Death Toll Mounts in Syria, Along With Outside Pressure

Death Toll Mounts in Syria, Along With Outside Pressure – NYTimes.com

Against a backdrop of mounting Arab pressure on President Bashar al-Assad of Syria, activists on Tuesday reported mounting violence, with more than 50 people killed on Monday, making it the highest death toll on a single day in months.  The latest tally of bloodletting came a day after King Abdullah of neighboring Jordan added his voice on Monday to the growing calls for Mr. Assad to relinquish power, becoming the first Arab leader on Syria’s doorstep to call for a change in government to end the increasingly bloody political uprising there.

It would appear that President Bashar Al Assad of Syria is now backed into a very tight corner.  He is lashing out in some of the most brutal blood letting that we have seen so far, during the Arab spring.  Some of the images on YOUTUBE that are coming out of Syria are shocking.  One such video that my friend and co-producer of the Watchers series, Richard Shaw, discovered, showed a boy who was tortured and killed.  The blood bath continues in Syria further destabilizing the country and the region.  Meanwhile our Weasels-in-the-stream media focuses on the Penn State child molestation charges and who is out on Dancing with the Stars.  Which of these stories should be getting lot’s of attention?  Answer: Syria and here’s why.

In my opinion it’s not a matter of if war will break our between Israel and the Moslem nations that surround it, it’s when.  There will be a tipping point, a flash point, an incident that will ignite the fires of war.  Assad threatened to rein missiles on Tel Aviv if he was attacked or threatened.  Assad is a power-hungry, brutal, dictator that inherited his position from his equally brutal father, who was responsible for the killing of thousands in a similar uprising decades ago.

[ In February 1982, Assad ordered the Syrian army to bombard the town of Hama in order to quell a revolt by the Muslim Brotherhood. In what became known as the Hama massacre, an estimated 17,000 to 40,000 people were killed, including about 1,000 soldiers. Source: Hafez al-Assad – Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia ]

Syria borders Israel and the much disputed Golan Heights, has remained an open wound since the Israeli’s took possession of it in the 6 Day War.

Assad should be considered dangerous, unstable and willing to whatever it takes to remain in control of his power, even if it means war with Israel.  He has reached international pariah status, and with the recent distancing by King Abdullah of Jordan, he has little or no support other than Iran.  He is a wounded lion and thus he will lash out at anything that appears to be a threat.

In closing today’s post:  The Middle East continues to erupt in turmoil as the body-count of Syrian citizens rises.  I believe Assad has only one option left and that is to attack Israel in hope that other Arab states join with him in the fray.  Will this be a coordinated attack with Iran, backed by Russia?  We should keep our eyes on the Middle East in general, and Syria in-particular as the flash point might be soon…

Watchers 3 – Fingerprints of the Supernatural!

L.A. Marzulli, author of the Cosmic Chess Match and popular guest on talk shows such as Coast to Coast AM with George Noory, hosts the third installment of the Watchers series. All over the world mysterious and unexplained events continue with little or no explanation from our governments or media. People are seeing multiple suns or hearing strange, anomalous sounds. NASA’s SOHO images seem to be revealing unknown objects around the sun. Planet X/Nibiru – could there be large unseen forces affecting our solar system? Then there’s the Shroud of Turin, which may be the most probed, enigmatic artifact on the planet. L.A. talks with two of the premier experts: recently knighted The Right Honorable Barrie Schwortz, whose photographs of the Shroud are iconic, and Dame Isabel Piczek, muralist and particle physicist. With the unprecedented Arab Spring, how does the unrest in Egypt, Tunisia, Libya, Syria, Yemen and Jordan affect Israel? Is this uprising of millions of people being fanned by unseen supernatural forces? Later, the world experts weigh in on the Torah Codes, explaining how science and an understanding of ancient Hebrew are both required to get the best results. What new updates have been discovered by Dr. Roger Leir? Have so-called “alien implants” become more inscrutable and is there evidence that the technology may be ramping up for some unknown purpose? L.A. Marzulli will interview the experts on each topic. Watchers 3 has the most impressive line-up so far in the series.

Dear Mr. Marzulli,

I just finished reading your book The Cosmic Chess Match.

I really liked it and believe you offer one of the comprehensive syntheses of the underlying biblical message of spiritual warfare.

I was also amazed by Madness In The Fast Lane and noticed something about it that you would find interesting.

In it we see two woman who doggedly seek death by throwing themselves quite effectively into what should be 5 quite lethal traffic collisions. Yet death eludes them every time.

This has a Revelation 9:6 flavor to it.

Sincerely,
Christian

  1. Isn’t it interesting how quick NATO was to “defend citizens” in Libya and yet the systematic slaughter of citizens in Syria is being mostly ignored. Clearly defending citizens is not the primary motive of those decision makers. So what does motivate them?

    • NWO: Gaddafi didn’t want to trade in US dollars:
      http://www.thenewamerican.com/economy/markets-mainmenu-45/9743-gadhafis-gold-money-plan-would-have-devastated-dollar

here’s a portion of the article:

Gadhafi’s plan to quit selling Libyan oil in U.S. dollars — demanding payment instead in gold-backed “dinars” (a single African currency made from gold) — was the real cause. The regime, sitting on massive amounts of gold, estimated at close to 150 tons, was also pushing other African and Middle Eastern governments to follow suit.

And it literally had the potential to bring down the dollar and the world monetary system by extension, according to analysts. French President Nicolas Sarkozy reportedly went so far as to call Libya a “threat” to the financial security of the world. The “Insiders” were apparently panicking over Gadhafi’s plan.

“Any move such as that would certainly not be welcomed by the power elite today, who are responsible for controlling the world’s central banks,” noted financial analyst Anthony Wile, editor of the free market-oriented Daily Bell, in an interview with RT. “So yes, that would certainly be something that would cause his immediate dismissal and the need for other reasons to be brought forward [for] removing him from power.”

  2. There certainly is quite a few flash points. In the meantime, Iran is getting close to having a missile capable of reaching Israel, so maybe Israel will take that out. Israel has done Cyber-Attacks on Iraq’s systems and gained quite a bit ot time in the past.

The Iranian Army would have to over-run Iraq in order to join up with the Russian Alliance. How convenient that we are pulling our troops out of Iraq by the end of December!

I’m guessing that if Syria does a missle attack on Israel….Israel will blow up The Dome of the Rock mosque, making a new site for their New Temple….while they retaliate against Syria….

Egypt is not included in the 6 nation, Russian Alliance either, suggesting that the Answan Dam is destroyed before EZ Chs 38 & Ch 39 happen.

    • Wow! There is an interesting thought, Greg! So Syria threatens to blow up Tel Aviv and Israel takes out a reactor in Iran so Iran sends a missile to hit Jerusalem and it takes out the mosque….or did they? Hmmm, maybe Israel finally has enough and takes out the mosque letting Iran take credit but actually deflecting the Iranian weapons to Damascus or …..Oh, I know that is not just how it might happen….my point is that once bombs start flying, who will know who shot what and who blew up whom? ….and I know that if I were the one in charge in Israel, I would love an excuse to get rid of that thing and let the world think someone else did it!

    • Elaine: My theory is that the Jews will rebuild their Temple on the Original site…L.A. probably knows the scriptural references better than I do. But, we do know that it it’s going to be re-built.

At the very end, Jesus returns to the Temple…and no mention of the enemy’s mosque be there, or to be taken down.

  3. greg the electrician has made some very profound points. i think Egypt is not in this group of nations mentioned in Ezk.38,39, at least as a national power is a prophecy that Egypt would always be a nation but a “base” nation or mediocre nation i think in the book of Ezkekiel. there is a radical group in Egypt that did some preaching in Tahir square that L.A. was about the only blog to even mention. let us all not forget Turkey who caught me unexpectedly 1-2 months ago how deep they are in this confederacy. they are a member of N.A.T.O. and only about i month ago Sen.John McCain put forth the idea of a joint NATO strike on Syria/Damascus just like with Libya. Isaiah17 may happen any day. another thing that could put us in a tight spot politically is NATO law says you go to war with one and you go to war with them all. GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU

    • Nick: My comment was theoritical…Turkey in the past was or had a Secularist Govt, and didn’t really incorpoate Islamic Law systems. That has changed….and the Secularist leaders and Generals have been removed.

Bush II asked to use the Air Bases located in Turkey for his war…Turkey said a huge NO! Turkey is important to Russia as the oil pipeline, I think goes thru there.

Turkey has the Master Controls for all of the dams on the Euphrates River system. There are 21 Dams if I remember correclly and each Dam has their own controls, of course…But, Turkey has the Master Controls and Over-rides for them.

BoTTom Line:: Turkey can manipulate the flow of water…even Shut off the flow for a time…OK, thus allowing the huge Oriental Army to march across a Dried Up River Bed on their way to Israel. (Revelation)

The Destruction of Babylon is by water. (O.T. somewhere) It seems that they sink into the Euphrates River, somehow.

  4. Hard to imagine Israel willingly blowing up the Temple site. On the other hand, some rogue group just might.
Same sort of possibility for an errant nuclear bomb to land around Babylon, destroying that area for decades to come.

    • it has happened to me a couple of times too when I added a link. Mine eventually posted. And maybe our intrepid host has begun to at least monitor if not moderate and that is fine with me…..we don’t want some of those pesky vids that we try to only link to but pop up here and the whole youtube screen to some awful things shows up!

  6. “Russia on Moral Crusade to Ban Abortion”
    OnIslam & News Agencies

“Backed by the Russian Orthodox Church, the bill would cap abortions at 12 weeks and impose a waiting period of up to one week from initial consultations.

It also requires women over six weeks pregnant to see the embryo on ultrasound, hear its heartbeat and have counseling to determine how to proceed.

The amendment is guaranteed to pass parliament after it was approved in a critical second of three readings on Oct. 21.”

“Russia has the world’s highest rate of abortion — 1.3 million, or 73 per 100 births in 2009.

The bill is seen as an effort by the government to reverse a population decline caused by low birth rates combined with very high death rates.

With Russians dying nearly twice as fast as they are born, the United Nations predicts that by 2050 its population will shrink by almost one fifth to 116 million.”

  7. our media keeps our citizens in the dark. keeping the dumb, dumber. and believe it, Joe sixpack does not have a clue, with what the communist ‘cnn.’ news network, piece meals to them. In Yahweh.

  8. la, great link to gerald celente. perhaps not of the same spiritual worldview as ours but he knows the deal.

there was a great article on herman cain at the gcn site also. written by john palm. it complies cain’s utter lack of knowledge on forign policy and world affairs.
although that might make him the perfect illuminatti stooge. even better than barry sotero. this man wants to be the POTUS!!??

    • Following is the link to the deceptive “Thrive” video – full length – Please watch this with Biblical discernment. This video looks at the ufo phenomena, ancient temple symbols, certain crop circle pattern, etc. which the producer believes will point to new sources of free energy devices for mankind. Exopolitics leaders and ufo contactees interviewed in this video promote the “alien gospel” Lynn has been warning of. It may remind you of the first part Twilight Zone episode: “To Serve Man”.

  9. Both Russia and China have jointly vetoed any UN Security Council condemnation, let alone any resolution, against Syria. Both have vested interests in Syria.
The Arab League has also used its wide influence and the power of the petrodollar to prevent Western condemnation to debate.
The Arab League, and the vast Arab-Islamic body of influence has had no problems manipulating the UN into action against Libya, and having NATO do its dirty work for them.
Just as the same body of influence prevents any condemnation of Arab attacks upon Israel, while it pushes for international support for the Palestinians.
Assad has already said that he will launch missiles into Tel Aviv if the West turns against Syria. No doubt he will involve Hizbullah in Lebanon and Hamas in Gaza too.
I feel the ‘glue’ that is holding the Arab-Islamic countries together is the Israeli issue, it will play a big issue in any future involvement in Syria, which will probably involve Iran.
