Sunday Go To Meeting Bun – From Wellington Colorado!
Posted by lamarzulli on June 20, 2010
Yesterday I spoke at the Wellington Filling Station for around 7 hours. We broke it up into three section with a potluck dinner and some great worship music led by Joshua and Jennifer Griffen. I met some wonderful folks here. Some I’ll never forget. Thanks to all who came and listened… I think that what we did made a difference…
On to the BUN!
We are told in the Guidebook to the Supernatural i.e the Bible, that there is salvation in no other name but in Jesus Christ or Yashua, The Anointed one. After 2000 years this simple truth has been so obfuscated by the very organization that seeks to promulgate it that it sometimes is impossible for a person to become “saved!” I exaggerate to make my point, but the trappings of stain glass windows, cathedrals, basilicas, priests, robes, monks with funny hair cuts, nuns, rosary beads, candles, dark confessionals, pulpits, lecterns, indulgences, tele-evangelists and a host of other MAN MADE traditions have absolutely nothing to do with what The Anointed One gave us…. period! What turned the ancient world upside down happened on what is known as the day of Pentecost. It was this day that the spirit of the living God came down on the men and women gathered in an upper room and filled them with the Holy Spirit. This is the experience of being born again. The Anointed One (Jesus) tells us, that unless a man or women is born again they cannot enter the kingdom of heaven. What is He talking about? He is pointing to the experience that has changed millions of lives through the centuries. Again, I’m NOT talking about religion here. It is an experience that happened to me almost 30 years ago and changed my life forever. It is ongoing and continues to this day.
There is a scripture that says, “it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.” I can attest that it is both fearful and wonderful as I continue to walk with the author and finisher of my salvation. In short, I was saved, by His unmerited favor. Everything was covered under the Blood of Jesus. His sacrifice on Calvary opened the doorway, the path, the way for my salvation. What was I saved from? An existence separated from the God of the Universe. Those who are not born again, think they know what I’m talking about. The problem is, as once again the guidebook points out, “the natural man – one who is not born again in spirit and in truth – cannot discern the things of the spirit.” Those who are walking on this planet and who are not born again, have no idea of what is happening in our world, as only those whose eyes have been opened can see. Think about this. Two weeks ago when Turkey looked toward Iran and began to cut its ties with Israel, those of us who know what the guidebook says about this, sat up and took notice. The prophecy of Ezekiel 38 states that Meshech, Tubal, and Togarmah, what is now modern-day Turkey, will form a confederacy with other nations – Russia and Iran – to go up against a land of un-walled villages, i.e. Israel. Unless a person knows what the guidebook says events like this will never figure into their world view. In other words they are clueless as to what is really going on. They may delude themselves by thinking that they know, but in reality they are far removed from the truth. They are blind.
Salvation and being born again is a free gift. We can’t earn it, buy it, or demand it, all we need to do is ask for it. When I asked, I was alone in my room. It was very private and I called out to Jesus, “I don’t know if you’re real, but if you are, come into my life and change it.” It was a simple, honest request and it was answered about a month later. My life has never been the same since.
In closing today’s Bun. I fly to Philadelphia to celebrate my Dad’s 90 birthday. They live in the stone age with a rotary phone and no Internet access, so it may be quiet here for a few days. I will try to get to a Kinko’s to BLOG. Blessings to all and thank you for your continual support and prayers of this ministry.
And to the Father’s out there may your Father’s Day be blessed. Let’s not forget our Heavenly Father too.
Special thanks again to everyone in Wellington Colorado who turned out for the conference!
