She remains comatose. Maleficent is racked with guilt and grief and promises to never let any harm come to the girl. As a last gesture, she leans down to kiss Aurora’s forehead, which… you guessed it… wakes the Sleeping Beauty. The “True love’s kiss” was not from Prince Charming in this tale, but from the wicked witch who had been responsible for the curse in the first place.

maleficent curse

Our story is not yet over. Aurora asks Maleficent if she can come live in the forest with her, and Maleficent agrees. They attempt to escape the castle, but crazy King Stefan catches them and a battle ensues. Maleficent uses her magic against the King but it is to no avail. She even conjures a dragon, but it is no use because the King has discovered Maleficent’s one weakness… which is that iron burns her skin. He traps her in an iron net. Meanwhile, Aurora is running through the castle and discovers that King Stefan has kept Maleficent’s disembodied wings as a trophy all these years. Aurora breaks the wings out of their locked container, and the wings promptly fly to Maleficent, reuniting with their host, and Maleficent’s full power is restored. In an incredible scene, Maleficent crashes through an enormous stained glass window, her wings spread wide as she flies away to freedom with Aurora.  This scene is in slow motion, I presume so that the symbolism is not lost on the audience.

In the last scene of the film, the garden is restored to harmony and Aurora is crowned Queen of both the fairy and human realms. Maleficent is once again in her full winged glory. In a breathtaking final scene, she flies through the clouds and stops just short of the sun, her wings spread wide with her face tipped toward the heavens. The narrator proclaims that sometimes, a person can be both a villain and a hero.

At this point, I imagine that many of you are thinking what I was thinking. In fact, almost from the very beginning of this film, I felt uneasy. This tale unfolded almost as if Lucifer himself had written an apologetic about how misunderstood he is.

From the beginning we see magical creatures living in harmony until an evil tyrant becomes jealous of their beautiful and carefree existence. The innocent fairy (angel?) seeks only to befriend a human, but is betrayed both by the tyrant and the human. As punishment for simply being beautiful and magical, the magnificent winged creature is violently punished by having her precious wings removed. She is literally cast to earth and can no longer enjoy flying through the heavens, because she can no longer fly.

Because the creature has been relegated to an earth bound existence, she sets up her own earthly kingdom where she reigns. Everyone considers her to be evil, but that’s only because of the tyrannical king and the dimwitted humans, who simply do not understand her, and have made her life a living hell.

In the end, it is this banished creature that is the savior of mankind. She becomes the hero, uniting the magical realm with the human realm. The young human’s (Aurora) reward for believing in the winged creature is that she is elevated to the status of queen. The tyrannical king is dead. Aurora takes his place.  Her reward for trusting Maleficent is to be given a godlike status. And Maleficent (Lucifer?) is once again free to fly through the heavens in full glory. This is the final scene: – t

maleficent flies

The imagery is so blatant that I almost had to pinch myself. Here I was, in a theater full of mostly children, watching a story told from the point of view of the fallen, portraying them as not only our friend, but ultimately our savior.

In one creepy scene, Aurora asks Maleficent about her wings. She replies, “I had wings once. But they were stolen from me.” One can imagine that this is precisely how Lucifer felt as he was cast down to earth.

“How you have fallen from heaven, O morning star, son of the dawn! You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations!” (Isaiah 14:12)

In 1968, The Rolling Stones released a song titled “Sympathy for the Devil.”  It is sung by Mick Jagger as a first-person narrative from the point of view of Lucifer.  I couldn’t help but hear the refrain from that song in my head as this film unfolded. “If you meet me, have some courtesy, have some sympathy, and some taste; use all your well-learned politesse, or I’ll lay your soul to waste.”

Certainly, Satan and his minions have launched a propaganda campaign in an effort to portray themselves as innocent victims of a tyrannical God. Throughout New Age philosophies and secret societies, we see Lucifer portrayed as a light bringer, giver of knowledge, misunderstood and mis-portrayed by a world that simply doesn’t understand their true sacrifice. We see this more and more in pop culture.

malificent wings once stolen

L.A. Marzulli wrote about this very issue on his blog in a post titled, “Ancient Aliens – Satan is misunderstood?Within, L.A. describes how the History Channel’s popular Ancient Aliens series dedicated an entire episode to how Satan might not be such a bad guy. He quotes David Childress as saying:

In a sense, Satan’s not such a bad guy.  You can’t have light without the dark.  You can’t have right without wrong.  And we have to learn these things for ourselves, and ultimately, through choice wrong and right, we grow and we become who we are and ultimately to be like our makers, to be gods ourselves.

This is precisely the narrative that I feel comes across in the film “Maleficent”. Although I’ve described the film in detail, I do believe it is something that must be seen to be believed. If anyone out there sees the film, I’d invite you to visit my website ( and use the contact form to email me. I’d like to know if I’m the only one who noticed this hidden (or not so hidden) story line behind what is being presented as a fantasy tale.

The closing line of the film, admonishing the audience to understand that sometimes you can be both a villain and a hero, could easily be printed on Satan’s business card.

“No wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.” 2 Corinthians 11:14

  1. Wow L.A.
When Jack the giant slayer came out and I watched it with my 12 year old son, we both looked at each other during the film and said ” what if giants were real”?
What if fables and some fairy tales hold some truth? Masked by Satan to get his agenda?
We went home and said ” what if the cartoon the Gaurdians” and trans formers had more than meets the eye?
Does Satan sit back and laugh at what Morons we are? We think we are innocently going to watch a movie and he is slowly trying to brain wash us?
He comes to lie cheat steal destroy,,,father of lies! and is terribly jealous that we have forgiveness and he does not …..ever.

  2. Nails it.

This goes hand in glove with the above review. I think they’re both spot on.

A 2X4 to the back of the head is more subtle than this movie.

    • Absolutely none of the hidden meanings of these stories are by accident.

I was recently talking to a gentleman who works for an exclusive company of Brand marketing. He laid out to me how brand marketing works, how they start first by creating an avatar and then story boarding to give life to the IMAGE, blatantly using coined esoteric spiritual principles etc. that even Aleister Crowley would envy. In less than 30 minutes he quoted much out of the book of Revelation and I am sure he did not know that, me in astonishment and him showing forth his naive zeal, I actually checked to see if I was drooling in hearing what I heard.

When time permits I have to go look on the net to find some of this source material in which these Marketers are being trained from.

      Babylon returns.

    • Saul Alinsky, perhaps? More likely, Sigmund Freud’s nephew, Edward Bernays.

“The conscious and intelligent manipulation of the organized habits and opinions of the masses is an important element in democratic society. Those who manipulate this unseen mechanism of society constitute an invisible government which is the true ruling power of our country.”

    • Zoinks bizarre film, Don’t miss the cows in the field at the 1:58 mark (for cow lovers & (W) vegetarians)

  3. It is disturbing is that children are being exposed to this stuff. In Disney’s Frozen, the prince was also not so honorable. The broadway show Wicked has a sympathetic view of the Wicked Witch from the Wizard of Oz. It is an upside down world. I don’t think Walt Disney would approve. The comparisons to Lucifer are obvious.

    • please see…

      – re: Bosley’s ” Latitude 33:Key to the Kingdom”

    • Walt Disney was an occultist and would be pleased to see where his studio is going. He wanted to capture the minds of children and he did and it became a generational thing as people became numb to the hidden symbolism in disney movies, then took their kids to the same movies and everything else disney puts out.

    • Absolutely John Michael !
The movie ‘Fantasia’ back in 1940 is a very clear example of the beginnings of that brainwashing…
      Also… ‘Pinocchio’… ‘Alice in Wonderland’…
…followed then later by all the MK ULTRA/Mickey Mouse ‘programming’

…and where do we begin now currently? Pretty much EVERYTHING on the Disney Channel is absolute, desensitizing, hyped up garbage.

  4. Hi, LA!

The other day, Nomemoleste brought up about some points about the symbolism pertaining to a logo of a communications organization (in particular, ABC TV/Radio/Internet – Australia) as a result of influence from infiltration by unwanted entities (the Soviets/Commies! And the Devil, no doubt).

A website, I have mentioned before, has been following all of this symbolism, subliminals, occultism and so on that are featured in music videos, movies, kid’s cartoons, advertising and news, other celebrity events and exposing it all – Vigilant Citizen. In a way, reveals things that are before our eyes but not everyone recognizes as dangerous since most will be oblivious to the obvious suggestions and power of the images which are plainly occultic and satanic – you know, the “it’s cool and hip and groovy” and it’s a new era and trendy and fashionable which are purposeful in the satanic agenda.

From my visits to Vigilant Citizen, the website author or presenter is providing observations, not necessarily promoting his/hers from a Christian perspective, but I hope, from the occasional mention of God/Christ he/she has made, that he/she is a believer. I get the impression they are. Regardless, it is an eye-opener, as said before: some will be surprised, some not so, and some will be informed and perhaps, as a result, see another indicator to the times we live in and according to what Jesus alerted us to.

Some may be surprised at the blatant in-your-face demonic symbolism featured in whatever media, these days, whereas to others it won’t be new – it’s all in plain sight and accepted and it’s subtle like the serpent. Anyway, if you got time to kill.. check out Vigilant Citizen (it’s an one eye-opener – you’ll get the point/pun). 🙂

Ps… Nomememoleste.. I forgot to consider the Soviet/Commie bastards subversion and infiltration into Australia way back just after the WWII. As some know here [since I discuss personal stuff often – I figure I’m with true friends, believers in Christ, so I let it out!] my folks Ruskies, immigrants/refugees from Russia/China to Australia back in late 40s/early 50s spoke of Russian community gatherings and the Black Hats harrassing ex-Russians/New Australians here. Appears they got to a few of the politiicians over the years.

I hope I still have copy [and if I’ve lent it, I’d like it back, thanks!], had a magazine (published in 1990s) which featured article about the Commie infiltration – Australian Labour Party leader (late 70s/early 80s), Bill Hayden, was as a policeman in the Queensland Town of Ipswich before his days in politics, was an offical Red-card carrying Soviet Flagbearer! (photos show him with commie flag leading the march back in black & white days!) He never succeeded in election as PM here, but later was rewarded position of Governor-General (who presides over the Prime Minister/Parliament as Queen’s Representative and decided whether they PM or not, a la Whitlam (another socialist) and Frazer.) and since we never got around to a War of Independence (the Eureka Stockake and Ned Kelly came close). Not to mention, popular, regular, Aussie bloke Bob Hawke (a Rhodes Scholar, Labour PM through 80s) – liked a beer and sport, some may remember the US losing the America’s Cup in ’83, for once – and his speech to the Fabian Society that he desired a policy that called for all private property to be under a central ownership and pretty much everything else under a central control – wasn’t a speech for the public.

And of course, the trilateral, multi-national, world bank, new order contracts that PM Menzies signed back in the 50s which Australia is still obliged to. A recent politician in our Upper House (in Parliament) brought up these issues and suggested we regain our sovereignty and tell the rest to get stuffed.. was unfortunately completely ignored by the population – but everyone noticed the media’s attention given to her alleged her racism (which was non-existent, but in typical media ‘style’ ask a question and write it as a quote) – she thought there should be a better system for allowing new immigrants so as to avoid giving citizenship to criminals, and drug dealers, killers, gangsters, terrorists, and genocidal ex-dictators and so on into the country.

    God bless!

Oh, Ps… I recall it being mentioned, this was around time of Berlin Wall coming down… Australia had more laws and regulations- you name it, be it a criminal legislation or a tax or whatever penalty – than Soviet Commie Russia era! And that was before they disarmed the population because of pretty much just one shooting where they convicted a person with mental issues (sound familiar?) who probably couldn’t spit on a target if you put it against his face! Has to make you wonder? Hope things good with you in the Obama Nation.

Ps… Even air-rifles, BB guns, and spud guns have been banned since the early 80s! And fireworks (of course you can have them down in the ACT).

    • And I am very grateful to catch up with you people. It’s a blessing to share with you all. Even you, Kirk, with all your youtubes! 🙂

But I am especially grateful to have been blessed with the mother who has known me all of my life. I’ve been there for her just about every day since she had a major stroke five years ago, and a couple of mild ones since – and I haven’t always been the good son – despite her strong having such a strong Christian faith and morals and values and respect and wisdom.. and rules.. and the crack of her cane feather duster (across the back of the legs when I was a kid) that she has and tried to impart in me. She’s a beautiful woman. The epitome of Christian/believer (except the Russian Orthodox bits, I’ll argue) but still a believer who wakes up every morning and the first thing she embraces is the Lord’s Word (in her, very old, New Testament For School Children book) and reads it, quietly.

I have been struggling with life for a while, and things have been very difficult lately.. and some days I am hating being around here and I’ve lost my life.. but I still love my mum. I not always see it and I forget that God has blessed me. Has all this time since I was born – me such a fool.

Today, she excitedly said, “I’m 77 today. I made it.”

      Happy Birthday, Mum Valerie!

      Thank you, LORD JESUS.

    • Peter, you sound like a survivor. Glen Beck once said survivor is the opposite of victim. I agree with him. Keep on keeping the faith and the gratitude you show is inspirational. Christ is our redeemer.

    • Aww, Peter, you touched my heart! My mom passed away when I was 33 and I never got the chance to nurse and care for her. But, my fella has a 97 year old mom living just one block away so he can go help her or run errands or just talk several times each day on top of taking care of his own house and working 12 hour shifts. He loves to do it but it is natural to tired sometimes and wonder what life would be like if he had some time for himself…….but every time he does get a friend or relative to do his duties, he fusses and worries and wonders how she is doing. 🙂

    • Hey Peter,

I definitely value your insights on Australia in history and current events! It helps considerably that you have Russian migration and orthodox background, and you’ve seen I can leverage your pointers in refining research. Such as this for Vigilant Citizen…

      from: “”

I spent a day watching some of her favorite Disney shows, from start to finish…looking for answers.

Parents. Are you watching this garbage?

I certainly had not been. Beyond the quick minute or two, I had never sat and watched an episode of A.N.T Farm with the girls. Because it is Disney. How the hell do you go from Doc McStuffins, a show that SAVED ME countless tears at the pediatrician’s office, to this absolute trash? I so very wrongly figured that a company like Disney would not be promoting cruelty, bullying and sexism in their shows for young, impressionable children. I was completely mortified as I watched.

These shows are laced with terrible social behavior. Like the scene in one, where a “nerdy” boy walks up to a pretty “popular” girl and asks her out… she threw her bowling ball and ran away screaming. *Cue audience laughter*

There were so many examples of rude, mean responses to difficult social situations for kids, followed by the character shrugging it off, recorded laughter, and the characters moving on without showing any realistic emotions. No anger, no hurt feelings. Comedy.

I was disgusted. How in the world will we teach our children to be kind and put a stop to cruel behavior in schools when THE DISNEY CHANNEL is showing these bullying behaviors followed by laughter and no emotional response??? It was clear where my daughter had gotten the impression that these kinds of conceited one liners and arrogant vanity was playful and a harmless way to get a laugh.

Just when I thought I had seen the worst, there was a scene that made blood shoot from my eyeballs. A pretentious girl, conspiring to create a room-sized walk in closet for all her makeup! and clothes! and shoes! was asked by two boys to help them with a math problem. She does.

To which they exclaim, “Thank you, you are a genius!”

      The girl is offended.

The boys hurriedly fix their ghastly mistake with, “Oh! I mean you are SO beautiful!”

      ….and she prances away, satisfied.

      Excuse me while I heave.

Shame on me for exposing my daughter to this kind of garbage.

I’m on a bit of an obelisk kick since Memorial Day. There’s a massive black obelisk at the local veteran’s memorial in McAllen, Tx. So I’m suspicious of the enemy erecting a global grid for demonic transport. I’ve expressed before that idols are like a bus stop for demons. That’s how they get their rides. And I’m perfectly happy to disrupt their networks. Interesting that the muslims are serious intent on burning down all obelisks also, pointing to the “3 Towers” in London, DC, and the Vatican. Especially the Iranians. It’s hilarious that they don’t get that the ka’aba is like a spaceport by comparison. Here’s Canberra. And I picked up a trick in this vid re. using the earth plot in google earth to check the star map congruence. Something I believe David Flynn also pointed to but I didn’t know how.

Please give your mum our cheery “Hurrahs!” (if a bit belated)

If she speaks Russian, this may bless her… “”

I’m off to look up Uluru pin pointed in google sky…….

    • Good Evening, Peter, and birthday blessings to your dear Mom.

Remember also that you are in many of our prayers, especially with all that you are going through.

    • Thanks, brothers and sister in Christ!

Hi, Nomemoleste! I’ve seen a couple of the yarns about the layout of Washing DC with its pentagrams etc.. I didn’t realise Canberra was a virtual carbon copy until viewing the video you linked above. I’ve ridden through Canberra on motorcycle a few times, many years ago… but didn’t notice layout except for being clean and tidy and cold (winter).. and boring. lol

I caught a moment of “The Right Stuff” movie shown on TV on the weekend. I’ve haven’t seen the film in entirety but scene I watched briefly featured one of the test monkeys (oops, astronauts) being in the Aussie Outback being referred to some aboriginal elders who talk with the stars/Milky Way (or something to that effect)… interesting timing you should provide that video with its arrangement in the stars above.

Thanks for the Ruskie audio bible – I’ll practice it. Mum’s Russian language is perfect. Mine is horrible, which is funny, because when I have met some of mum’s Ruskie-speaking buddies over the years, they say how well I speak Russian! And mum always tells me how poor it is, and that she wants me to spend just ten minutes a day relearning it! lol So the audio bible will be for me! thank you. I have a beautiful old (1800s) Russian Bible but it is printed in the ancient cyrillic which is slightly different from the modern cyrillic. It’s quite amazing how talented and gifted people have been to create such fine works – it’s so taken for granted that people have held such great skills (and for generations) compared to our modern abilities, innovations and technology – aah, the good ole days.

Thank you, Elaine, for your kind words. I can relate with you, and your man.. I lost my dad when I was 18, so I guess I am closer to my mum for that reason, and held for too long a fear of losing her – she is pretty much the only true friend I have in this world. I get anxious when I step away for a couple of hours and usually just stay local (within running distance of home in case I get an emergency call from mum). I haven’t been able to rely on anyone else for assistance or to give me a break. I arrange someone to stay with her if I happen to go away overnight – a mate took me away up north for a week (a year ago) but on condition that my brother would stay with my mum for the week. I came back and discovered he didn’t make it because he was ill, himself, and she didn’t leave the house at all the whole time I was away, not even the backyard to hang her laundry or check her tomato/herbs plants, in case she fell over and nobody would notice – it’s happened a couple of times (and at worst possible time for me). I was very annoyed with her.

For some time, I’ve held the belief that HELL is for regret, but lately I am regretting much. I feel helpless and hopeless because nothing ever seems to work out for me for so many years – career, music, studies, relationships, friendships. I still wake up every day and say, ‘Thank you, LORD, for a brand new day’, but as said before, I get closer to being with and knowing God but something destroys or interrupts (be it illness/injury, some other attack, unnecessary debt, heartache re ex etc etc) and I am left with another drama or disappointment that puts me further behind and seeing no future. I know it’s the Devil trying ruin my life. I appreciate everyone’s prayers, and I apologize for being so selfish – I wish God would give me a good break (and I don’t mean a broken bone – had them ruin my life before). I know we are just visitors passing through this world but I don’t know if I will be given the strength to continue like this for much longer and I am very afraid that this will be the case for another 5, 10, or 20 years – because I don’t want to have to live like this for another minute, to be honest. I’ll get up again tomorrow morning. I just hate my life. And being alone. And full of fear. I do believe I am cursed to be miserable and fail in everything but nothing has ever worked out for me – even though I have been blessed to keep living, even if just a mere existence.

  5. Fairies origins: –

In the lore of Scandinavia, Scotland, and Ireland, when God cast out the arrogant angels from heaven, they became the evil spirits that plague mankind, tormenting us and inflicting us with harm.

The ones who fell into hell and into caves and abysses became devils and death-maidens.

However, those who fell onto the earth became goblins, imps, dwarfs, thumblings, alps, noon-and-evening-ghosts, and will-o’-the-wisps.

Those who fell into the forests became the wood-spirits who live there: the hey-men, the wild-men, the forest-men, the wild-women, and the forest-women.

Finally, those who fell into the water became water spirits: water-men, mermaids, and merwomen. These angels were condemned to remain where they were, becoming the faeries of seas and rivers, the earth, and the air.

  6. As soon as I saw the ad on TV and Angelina Jolie as the lead I felt like it would be as creepy as Katy Perry’s alien video and wanted to go take a shower.

    • Yes! There are some personalities I immediately turn off just because they themselves have come to represent evil.

  7. I reckon this has always been around in Hollywood, but it seems to be a lot more blatant in the film and music industry now. Clearly the forces of evil are attacking the youngest and most impressionable minds. I always try to teach my pupils critcal thinking, and to identify manipulation. That is more important than ever, but I seem to be fighting a hopeless battle.

  8. Just saw on the news this morning two fathers on both sides of the shooting met together to grieve and fight the battle of possessing guns. Like that is even the problem…our society is crippled by this thing called sin. We need to get to the root of the problem.

Maranatha. Come and straighten this out.

  9. I saw the film Maleficent a few weeks before it was released to the theaters. I was sent two passes from the studio as a “sneak peak” promotion. The theater was jammed packed, with mostly adults strangely enough. Our instructions were to watch the film and then fill out a questionnaire as for the reason we liked or disliked the film. At the end of the film someone that was involved with the studio stood up and took a quick poll on how many enjoyed the film…..every hand went up, which didn’t surprise me from the applause it received at the end of the film.
I wasn’t in the majority that loved this film; this is supposed to be about sleeping beauty? That’s what I felt like by the 30 minute mark….The executives in charge of this film should be running a car wash not a movie studio. I’m pretty sure the costume director just went into a Party City store and bought some plastic jewelry for use in this shamefully bad film.
Through the movie the 3D “characters” all looked to me like rejects from a digital dustbin that got gathered up and reused as filler…((think 1980 Flash Gordon with Sam Jones and Max von Sydow.)
Yet again..(sigh)… Hollywood hires hacks to write, direct, and act, and then pray that the 3D studio can save another one of their beloved classics from crumbling under the weight of its own ineptitude. It was kind of like seeing an alternate universe where Disney is a company that was started by Michael Bay and everything they ever did is reduced to a shallow spectacle.
I can’t really pin down what the problem with this movie is except to say that the whole thing just doesn’t work. Half of it seems to come out of left field and it seems to go on forever, and do nothing, while still feeling rushed and poorly explained. I feel the original 1959 movie is far more superior to this film….and i have it VHS 😉
In the end I guess I’m just upset that they had the means to make this a truly great movie, but for some reason decided not to. Perhaps it would have been much different film if Tim Burton was chosen to direct it as he did with Sleepy Hollow.
Ya know, there was a time when Disney meant quality, now it’s more of a warning label. SAVE YOUR MONEY is what I think when I see the words “DISNEY” on a movie these days. I really expected more from Disney since Frozen was such a great film,

Angelina Jolie’s maleficent looks strangely failure to The Emperor Ming in Flash Gordon….the two could possibly be swapped out without a major difference in the film.

    • Didn’t Max Van Sydow also play Jesus in the Greatest Story Ever Told? Much like William Dafoe planed Jesus in the Last Temptation(which I didn’t see) and he played the devil in a car commercial. Dafoe even wore a masonic ring in the commercial.

I think the elites work on a subliminal level with the casting.

    • The hail Ming video looks like an opening ceremony to a Raelian love fest at the valley of the dawn.

      Speak of the devil… JUNE 02, 2014
Raelians to ask feds for Canadian embassy
Representatives from the International Raelian Movement in Canada plan to official file paperwork this week to ask the federal government for land for the Embassy of Elohim.

Hey Linda, hide the kids and the possums the Raelians are a comin…

    • Azureceu, I’ll have to see what happens with this! (We have no kids, though. Probably just as well. Just a cat, and now a missing possum.)

    • Azureceu, that is good news! Hope Dan doesn’t change his mind and try to keep him. Thanks for the tip, y’all!

    • I think what we can take from all this is, if you see someone with extreme arches on their eyebrows, there is a good chance your are dealing with someone pure evil.

    • Azureceu ….. Raelians, and previously even discussion of a ZOMBIE invasion!

Canada seems to be looked upon as a safe haven for many. Look what our Parliament was discussing last year …..

    • Linda,
What a pity Zombies make great hockey players.
Nevertheless, It is good to see the Canadian Parliament become proactive.

    • Don’t do it Rose, it’s not a good look. I had an unfortunate grilling accident awhile back; I not only lost my eyelashes but my eyebrows as well. That summer folks around town asked if I was playing Yul Brynner’s role in King and I that was playing at a local community theater.

  10. Subliminal and direct manipulation of the masses continues to ramp up towards a dark end, not too far off.

Obviously tech-interconnectedness is a big aid to all of it, too, and the fact there is a mass addiction to entertainment, which is enabled by the barage of ads via tech devices, street signs, and TV. (Look at the HUGE multi-million $$$ box office profits, too. How many of those spending their money on so much entertainment may be on welfare of some kind, or just earn a very low wage, I always wonder?)

The media heads, advertisers, music and entertainment world know how to make full use of it all. And needless to say, governments and educational institutions do, too. Look at what is being promoted from the university level lately ……….

NATIONAL POST ARTICLE: “The end of gender? North American society may be ready for more shades in between male and female”

    (excerpt) …

“….Karleen Pendleton Jiménez, a professor of education at Trent University ….asked rural students in Grades 4-12 for their experiences with gender, and their responses were sometimes cute — “people say I have girl knees,” one child replied — and other times sad (“I have wanted to wear a dress around town but got laughed at too hard and too much.”) Children are often prevented from doing things they like because of their gender, she found — it can be constraining all around.”

    • In other words embrace the judgement you are under instead of repenting.

Meanwhile God turns up the heat…

And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.
      Revelation 16:9

I can’t remember which but one of these videos lightly touched on God’s judgments..Anyway interesting discussion.

      Forum on the Tribulation
Forum on the Book of Revelation

    • Yes, easier to embrace judgement instead of repenting, and it’s being made so much easier all the time!

Thank you, Azureceu, I’ll have a look at those 2 videos over the next couple of days.

Re: “the post selfie generation” jpg

In that horrible Day, that is exactly what people will probably be doing!

Thank God we’ll be long gone. (Though we may see all of it from a heavenly balcony.)

  11. We saw Maleficent Saturday. My hubby and I saw lots of parallels with the Luciferian “myth” of Lucifer being good and God the creator being the bad guy. Had a great talk with our 12-year-old on the way home about it and we were thrilled that she’d already discerned it for herself, how the villain was re-cast as a hero and how our crazy topsy turvey world is promoting sin as “good.”

  12. Thanks everyone for your thoughtful replies to my review. There have been over 10,000 hits to that review and the response has been mostly positive, although I’m receiving a fair amount of blow back . The review is being shared on a variety of atheist and secularist sites and is being used to mock Christians. Interestingly, I’ve had a fair number of self proclaimed Satanists come forward and articulate that my review is spot on and that they believe this film tells “their story” so, I rest my case.

Thanks to my dear friend L.A. for sharing this review with his audience.

    • “a fair amount of blow back”

Some folks believe that they can baptize aliens. (I bet they never tried to ride a bull before.)

    • “I’ve had a fair number of self proclaimed Satanists come forward and articulate that my review is spot on and that they believe this film tells “their story” so, I rest my case.”

Natalina, an interesting confirmation of what is going on.

    • I thought it was a very powerful review. Your opinions on the film were upfront and direct. Some “spoiler alerts” would have been nice for those that haven’t seen it yet though…When writing a review on films/movies its kind of a faux pas to reveal plot points. It just a common courtesy amongst cinephiles.

  13. L.A. ,

I have a better understanding of what you mean by pushing back now…

thank you for sharing Natalina’s review she has great insight.

I think the last good Hollywood movie I watched was “Shawshank Redemption” or “Dances with Wolves”.

I don’t feel like Hollywood is forcing their agenda down my throat. I do not even watch TV anymore or the movies.

    It’s all trash.

There was a day when TV & movies vied for my time instead of studying the bible.

Now studying the bible is far better than watching any Hollywood movie.

We aren’t in the day where we had to pick from 3 channels to watch or wait for the weekend to drive 20 or 30 miles to see the latest movie.

A day when we had no access to the internet.

There are lots of sources on the internet to watch videos & movies instead of Hollywood.

Want to fight back, help by bringing this Genesis 3D Movie to the spotlight..

  14. These are the movies our kids should be watching.. “push back” and promote this type of entertainment.

I have watched all of these with my 10 year old daughter and got alot of them myself..

the “Kids’ Ten Commandments” animated mini-movie series. State-of-the-art animation, original music, and great stories make this fun-loving series entertaining and educational.

    • Girl, 12, stabbed 19 times
Police: Friends were inspired by horror stories

Two 12-year-old girls are accused of luring a friend of the same age into a wooded area near Milwaukee before stabbing the victim 19 times and leaving her.

This is what happens when you let Hollywood invade and take over your home without supervision. I watch every piece of media that makes its way into my home….I have surprise shake downs from time to time , turning over furniture, beds, looking for any and all contraband related media products and if found are destroyed on the spot. The problem we have today is, there are far too many parents that want to be their kid’s best friend…., they want to be that cool mom or dad that lets their kids do whatever they want whenever they want. . Note to these parents, your son or daughter has enough friends they don’t need you to fill that role. They need guidance and someone strong enough to set a good example, not someone to go out drinking with and watching R rated moves.

    • Pre-teen girls accused of stabbing slumber party friend 19 times to please mythological creature

  15. Here is another opportunity to “push back” and help promote an newly released biblical film..

This is from an email I received.

    Dear Exodus Conspiracy Followers,

We thank you for your patience during this long journey.

The film has been greatly expanded and retitled “Patterns of Evidence: The Exodus.”

The recently finished film is now presented in a beautiful high definition format and is playing in film festivals across the country, where it is winning awards!

  16. O Rose, Natalina has a kitteh in her logo…
    – I cracked up on your kitteh peacemaker yesterday
    – “”

As for khipu re: Nazca Lines, the idea is that khipu is knot language, so the knot patterns carry the information.
    – any line, say drawn on paper, which is crossed by another line could be called a knot
    – hence the Nazca lines are full of long lines crossed back and forth many times
    – much like khipu … long cord many knots
    – khipu numerics have been decoded
    – there’s another line of research that points to knots as symbol codes also

Previously, I’d pointed to the Nazca lines as a global navigation map…
    – those who’ve seen maritime maps know how full of data they are
    – regarding especially depths … avoiding shallows and rocks
    – I suspect that the Nazca lines are a mix of names, depths, and distances
    – proving that is a matter of correcting “geekglyphs” kml/kmz data in a GIS package
    – to “rubber sheet it” to a sparse few key points.
    – I can see the global projection is a bit skew, a common problem in GIS mapping
    – then it might be possible to match … numeric khipu to some similar distance or depth data on the globe
    – Noah’s Flood notwithstanding 🙂

    • Also loved the ‘peace keeper kitteh’ yesterday too Rose,
He brought this ‘Kewl Kitteh’ to mind. Maybe he’s possibly be one of the grand-kittens to the peacemaker one….

    • Nome, I knew Natalina to be a woman of extraordinary taste, and she’s proven it with the little feline. Thank you for pointing that out. (I hoped you’d like the peace cat. I’m glad you did.)

Bruce! Love it! My inlaws aren’t so crazy about it, though. . .

    • Nome, do you have the translation for these lines? When you say “depths,” what do you mean? Water depths? This would be incredible because of the altitude of the Nazca lines. What would that say about the time in which they were written?

      Absolutely fascinating.

    • However, wasn’t it David Flynn who produced a video about Teotihuacan – that it once was a port, and now it sits thousands of feet up in the Andes. The time of Peleg must have been turbulent, to say the least.

  17. We can all rest easy now…”Joel Osteen gets his own SiriusXM channel”

(AP) – Joel Osteen is getting his own channel on SiriusXM satellite radio, which will air his sermon at Yankee Stadium this Saturday live nationally.

Osteen, who preaches to 40,000 people each week at his Lakewood megachurch, already shows his messages on the Trinity religious TV network and other television stations across the country. The new SiriusXM channel will feature live call-in shows hosted by Osteen and his wife, fellow Lakewood pastor Victoria Osteen, along with rebroadcasts of Osteen’s past sermons.

“It’s another way to get our message out,” Osteen said.

He said SiriusXM approached him about five years ago with the idea but the time wasn’t right.<—–(read money wasnt right)

"Five years ago we were still growing," said Osteen, who studied television and radio at Oral Roberts University. "I didn't think we could put the time and energy into it that we can now. We're much more established and have a bigger library. It feels really right now."

  18. “”

Last month, the federal government opened an emergency operations center at a border headquarters in South Texas to help coordinate the efforts and the Office of Refugee Resettlement, a division of the Health and Human Services Department, turned to the Defense Department for the second time since 2012 to help house children in barracks at Lackland Air Force Base near San Antonio.

Mark Greenberg, an assistant secretary at the Health and Human Services Department, said about 1,000 children were being housed at the Texas base and as many as 600 others could soon be housed at a U.S. Navy base in Southern California.

    FEMA re-education camps?

How can more taxes solve a problem
    – caused by lax regulations on the borders
    – with the taxes already misused?

    • Wake up Christian. There’s nothing this world’s governments can fix. They’re part of the enemy angel system. The wide way, (majority rule / mob rule), leads to destruction. Come out from their ways.

That should be more than apparent to everyone now. Sin, (anyway but God’s way), is their civil right. Their black swan song is “I did it my way.”

And darkest evil is now their “out-of-the-closet and in-your-face” choice. The tender mercies of the wicked are cruel. For those that call evil good and good evil — evil shall never leave them. Such is the fruit of “the knowledge of good and evil.” And their kids cartoons enshrine maleficent darkness. To them is reserved the mists of darkness forever. See the writings of Jude and Peter.

But we have a kingdom not of this world. And our names are written in heaven. Who look to Christ (Jesus of Nazareth, Yeshua Messiah) as our Savior. He has overcome this world.

“To the only wise God, our Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and forever, Amen.”
