  1. Yes, it was good to see you on PitN.

Unfortunately, I completely forgot about the radio show (Thursday? You mean today’s not Wednesday?). Well, that’s something to listen to tomorrow. (At that point I was actually listening to a teaching on the history of Israel from Harvest Family Fellowship in Reno.) Thanks for being archived!

  2. Derek Gilbert interviewed Tom Payne on his fractal time book new revision.

VFTB 110: The Template of Time Revisited

Generally, I’m open to the discussion of time patterns in history as a complement of David Flynn’s “Temple at the Center of Time” work. And I’m a clear proponent of fractal patterns of organization.

That said, I have a strong suspicion against anything that asserts some particular date-time prediction of events as divination and false prophecy.

LA tends to predict events as likely within certain windows of time.

Is the sign of a false prophet date setting? Is there a backdrop to history — something like a stage on which we’re all arrayed in some grand game?

    What’s your take???

    • To quote Doug Hamp on page 320 of his book “Corrupting the Image,” “…we are to know the times and the seasons, yet Jesus said very literally that the day and the hour no one can know. The Lord’s second coming between 2018 and 2028 is seemingly the time and the season but is not predictive of the day or the hour.”

  3. God gives his prophets and prophetiss times so we make be prepared and be ready. Not a time and a day.If the Lord did that and we knew the exact time he was coming,we would all sin until that day.We don’t knw the exact hour or day but we know the time frame as the Lord is doing a new thing and it is as the Spirit WILLS,meaning He can do what ever He wants in this hour..
