So you wanna play with magic

‘Cause I’m comin’ at you like a dark horse

Like Jeffrey Dahmer

A few months ago I received a post from someone who was up and coming in the music industry.  This person contacted me because they were being “forced” to accept an occult paradigm.  This person told me of the blatant satanic worship that has become the heart and soul of the music industry.  While some of us may find that hard to believe all one need do is look at the spectacle last Sunday night that was the Grammy’s.  I could only watch about 30 seconds of the Katy Perry video—without the sound on—before turning it off and going straight into prayer.  In my opinion she was conjuring and those who are in the know, those behind the scenes, including the TV censors, knew what was going on.  It was the Worship of the Fallen One.

A few weeks ago I posted an article on Perry where she made it very clear she is no longer a Christian.  Here’s the link:

MadonaaWe have crossed into a land that for many is unfamiliar territory and as the Bible says we are strangers here, perhaps more than any other time in history.  It is a land where gays marry in parades, and on the nationally watched television shows like the Grammy’s.  It is a land where occult performances are now pushed in our faces like the 2012 Super Bowl half-time performance and the recent spectacle with Perry.

Like Nicki Minaj, Perry is sold out to what I would call dark, occult forces.  Look at the picture below. It could have come out of The Exorcist and this was shown on the Grammy’s in 2012.  Nicki MinajPerry’s performance was deliberate and carefully crafted, just like her ET video was a few years ago.  I remember when I first posted it I got feedback from folks trying to convince me she was a Christian.  Perry is promulgating her world view, which is plainly occult and demonic in nature.  Like Minaj and Madonna and others, they all seem to give allegiance and worship to The Fallen One.

Folks, it’s time to wake up and realize we are so far down the satanic agenda that unless the church unites and begins to pray against this, we are doomed.

In closing todays post.  What will it take to wake up the sleeping church that for the most part hides behind it’s four walls and denominational sacred cows?  What will it take for the people to rise up and say enough is enough?  When I spoke on New Years Eve at Calvary Chapel Oceanside, I discussed the gay marriage agenda and the “marriage” taking place during the Rose parade, and the people responded with thunderous applause.  Marriage is between one man and one woman and no matter how many times  you show me two men, or two woman kissing at the altar you will never convince me otherwise!

I believe many Americans are sick and tired of the in your face satanic agenda that was displayed openly at the Grammy’s.  I can only speak for myself, but I am appalled and sickened at what is on TV.  Truly I am a stranger in a strange land.

  1. It’s amazing how blind the world is. I posted a similar comment on my FB page two days ago regarding the Grammy’s “gay on parade, Satan on parade”) agenda. My liberal friends assailed me!

    • It’s not just what you do…
      — but also what you let dwell in your heart
      — that damns you to hell

      Matthew 5 (Jesus / Yeshua says…)

27 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time,
      — Thou shalt not commit adultery:
28 But I say unto you,
      — That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her
hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

29 And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee:
      — for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish,
      — and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.
30 And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee:
      — for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish,
      — and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.

  2. Amen! Love this post and pray for you to keep strength as you stand UP for what is just, pure, and true!! Godspeed LA!

  3. c´mon man. witchcraft !!? Do you think that you´ve ever seen witchcraft practices ? do you believe that a stupid choreography relates to witchcraft ? They do try to, yes. it´s all for the show. Those kinds of women and men that say that relate to Satan are just showing off. Thy are just a bunch of ignorant idiots that show off to a bigger bunch of show offs that would never kill a living chicken. when you perform a witchcraft work, you almost cannot take the pressure and it takes people dumb and full of courage and plain idiot. For sure their shows do not relate at all, with witchcraft. For the nature of it, witchcraft is never done in public.

    • Hmmmm, then I wonder what was on for the show the weeks before the Aztecs began cutting out beating hearts or Christians were thrown to the lions…….were folks in the audience saying things like they “are just showing off. Thy are just a bunch of ignorant idiots that show off to a bigger bunch of show offs that would never kill a living chicken.”?

    • I’ve seen many comments around the internet trying to diminish this onstage ritual as if there is nothing here to see. Well for what its worth we all saw it and the performance was done as a significant visual occultic act. Welcome to Babylon.

What is the point in arguing over vocabulary which has nothing at all to do with it?
      It’s all psychobabble to me.

Kinky vs. Perverted (from the Poultry farm)

Kinky is when you use a feather. Perverted is when you use the whole chicken.

    • Friends and Family — that also expose the issue — of mass mind control

      Russ Dizdar…

    • Fine. Lets say its not a ‘real’ working, for the sake of your objection. Will you deny that its training- its conditioning the masses of people to think such things are normal and fun?

  4. You are a man that seeks knowledge, why don´t you try to see a real witchcraft ritual ? Why don´t you try to perform one, and then you will know the difference between the real thing and just a crappy spetacle. And I believe that it would be a great Watchers 8 or 9. And while you are on South America, you search for it because those are the countries leaeders on witchcraft

    • It seems to me that anything that does not Glorify our Lord and Holy God is witchcraft ; as it is evokes / invokes spiritual essence that is outside of the sanctity of God,
Here is a test for you; if what ever you do does not Glorify Yeshua, it is not of him, so by definition it is witchcraft .
      Praise our Lord,
      Blessings to all,

    • I think you’re overlooking the power of symbolism. That’s what “media” is all about, from the written to the spoken to the visual. Yes, a literal witch’s ceremony is one thing. But an artist can accomplish just as much (meaning, presumably, “selling” the concept to an audience) by depicting only certain salient aspects.
Starting from Genesis onward, there’s been a push-pull battle between darkness and light. Why God set things up like that I don’t know. But for us as believers, it means we have to be “aware” of the battle. That means second by second, minute by minute, hour by hour.

    • Revelation 3:15-16

15 “‘I know your works: you are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were either cold or hot! 16 So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth.

MR REAL- As children of god we can’t be lukewarm. You’re either hot or cold. In gods camp or with satan. . We can’t claim to love god and and embrace any kind of evil, it’s like saying you ” It’s like saying I won’t drink the whole bottle of poison but you will settle for a drop. Sorry it just doesn’t work that way , poison is poison….

      Isaiah 47:8-14
      English Standard Version (ESV)
8 Now therefore hear this, you lover of pleasures,
      who sit securely,
      who say in your heart,
      “I am, and there is no one besides me;
I shall not sit as a widow
or know the loss of children”:
9 These two things shall come to you
      in a moment, in one day;
the loss of children and widowhood
shall come upon you in full measure,
in spite of your many sorceries
and the great power of your enchantments.
10 You felt secure in your wickedness,
      you said, “No one sees me”;
your wisdom and your knowledge led you astray,
and you said in your heart,
“I am, and there is no one besides me.”
11 But evil shall come upon you,
      which you will not know how to charm away;
      disaster shall fall upon you,
      for which you will not be able to atone;
and ruin shall come upon you suddenly,
      of which you know nothing.
12 Stand fast in your enchantments
      and your many sorceries,
      with which you have labored from your youth;
      perhaps you may be able to succeed;
      perhaps you may inspire terror.
      13 You are wearied with your many counsels;
let them stand forth and save you,
      those who divide the heavens,
      who gaze at the stars,
who at the new moons make known
      what shall come upon you.
      14 Behold, they are like stubble;
      the fire consumes them;
      they cannot deliver themselves
from the power of the flame.
No coal for warming oneself is this,
      no fire to sit before!

    • You’re making a difference LA…when people try to water down your point of view, ie the Word, they start appearing to dissuade others to their fruitless view. You have courage to stand up to it resulting in a whiplash against evil. Continue to stay strong in the Word, Yeshua!

    • …does one need to go to the sewer to find out if it stinks?

No need to see a real witchcraft ritual, and DEFINITELY no need to try and perform one…
…I can’t believe you suggested that to a Christian. ( a REAL one, not a make believe one)

*helpful hint: before suggesting what Christians should and shouldn’t do, maybe actually find out what we REALLY believe. You might be surprisingly enlightened with your discoveries

  5. Hello L.A, and friends.

Satanic pop images/videos for the teenagers and youth, and demonic cartoon characters for the little ones – sun up through sun down.

**Is there a way I can provide my skype/hotmail to Matt and Nomemoloste (without publicizing my address in the comments here)”? I’d be happy to correspond with others, too, but I’d rather avoid printing my details here (I know I’ve shared some personal info now and then ;-)) as there may be some not-so-friendly entities that make visits here that may abuse the info.

Matt recently mentioned of the satanic influence/cursing brought on by certain music and its related material (album covers/posters/artwork etc) being present in the household. As some may know, I am a keen musician, myself, though more for personal joy and occupation (as in, to pass the time – not professionally).

I’ve noticed, especially in the last ten years or so, how death/heavy metal bands are so heavily featured and promoted in guitar magazines – from the music transcription to the interview with band and stylized photoshoot (often featuring images of blood and other occult images and obsessions with death).

From the time I began learning guitar (early 1990s) I would collect the various guitar magazine publications every month as they would feature transcriptions of songs and useful guitar music theory. I would purchase one if it featured a transcription of an old classic song that I heard from my brother or sister’s album collection when I was a young boy (Dark Side of the Moon sounded great on the new quadrophonic dolby stereo that dad bought when I was a kid. Come to think of it, I don’t recall watching much TV as the stereo was constantly on – from mum and dads classical/jazz/russian folk/church music to brother and sisters rock/reggae/blues/pop. And the music today is blatantly crap compared to the good old rock n roll of the 60s 70s, 80s. I wasn’t much for lyrics – a lot sounded like screaming to me but held a certain melody that you could hum or whistle along to – not sure how to hum or whistle along to cRap and GaGa when strolling down the street. Not that I would anyway… because its crap. And demonic.

I don’t watch or listen to very much new stuff these days, except only for objective interest re exposure of the occult/satanic influence as investigated by certain Christian pastors, the occasional mention on here by L.A. and the other website (Vigilant Citizen) that reveals the esotericism/subliminals featured in so much pop culture today – from advertising to fashion to movies to music (and kids cartoons). And these days as soon as I may happen to come across a music video on the idiot box I just think ‘how satanic that is’.

I’ll stick to whistling the old Andy Griffith Show theme as I stroll down the street. Or maybe the theme from Kolchak: The NIght Stalker.

    • I’m curious your opinion? In music, Do you think dark came through starting with Elvis or the Beatles?…The beatles brought all the eastern religion, the maharishi influence over here in the 60’s..? In Marzullis book the cosmic chess match , he humbly takes accountability for his era somewhat opening the flood gates of hell into pop music ands social culture. Not his exact words, but I agree with him. Then of course we have the queen of pop Madonna who penetrated the 80’s and continues to lead into today..

    • Hello, Godshelp74.

When I have attended a church be it a Baptist (once) or non-denominational and their may be a band or just a guitarist or pianist playing to support hymns for the flock to sing I’ve noticed that most hymns and songs – and it didn’t matter how enthusiastically or loudly the patrons sang (I certainly didn’t always sing loud being unfamiliar with words and the song, although they were usually provided on a screen for all to see) or how poorly or tone-deaf some people were when it came to singing along, you could feel the emotion in both the words and music and singing which was always an uplifting, joyful experience. The music arrangements were predominantly major chords – and you can feel that the tone resonates a more comfortable and happy spirit or feeling in one’s being. As with Gospel music – it’s emotive and lively and enjoyable. Singing high praise to the Lord and rejoicing should be uplifting. As a child, I was taken to Russian Orthodox Church services which featured a choir… but it sounded miserable (to me) most of the time, but there were occasions when it was very ‘lively’. But mostly sombre. At least when I compare it to a Gospel Choir who sing and clap and dance and raise their arms. It’s joyful, most of the time.

Now compared to say hard rock, for example, “Rock n Roll” by Led Zeppelin or even “Rock n Roll Music” by the Beatles… as fun as it was or is to listen to, and it gives that impression (of fun and exciting), the combination of minor chords (which most rock and roll is played in) and then the droning of the rhythm and percussion section (bass and drums) provides the tone and syncopation that takes over the whole physical and mind and heartbeat – and it’s quite difficult to listen to it and remain as stiff as a statue in the comfort of a loungechair. You’ll tap your toes, clap along, maybe yell (sing) along with it. Like John Lennon sings… “it’s got a backbeat you can’t lose it.” Not exactly relaxing and calming for mind and body. But also with the minor chords, you can feel in the tone that it even sounds a downer (for want of better words) but somehow in combination and with the repetitiveness and drone of the rhythm and drums it captivates. As Nigel Tufnel says in a scene from Spinal Tap where he plays piano for a moment and strikes a minor chord, “D minor – my favourite chord”. You can sense the depressing tone of the sound of the Dm chord. And sure, go to a venue, watch a live band, maximum volume, and other influences (that you may find at a pub, for example, like booze and people who might take other false props such as dope or whatever).. and people let loose and jump around and dance like their having fits and shake their heads and yell along. It get’s robotic yet chaotic. Not exactly Skip To My Lou co-ordinated steps.

I can remember when I was younger, a teenager, the neighbours complaining, often, because I would turn up the music so loud – and for some reason it sounded better that way to me – not so much to the neigbhbours and they had kids who I probably borrowed the record off of sometimes! Probably more so with my brother who would play his electric guitar in the garage with his friends and Bob Marley stuff. So while mum and dad were out… up went the volume to 11. Rebellious? Disrespectful? Care-free? Probably, not that I would have known it just by myself at the time. Mum and Dad didn’t need to play their stuff at full volume, but still enjoyed it.

I don’t know if you read or play any instruments, but if you play a major chord and compare with a minor chord you can sense and hear the difference – one happy sounding, the other depressing.

Now to actually answer your question….

Yes, I do believe that some performers, and with the further development of home stereos and quadraphonic speakers and equalizers (as a opposed to a manual gramaphone with it’s limitations of audio output) and record albums and singles more widely available to all who could afford them, were produced and deliberately placed out there in an effort to cause rebellion. Elvis, The Beatles, Hendrix were suddenly major sensations, featured on tv and radio and movies, although they themselves may have been unaware of how they were being used for both a psychological and spiritual impact on society. Elvis could sing – no doubt – but I don’t believe he actually wrote one song.

One of the drummers from the Grateful Dead, a band well known for their very long performances which featured rhythms and tunes that were sometimes made up on the spot that could go almost endlessly while they were on stage, understood and studied the psychology of music and knew how to influence with it spiritually. Except it was not to glorify the Holy Spirit. He (sorry, I can’t think of his name right now) exercised it with his band to mass hypnotize the audience. And combined with the psychotropic pharmaceuticals becoming more common (again) with the younger generation who would go to those performances, they assisted in having a greater effect in combination with the music. You can see, also, how people idolized these performers. And the rebelliousness that they embraced. Not to mention aiding in dismantling a stable ordered community or society when kids before used to honour the parents and respected them and their neighbours and assisted by the era at the time with war in South-East Asia, assassinations of RFK and MLK, which created a distrust of and disrespect to authority such as the government and parents. The method, albeit more refined and improved nowadays, is still in use and has an even stronger impact, today, whether it’s featured on the stage or in a music video or off the recording (CD/album/radio broadcast).

Not to say that it is anything totally brand new, either.. but with the 20th century and technology of radios and stereos that receive broadcasts that can reach out to the masses and all over the globe (now, at the same time – remember LiveAid? Elton and everyone saying please give generously – those poor people suffering were soon forgotten about). People back in Mozart, Beethoven or Tchaikovsky’s day had to go to a live show to watch and hear the symphony perform. And not all their music was to glorify the Lord. ‘Ode to Joy’ for example – may be considered a hymn by some, but not for God’s sake, and it is a powerful piece of music.

Satan is labelled as the prince of the power of the air (Ephesians 2:2). Music and video is transmitted via the airwaves. Along with the mysterious UFOs that are often discussed here at L.A’s.

For a little while now, I have been questioning myself about music, on a personal level, as I do enjoy playing instruments and even more fun when I have jam with others in my loungeroom with all the guitars and drums etc and we turn up the Rock n Roll (just for our own pleasure)… I believe time is short and I need and want to turn back to God 100% and am wondering whether to just get rid of all the guitar magazines, and guitars and drums and records and CDs that I have accumulated over the years.. because of what I now know and understand. And believe. I’ve been aware of it for some time now.. but I feel like the young man in Mark 9:50 whom ran and knelt before Jesus and asked, “Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?”

I’ve been ripped off and lost thousands of dollars worth of equipment. Then I’ve been battered and broken and unable to enjoy the gift of music (playing instruments) which was the most important thing to me (at the time) and told that I would never be able to play again (re injuries sustained) which was heartbreaking as I desired to be a professional musician. A few years later, I was miraculously healed and had hands back to play music again.. but I’m playing it for my own pleasure and God, I think, would be pleased that I do play now and then.. but He wouldn’t be pleased with the selection I play now and then.

Fortunately, I’m not into drugs/narcotics. I like to go watch a live band now and then at the local – but more often find myself standing outside with ‘friends’ while they boast and talk proudly and unashamedly and disrespectfully and drink and smoke, so I don’t end up watching talented musicians perform on the stage. And I am the only believer in the Bible and The Living Creator and Messiah and Saviour among these people. But the music is a type of addiction for me ever since I mastered Fur Elise on the piano as a teenager and heard Pink Floyd on dad’s old quadraphonic stereo.

Now, I’d appreciate to hear from you and others here about this matter and what I am to do. Because I feel like the young man whom Jesus told to sell all his things and give to the poor, to take up the cross, and hollow Him. And the man was sad at that saying because he had great possessions.

I know I’ve answered that question myself now. But I still don’t know how to go about it or what to do.

    • Peter, it makes me sad to think of you getting rid of your musical instruments, based on the example of the young wealthy man in the Bible story you noted. That young man came before Christ and asked what HE- the young man- had to do to be saved. He wanted self-righteousness. He stood before his Savior and listed what he himself had achieved. The moral of the story isn’t that we won’t be saved if we don’t shed ourselves of everything. The point of the story is that the young man could not save himself. He needed Christ- and his mind was on what HE was supposed to do to achieve it on his own merit. God told him one more self-work, one He knew he wouldn’t be able to do- and the young man turned away downcast, instead of asking his God for salvation. That is truly sad.

God gave you the ability to play instruments, and didn’t enjoin anyone in the Bible to play only Christian music. Its Christian liberty and the Holy Spirit in you, a born-again Christian, that determines what you, Peter, should get engaged in. Would a jam session of Pink Floyd lead ME astray? Nope. Would it you? Would it make you hunger for standing around outside bars, engaging with people full of empty, boastful and idle talk? I don’t know. That’s for you to confess and wrestle with. Maybe its just a simple human need for companionship that leads you out for that kind of fellowship, and catching a bit of live music isn’t the real heart of it. I can’t answer these things for you. I just throw these thoughts up in the air.

    • Hello, Stonedragon.

I give thanks to the LORD for your reply. It, too, makes me sad to think of getting rid of the instruments – and it would probably make some others sad if I did so, too, especially my dear old mum I know she enjoys when I play, and some tunes in particular). Thank you for clarifying that bible story to me. I now understand it fully.

And I know in my heart and mind that I do want to be saved and that I need Christ and can only receive salvation through Him. And that I must repent.

It’s troubled me more recently, having learned some things about some of the musicians (according to some pastors). But whenever I’ve played a song on whichever instrument and with whomever, its just been for the joy of playing… I don’t take any instruction or change my beliefs or views from whatever song I played by Led Zep or whoever. I do believe music is a gift that God has provided.

And you are spot on, also, about the simple human need for companionship. Which is ironic, because I would be able to enjoy the music performance be it if I went by myself (usually always the case) or with friends or family but this is where I met most of the people I now know – except more often than not I am now standing outside in the beer garden with these people instead of inside watching the band. I have been wanting interaction with others as I do spend a lot of time on my own (especially now that I have parted company with a woman I had hoped to marry one day), and over the last seven or eight years have made a few friends (in the neighbourhood but mainly congregating at the local) and they know I’m a believer or “religious”. So I visit them at the local once every couple of weeks and other special occasions like birthdays or whatever, sometimes I take more interest in the band. Only occasionally some may visit me at my house. And I don’t visit theirs unless I am invited. Sadly, none of them believe in God.

I haven’t been able to find a church or a group of Christians to share fellowship with on a regular basis because of having seen and heard some things which I don’t agree with and that I think are unbiblical. So I read and study the Word on my own, and by visiting here at L.A’s and other sources via the internet and literature.

The incident of being assaulted and being injured was how I came to Christ. It turned out to be a great blessing.

Thank you for helping me to understand, and helping me know what to do now. God bless you, mate. 🙂

    • Elvis and the Beatles are mere childs play….my fall came from bands such as Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Rainbow, and last but certainly not least Black Sabbath… name just a few. What started out as an seemingly innocent hand me down album from someone when I was around 10 yrs old sent me into a spiral of darkness and oppression all through my teen years to the point where evil spirits manifested themselves to me.
All this going on in today’s music in not new, only more in your face and out in the open but it’s nothing new.

    • Hey Peter, I couldn’t help but relate to you through your post. I too am a music lover, have been all my life. Not a musician, just someone who is moved by many styles of music. I have always had a deep passion for music. I feel it deeply and find that a lot of my memories are tied into whatever I was playing or listening to at the time. I just wanted to address a couple of things that you brought up if I may. First off, I believe deeply that although satan is the god of this fallen world, the gift of music was given to man by God Almighty. Music moves the soul, there’s a mystery in it. I think it mirrors the creativity of a loving God. Even the artists who choose to glorify satan through their gift fail to see where it originates. If you can play an instrument and bring joy to someone through it my friend, please don’t give it up. I’ve been guilty in my own life of making music an idol at times, which is when I feel the Father is not pleased. We tend to do that with things we love though. We elevate them to a status only reserved for our Lord. I have to keep myself in check. Sometimes I have to withdraw from spending too much time being “distracted” by something that brings me peace, pleasure, enjoyment. Let’s face it. It’s a dark world, and getting darker. Music brings relaxation, or a temporary escape from everything, just for a fleeting moment, and that’s fine. But God is the giver of music. He’s the giver of life. He is the source of all that we need.

I’m not one who only listens to “Christian” music. While that may be fine for some folks, I’m not judging ( I believe each person should be led by the Holy Spirit in that area), I feel there’s a lot of good music being made, and a lot of times better music being made by nonbelievers. There are some exceptions. I love the music made by Christian artists from the late 70’s up until the mid nineties or so by such artists as: The Choir, Adam Again (perhaps my favorite band, their brilliant lyricist and singer went home to be with the lord in 2000…check out “Dig” from 1992), the 77’s (blues rock, pop, jams…should have hit it big), Daniel Amos (just put out an AMAZING record last year called “Dig Here Said The Angel”….I highly recommend you seek this album out…very inspiring and this band should be a household name…such insightful musings on life and death, grace and mercy. These guys have been around since the mid ’70s), Wovenhand (dark Appalachian, Old Testament apocalyptic sounds..banjos, drums, and that voice), The Violet Burning (their album “Strength” from 1992 just puts to shame modern praise and worship music. And the thing is, it wasn’t created as a “praise and worship” record, but born out of heartbreak, loss, and weakness, even has a cover of Eleanor Rigby by the Beatles….but alas, it remains unknown to the majority of folks. I challenge anyone reading to seek out this album and see if it doesn’t change your life. These songs bleed a love and NEED for Jesus. “Song of the Harlot” breaks my heart….”There is No One Like You” moves me to tears as well.) There are so many other Christian artists that I love, but it seems these days I just can’t take the “popular” CCM bands…the endless fake cheerleading, the fake smiles. If you listened to “Christian” radio, you would think these people never had any problems, everything’s struggles, no pain, and thus, no honesty. That’s why all these bands I just mentioned never attained much popularity aside from people like myself and whoever I could persuade to bend an ear. I think they were a threat because they didn’t “sell out” and play nice…they didn’t reduce Jesus to some shiny happy catchphrase. They bore their souls, warts and all. They wear their humanity and to quote one of my favorite artists from this group, Michael Knott, from his song Shaded Pain:

“What about the love we never find
Cut by the body forced to run and hide
What about the human, the human I am inside
How can we be forgiven if we don’t live our lives
We throw off the shackles and then we wear the chains
      shaded pain
we find out who we are and then we lose our names
      shaded pain.”

This type of honesty was unheard of at the time this album Shaded Pain was released in 1987. It didn’t win any Dove Awards (what a joke), they didn’t tour with Sandi Patti or Amy Grant either (No offense). Music like this to me isn’t being made by Christians today. The church as a whole is afraid of being themselves I think when it comes to creativity. Which astounds me! Christians should be making the most innovative, trailblazing music out there, but they’re not. Not these days at least. Save for a very select few. I’m sorry this is so lengthy, my love for music is spilling out here. But most of all, I want to encourage you my brother to cherish any talent that God has given you. We all need to be better stewards with our time, especially in these last days, but in saying that… music has it’s place. David knew this as well and used his talent with the harp to soothe the soul…and also advocated making a holy racket with the crashing of symbols, stringed instruments as well!…it all has it’s place.

I also feel like a stranger in a strange land. I don’t fit in with most of my friends at this point in my life. I have this disconnect when it comes to the world today. The more of this life I see, the more I realize this world isn’t my home. There’s not a lot of people I can relate to anymore. I haven’t posted here as often as I maybe should, but have read the comments for a few years now. I appreciate this little corner of the internet where we can come together to share our thoughts and feelings on many things. Thanks to L.A. for the always sobering thoughts and insight and for allowing this forum.

  6. Part Two “”

    • That date above is when the schmita year will occur just as it did when 9-11 and the financial collapse of 2008 rolled around. The pattern will repeat in the next Schmita year of 2015 september (Sorry if I’m only repeating what he just said – I haven’t watched the video yet as I type this but I have seen it before.) But one thought occurs to me. With the lunar and solar eclipses occurring at the same time, I can’t help but think that the thing that will cause this global financial collapse will be the rapture. This could be what triggers the whole thing. If millions disappear in this country, the economy will indeed be toast. So goes America, so goes the world.

  7. Ready to Battle L.A.!!! found a sound church/ back on the stage/ shoveling and salting snow/ ‘about the word Earth’ song soon done to go along with that UFO ‘Under Full Observation’ one 🙂 here’s a new piece…

    ‘the Violent Christian’

the realms of Heaven are swiftly moving
pouring down on mankind actually forcing
obedience humility and to be forgiving
ask what’s our part we be submitting
don’t throw it away the clock is ticking
running outta time are you listening
or missing what I’m fervently telling
this isn’t our Earth that we’re dwelling

the tongue look like an edge sword that’s double
even the word is in sword with the split right down the middle
the tongue look like an edge sword that’s double
even the word is in sword with the split right down the middle

pack of wolves they come in a pack
know why Ha it’s courage they lack

Jesus ohhh Jesus endured that violence
on the cross was victorious ahhh reverence
crushed that serpents head dead with LOVE
then sent the Holy Spirit down from above
to fit right in a human snug like a glove
even though were filthy and undeserving of
speaking of LOVE did you know a villain
or dictator can have it for his children

the tongue look like an edge sword that’s double
even the word is in sword with the split right down the middle
the tongue look like an edge sword that’s double
even the word is in sword with the split right down the middle

    LOVE and AMEN

  8. And in other encouraging news… Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel wants a “United Nations of the Internet”. Yea… Can someone say http://www.the computer will have something to do with the mark of the The letter W in Hebrew and in greek if I’m not mistaken has a numerical value of 6. Look at it like this… 666.get me off this crazy demon infested Netanyahu wants Israel to be the head of this “United Nations of the Internet”. Uuuuumm… if I’m not mistaken, the Antichrist will sit in the rebuilt temple in Israel declaring himself to be God. The Illuminati will make their way into Jerusalem and indeed they (Israel) already are a part of the Illuminati web. Israel is the focal point of where the New World Order conspiracy is going (read David Flynn’s excellent book “Temple At The Center of Time”).

“And I heard another voice from Heaven, saying, Come out of her “my people” that you be not “partakers” of her sins, and that you receive not of her plagues (Revelation 18:4).” We know that the world financial institution is controlled out of the Vatican and that Rome under Catholicism is the one ruling everything ultimately but Israel is a big part of this somehow… according to Revelation 18:4.

  9. I am one of those people who have the TV on most of the time but usually with the sound off and CC on while I listen to internet radio and podcasts. I don’t watch any MSM except my local news which for the last month can be summed up in 3 words, “white, cold, deep” and most of the time I watch Home and Garden TV until they show a gay couple hugging because they just love the master suite while house hunting and then I go to the Travel channel. I just watched a very interesting (well, to me since I am 5th generation Scottish) show about Dhani Jones at the Highland games.
All that to say, I think those magic boxes know what we are watching so I try to “vote” with my remote for more wholesome programming. I don’t watch much on the “gimme money” so called Christian channels like TBN but I do think Hal Lindsay and PITN etc. give a better commentary on world news than the talking heads!

  10. Last Friday my family (son, wife, one grandchild) went to a jazz venue. I expected to just be nanny, to take the boy home if he got restless. Instead, the music was enthralling! It was more like what we heard in the 40’s, 50’s, into the 60’s. It was wonderful. The grandson didn’t want to go home. There were a dozen of us from three generations at a long table. The other children were beautiful and the parents talked (between sets) about real things.
It was not like the whiny irritating jazz I have to endure on NPR while I wait for the news on the car radio. This was music from a country I used to live in, like old waltzes from the Scandinavian Hour in Seattle, many years ago, even though it was called jazz.
Once in a while, a break in the cacaphony.

  11. I don’t think Katy Perry was ever a Christian in the first place. I googled her so called Pastor dad and it’s very obvious he is also a satanist!!! And supports her..I even saw a pic of her with her dad and she’s doing the baphemet sign with her hand! And he looks like an Aleister Crowley wannabe, shaved head and harden demeanor!

    • Lara her father is not a satanist and her father is crushed over her behavior. She was a Christian she just isn’t now. Listen to the words of this song. Its awesome!

  12. Watching snippets of the grammys gives me some encouragement: they’ve gone off the deep end and it gives people awareness of what’s actually happening! No more sitting on the fence. I want nothing to do with that wickedness.

  13. And a shout out for Natalie Grant who tweeted she left the grammy’s early, and her response to her tweet:

    Natalie Grant
I’ve tried to read all of the comments on my previous post but I can’t respond to them all. Most of you have always been so supportive and encouraging to me & I’m grateful. It does sadden me when people argue, judge and hurl insults at each other from both sides of the fence. I’m not going to engage in arguments, but just have a few things I’d like to say:
I NEVER said I left during any particular performance. I only said I left early.
I never pointed out any one particular performance, I only said I had many thoughts about the entire show, which were best left inside my head and that is where they will stay. So those who say I condemned one performance but then condoned others clearly did not read the post.
What I DID say is this: I am honored to be a part of the Christian music community. I’ve had many people throughout my career ask why I never tried to go in to mainstream music and last night was a beautiful reminder that I love singing about Jesus and FOR Jesus.
I’ve judged no one. I hate no one. And I believe that every person has been created in the image of God. I will never stand on a street corner and wave a sign, I won’t use my platform to engage in political arguments that will only divide and not unite. I will continue to pray that my life will be my message. I do have my own personal convictions that I live by, and I will continue to work out my own salvation with fear and trembling before the Lord. (Philippians 2:12)
I was honored to be nominated for 2 Grammy awards last night. I’m so grateful that NARAS and The Grammys continue to recognize the contribution that gospel and Christian music make to the world. And I’m so thrilled for those who won in my categories. And I can say that with all sincerity.
    My last thought:
“I am not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus for it is the power of God who brings salvation to ALL who believe.”
    Romans 1:16

    ~ Natalie

    • wow! ..way to go Natalie Grant!! talk about light in a dark world..thats beautiful!! I wonder what the ratio is of people at the grammys who will enter the gates of heaven and hell? hmmm

      Matthew 7:13-14

      The Narrow and Wide Gates

13 “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

    • Her response does leave some questions unanswered…
like–why go in the first place if you knew there were going to be gay marriages (which we all knew about beforehand)?
–why not go on a street corner?
–it sounds like you’re lukewarm about your convictions, only wanting to sing about Jesus but not STAND for him?
      I’ll stop there.
I’m not impressed by your “stand.”

  14. Now there are little girls singing this song in their Halloween witch costume with mom’s broom. “Wherefore, by their fruits you shall know them.” Mt 7 That’s some bad fruit Katy Perry.

And trolls abound to discredit what is so plainly obvious, that the music industry belongs to the prince of this world. “Come soon Lord Jesus.”

    Well said commentary Mr. Marzulli.

    • In the last few years, Halloween has now become a local pastime here in Australia. During my teenage years I thought Halloween was just something made up for a Happy Days or Brady Bunch episode rather than a tradition.

  15. Here is the ‘danger Will Robinson’.

The church will continue to be asleep and even resist, but at some it WILL come around. Unfortunately, when it does, it will be too late. Our churches have been co-opted (and of course there are exceptions) and when they finally come around they won’t be the voice of Jesus, but purely the counterbalance to evil. This counterbalance will not be holy and righteous. It will be a leg in the stool of Babylon.

    • Thank you Hopeful_Watcher for your above compliment. But I can tell you it’s not all me. God’s holy word, the powering of the Holy Spirit and a yielding vessel make this slow-dull mind something it is ordinarily not. As for your question, Jesus says, “Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.” in Revelation. Sounds like the church is in Sodom/Babylon.

  16. BTW, anyone see the doves released by pope Francis get attacked by a gull and a crow. Ominous!

Additional note, same thing happened last year when then pope Benedict released doves. One was attacked by a gull.

    • I saw this just last night while scrolling through various websites. I thought the same thing. It kinda reminded me of the ending of Tom Horn’s book “Petrus Romanus”. It also reminds me of when lightning struck St. Peter’s Basillica twice. When you read the declaration in Revelation about how Mystery Babylon is Fallen, you will notice how it repeats the words “is fallen” TWICE! I personnally feel like this was a hint and an ominous warning of what Mystery, Babylon the Great is speaking about. It was a hint from God. It’s the New World Order being run out of Rome with it’s religious abomination of Catholicism. Sometimes when I see the footage of that double lightning strike, I think of the words “Is Fallen, Is Fallen” from Revelation. And now to have these doves attacked like this is one more hint from God that things are not O.K.

    • Interesting I just read this blog on the same subject:

    • “”

This kind of tech definitely gives us an idea of how something might happen. We can’t know for sure yet obviously but if you are someone in the first century trying to describe something like this…

    • In the following ( From the secular false prophets – aka balaams )…
… the Wizard of Oz (cp. Turkey Giant Hologram, Wizard OS (AI), Angel of Light Apparition)
… contrives a scam for the masses … in cahoots with the munchkins (undocumented) … to seem to control the stars
… to counter the defiance of the Wicked West Witch (www) … with its Flying Monkey Minions (chimeras)

cp. Image-of-the-Beast as the face of the Ten-Horns (aka WOZ)…
…whose hearts are turned to destroy Great-Babylon (which has the face of Katy, Madonna, Hillary, Pelosi….)

      – beast system = global masses
      – 7 heads(*) (dominionist mountains)
      – 10 Horns (rulers with one mind

      * Counterfeits of Christ as The Lamb with 7 Horns and 7 Eyes

  17. For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
    Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.
    2 Corinthians 10:3-6

  18. It may not contain any real magical power (I.e. fake), but it does have the power to cause change.

It is a provocation. It is a catalyst. For every force will breed a counter force. Babylon will be found in the balance between the two. Not for the glory of God, but for the glory of man. The ultimate age of humanitarian love, brought to you by Lucifer himself, the original angel of light.

  19. Irony of ironies, BTW. Her performance at the very end showed her as a witch being burned at the stack.

An overtly religious reference to how churches used to deal with evil.

  20. Are vampires fake? The movie Twilight is fantasy but does it have an extra hidden dimension to itself. “They shall mingle themselves with the seed of men.” Is Twilight working on the right-side of the mind, the art side the creative side the weaker side to install a message? It’s all right girls to become one flesh with strange flesh. Jesus says when He comes back it will be like the times of Noah. In the times of Noah the Sons of God mated with daughters of men. I see a set-up. When the rephaim (the dead ones) return they will again take human women to create their children again.

There is a one-world religion on the way for the anti-Christ and the false prophet to operate in. That religion has to be set and it’s going to be set up in the minds first. That’s were art comes in. Satan will use art to enter the minds and heart first, to set up his kingdom. And once the Restrainer is gone, Everything will fall into place. It’s genius.

  21. I like how you think Laura. So what part do you think the modern church plays in that scenerio or do you feel they are insulated from such influences?

  22. “It may not contain any real magical power (I.e. fake), but it does have the power to cause change.”
Sorta like a McDonald’s commercial when they show that nice BIG juicy Big Mac..burp

Anyway God says Rebellion is as Witchcraft. It was an act of rebellion against the Word of God in the name of Mammon and in glorifying the god of this world.

  23. Well said, L.A. We are indeed strangers in a strange land. It is the land of Lucifer and his fallen ones. But the remnant of Christ is looking for a city whose builder and maker is God. Bless you, my dear brother.

  24. Touchy, touchy. You reveal so much in your rant. From an abundance.of the heart the mouth speaks.

I am.sure L.A. is flattered by the personal attack. Let’s him know he is doing something right.

  25. Is that your most cogent attempt at a conversation with this forum? Because, voiced like this, there isn’t much to work with. Try again.

  26. I don’t know who hurt you, but I will pray for your salvation.that god will humble you and soften your heart. The FIRST commandment of god is : And He said to him, “‘YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND.’ 38″This is the great and foremost commandment. 39″The SECOND is like it, ‘YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.’…

Open your bible to proverbs and wisdom: the very FIRST PROVERB! states THE FEAR OF THE LORD IS THE BEGINNING OF KNOWLEDGE

Who here is the real fool? You don’t sound as if you know or fear your maker..Humble yourself before the lord..We are in the end times Mr Realastralys. This is not the time to doubt ,but a time to turn away from wickedness and run to god.

    • Godshelp74, you have offered the best advice and reply just now to Realastralys.

Realastralys, do you have real peace in your heart? No. Not without the salvation of Jesus Christ. Seek Him while He may yet be found. He came to save, not to condemn. Many on here will pray for your salvation.

    • thank you Linda..It’s makes me so sad. He or she is a perfect example of the confusion in this world. Where their is strife and chaos satan is near..We must hold tight to Jesus in prayer. I found John 10:27 the other day when I was searching for peace after watching the says….

My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand.…

      This alone gives me peace.

Psalm 46:10 Be still and know that I am God….

  27. You state that if it was somewhere else in the world, then we’d have something to worry about. This IS going on in every country on the globe, in the music and movie scene. Go to a non-Christian source- vigilant citizen dot com- and look at the mass of evidence of this going on absolutely everywhere. Don’t read the articles- we wouldn’t want your knickers twisted any tighter and biasing you more than you already sound. Just go LOOK. Its a landslide of evidence of something bigger than just staging. Being artistic means bringing something new, a new view. Its been the same twisted ugly repetitive unoriginal imagery for years, so the ‘edgy and shocking’ argument is null and void, as well.

  28. Being a huge Beatle fan back in the day, I found their music to vary depending on their subject matter. Some songs were of the self-less love that we Christians profess. Others songs were more self-indulgent, typical of rock. Their catalog was definitely a mixed bag. I find it sad that Lennon was murdered in dec 1980 and the attempted murder of Harrison in December of 1999. Sad and so disturbing. I sometimes wish Harrison had left out the hare krishna chant in “my sweet Lord”. And, changed the title of “Here comes the sun” to Here Comes the “SON”.

  29. FORGIVE THEM FATHER THEY KNOW NOT WHAT THEY DO….Good luck with your views Mr real….just remember

    Proverbs 21:2

2 Every way of a man is right in his own eyes,
but the Lord weighs the heart.

I pray your heart is right and that you know our lord…if not May God help your tortured soul..

  30. Realastralys, I hope this will bless your heart. The beauties of our wonderful Creator … in Whom there is no darkness:

    • Ya know, say what you will about Petra, but when I threw away over 500 albums and concert shirts/posters into the dumpster after getting saved, Petra was the band that filled that gap for me. Petra and Rez band were the only ones doing the Christian rock thing at the time…this type of Christian music was in its infancy….most Christian music back in those days were ,to be blount, horrible and talentless. It was years before any decent bands in the Christian genre could compete talent wise with secular bands. To this day I can hear a few notes of a song and be able to tell if they are. Christian band or not…it’s getting a little more difficult but the spirits that drive and manifest themsevles through these secular bands music are just not there in Christian music and I can hear they are not there from the sound of the music.

    • Totally agree Matt, they were for me too.

It was real trip down memory lane the other week when you posted ‘Gave Robber’ which led me to dig up their ‘Not Of This World’ album again. Very timely, especially after where my life’s journey had ended up for 20yrs until about 4yrs ago. Was quite a moving experience considering last time I heard this album was before a whole world of hurt began through that time. Was a great reminder in a warm ‘homecoming’ kind of way…

This gem was also very good to hear again too…

  31. Katy Hudson Perry’s so called “Christian” songs below are typical of rock n roll apostate “Christian music.” How any one could listen to that garbage is beyond me It reeks of typical secular rock n roll music, with its off beat rhythm.

Katy Hudson didn’t have to take a far leap to becoming Katy Perry the satanic witch occultist in her Grammy performance.

The warnings about so called “Christian rock n roll music, ” were given very clearly by Dr. Jack Wheaton in his book “Crisis in Christian Music.”

Before Dr. Wheaton became a Christian he produced many musical scores for Hollywood movies, and directed and supervised the Gershwin segment of the 1984 Olympic opening ceremonies, among many other achievements. He has authored over 15 books. I highly recommend and encourage people who profess Christianity to read the above book by Dr. Wheaton. (ISBN 157558062-4 Hearthstone Publishing).

From Dr. Wheaton’s book: Today there is a crisis in Christian music. Secular, pagan, and even occult musical styles have crept into the church, all dressed up with new Christian lyrics. Old, traditional hymns, tried and true, have been thrown on the scrap heap of church history. Naively, pastors, music directors, and younger members of congregations have often unknowingly embraced musical styles that can have spiritually negative effects on their listeners. (And let me add, on those that sing them also. Many of the “Christian” rock n roll musicians are now coming out of the closet as homosexuals, and occultist like Katy Perry).

As I stated above after listening to Katy Hudson’s/Perry’s “Christian” music, she didn’t have to take a big leap to get where she is now !!! If you can’t recognize it you need to read Dr. Wheaton’s book.

At a prophecy conference not long back we were entertained by a “Christian” jazz group. Their playing and singing was excellent if you like the devil’s music.

When the leader asked the audience if they would like to hear the old time Christian songs, he didn’t even wait for a response but swept his right hand across his face as if to push away that desire from any in the audience from acknowledging it, with an accompanying “naaaaaaaaaaah.”

Well he can guess again, I would have loved to have heard God being Glorified in Spirit, and in Truth with godly, edifying real Christian music that filled the Churches before the apostasy we now see taking place through many vehicles, with “Christian” rock n roll music being no small part of that great falling away.

Katy Perry Grammy Awards ‘Dark Horse’ performance had witchcraft and satanic symbolism; Shows singer’s rejection of childhood Christian values Published 27 January 2014 | Jennifer Jones Email Print[image: Text Size][image: Larger][image: Smaller] More Sharing ServicesShare Tweet AP Mary Perry Hudson (l) with her daughter, pop star Katy Perry (c), and husband Keith Hudson (r)

Pop star Katy Perry’s performance of “Dark Horse” during the 2014 Grammy Awards on Sunday evening has shocked some fans as it displayed dark satanic imagery, including witchcraft and demons.

Perry was dressed as a witch and wore a Knights of Templar cross across her chest during the performance. She also pole-danced on a broom, and was finally burned at the stake towards the end of her controversial ensemble on the awards show, which is watched by families across the world.

The singer’s dark performance shocked many, even prompting E! News to tweet: “Um, did we just witness actual witchcraft during Katy Perry’s #Grammys performance?”

Fans took to Twitter to express their opinions about Perry’s controversial “Dark Horse” performance.

One user tweeted: “I mean they showed Katy Perry ‘s demonic witchcraft performance & I’m like oh that’s talent?”

Another said, “Katy Perry promoting witchcraft, demons, magic, Satanism, the dark horse with demonic red eyes of the apocalypse ready for the perfect storm.”

“Katy Perry went from singing Country Gospel Music to Witchcraft on Tv….. Well then..”

“This Katy Perry performance look like some Witchcraft Devil Work”

The 29-year-old, who was raised in a strong Christian household, recently rejected her former religion in an interview with Marie Claire.

She told the magazine in its December 2013 issue that she is no longer a Christian and does not believe in heaven or hell. She has indicated that she does believe in God but that she does not associate with any religion.

Perry said, “I’m not Buddhist, I’m not Hindu, I’m not Christian, but I still feel like I have a deep connection with God. I pray all the time — for self-control, for humility. There’s a lot of gratitude in it. Just saying ‘thank you’ sometimes is better than asking for things.”

Katy Perry was formerly known as Christian artist Katy Hudson. Listen to her songs below:

  32. Speaking of battling evil, beginning February 4th and 5th..Russ Dizdar will have Live Courses via internet/radio

    everyone have great day….:)

  33. God bless you, Realaustralys! I always held a strong suspicion regarding the wrestling as being fake. Thanks for confirming that. Good on you, mate!

I detect, given your comments and expressing your own knowledge of things, that you are somewhat angry, but at what and whom exactly, I am uncertain.

    Yeshua states,

John 14:10 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

Matthew 11:28 Come unto to me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and you
shall find rest unto your souls.

30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

Revelation 3:2 Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die:
for I have not found thy works perfect before God.

Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent.
If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know
what hour I will come upon thee.

and Paul says in his epistle to Timothy:

1 Timothy 6:19 …keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings …

  34. I didn’t watch the grammy’s because I had many convictions about it. Thankfully I didn’t. Seeing what transpired only makes it more clear where the world is at and headed. How people cannot see the blantant message is confusing to me. I at times feel like most people are in a trance.

I seen an article a few weeks ago where Katy Perry was quoted saying she believed in aliens. Beings from another world. If anyone can find it and post it that would be great. She’s really not leaving anything to the imagination. Katy Perry has “sold her soul to the devil.” As she herself has claimed.

Praying for everyone on the blog.

      quote CNN:
Perry told GQ she’s a believer in astrology and extraterrestrial life, and would like to have a conversation with Obama about the issue when the time’s right.

“I see everything through a spiritual lens,” she said. “I believe in a lot of astrology. I believe in aliens.”

Perry continued: “I look up into the stars and I imagine: How self-important are we to think that we are the only life-form?”

“I mean, if my relationship with Obama gets any better, I’m going to ask him that question. It just hasn’t been appropriate yet.”
