War is coming to the Middle East and in my opinion it’s just a matter of time and one incident which will serve as the spark that ignites the flames of war.  If you scroll down to In Other News section, you will see a story about how the Moslem Brotherhood has won a substantial majority in the recent Egyptian elections.  If you recall when the Arab Spring first began and the pundits and talking heads assured us that we would see a democracy, I BLOGGED here that it wouldn’t be the case.  I was right, and what I believe will emerge in Egypt will be a repressive Sharia law type of government, which will then turn its eyes toward the destruction of Israel.  As as student of prophecy I am alarmed at what I see.  I wrote my friend and colleage, Bill Salus and expressed my alarm at the recent developments in the Middle East.  What will happen next is anyones guess.  Salus believes that we are headed toward the fulfillment of the Psalm 83 prophecy.  Will we see the destruction of Damascus, which is spelled out in Isaiah 17?  Will this war then lead to the Ezekiel 38 war?  If we are honest we don’t know, we can only theorize based on our interpretation of scripture.

For an example Paddy Heron posted a video that assures us there will be no falling away and the word apostasy means departure.  I’ve investigated this and found that there are arguments both for and against his position.  What we need to remember is to not let out feet get cemented in theological concrete!   In these times we need to be flexible to be able to adjust to what we see come down the pike.  In the end what transpires on all fronts will become self evident.  Here’s why.

Before Israel became a nation there was much debate as to the fulfillment of Ezekiel 37.  Now it is self evident that Israel has been gathered back into its ancient homeland.  However, there are those who won’t acknowledge this and hold to the belief that the church is Israel which is replacement theology.  In other words even when it seems to be plain that prophecy has been fulfilled there are those who won’t believe it.

In closing today’s post:   I was right about the elections in Egypt.  I believe I am right when as a watchman I warn about the coming war.  We can continue life with our head in the sand and tell ourselves that all is well, or we can face reality and see that the world is on the verge of falling into a dark precipice.  I watched some of the “religious” channels over the weekend and was saddened that not one mentioned the events that are transpiring in the Middle East, although there was talk about giving your seed faith offering.

The time of Jacob’s Trouble is at hand.  The hour is dark, the shadows deepen.  The drums of war grow louder, for those who can hear them….

Watchers 3 is now shipping!

Undecided about what to give this holiday season?  Why not the Watchers series as it will get people thinking!

I watched Watchers 3, when I got home…it was well done and very informative and a good job….
I was especially intrigued by the Shroud and Hopi discussion ….. maybe Stan Deyo will tells us more what was said to him in Watchers 4.
Keep up the good work…it seems every Watchers series that comes out is better than the previous.
Again, keep up the good work. Thanks.

  1. If Ezekiel 37 was fulfilled in 1948, could you please explain just why verses 23 and 24 are not currently in effect?????And please, don’t tell me that those come much later.

23Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions: but I will save them out of all their dwellingplaces, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God.

24And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them.

    • David – Like many prophecies there are some parts that are fulfilled and others that are left to be fulfilled. Sorry. but that’s the answer. If you look at Matthew 24 you will see a perfect example of this as the prophecy concerns those who are in Jerusalem at the time of 70 AD, and then other parts that won’t occur, such as Jerusalem being controlled by the Gentiles for almost two thousands years later. The verses you pointed to are future and will be fulfilled, if you can’t accept that, then I don’t know what to tell you. Believe what y you want to believe… How can you possibly not see that Israel is back in the land? Please don’t fall back on the Synagogue of Satan nonsense…

    • The synagogue of satan “nonsense” were the words of Jesus, not mine. Although, I don’t buy your answer, I appreciate your response.

    • Hi Doug. Are you arguing the replacement theory? Seriously, I am not sure…..if you are then consider this is from OT and not spoken by Christ during His time on earth. God was speaking to the Jews (there were no Christians yet!)and I don’t know that I see them (Israel) being “defiled by idols” as much as the “Christian” churches that worship the offering plate and prosperity doctrine here in America!

    • Allow me to weigh in. Yes there are Jews and Israel in the homeland, BUT they do not yet have the Spirit, and won’t until they accept Christ. On the other hand, The Church hasn’t replaced Israel. So my thoughts, 37 isn’t fulfilled yet, BUT I think God will use them and they will eventually.

    • L.A., one last question….If Ezekiel 38 is imminent, do these things mentioned in this battle come later as well, or are they just metaphors for tanks, missles, ships, planes? Maybe an emp attack happens prior to battle?

4And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armour, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords:

5Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet:

    • Doug, one EMP strike and everyone’s on horses again.

But seriously, this blog is not a forum for arguing about who Israel is and is not. You know L.A.’s stance. You know (I think) the strife brought about that shut down the comments section before, that it was the strife and useless wranglings against Jews and Israel that did it.

Please take the anti-Israel debate someplace where it is welcomed. This just isn’t the place for it. Let’s promote the bond of peace.

    • Darlin’ Jacqueline beat me to it….The EMP threat is another proof of scripture to me….just think, just a couple decades ago it seemed that nothing could send us back to the archaic weapons and transport described and now the speculation of how we would go back to the 1800s is totally accepted!

    • Hi Elaine, thanks for the affection, I needed that. I reread Doug’s post and he put EMP there, too. Isn’t God amazing how He puts ridiculous impossibilities in prophecy and then just shows off and does ’em. I love you, God!!

    • Concerning the first comeing prophecies…lOK

Tbe O.T. prophecies which the Jews knew abnout concerning the coming of their Messiah…He would be be a suffereing Messian and The Conquering Mesiah… Jesus Christ did 1/2 f of the prophecy, and fullfilled the Surffering ZMessiah lst of all.

He did that, as our Last Passover. Next, He will return as a conquering Messiah.

Jesus was the 77ty man from Adam acdg to to the O.T. genalogies, same as our Coujht Recors which hold up in court, right.

The scriptures are not rezlly “tricky”…but most of us Americans lack understanding because we dont and can’t read the scriptures in their Original Languages…I’m really thinking to say that we shouldn’t use the KJV at all…

Our Country was foujded on the Geneva Bile use by the Pilgrims, used by the Pilgrims.

    • The N.T. Church is “Grated into Israel as a Wild Branch”. THEREFORE: The Bride of Christ is a separate entity.

In the Jewish Holy Temple, there is a place for the Gentiels, called “the Court of the Gentiles”. Yes, eventually, they are allowed into the The Holy temple…who…The Christian Believers….only Non-believers will have No Admittance.

    • I just want to comment that Doug is absolutely right. There is no way that Ezekiel 37 can have been fulfilled yet for various reasons. I don’t want to debate it, but I just wanted to make the point that the “Ezekiel 37 Fulfilled” theory is not nearly as widely accepted as some might think.

I also want to point out that doubting whether this prophecy applies to modern day Israel is in no way an indication of anti-Israel sentiment. It just means some people believe this prophecy to be referring to something else.

    • dear doug… these verses sound like they coincide with Isreal becoming a nation to me. let the Spirt flow in your interpretation of the scriptures with what have and what is happing and it will make clear that Ezekiel 37 has been fulfilled

    • Doug, prophetic scripture is timeless. It will keep cycling through again, again through historical events until they are fulfilled. This is because Satan has ALWAYS been amongst us, the nature of Satan never changes and his goals and objectives are consistent throughout time. So if a prophetic scripture says they came riding on horseback (in other words the most advanced vehicle of war for the time), then this is prophetic event that is interpreted for the times, i.e. in a locomotive, in a car, in a tank, in a fighter jet, in a spacecraft. Because these prophecies are timeless and had many opportunities to happen throughout history, then it is written in the context of the now and back then it was horseback. If it was written, they will come forth in tanks (aside from the fact this would be meaningless to them), this would limit it to a time period where tanks were the transportation of war. It would cease to be timeless. Would you of been happier if Ezekiel 38:4 {I will turn you around, put hooks in your jaws and bring you out with your whole army—your horses, your horsemen fully armed, and a great horde with large and small shields, all of them brandishing their swords.}
      said something like this instead:
I will turn you around, maneuver you in a method you can’t resist and bring you out with your whole army– your personal transportation methods, those who use this transportation fully ready to kill with various methods, and a great horde with protective coverings, all of them brandishing their weapons of war.

This is silly. It is written in the context of the time it was written, but that doesn’t invalidate the accuracy of the prophecy.

    • At the risk of furthering this “debate” about Ezekiel 37 it’s important I think for people to understand that “letting the spirit flow” is not the way to study the Bible. We are not to rely on “feelings” we get from reading the Bible nor are we to ask the Holy Spirit what is true and not. Proverbs 14:12 tells us, “There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.” 1 John 4:1 reads, “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God; because many false prophets are gone out into the world.”

“Try the spirits” means to use your knowledge and common sense to put such things to the test. Don’t ask the Lord to show you the correct interpretation. He gave you the word to read and a brain to read it with. If certain parts of a given prophecy do not make sense or do not fit what we see then we can not just ignore those parts because “the spirit told me so”.

Jeremiah 17:9 “The heart is deceitful above all things”. Don’t trust in your heart. Use your brain.

    • Sorry Vincent, but I have to disagree with you. The brain has pride and an ego, so it too will lead us astray. We are told to test the spirits, meaning no evil spirit will ever affirm that Jesus Christ came in the flesh, died and was raiswd in three days. This is the spirit that is against Christ or antichrist. There is a spirit of truth and there are some things that will NEVER be understood unless it is revealed to us through divine intepretation of the word.

  2. Hi Elaine, – I won’t further the discussion. I just wanted to hear L.A.’s response. I don’t want him to have to shut down the comments section again.

    • Doug:

If you know that LA closed his comment section before based on people starting cat and mouse games in regard to replacement theology, then you obviously already know his position on this issue and the scriptures you brought up in question. If you already knew that, then why do it…more cat and mouse games? Just asking?

    • No cat and mouse intended, and no replacement theology was mentioned by me. Just wanted to increase my understanding of the verses mentioned. I was not aware of his position on those verses in particular.

  3. In reference to LA’s posting today, specifically in regard to the issue of there being no falling away, as in huge apostasy of the church…I didn’t think that was true, however, since the scripture does mean departure, it could fit the bride being removed from earth (rapture). The sciptures speak of evil infiltrating the church, and that has been the case from the beginning with the enemy bringing in corruption of God’s word from even before the church…the enemy started his corrupting of God’s word and character in the Garden and at his rebellion in heaven. The fact that we see such corruption, apostasy, and blindness growing in the church only underlines the fact that the Lord said these things would happen and in greater intensity as we get nearer the end. Therefore, perhaps the scripture that speaks of the falling away is indeed speaking of our actual depature.

    • Yep, and that could be just the “proof” that those who are currently on the faith fence need to become the saints that come through the trib! Our job is to keep planting as many seeds as we can on the off chance that our words will come to mind after we are gone and help someone!
I am with L.A. on the pan-trb belief but it would be a great thing to miss what is coming! Even if He keeps us safe in our chamber until the wrath has passed…..would be so hard and sad to have to see it!

    • It’s a great Falling Away of Society in general as well. Please realize that our prison system has grown immensely.

As in the days of Noah, scenario.

Just tonight, I saw Hillary Cleinton on T.V. and it appears, that she “came out of the closet” and really has that “Butch Look” and really looked scary.

Pray them out with Pslams Ch 109, please.

  4. Great comment Lisa. I always saw that the apostasy is the result of the removal of the “Restrainer” which is the Church. Once the Bride meets Jesus in the air, the man of sin will be revealed. It works out nicely with what Mrs M posted about the discovered planet. Reminds me of the movie, Knowing.

    • And wrath there will be!

Either you are for Christ or against him. The Holy Spirit does not teach people to hate Israel. Test the spirits; the teachers/spirits that sow doubt and hatred are apparent, there is no “religious–correctness” tolerance for lack of knowledge, as the Lord says you are either for me or against me.

      2 Timothy 3
1 But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! 6 For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts, 7 always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. 8 Now as Jannes and Jambres resisted Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, disapproved concerning the faith; 9 but they will progress no further, for their folly will be manifest to all, as theirs also was.

  5. Romans 11 is wonderful concerning Israel. And by Israel I definitely mean those that are the seed of Jacob.

The elect, reserved by the Almighty both in Elijah’s time and in Paul’s time, had faith in YHWH Adonai / Jesus Christ / Yahshua Messiah.

Those that were cut off from Israel before, make me think of Aaron’s Rod. Even a dead tree can live again and bud — and no doubt branch and bloom and bring forth fruit when regrafted into the tree of faith that has existed in Israel since Abraham. Not in the least because both Jacob and Jesus (His body) were in Abraham as seed (and I mean the pattern of related DNA).

There’s no controversy that the elect who have died physically are alive right now with Christ spiritually if you believe what we’re told in Scripture. That very much includes Jacob/Israel and all the generations of the elect that have passed on. Israel — as a people — are very much alive in them. And we (formerly gentiles) have been grafted into them. But that tree, the tree of the faithful to God — includes more than Israelites — since it goes back to and beyond Abraham. I’d dare say back beyond Noah to Adam.

So the House of Faith (in the only True God) — drawn from all generations — is the Temple of His Spirit (the Holy Spirit), just as Christ himself in His flesh is the True Temple of God.

We have this passage and overcoming appointed. That which is repulsed by God and draws instead to the rebel angels will take flee to their habitations (like Great Babylon, multi-faith churches, and self-obsession). Such is the mystery of iniquity that is part of separation (wheat from tares). There is a remnant in Israel, both the nation, and the people scattered yet world wide, that are elect in this day. Those that take the mark eventually will be cut-off forever. No matter what they call themselves at that time they won’t be Israel. Or a best can only be called corrupt or fallen Israel. Those that don’t take the mark, who embrace Messiah will be grafted in because of their faith in Him, who in times passed was also called, “I am,” YHWH Adonai, YAH, and in the flesh Yahsha or Y’shua, and later Jesus.

He has reserved a name for Himself that none of us yet know, which confounds the true-namers, yeah! Which is His choice. As is his choice to extend mercy and grace to whom He chooses. I have every faith that He is ultimately just and fair and loving in all His ways. It’s not for me to question why, but to try to understand, or to obey anyway even when I don’t understand His way yet.

    Revelation 19:12
His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.

All that’s left of Israel after the mark, including whoever uses the name or the code of the beast, will truly be Israel in the world at that time. And they will recognize Messiah as Yahshua and YHWH Adonai. And they will be regrafted as a people (DNA … in the flesh) again into Living Israel — Spiritual Israel dwelling with Him in Heaven beyond earth as well as when Heaven is extended into the earth in the millennial kingdom.

But faith doesn’t come by flesh. So the children of the kingdom will be cast out (not all, there remains the election and remnant). And satan will again draw those that reject Immanuel to the rebellion when he is released. The last of the tares will then be cast out.

And all of us who are branches of the True Vine, (clearly spiritual and not physical), will rejoice together as we manifest the very Tree of Life, forever together with Christ as the Wife (collectively) of the Lamb.

That’s as best I can tell what Y’shua means to me and about Israel through continuing generations. Through the adoption and engrafting, I am come into His house and theirs. Through His Spirit (the Holy Ghost) I look for that more perfect union sealed finally in the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, where in truth we will say that we are One with Him, both offspring (His children), and helper (His wife), and siblings (His brethren meaning brothers and sisters).

I should review and edit, but please be at peace here. I am at peace now. The peace that comes only in Christ who reconciles us to Him.

    • It all began with Adam and his seed Noah and his seed Abraham and his seed Isaac and his seed Jacob.

It’s Israel who we need to keep watching as God will once again show the world His power through Israel.

  7. One-third of Kiwis believe in alien visits

By Lincoln Tan New Zealand Herald
    5:30 AM Wednesday Dec 7, 2011

A third of New Zealanders believe aliens have visited Earth and a majority think psychic powers exist, a study has found.

One thousand respondents were asked by UMR Research if they believed “that Earth has been visited by UFOs from other planets”.

About 33 per cent said they did, and Maori (42 per cent) and Pasifika (40 per cent) were more likely to believe.

The number of believers is greatest among the 30 to 44 year olds at 36 per cent, and drops to 26 per cent among those aged 60 and over.

Graeme Opie, a sighting investigator and researcher for the Ufocus New Zealand Research Network, said: “According to reports, the number of Americans that believe in extra-terrestrials and life on other planets is quite high too, so it isn’t too surprising that many of us here believe in UFOs.”

The veteran Hamilton traffic controller and pilot adds, “I can say with near certainty that UFOs have been to Earth … and there’s plenty of literature to back this belief.”

Sightings in New Zealand include events such as the Kaikoura lights, the Ngatea landing-site mystery and the Gisborne UFO event of the late 70s that included sightings of silver-suited humanoids in the Waimata Valley.

The UMR survey also found 55 per cent believed that at least some people have psychic powers such as ESP.

Women (67 per cent), over-60s (63 per cent) and Maori (60 per cent) more likely than others to be believers.

Six in 10 – 72 per cent of women and 52 per cent of men – believe in the existence of God or a universal spirit.

Nearly 8 in 10 believe that Jesus was a real person who lived 2000 years ago, and 57 per cent believe in life after death. That belief declined with age, falling from 65 per cent among under-30s to 49 per cent among over-60s…

    • Just take the word “E.T.s” and f=replace it with the biblical word “Angels”

The Angel Lucofer is in charge of the Earth for the most part. Michael is the 2nd strongest Angel and was the Messenger sent to Daniel after 21 days of Fighting with the Luciferian Angels in order to deliver the message to Daniel.

  8. I just finished watching this movie and the nephilim change the human DNA and then eat the people Alien Armageddon here is the Trailer this film was once called Battelground Los Angeles, but renamed.

  9. I have TBN on practically all day. John Hagee
, Rod Parsley and Perry Stone are either doing updates of end of days series, or teaching about it again. I first heard about the Rapture from Hal Lyndsay, and Tim La Haye. Jack Van Impe`s show on TBN was always concentrated on this subject.
