    • “Mitt Romney On Polygamy”
      5-13-2007 5:41 PM

quote: “Mitt Romney shares his views on polygamy, calling the practice “awful.” He also believes American voters want a candidate with values.”

    • from “http://goo.gl/DeXM7”

      First, a bit of history…

Willard “Mittens” Romney is the son of George Wilcken Romney, an immigrant from Mexico. You read that right.

George W. Romney’s grandparents were polygamous Mormons who fled the United States with their children because of the federal government’s opposition to polygamy. His maternal grandfather was Helaman Pratt (1846–1909), who presided over the Mormon mission in Mexico City before moving to the state of Chihuahua and who was the son of original Mormon apostle Parley P. Pratt (1807–1857).

George W. Romney’s parents were American citizens Gaskell Romney (1871–1955) and Anna Amelia Pratt (1876-1926); they married in 1895 in Mexico and lived in Colonia Dublán, Galeana, in the Mexican state of Chihuahua (one of the Mormon colonies in Mexico) where George Wilcken Romney was born on July 8, 1907.

The Mexican Revolution broke out in 1910 and the Mormon colonies were endangered in 1911–1912 by raids from marauders, including “Red Flaggers” Pascual Orozco and José Inés Salazar. Young George heard the sound of distant gunfire and saw rebels walking through the village streets. The Romney family fled and returned to the United States in July 1912, leaving their home and almost all of their property behind. George W. Romney would later say, “We were the first displaced persons of the 20th century.”

The Romney family subsisted with other Mormon refugees on government relief in El Paso, Texas for a few months before moving to Los Angeles, California, where Gaskell Romney worked as a carpenter. In kindergarten there, other children mocked George W. Romney’s national origin by calling him “Mex.”

That was the early childhood of Willard “Mittens” Romney’s father, George W. Romney, an immigrant from Mexico. You would think the life experience of his own father would have had a profound impact upon the opinions and sensitivity of Willard “Mittens” Romney to the issue of immigration, particularly with respect to immigration from Mexico. And you would be wrong.

note: Polygamy is currently an issue in Iran, Libya, Morocco, Russia, recently Canada, and wherever Sharia Law encroaches. The point is to watch how society is shifting, and manipulated into crossing more and more lines. While watching for sudden apocalypse, don’t miss the fact that there’s a slow motion train wreck happening all around us on a daily incremental boiled frog time scale.

  2. At this point on the prophetic clock it doesn’t matter who is in the White House. The only hope for this nation, and the world for that matter, is the second coming of Christ.

  3. Heard the argument that if we allow same sex marriage, polygamy should be allowed since it would not be “fair”.

    • Polygamy s definitely hard to argue against since there are many instances of Polygamy in the Bible. (Wives of Israel/Jacob, wives of David, wives of Solomon … the wise and foolish virgins — though spiritual marriage of the believer to Christ as The Lamb is through the collective as in New Jerusalem, and likewise in anticipation the true Church as the Bride being the body where Christ is the head).

This is where we’re at. There’s no defense in a democracy. When the majority (even if only a majority of representatives) vote, that becomes the law. Hence murder is legalized (abortion, unjust wars, euthanasia), addictive drug use is legalized, divorce becomes the majority practice, massive tax theft is legalized, and alternative lifestyles become “civilized” rights, no matter how destructive of family or life.

I believe that Christ’s way is always best. In His rule and Kingdom, there is neither greek nor jew, male nor female, bond nor free. Consequently, the law of the Kingdom of Heaven does not speak to the issue of marriage. The fallen world would do well to follow His teachings even if only in form and not with the heart. Other scripture gives us the intent and practice of marriage. And alternative lifestyle marriage is abomination by comparison. The two twain join together to become one, not in the least in the flesh through offspring, with the commitment and covenant including the Almighty spiritually as the seal when husband and wife are both believers.

At best, the state can only offer a contract. I’m ok with calling that a civil union. They want to call it marriage and thus deal with a much diluted term which is a empty promise about matters of property and flesh, but not of the heart.

On matters of democratic vote or constitutional law there is no defense of true marriage or salvation of the family. Nor could there ever be such devoid of Christ.

    • Wow! That prompts serious flashbacks as we dealt with all this trauma.

And have now become accustomed to it. Lord have mercy!

Yet this is just a taste, a warning to get ready.

Tribulation is hammering. In the “Blessings and Curses” it’s 7 series of 7 punishments, which demolishes pride and rebellion.

And Great Tribulation as in the Trumpet and Vial judgments utterly devastates the earth.

There’s no way to become jaded to tribulation and survive.

    • Proverbs 29:01
“He, that being often reproved hardeneth his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy. ”

  5. The first part of Chris White’s exposé of the Catholic gospel of “Salvation by Baptism” (such as infant baptism) vs. True Salvation by Faith in Christ through Grace.

    Mark 16
9 Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils.
10 And she went and told them that had been with him, as they mourned and wept.
11 And they, when they had heard that he was alive, and had been seen of her, believed not.
12 After that he appeared in another form unto two of them, as they walked, and went into the country.
13 And they went and told it unto the residue: neither believed they them.
14 Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart,
because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen.

15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

    • I like Chris White. He did a video with Doug Hamp. Chris White has a free DVD with tons of free resources. He’s got teaching from Chuck Missler and Dave Guzik. These teachers are pre-trib and I think Chris is pre-wrath. It’s awesome we can have different views on non-salvation issues and still be unified in Christ.

  6. browsing blogtalk radio shows because I have listened to every L.A. Marzulli interview or show and still thirsting for more……almost clicked to listen to someone else but in their show description found this:

“rapture / rescue mission referred to as the “falling away” in 2 Thes. 2. ”

HUH???????? Just a reminder to me that we must still test all with scripture and be very careful and discern!!!!
I decided to come home here to L.A.s blog instead of listening to that!

  7. I posted some lyrics a while ago that made me think Leonard Cohen might be on the verge of finding Christ with his song “The Future” which had a chorus that said “repent repent repent, I wonder what they meant”

Now he has a new one you can listen to here: http://www.leonardcohen.com/us/oldideas and he has verses that mention “when the Word became man” and rolling away the stone…….

  8. (∞)|(∞),

Chris White is currently pre-wrath, was pre-trib.

LA is “pan-trib,” “It will all pan out in the end.”

Note in the interest of full disclosure. I think (so far) that every key event in history and prophecy has foreshadowing and echoes.

So Enoch and Elijah were foreshadows, not unlike the ascension of Christ, or that of the Two Witnesses (most think individuals, I think companies, no conclusion).

All pointing to the main event for being caught away (“raptured”), the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, where the “dead in Christ” shall rise (our bodies) to be joined to us who have passed on already (we the living, clothed with our spiritual bodies, 1st Cor. 44 plus context), and “those that are alive and remain” in the flesh on earth join with their spiritual bodies (the wedding garment)….

    Matthew 24
31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
(where “four winds” are about earth, cp. Rev. 7:01, plus many others)

As for Salvation, we each need to be certain. We can’t save ourselves. We can’t give ourselves eternal life. Nor can we arrange to be with Christ forever, on our own. That’s the work of Jesus Christ, also called Yahshua Messiah and YHWH Adonai, since even as Son of God, He and the Father are One.

Those that focus on being born again to enter the Kingdom of Heaven, need to consider: “But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” (Matthew 8:12) The Gospel of the Kingdom is only a portion of the Gospel of Christ.

Similarly, whatever form of baptism we point to, they may all be reconciled as baptism into Christ, (whether John’s baptism for repentance(turning to God), or baptism in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, or baptism in the name of Jesus, or baptism in the Holy Spirit, or even baptism for the dead (our bodies, crucified with Christ), buried in the likeness of His death, raised in the likeness of His resurrection, as a visible act of obedience demonstrating what we believe in our hearts). We need to immerse ourselves in Him. Much as we need to consume His flesh and drink His blood, not physically, but spiritually.

Whatever our differences, they may be reconciled in Christ — but that means coming to His way — not our own opinion or interpretation. So yes, I very much agree that we see different views on the larger whole, but our eyes and ears and thoughts should remain fixed on Yahshua and not the doctrines of men (or demons).

Which is why at times here we’ve decided to agree to disagree on things which are yet to come, as “intellectual honesty,” courtesy, and humility requires.

    1st Corinthians 13
09 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.
10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.
11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things
12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

  9. The FutureQuake podcast this week with Dr. Judd Burton is intense; not in the least, due to what Michael Bennett (Dr. Future) brings to the discussion as regards “wormwood” in the Revelation being related to goddess worship, esp. artemis/diana/moon goddess (“http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Artemisia_%28plant%29”).

A key concern was that modern mages that mix science with occult practices are opening dimensional doors / invoking demons.

(I was surprised they didn’t bring the nazi occult connections in to the discussions about neo-paganism, though Mike Tatar (Tom Bionic) noted a “red skull” reference re: captain america.)

Part of the discussion revolved around how society is conditioned for these dark dealings.

Though not commented on the program, orion is related to artemis in mythology. It’s very telling that the next crew vehicle, compare apollo, is “orion.”

All the more interesting compared to an older supposedly shelved program for interstellar travel involving nuclear propulsion.

Tom Horn makes a connection between osiris/apollo and orion.

Plenty was said about “civil religion” in the program, regarding the “apotheosis of geo. washington,” the mason to mason gift of the statue of liberty, and the absence of statuary in the capitals regarding Christ in a supposedly Christian cultural nation.

I like to expose the obvious that we’re steeped in european paganism, such as in the names of the days of the week, the names of the months, and the names of the planets.

I believe the fallen have always targeted the ruling elites, since the elites sought favor with the gods by having advisers search the heavens. No surprise there was contact. (esp. Acts 7 and Rom. 1 considered, that the almighty gave them over to it)

    see also:

A major point put forth by Dr. Burton was that the adepts (lone mages) are likely more of a threat than the neo-pagan groups, since they’re the ones using occult [or alien] technology to open the gates. Dr. Future pointed to a 1957 film, “night of the demon” with Dana Andrews that had much the same concerns.
    Audioclip: “http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Karswell_Holden_dialogue.ogg”

Brings to mind both the film “The Brotherhood of the Bell” (cp. skull and bones) and the book, “The SS Brotherhood of the Bell).

Waking up before sunrise can be tough to do, especially on a weekend. On Saturday, Dec. 10th, you might be glad you did. A total eclipse of the Moon will be visible in the early morning skies of western Northern America.

The action begins around 4:45 am Pacific Standard Time when the red shadow of Earth first falls across the lunar disk. By 6:05 am Pacific Time, the Moon will be fully engulfed in red light. This event—the last total lunar eclipse until 2014—is visible from the Pacific side of North America, across the entire Pacific Ocean to Asia and Eastern Europe:

  11. Thanks for posting the link, L.A… and thanks a bajillion for doing the interview. I’m getting a lot of positive responses. And according to the stats on my site, your interview has rocketed to one of the most popular articles I’ve posted in ages. You’re wonderful. God bless you and yours! I look forward to collaborating again in the future!
