Sunday Go To Meeting Bun

L. A. Marzulli

“He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. Mat 10:37

It’s been 30 years since I became born again. I was 30 at the time I accepted the Lord, I turn 60 this December. I had been to Woodstock, had a guru, read everything I could about Carlos Castenada, and had a live-in-girl friend. Then the Lord found me and my eyes were opened. The girl-friend moved out and I became celibate until I met my wife – now of 26 years – and married her.

I began to read the Bible, first thing in the morning and then before I went to bed. There were nights when I clutched it to my chest, these first days were tough, as I had been in the enemy’s camp for almost two decades. As I was reading with eyes that were newly opened I came across the above verse in Matthew. My first reaction was, this God is really on an ego trip. He wants us to love him more than our parents, our wives, or son’s and daughters? Who is this guy?

I now realize that I do love Jesus/Yashua more than anyone I know, on this planet. I love Him more than my wifey, more than my children, more than my parents. I love Him, whom I have never seen, and yet I know He is the saviour and keeper of my soul. It was His love and sacrifice on Calvary that set me free. One day, I will rise into the air, along with millions of others and He will greet us their. That sounds silly, doesn’t it, like some B Sci-Fi movie. Yet, He who walked on the water, calmed the storm, fed the 5 thousand, from a few scraps of bread and fish, raised Lazarus from the dead, opened the eyes of the blind, and the ears of the deaf, and rose up from the dead, after he had been brutally scourged and crucified, certainly is able bring us into His presence, with singing and joy! It’s not a make-believe story, it’s a supernatural event that will happen one day in the future!

For those of us who are born again, and spirit filled, He is our hope in a world that is under the control, but not forever, of the Fallen One. It is He whom we look to for our freedom, our liberty, and eternal life. Yashua/Jesus is our God, the creator of the universe, the one who set every atom and quark in motion, the one who made all things.

My love for Him, is a free will choice. It has grown over the last 30 years. It has matured from thinking that God was on an ego trip, to realizing that without Him, nothing would exist! It has grown from naming and claiming what I want, to asking that His will be done in my life. Like the 1950’s program, Father Knows Best, I have found that He does know best, in fact He knows everything.

I know that there are some who come to this BLOG and don’t know Him. They have never asked Him into their heart. They have never been born again. Today is the day of salvation. Just ask and you will receive. It’s that simple. He loves you and is standing at the door of your life waiting to be asked in….

Ask and you shall receive, knock and the door will be opened to you!

  2. This ties in with today’s theme. It’s a reply I made to a 17 year old drop-out who is starting to see life outside of the matrix that his peers are still so much a part of. It is clear he is searching for truth. He’s smart, too. If there are others like him reading this, this is what my message would be to you as well.

“I’m going to post from a different perspective.

First of all,be glad that you see the superficiality of the world around you! That shows you have a spirit that has not been completely numbed from all the “white noise” in life!

Secondly, like you,I also quit school before the appointed time, but have never regretted it.(I actually left at 14,which wasn’t against the law in Texas at the time!) I had that same feeling even then, struggling to see any meaning for anything, and drinking and drugging my way into oblivion to drown out those nagging voices that were telling me “Something isn’t right!”

My point is,you do sound like one who is in search of wisdom, and already have the wisdom to realize you have been lied to. My question for you is,”Are you willing to explore to what depths those lies have been used against you,for what reason, and by whom?”

I’m not going to advocate that you join a church or anything like that, far from it! Stay away from institutionalized anything. Instead,if you get a hold of a decent Bible and ask God to come into your heart and show you what He wants you to know,if you have the faith only the side of a mustard seed, but you want to believe God is real and that there is a purpose to this life,…just ask Him!

Honestly,I accepted Christ into my life at 16,years ago,in the midst of alot of confusion and disillusionment and disappointment, but those truths I gained from studying the Scriptures have been the only thing that kept me grounded in life.

I’m not saying it made me a better person all the time. I had a few backslidden years in there when I ignored God and glorified the devil by my behavior, but have put that behind me,by His grace, once again.

You sound like a deep thinker, and if you’re smart enough to see through the lies, you’re smart enough to see “the bigger picture” through the word of God. The trouble is,it’s so simple, many just step right over it and prefer to seek what the world has to offer. (You can see how that’s working out for people, right?)

The truth is,we may be very near the “end of this age”,but that doesn’t bode well for any living thing on this planet,as God has set a time to reel it all in. Game over! He with the most souls wins! (That’s not exactly true,as God wins in the end,no matter what. He is in control.) Satan is real, and knows he is destined for eternal hell and wants to destroy all of God’s creations, from the earth itself to all those made in His image.

However,we don’t need to have all the answers, but learn to trust in the One who does. There is hope if you know where to place it,and there are answers if you’re not afraid to admit that the Bible may be the truth afterall, despite all the ridicule and disbelief. Where does that stem from anyway, why is the Bible and belief in God so marginalized these days? Think about it and you will see the biggest conspiracy of all time!

I hope you find the kind of understanding that goes beyond this world and that it gives you peace. I think the fact that seeing life as it is and that it makes you uneasy is a very good sign, and may very well be God’s way of saying to you that it’s time to look in a new direction for answers.

If you ever want to talk more, feel free to message me.

(I don’t expect this post to be taken seriously by alot of you,but bear in mind,it is directed to the OP. This isn’t a thread about whether God exists or not,blah,blah,blah,..This is a sincere response to someone who is trying to come to terms with what he sees in this life, and I respect his struggle. So,hopefully this won’t degenerate into alot of off-topic bickering.)”

Here is the thread from that site.

As it stands,I was the last one to post so far,and it might not even get any response at all. This is when it seems like I am planting seeds in the dark! I pray it would reach someone, somewhere, but we can only hope!

In any case,it will show some of you on here my kinder, gentler,”non’divisive” side!

    • Sandie; that is beautiful! I left school before the “appointed time” as well. Got my G.E.D. and did go to college and have a degree in business management and marketing. My oldest son, followed in my footsteps, dropped out, went wild, got his G.E.D. and is now in his third year of college to be a history teacher! God bless you for sharing this with that young person, may he find the Truth that we have found, salvation, and the promise of eternal life, living and reigning with Him in the kingdom to come! God bless you!

    • I consider it a blessing to not have been subjected to that much more indoctrination!

Like you,I got my G.E.D. I had a year of college, planning to major in Criminal Justice and Sociology, but with circumstances beyond my control,I turned down scholarships, and went back to waitressing while my life got further and further off track. (Never did get back to school, but that didn’t stop me from studying! The criminal mind was always fascinating to me,but now not from the same clinical and academic stance I used to analyze it from. Now it is more from the aspect of an individual just burdened and given over to sin,in need of being set free.)

No doubt your son is that much more successful now because he did have that detour and got that episode out of his life so he could see the more serious side of things in time.

Thank you for sharing your experience, and congradulations on your accomplishments!

Now,if only everyone could come to Him as little children, put aside their faith in knowledge and worldly success and focus on the benefits from His wisdom instead, finding that the joy of salvation is unsurpassed.

I find those with the most “formal education” often to be the most inadequately educated in what counts, and their pride becomes a snare and a stumbling block.

    • Wow, Sandie….I waitressed for many years while my boys were little because my husband and I could “tag team” and not have to have them in daycare.

The criminal mind has always fascinated me, too…and I wrote a psychology paper on sociopaths, I always wanted to take those tests to see if I could get into the FBI! I still have a pull toward criminal investigation and have had the opportunity to assist locally on some suspected satanic activity during a child welfare check. It’s funny kind of; not in a ha ha way, but they had no idea who to call while my husband sat in silence at his morning briefing, not wanting to say he knew exactly who could help them. You see, this is a small town, and raising your hand and explaining just why your wife could help in this situation is a little sticky, but the Lord moved him and he told them, and I was able to share what I knew, and we continue to be the watchmen in town for this type of activity.

I agree with you regarding people with degrees or multi-letters behind their names….they do tend to forget they put their sox on one foot at a time the same as the rest of us, and I don’t know where they learn to look down their noses like that!

I just want people to come to know Jesus Christ too….to humble themselves, and have a close personal walk with Him.

Thank you for sharing part of your journey, Sandie and congratulations on being an excellent watchman, and soldier for the Lord, and your accomplishments in furthering the message of the Gospel. The only way to freedom, love and salvation! God bless you!

    • Same reason I waitressed when the kids were little and my husband was also in school and working only part-time! (I don’t do it now though.)

That’s awesome what you were able to do with your abilities! Good to have you on the look-out! I think the knowledge I have gained through the years has taught me well in looking at ways the enemy, aka Satan, operates, and to understand the mentality of those in power who use their authority to do evil.

All these things have guided and shaped our minds to become the warchmen that we are. Praise God!

I think waitresses should be able to claim some kind of honorary psychological degree, don’t you,for all the different types we have had to size up in a short amount of time and then handle accordingly?! We really have to think on our feet and use all our senses, while we do all those other tedious tasks!

      Hooray for waitresses! (And waiters,too!)

  3. I went with a friend to a new church in downtown Denver this morning. The congregation was a mix of every wonder; homeless individuals, drug addicts, gay couples, single parents, widows. You could just feel everyones pain. My was heart broken. I have never seen such a congregation. The sermons message was simple “God will meet you were ever you are, in whatever situation you are in.” He’s there for you, with you in LOVE. We ended the service singing the Doxology acapella and all I could think in my mind was “Just Love.” I felt the holy spirit move through my body which actually gave me chills. I love when that happens!

Its amazing how God touches us at different times in our lives. I was just the opposite. I grew up in a very religous family. We went to church every Sunday and prayed at every meal. I was a strait arrow until I was 30 and then I met the wrong people and made some poor life decisions that left me feeling as if I was in Jacobs pit. I actually thought I was “Job” of the book of Job. For three years I felt as if God had left me and forsaken me but he didnt. I just couldnt see him in the middle of my storm. I still cant believe I made it through. My time in Jacobs pit gave me a fire for christ; a fire I know I would never have it werent for those difficult times seeking him at the bottom of my pit.

Charles Stanley says in life if your not going into a storm, then you are in a storm, if you are not in a storm, then you are coming out of a storm and your about ready to go back into a new storm.

As we approach 12:00 midnight on the end times clock I sometimes find my mind racing. What should do for christ. As if I have a list to accomplish before he comes?

The holy spirit seems to fill my heart with the same message over and over in different settings. Probably more so in prayer. “Seek Me First In All You DO and Just Love!” That’s it.

  4. Thank you, once again, for the awesome blog post. Jesus is my number one also and I love Him more than anything or anyone in the world, and I try each day to do as He would do. I pray for others, I sing to Him songs of worship and praise that just flow from me like some sweet, pristine river of deep love! This is the day He made be glad in it! As long as I put Him first, He shows me how to be a better wife, a better mother, and now a better grandmother. My little grandsons age 2 and 3 waited patiently at the dinner table last night for us adults to sit down. Wondering why these two little guys would sit and wait while their favorite pizza sat on their plates? As I was the last to sit down, the 3yr old looked at me expectantly with his big blue eyes….hands neatly folded under his sweet little chin. His little brother had balled his little hands into fists and had them pressed hard against his eyes! They were waiting for their grandma to pray over our food, as I always do and they waited for it! Oh, my goodness! I didn’t have time to get all choked up….so I started out my usual prayer…”Dear Heavenly Father” and Gavin who is 3, repeated every word I said, so I did my best editing job in my head to keep it simple and easy to say. “we thank you for this day, we thank you for this food, and we ask you to bless it to our bodies, in Jesus name, amen”! He said it all, line by line….and then we had to stop during dinner three more times because he wanted to pray again! Oh…there are no words to describe the love and joy in my heart, and as I recount the tale, it brings tears to my eyes, because if I love Jesus this much how much more does He love me? We are an influence in our children’s and grand children’s lives more than I ever realized until that moment. We just need to be the living breathing love of Jesus, and He will reflect it back to us in the most profound ways. Right before my eyes the Lord was increased and I was decreased as it was all about thanking Him who gives us each day, gives us our daily bread, and blesses us in unexpected and spectacular ways!

When we love Him above ALL else….the rest just falls into place and we don’t have to do a thing!

May God continue to bless you and your family L.A. and I look forward to your blog, your blessing to us each day, in Jesus name!

  5. I love christian music! I can just feel the Holy Spirit when I listen to it.
Below is one of the Greatest “Third Day” songs I bet you have never heard. Just listen to the words it. Its Just Awesome

  6. I was starting to get a little concerned you had not posted today, so much said. Now is the acceped time we are not promised tommorrow.Jesus is my first love! and my best friend!I thank him and love him so much.

Thank you LA for this wonderful ministry

    • Well, they obviously do work! I didn’t mean to have that happen!

I was only asking about the “XHTML:…” codes above this space!

    • It’s like having someone speaking in tounges with no one to interpret!

Hopefully Mr.Marzulli will explain this for us.

We can’t be the only ones in the dark on this matter.

  7. Excellent post!! In LifeGroup here at the UT Martin BCM, we’ve been reading through the book Radical by David Platt. If we follow Christ, He wants total surrender and total devotion to Him. Our love for Christ should be so strong that the love we have for our family/friends should look like hate. Of course we are to love our family, but there should be no comparison in our love for Christ and our love for others. Here’s a short sermon by David Platt discussing this:

  8. The day I got saved I lost every so called friend I had, the word of my salvation spread like wild wire and before you know it, I was labeled a holy roller, bible thumper, you name it. These of course were not my true friends, although I was a new creature in Christ, it was difficult to find out these were not my friends anymore , they turned on me like a viper once they found out I was a Christian. Eventually the Lord brought new Godly friends into my life and it made a world of difference.

2 Corinthians 6:14-17 “what fellowship can light have with darkness?”

    • Amen Matt. I experienced the same in my early days of being a baby Christian. As with you, God did with me and will do with any who are truly seeking His will for their lives…He replaced all my old drinkin’ and partyin’ buddies with Holy Spirit filled friends from the Church I belonged to.

Growing up in that church I thought they were what I called “Goodie goodies”. Little did I know they were only following the Lord. And God used these same people I used to make fun of to help me grow from spiritual milk to spiritual meat. I would not be here today without them.

What a difference a life surrendered to Christ makes. I will always be grateful to God for His mercy on my life

      In Christ,

      Jeff D

  9. Brother Lynn,

Thank you for sharing such a powerful testimony. It is posts like these that always humble me for I love to hear how God brought someone out of the darkness into the Light.

Were it not for my local church growing up, I have no idea where I would be today. Like Richard, my family went to church and Sunday School every week. Little did I know that God was planting his seeds from His Word as He says in Isaiah 55 during that time. All those years of Sunday School and sermons were not for naught and did not return empty after they were sent forth..

God used that knowledge to put the pieces all together one very cold December night in 1983 when I was 18 to bring me fully into His arms for eternity.

As I continued to grow through intense Bible studies at church and thankfully through people who were members at my church taking time from their lives to mentor me, the Lord gave me the very strong call to defend the faith as I had no way to know on my own how to interpret much of the Bible but I knew my old drinkin’ buddies didn’t understand why I suddenly got “Religion” and I needed a way to explain it with them without just taking what I was “Feeling” by God and testing that with my mature fellow brethren at church. I always found it somewhat funny but that is how they would approach my conversion to Christ. None of them could say the word, “Christian” and I believe because that word brings conviction through the power of Christ.

I would go on starting in 1985 through 2006 to teach others how to defend the faith in Jesus Christ while at the same time, continue intensive Bible studies at my church. As I look back I see how strongly God used the Body of Christ…the Church…to help me grow and mature in my faith.

Now my own children are involved in Bible studies as they seek to grow in the Lord. We are blessed to be members of a local church that reaches out to the community to help feed and clothe the homeless, find families willing to adopt babies saved from abortion as we serve alongside women’s shelters while at the same time ministering and helping these young mothers begin a new life and feeding not just physical bread but spiritual as well. We are blessed to send missionaries all over the world while at the same time, doing what is called “Church building” in areas of the world where Christianity is brand new.

I could go on and on about the importance of being with a local body of believers who are called by God in His Word to strengthen one another and build one another up with the spiritual gifts He has bestowed upon us. As the writer of Hebrews says in Hebrews 10:25, “Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”

Were it not for my Sunday School class, I would not be were I am today as we pray for one another, meet each others needs and the needs of others in any way we can. In other words, it is a great blessing to be part of an organized fellowship of believers who are the hands and feet of Christ to a lost world and to a world of hurting believers.

I pray others who are seeking the Lord will know He is right where you are and once He has drawn you to Him that you find a strong Bible believing Body of Christ where you can begin your journey with Christ with others who have gone before you and can share your pain and joys with you as you seek to grow in your new found faith in Christ Jesus the Lord.

    Respectfully in Christ,

    Jeff D

  10. “One day, I will rise into the air, along with millions of others and He will greet us their. That sounds silly, doesn’t it, like some B Sci-Fi movie. “Behold I show you a mystery we shall not all sleep but we shall all be changed. In a moment, in a twinkling of an eye, at the last trump, for the trumpet shall sound and the dead shall be raised incorruptible and we shall be changed. (1 Cor 15:51,52).

  11. This is why the Body of Christ is so important as I just got this through my email where I serve:

“I have a friend with a most urgent prayer need tonight. I’ve posted it on Facebook, sent it to my prayer partners, and wanted to alert you to this need before going to bed.

My friends, Sheila and Jeff, (precious Christians), have a beautiful 14 y/o daughter, Jessica, who is in Children’s Hospital on suicide watch in the eating disorders wing. Her blood chemistry is dangerously out of balance and she’s been near death. In this condition she escaped from Children’s and was alone, hospital gown, no money, no id, and according to the doctors was very near death wandering the streets near Parkland Hospital and the Dallas Market Center…at night! She was gone for almost 4 hours before they found her and got her back to the hospital. She is in critical condition, has lost 60 pounds, weighs only 100# now and is probably 5’8″ and should weigh 140. Her bulimia has ruined her teeth, her hair is falling out in clumps, and she has dark circles around her eyes. She was a gorgeous girl. Now she looks almost like those last pictures of Karen Carpenter. There are 2 critical prayer needs, first of course for her complete and total healing. Next, insurance issues. Her insurance coverage is about to end and the insurance company is insisting she be dismissed later this week. We need a miracle here!

I’m telling you all of this so that you’ll understand the severity of the problem. Just to pray for Jessica, in critical condition and on suicide watch at Children’s Hospital with eating disorders. And to pray for favor with the hospital and with the insurance company that she can stay and get the help she needs. We need a miracle and I know of no other way to get it but to gather God’s people to pray.

Pray for her parents too. They have been through the fire with Jessica and they need a healing touch from God too. Also the little brother, 10 y/o and now forced to be by himself far too much.”

I thank you in advance for your prayers for this family.

Also, I want to personally thank those of you who have chosen to stand in the gap for my own precious family as I too had an urgent prayer request. We have been under the strongest attack from the enemy that I have ever seen and it is still ongoing, however not nearly as strong as it was when I posted a couple of weeks ago. We still need MUCH wisdom and discernment in the area(s) in which we are in battle. Thank you all so much.

    In Christ,

    Jeff D

    • JeffD, I have been wondering how you and your family are doing since your desperate post on here a while ago, but I didn’t know if I should ask on a public post like this — but I continue to pray for you and your family, and hope the storm will calm down soon for you and yours.

I will also pray for Jessica and her family. I am so saddened by how these young young girls are being pushed and pressured into eating disorders, by society and peer pressure, I guess, and by the enemy himself. I pray that God will do a miracle, that He will save her and show her how very very much He loves her, and set her on a good path.

This is such a battle we are all in right now. As LA is always saying, it really seems to be heating up. There isn’t one person I know who isn’t going through some kind of trauma in their lives or the lives of their family or friends. It feels at times like the enemy isn’t just throwing fiery darts anymore but has moved on to throwing giant balls of fire or something. I don’t think there is a more difficult attack on parents than to see their children suffer. Why God allows it I don’t often understand, but He has reasons of His own, as with Job. Or, perhaps to draw us together in prayer, and to draw us closer to Him. Or for work He is doing in someones individual life, or the life of that family. I don’t often understand why, but I know He is stronger than all of it and will see us through until we can finally be with Him. We just have to hang in there, by holding on to Him.

Anyway, may we all shelter close to God in these stormy (hurricane force) times.

  12. Christian Legalism

    By Don Koenig

There is one side of Christianity that waters down the gospel and makes following Jesus some self improvement program for the successful. It is attractive to Western pseudo Christians looking for some purpose to a materialistic way of life. Meanwhile, thousands of real Christians are dying for their faith in Jesus Christ all over the world while these success motivated “Christians” listen to humanistic teachings and belly up to their church cappuccino bar.

I have already said plenty about this postmodern side of Christianity with its seeker friendly church programs and emergent church doctrines. I also wrote an article about the rising influence of psychology and the dominionists in Christianity who see a triumphant church ruling in the earthly domain of Satan. Yet, there is even a darker side of Christianity that few are talking about. Some in this darker side are the same ones who criticize the seeker friendly postmodern salvation lite message – so be very careful about the doctrine you receive. Nevertheless, the fact that there is a darker side in Christianity is not an excuse for anyone to accept the errors of those who water down and dumb down Christian doctrine and paganize Christianity with “New Age” concepts that lead most of Christianity down the path to Laodicea (lukewarm Christianity).

This darker side of Christianity makes Christianity something to be achieved by following doctrines from men who never understood the plan of salvation in the first place. These men believe salvation comes by obedience to keeping commandments and by following certain rules or rituals of practice. For want of a better term, I will call this dark side of Christianity “legalism”.

When I say these are legalistic, I am not talking about those who believe every word of scripture and apply them in such a way that can be supported in the light of all of scripture. The Christian legalists I am talking about are those who take certain passages of scripture to imply the Bible says something that really cannot be supported in its full light. I am talking about those who try to conform to the letter without having the Holy Spirit so that they are unable to apply the scriptures with any wisdom or understanding. They are like some modern lawyers of our day who often twist the truth on purpose to achieve their desired outcome of deception.

  13. “If ye love me, keep my commandments.”
    John 14:15

“And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.”
    Revelation 12:17

    Pretty clear to me.

I think there’s a good case to be made for this type of “legalism”,combined with faith in Christ, repentance, and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, which is what makes us want to follow His commandments.

  14. Revelation 22:14 “Blessed are they that do his Commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. 15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.”

“Speaking of the fourth Commandment, how many Churches today know that Revelation 13:2 states that Satan through pagan Rome would give power and authority to a Church that changed the Ten Commandments? About four hundred years ago every single Protestant Church knew this yet today Satan has succeeded in having almost all lose this truth. Our adversary’s primary goal was to have them change the fourth Commandment which Daniel 7:25 informs us would happen. Satan had purpose in this and over 65,000,000 Christian saints were murdered and tortured as heretics during the dark ages and yet most people today have no idea why.”

This is serious stuff, people! I’m not trying to harass anyone here, but we need to wake up and realize what is true. I say this in love. (“Come out of her!”)

    • Im always waging war on different sites with professed Christians saying that Jesus overrides the ten commandments so they dont have to honor them anymore…its sad and not only catholics are to blame just look at the heresey on TBN.

    • My above comment is still awaiting moderation, but there are two very complete articles linked to that give every Biblically sound reason to observe God’s commandment of Sabbath keeping.

I just don’t see why that one is so hard to except, except that “It’s just that we’ve always done it this way”. (That’s the definition of tradition.)

“Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching [for] doctrines the commandments of men.” Mark 7:7

Someone thinks “Oh no! It’s the Seventh Day Adventists!” What is that? It’s one who upholds the Biblical Sabbath and is awaiting the Lord’s return. I guess I am one then,as far as that goes. I just don’t go to a church. Even that church is in apostasy, like all the rest. God’s remnant will have to start their own little worship groups with others who want to uphold the Bible.

Good for you to hold onto the truth and not be swayed!

There’s no “safety in numbers”. Just because “everybody else is doing it” is no excuse. God saves individually, and I pray we can trust the word of God and the word of God alone in making our decisions.

  15. Amen, Dr. Marzulli. Amen to all you guys who shared your testimonies. Very encouraging to read. I am fairly young compared to brother Lynn and just started my walk with the All-Mighty a few months ago. I am frustrated to see how this world is changing for the bad but understand these things have to come to pass for everything to get fulfilled. Who knows, maybe we are really in the last 7 years before our Lord Yeshua/Jesus comes back. I believe we are but don`t want to put it on a loud speaker for everyone to label me a date setter or something.

I was raised catholic and just so you know Sandie, we didn`t change the ten commandments, the papacy did. 😉
I didn`t even knew they were changed until I started researching this stuff and eventually reading the bible. And when I got to Revelation 18:4, I said to myself that`s it, I`m out! The catholic bond is very powerful, because they talk about Jesus a lot and catholics think, this is the one true church, but they don`t know they are basically hearing only parts of the bible in the mass sermons. The catholic priest never speak about Genesis 6:4 or Rev13,17&18 for example (how could they ;)). When I say to other catholics, Rome(Vatican) is the woman who rides the beast, Mystery Babylon, they just say I am wrong and that Jerusalem is Babylon. The catholic church has a preterist view and with the counter reformation they were able to put all this antichrist stuff in the future. So many catholics will be deceived and led like sheep to the slaughter, because they don`t study the bible! The blind leading the blind.

I always wondered how much power do the fallen angels really have. Can they see the future? Because “prophets” like the Mayans, Nostradamus, Edgar Cayce and countless others have seen bits and pieces of the future with the help of occult powers. The only prophecy from the Mayans that was preserved on the stones way back about 2012 and the end of the age (their katum and other ums calendar stuff) is “He will come from the sky.” And we know they are probably speaking about the beast, the final AC. What is interesting to me is that this prophecy will probably coincide with the middle of the tribulation (the falling away and the man of perdition revealed). I am confused about this end times prophecy because I know the jesuits have corrupted this teaching and it is still present today. Anyway, all I wanted to say, that in my mind the fallen angels and demon all-ready know their end and when it will happen. For example when Jesus cast the demons out from a man they said to him “Have you come to torture us before our time?” or something like that. They just want to deceive us to share in their miserable end. Misery loves company.

    • For everyone who is interested, in this link at the 8:25 mark the Mayan calendar is explained and it continues in the 4th part of this series. The series is called Illuminati Hollywood Insiders: Beneath the Surface

    • You’re right.I should have said “papacy”. No offense against Catholics, but as you have so aptly stated, they are blind to what the Bible says.

For being a “young” Christian,it’s easy to see how much God has blessed you with wisdom in just a short time. Praise God!

I’ve been a Christian for a long time, but only in the last two years has God called my husband and I out of our old ways of thinking, and it is because of these teachings that I am led to share what we have learned with others who are willing to listen.

He wants His people to come out of the Babylonian systems, and as uncomfortable and inconvenient that is for people to admit,Sunday worshipping churches are the daughter of the mother harlot church.

    • I think there is nothing wrong with Sunday worship, what is wrong with the Sunday worship in the catholic church is who they worship on Sunday. The problem is they worship the “mother church(papacy)” and the unbiblical Mary and everything unbiblical alongside Jesus Christ instead of just Jesus Christ. Not to mention the false doctrine of transubstantiation which is the center of the catholic mass. The catholic church has their mass every day, even on Saturday, but Sunday is the most important one in terms of all the catholics coming together once a week. Devout catholics are attending the mass everyday.

The problem with catholics is they don`t worship Jesus Christ in truth. Like it says in spirit and in truth. Because they don`t read their bible and if they do, they don`t have a KJV version of the bible, but a catholic one which has many deliberate errors in it. That is why they worship another Jesus and as the bible says they have inherited lies (also other Christians who don`t follow the biblical teachings). The problem today is also that most of the catholics are not even catholic, like most of the professed Christians are not Christian. The falling away moment will reveal this and put everybody to the test.

    • Today is the 1st November. All-saints day for catholics meaning, they will attend a service (mass) today and pray A LOT for dead saints in purgatory. One example of their unbiblical worship.

    • Bozz you have soaked up more christian theology and discernment in mere months compared to what most christians do a life time. Its quite interesting and inspiring to hear and read your perspectives.

    • Frank i was wondering if you could answer a question is there a reference in the bible that explains what cursed is the man that walks behind the thorns and the thistles, someone ask me if i knew what it meant and i really cant give them an answer.

  16. In the new covenant Christ is now our Sabbath rest that is why Paul was inspiried by the Holy Spirit to write:

[16] Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
17] Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.
[18] Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,
[19] And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God.
[20] Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances,
    [21] (Touch not; taste not; handle not;
[22] Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men?
[23] Which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body; not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh.

  17. Peter R. Kraemer, Catholic Church Extension Society (1975),Chicago, Illinois.

“Regarding the change from the observance of the Jewish Sabbath to the Christian Sunday, I wish to draw your attention to the facts:

That Protestants, who accept the Bible as the only rule of faith and religion, should by all means go back to the observance of the Sabbath. The fact that they do not, but on the contrary observe the Sunday, stultifies them in the eyes of every thinking man.

We Catholics do not accept the Bible as the only rule of faith. Besides the Bible we have the living Church, the authority of the Church, as a rule to guide us. We say, this Church, instituted by Christ to teach and guide man through life, has the right to change the ceremonial laws of the Old Testament and hence, we accept her change of the Sabbath to Sunday. We frankly say, yes, the Church made this change, made this law, as she made many other laws, for instance, the Friday abstinence, the unmarried priesthood, the laws concerning mixed marriages, the regulation of Catholic marriages and a thousand other laws.

“It is always somewhat laughable, to see the Protestant churches, in pulpit and legislation, demand the observance of Sunday, of which there is nothing in their Bible.”

In spite of there being no Biblical reason to call Sunday the Sabbath, you desperately want to cling to your justifications for doing so.

“Historically, pagan Babylon worshipped the sun as a deity, and pagan Rome also worshipped the invincible sun. The Roman Catholic Church, with the assistance of Caesar’s civil Sunday law (Constantine), transferred the Sabbath rest to the Sun Day.”

I really don’t see what is so hard about seeing this for what it is.

“If ye love me, keep my commandments.”
    John 14:15
