This may be farfetched. Is it possible that the two witnesses prophecized in the Bible at the End Times are right here with us? Could Lynn and Steve Quayle be the two witnesses? If so, would they know it, or would they continue in their current roles, distributing information and being “watchmen” until their destiny and purpose is revealed to them at the perfect moment by God? Or do they already know their true identity but keep it secret until the perfect time?

I hope no one responds with a snarky attack on me, because I am serious. Is it not true that the anti-Christ will not know his destiny until a specific moment? It may be when he is arisen from the dead and possessed by Satan.

Lynn, I hope I am not revealing something before its time, but I cannot think of 2 men who fit the description of the End Times Witnesses than you and Steve. It has just hit me like a ton of bricks, and I apologize if I was not to be saying this.

  2. YES! i bought the e-book! ^________^ it was GREAT! :)

hey lynn theres an updated report on the triangle and “glowing pod in ohio…
it turns out that the pod seems to be rising from a residential area (why does this not surprise me?)
yeah and the “pod” seems to undulate as it is rising (ew!)
um yah no doubt that this thing is abducting someone from that area…or something…
whatever it is doing, it is up to no good-
there are about three new witnesses coming forward…
one of the witnesses who is a security guard at the power plant there, said she had an eerie feeling as she witnessed it, “like someone was watching her”….

  3. oh i made another comment but it is awaiting moderation? *______*

We can take the two witnesses of Revelations to be two literal persons, there are many theologies that subscribe to that, some saying it is Moses and Elijah who were both taken from the earth and are to come back as the final witnesses. I cannot go into the scripture formula of that theological view as it would be to long a procedure. however; I am of the view that the two witnesses is a symbolic representation of the ministry of the Gospel by the church on earth. Scripture reveals that the “two witnesses are the “two olive trees and the two lampstands” Rev 11:4″ A thorough study of the olive tree and lampstand show that it is the witness of the church upon the earth, just as Jesus sent the disciples two by two to witness. At present we are experiencing a “Great suppression” of the original Faith delivered once for all by the apostles.(witnesses dead) that is because we are in the days of the Great Apostasy of signs, wonders and the deceit of unrighteousness spoken of by Paul. It is the system of Antichrist (beast) He, kills them Vs7 causing this suppression of the Faith which comes by hearing the word (gospel message). There yet remains a final resurrection of the True Faith by the “last remnant” of the church of God on earth, and a powerful witness shall it be by them who love not their life unto death, it is during that time that Jesus shall return in Glory to judge the living and the dead and give unto us the reward of our patience. http://www.myspace.com/No_Hell I know that my view may be foreign to some, but I stand with the Apostles in declaring the truth and not giving heed to modern formulated theologies Titus 1:14 The Lord bless you all

Thank you for the fascinating feedback. Let it be known that my understanding of such things is limited, and influenced by the powerful yet probably controversial LEFT BEHIND series, where the two witnesses were quite real characters.

  6. yes,
i agree that the two witnesses may simply be symbolically and or metaphorically referenced in scripture…
just as malachi prophesied the return of Elijah-
and yet- the arrival on the scene of John the Baptist was fulfillment of that prophecy…
(Elijah did NOT literally return, instead, John the Baptist had the power to preach like Elijah, and it was confirmed by Jesus)
we must try to remember that Gods prophetic Word is quite literally a three dimensional, multi-layered, multi faceted LIVING thing…
yes, Jesus was quite literally the Spirit of Prophecy walking the earth in the flesh…
as lynn pointed out…Jesus was able to transverse the limits of time and space and our materiality…
he was able to speak into existence all manner of healings, weather changes, money…
and he still works many many miracles in our lives, every day…
only sometimes we grow callous to them, and we take them for granted :)

I am aware of the “left behind books”, personally I reckon that the author is misleading and as a result, a false Hope of escape (pre trib rapture) is given to souls who may find themselves in the thick of the greatest time of distress upon the earth. I believe that we should be spiritually prepared for the worse that could happen. having said that it does not mean that we should not pray for deliverance and protection from our enemies. a good psalm to become familiar with and pray is (psalm 91) http://www.myspace.com/No_Hell John B

  8. ok “john b” im gonna pose a hypothetical question to you:

what would the effective difference be between the rapture and vaporization by nuclear weapons???

    i mean effectively…

in other words, within both there is an instantaneous transfiguration into eternity?

one MIGHT involve a slight momentary stinging sensation, hehe :)

(sorry about that i couldnt help it :) im jos keeding, im not trying to scare you)

now say for example this guy on drudge right now who proclaims that he is a prophet…

and hes saying that during Christmas there will be a nuke attack on LA that will prevent obama from taking office?

(the guy is a polygamist, so no, i do not believe him for one second!)

but i mean, say it DID happen, millions would be vaporized… (thems that dies will be the lucky ones, hehe sorry couldnt help it again…its a line from treasure island :))

    so whats the BIG difference?

  9. lynn,
actually i was thinking about you the other day…
because many ufo websites are so anti-christian,
the only way i found you was to stumble upon this blog accidentally! (hmmm…no such thing)
and i was thinkin about you within the context of you getting hassled by both sides of the ufo schools…
Christians generally are afraid to talk about ufos…
the so-called ufologists are generally new age idiots who worship at the alien throne..
so the scripture came to my mind: Luke 6:23

woe to you when all men speak well of you, for so they spoke of the false prophets of old…

but blessed are you when men slander you, separate you from their company, and speak evil of you, for so they slandered the prophets of old, rejoice in that day, for great is your reward in heaven!

    wow good stuff, huh? :)

Dreeemland, even though the question be a hypothetical one, I’ll answer it. As to the outcome there would be no difference, in that eternity would be the destination and of course the location would differ pending the faithfulness or disbelief of the person, however not all Christians live in major cities. I believe that the Lord can forewarn his people for escape as he did prior to the destruction of Jerusalem 70AD. Revelations reveals the bride fleeing into the wilderness from the dragon’s wrath (God had prepared a place for her)Ch12. Throughout the church age also, many christians took refuge in wilderness locations throughout Europe escaping the wrath of papal Rome. Scripture seems to indicate that we aught not be sitting ducks. Psalm 91 and 34 reveal a promise of true hope for God’s faithful.
(A wise man sees trouble coming and prepares ahead of time). Jesus said: “pray that you may escape the things coming upon the Earth” As to my own life, it is not mine and I trust that The Lord’s will would be that I should not vaporize but rather be caught up at his coming, however, If I am to be killed by the hands of His enemies which could be a reality for many of us, I will be raised up and caught up together with those living at the time. John B

  12. john b…
um yah what you say is completely true…of course… :)
however to flee the major cities is borderline whack job level behaviour, isnt it?
because israelis live with this kind of threat every second of every day of their lives-
but they know that they cannot allow some idiot terrorist rule their lives-
they just have to trust God every day-
it could also be said that when your number comes up, it comes up, hmmmmmm?
and i mean, and as to warnings from so called “prophets” where do we draw the line?
this guy that says flee LA…he has “plural wives” as he calls them…
we must test the spirits…and check to see if the so called “prophet” has a life that is RIGHT before God…
wouldnt any warning have to be an internal RHEMA Word from the Holy Spirit?
no no i would NOT listen to ONE WORD this guy says-
because like lynn says, these are deceiving spirits that are tricksters…
this guy is gonna be SO embarrassed when LA is NOT fried to a crispy shell…
but that is the way satan works- he deceives, makes a mockery of you, then he destroys you…
we must also be careful NOT to allow the spirit of fear take over our lives…
paul said not to be shaken by any random word-
and yes, we live during the time when there will be LOTS of random words spoken designed to cause panic and trauma…
sooooooo…the question it boils down to is one of discernment-
i mean we can know the scriptures inside and out:
it is said that satan knows the scriptures better than ANY of us…
but Jesus said his sheep hear his voice…
and his voice is always one of comfort, saying “peace, be still”
on that Word i base my life, come what may…
come quickly Lord Jesus! :) <3

Dreeemland agreed, it would have to be a RHEMA word given upon which such an action to flee would be taken, a bit like Lot in his days, also agree to many false prophets (voices of confusion). Babels of theology in churches even = Not the voice of Jesus. Jesus said it would be so, “Many will come in my name saying I am He and deceive many”. I believe as you do, these are days of much prayer and discernment on our behalf. may the Lord keep you and your family safe wherever you are, wherever you find yourself to be. every hair of our heads a numbered Amen, Hey your not bold are you (sense ohumoour) John B

  14. “john b”

ummm wait…. how would you know if i have a family or not? hmmmmmm? ;)

How can the “rapture” be “imminent”? Acts 3:21 says that Jesus “must” stay in heaven (He is now there with the Father) “until the times of restitution of all things” which includes, says Scofield, “the restoration of the theocracy under David’s Son” which obviously can’t begin before or during Antichrist’s reign. Since Jesus must personally participate in the rapture, and since He can’t even leave heaven before the tribulation ends, the rapture therefore cannot take place before the end of the trib! Paul explains the “times and the seasons” (I Thess. 5:1) of the catching up (I Thess. 4:17) as the “day of the Lord” (5:2) (which FOLLOWS the posttrib sun/moon darkening – Matt. 24:29; Acts 2:20) WHEN “sudden destruction” (5:3) of the wicked occurs! (If the wicked are destroyed before or during the trib, who would be left alive to serve the Antichrist?) Paul also ties the change-into-immortality “rapture” (I Cor. 15:52) to the posttrib end of “death” (15:54)! (Will death be ended before or during the trib?) If anyone wonders how long pretrib rapturism has been taught, he or she can Google “Pretrib Rapture Diehards.” Many are unaware that before 1830 all Christians had always viewed I Thess. 4’s “catching up” as an integral part of the final second coming to earth. In 1830 it was stretched forward and turned into a separate coming of Christ. To further strengthen their novel view, which the mass of evangelical scholars rejected throughout the 1800s, pretrib teachers in the early 1900s began to stretch forward the “day of the Lord” (what Darby and Scofield never dared to do) and hook it up with their already-stretched-forward “rapture.” Many leading evangelical scholars still weren’t convinced of pretrib, so pretrib teachers then began teaching that the “falling away” of II Thess. 2:3 is really a pretrib rapture (the same as saying that the “rapture” in 2:3 must happen before the “rapture” [“gathering”] in 2:1 can happen – the height of desperation!). Other Google articles throwing light on long-covered-up facts about the 178-year-old pretrib rapture view include “Famous Rapture Watchers,” “X-Raying Margaret,” “Revisers of Pretrib Rapture History,” “Thomas Ice (Bloopers),” “Wily Jeffrey,” “The Rapture Index (Mad Theology),” “America’s Pretrib Rapture Traffickers,” “Roots of (Warlike) Christian Zionism,” “Scholars Weigh My Research,” “Pretrib Hypocrisy,” “Pretrib Rapture Desperados” and “Deceiving and Being Deceived” – all by the author of the bestselling book “The Rapture Plot” which is available at Armageddon Books online. Just my two cents’ worth. Todd
