Calm Before the Storm?

My friend Steve Mc Henry – who comments regularly on this BLOG – wrote me yesterday saying, “that everything was just way to calm, what’s up?” As with any major conflict the aggressor waits until he believes he has attained the upper hand, the military advantage that will make his nations campaign a success. The current situation that I believe is brewing in the Middle East is no different. Kings go to war in the spring and what we see is a jockeying for position, in the Middle East. We hear of SCUD II missiles being shipped to Hezbollah. We hear the vitriol and saber-rattling between Syria and Israel, Iran and Israel, Turkey and Israel. The we have the Jordanian King Abdullah warning that unless a two state solution is reached there will be a regional war. The Israeli’s have stepped up their program of issuing gas-masks to all 6 million citizens, a task that was initially slated to happen in a years time. The winds of war are blowing. Now there is talk, coming from The Quartet, that Israel may be forced into going back to its pre 1967 borders. Of course this is dividing the land, and I would draw your attention to the fact that this pre 67 border deal would include Jerusalem. This week on Acceleration Radio my guest was David Brennan who discussed the catastrophes that followed in the wake of the quartet’s meddling with Israel’s borders. Is this happenstance? We will continue to watch and see what develops in regard to these startling “coincidences.”  There is no doubt that the vitriol against Israel is reaching a fever pitch. Iran continues her march toward becoming a nuclear power and the so-called free world does nothing to stop her from reaching her goal. The reason I bring this up is because Iran poses an existential threat to Israel. There is no denying the caustic remarks from Iranian president Ahmadinejad. He has repeatedly remarked that Israel should be wiped off the map. Now, he has threatened to detonate what I assume are dirty nukes, embedded in US cities, if Iran is attacked. As I have mentioned before, this is right out of P.P.&S. There is a calm at the moment. No one really want to go to war, despite all the blustering and posturing on both sides. However, it would appear that the region is headed toward that day when something tips the scales and the war begins. There some of you who say that modern Israel is the Synagogue of Satan. This position is what I believe, a ploy from the enemy himself. I have asked Dr. Stephen Yulish to write an article addressing this. It is posted in this months News Magazine, but I have reposted it here as I think it nails down the rising anti-Semitism and wrong theology that is creeping into the church. Unless we understand that Israel and the church are two different entities, we will never begin to make sense out of the prophetic word….

The Synagogue of Satan concept is the real anti-Semitism

By Stephen Yulish PhD

“…the blasphemy by those who say they are Jews and are not but are a synagogue of Satan’ Revelation 2:9

“I will cause those of the synagogue of Satan who say that they are Jews and are not but lie” Revelation 3:9

I was asked by the editor of this newsletter, Mr. Marzulli to write about this concept of the synagogue of Satan as it relates to issues of anti-Semitism. A lot of people, some of them Christians, believe from these passages that all Jews are the synagogue of Satan and thus they are evil fueling much of modern anti-Semitism. The bottom line is that these Biblical passages clearly state that the synagogue of Satan are not Jews and to say so is a blasphemy and those who say so are liars. This lie of Satan has caused much harm to Jews over the centuries. Jerry Golden, a Messianic Jew who lives in Israel agrees with me and sees how these Scriptures are often misused to persecute Jews. They result in anti-Semitism. At the least, these scriptures have erroneously been used to explain that modern day Jews including modern Israelites are not the same as Biblical Israelites.

Who misuses these scriptures in this way? Hitler and the Arabs used them as do some Christians like Texe Mars. Satan hates God and His chosen people the Jews. They gave us the Temple service and the Torah and the Prophets and even the Messiah and His Apostles. Satan tried for millennium to destroy the Messianic birth line to prevent the birth of Christ. When he failed, he still has tried to destroy the Jews and Israel because this is where Jesus will return to the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem to rule and reign for 1000 years from a rebuilt Temple. He is not returning to Rome or New York or Salt Lake City but to Jerusalem. How then could Jews be the synagogue of Satan? They are God’s people. This misreading is a great lie of Satan’s anti-Semitism and it continues to this day.

I looked up Synagogue of Satan on the internet and it was described as “the secret history of evil conspirators responsible for all wars and financial debacles”. They were called the Jewish Illuminati and were the source of the world’s problems. This is why most Jews including me shun conspiracy theories because they usually blame us. One source even stated that “the media continues to prop up stories of alleged Jewish suffering (holocaust) to divert attention away from their own oppressive activities.” That is horrible.

Texe Mars, the supposed Christian author made a big deal about the synagogue of Satan motif and he even called the Star of David a star of Moloch and of Satan and said that modern day Jews are not Biblical Israelites.

These Jews were also linked to the Jesuits, the Bilderbergers and the Council of Foreign Relations. Remember these are not Jews as Jesus said to the churches at Smyrna and Philadelphia above. Thus the Synagogue of Satan is not made up of Jews a normal reading of the above scriptures shows.

Louis Farrakhan of the Nation of Islam also erroneously speaks of Jews as the Synagogue of Satan. The Southern Poverty Law Center speaks of this concept as the root of much modern anti-Semitism especially among “radical traditionalists”. Ashamed Mohammed and his radical group TEI also speaks of Jews as the synagogue of Satan. This concept is compared by Jews to the infamous “Protocols of the Elders of Zion” anti Semitic propaganda of a century before.

Many people call themselves Jews today and are not including so called Lost Tribes of Israel and some Messianics. I would not call them the synagogue of Satan but they are misled. Some call themselves British Israelites after Herbert Armstrong and others who claim that the kings of England were Jews. I have known some people who claim to be Jews and were not and often spread lies about Jews. At the least they profited from classes on Jews that they knew little about. Others call themselves rabbis who never went to rabbinical school and are just Christians but want to be called rabbis like Jesus. This really turns Jews off as it did me at one time.

The people who really bother me are the racists and bigots and anti-Semites who continue to blame the Jews for all wars and financial debacles in the guise that they are not Biblical Jews and are instead the synagogue of Satan even though Jesus clearly said that there not Jews. You could see why Jesus called them liars and blasphemers who attack Jews erroneously as the “synagogue of Satan. God have mercy on their souls.

Enter the VOLCANO’s…

A few weeks ago air traffic was suspended for almost a week as a result of one volcano, Eyjafyoll, erupting in Iceland. The eruption spewed dangerous volcanic ash into the atmosphere, which can wreak havoc with jet engines, thus the ban on air travel. There is another volcano, the evil sister of Eyjafholl, if you will, and her name is Katla. It is this volcano that I call your attention to. This volcano apparently erupts every 60 years and when it blows it is 10 times the strength of  Eyjafholl. So let’s strip this down and look at what may have interesting implications to those of us who study the prophetic messages found in the Guide book to the Supernatural, i.e. the Bible.

“If Katla were to erupt, the potential for travel chaos and economic damage would be much greater than has occurred in the last few days.”

That being said how would this impact the situation in the Middle East? Even though it would appear that these events are unrelated and they are, from a strategic military view this “natural” event could touch off the war that we know is coming. Here’s a scenario in which we could see this play out. If Katla erupts sending a cloud of ash 10 times that of its predecessor, this cloud could not only cover Europe but also the Middle East. We know that the Israeli Air Force is the thrid most equipped and trained in the world. The question is this, would an ash-cloud render the Israeli Air Force helpless? Would it ground their planes? If I were a commander of HAMAS or Hezbollah I would be watching to see if this scenario would play out, because with the Israeli Air Force out of the picture the chance of success would double, perhaps even triple. The war would be confined to the ground. It would appear that forces, other than natural one’s, may be at work. Is all of this just a coincidence? Am I reading too much into these natural disasters? Is it business as usual? Do all things continue as before and the promise of His coming is just wishful thinking? We are told to watch the signs. It is a command and it is repeated in the three synoptic Gospels. In order to be an effective watcher we have to know what to watch for. The signs we are told will be earthquakes in diverse places, wars and rumors of wars, famines, pestilence, the roaring of the waves of he sea, men fainting from fear for what is coming on the earth. When we see these things we are then told to look up because these events are signs of His coming. This is why I watch Katla and everything else that pertains to the warnings the Jesus tells us to look for.

The Nephilim Trilogy is now available!

Now Noah’s Ark is Fake?

Thanks to Steve McHenry who posted this in out comment section.

It would appear from this illuminating rebuttal that the recent claims of the discovery of Noah’s Ark are fake. It seems not only me, but Fox News, Drudge Report and a host of other media outlets all went with the story only to realize that the story is a canard. The question I have is why? Why would anyone perpetrate this kind of hoax? Is it because the know the real Ark, as the story below indicates, may be found and this would throw a damper on that revealing? I’m getting to the point where I don’t trust anything that comes across my desk. I get hundreds of Emails a day, some with stories about UFO encounters, abductions, implants, hybrids, and I try to vet them all. It becomes difficult to vet a story like this and because it was picked up by so many news outlets I assumed – I’m discovering that I can’t do that anymore – that the story was the real deal. Now, a day later all has changed. I’m saddened by this and wonder what the real purpose of creating a hoax like this is. Here’s the article that Steve posted.

To make a long story short: this is all reported to be a fake.

The photos were reputed to have been taken off site near the Black Sea, but the film footage the Chinese now have was shot on location on Mt. Ararat. In the late summer of 2008 ten Kurdish workers hired by Parasut, the guide used by the Chinese, are said to have planted large wood beams taken from an old structure in the Black Sea area (where the photos were originally taken) at the Mt. Ararat site. In the winter of 2008 a Chinese climber taken by Parasut’s men to the site saw the wood, but couldn’t get inside because of the severe weather conditions. During the summer of 2009 more wood was planted inside a cave at the site. The Chinese team went in the late summer of 2009 (I was there at the time and knew about the hoax) and was shown the cave with the wood and made their film. As I said, I have the photos of the inside of the so-called Ark (that show cobwebs in the corners of rafters – something just not p! ossible in these conditions) and our Kurdish partner in Dogubabyazit (the village at the foot of Mt. Ararat) has all of the facts about the location, the men who planted the wood, and even the truck that transported it.

To my knowledge, the Chinese took no professional archaeologist or geologist who could verify or document the wood or the structure in situ (in its place of discovery). They were duped in 2006-2007 by Parasut when they were shown a similar cave with something they thought was wood. I met the Chinese when I went with a team of geologists to examine the “wood” in Dogubabyazit and to report that it was volcanic rock (called “tuff”) and not wood. Thereafter, since the Chinese were apparently able to get permits to climb in previously off-limit sites, I and two other professionals joined with the Chinese (bringing our own independent satellite data) and went with them to Mt. Ararat in 2008. During that expedition, the guide Parasut who claimed to have found the Ark, was constantly drunk and after one month sitting in a hotel waiting, the expedition never happened. It was at this time that I made contact with Dr. Richard Bright who has climbed Mt. Ararat 33 times in sea! rch of the Ark and with several others climbed the western side of Mt. Ararat with a shepherd (who had recently been discovered by Dr. Bright’s Kurdish partner) who knew the location of a piece of the Ark. Last year we had a good expedition to a higher site (the satellite site) and this summer we will excavate the shepherd’s site and have every reason to expect success.

I am sorry to have to report that this is apparently a fake (and I am sure that the Chinese do not know this, but they do not respond to my e-mails), however, we do hope soon to have the real thing.

I encourage your prayers for me and others who will have to explain this “discovery” to many others – because negative reports are never well received and motives are questioned, especially when those doing so are part of a competitive expedition. But we do not want people to reject the truth of the Bible because another Noah’s Ark report turns out to be false. We prefer to as clear upfront in our reporting as possible so Christians (and others) can make up their own minds.

I hope that this will be helpful to you at this time,

Noah’s Ark?

Noah’s Ark found? We’ve heard this before and every time it happens I’m on the edge of my seat wondering if it could be true. You know what’s going to happen as people respond to this post? Some of you will write in and tell me that it makes no difference to them whether or not they ever find Noah’s Ark, as it doesn’t add to their faith. Well, I want to be clear that it doesn’t add to mine either, but it screams to the unbelieving world that the Bible is true and what was written thousands of years ago is not myth! This could be huge, as if proven true most people are going to have to go back to the drawing boards, in regard to their world-view. You see we have organizations like Nat Geo that promulgate a Darwinian world view. There is no supernatural and the stories in the Bible are just folk tales. However, if this latest find turns out to be the real deal, then what? If the story of Noah is true then what about the rest of the Bible? It would also blow the lid of the evolutionary theory and substantiate the global flood that wiped out every one on the planet except for eight people. It then really gets wild, as this begs the question why the flood happened in the first place, and with that welcome  to my world! We know from the Genesis account that the flood was a direct response to the fallen angels taking wives from whomever they choose and having children by them, which were called the Nephilim! We are also warned that when the son of man i.e. Jesus would come back or return it would be like the days of Noah. I’ve Blogged about this before, but will say that what differentiates those days from any other is the manifestation of the fallen angels coming to earth. (This is what the entire UFO phenomena is about.) I find it interesting that these lost artifacts are coming to light now. People have searched for the Ark for decades and so far have been unsuccessful. We also have The Shroud of Turin, which also lay hidden until recent times, the photographic properties of the Shroud weren’t discovered until Secundo Pia’s work at the turn of the 19 century. In my opinion these artifacts point to the two most pivotal points in human history, the first is the flood of Noah the second being the Resurrection of Jesus! We now may have forensic evidence – and this is precisely what the scientific community needs – that may prove these two supernatural events. In closing today’s post, I would point out that if this discovery of Noah’s ark turns out to be the real thing – and my first impression is that it is – it points to the God of the Bible as the creator of all life on this planet and destroys the idea of evolution, which up until now has usurped creationism. This discovery can also be used as an introduction to supernatural events that happened millenia ago and then to postulate that if supernatural events happened then, are they happening now? This opens the door to a study of prophecy and the uniqueness of the Bible in light of its prophetic message.
