This was sent to me last night by author and former guest on Acceleration Radio, Robert Reiland.  It is from the Lamsa Bible, which is a translation from the Aramaic.  I do not have this translation but I’m ordering it from AMAZON right after I finish this post.

You will notice below a series of stories, which are all, weather-related.  The theme on the front page of the Drudge Report this morning showed a cluster of blooming daffodils, surrounded by a blanket of snow.  DRUDGE REPORT 2013®

There are those who will look at these events and shrug them off and thus, will not pay attention to the signs that were given to us almost 2000 years ago by Jesus.

The passage of scripture above is attributed to Jesus when He is asked about the end of days.  We see Him give us a list of signs to watch for, and the last sign – from the Lamsa translation – tells us the winters will be severe.  (Look at the links below!)

I believe the signs are here for those of us who have eyes to see.  However, the vast majority of people are choosing to ignore them.  Remember the Democratic convention this summer when delegates booed when God was brought back in to the party platform? Democrats BOO GOD At Convention – YouTube  Talk about ignoring God?  They don’t want Him!  That being established, why do we believe these same knuckleheads will have any solution to the problems we face as a nation, as they deny the one who could help us out of the morass we find ourselves in?

The signs are all around us as we see wars and rumors of wars; think of the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, which is a very complex situation as the Russians added 18 warships parked off Syria, to the fray.  Think of the Moslem Brotherhood rallying millions in Tahrir Square, Egypt, and chanting, “to Jerusalem we go, martyrs in the millions.”  

Think of the current wave of flu which is sweeping the USA, or the AIDS virus which has killed millions in Africa, or the ongoing earthquakes that rumble all over the earth; the 7.0 earthquake has become the new normal.  Scroll down and read the story about the BIG ONE coming to California.

In closing todays post:  In my opinion, these signs are the birth-pains we are told to look for before the return of Jesus.  They are very specific signs and we see them manifesting in real-time now.  I believe He is coming soon.   Do you know Him?  I’m not talking about “religion” or a church with candles burning and monks with funny haircuts, stain glass windows, and dark, creepy confessionals.

Knowing Him is a real relationship with the God of the Universe, for through Him, Jesus, all things were created.  He is knocking on the door of your heart, open it and He will come in.  Ask and you shall receive.  He came to set the captives free.  He is good and He loves us.  At some point in the future we will  be gathered to  Him in the air, caught up to Him just as the letter from Paul tells us will happen and we will be with Him forever.  As we see the signs of His coming manifesting, comfort one another with these words, for He is coming soon….

Harold Camping is a false prophet, a false teacher. I was on Coast to Coast with George Noory on Friday night and stated that there would be no rapture or end-of-the-world-scenario, on May 21. I didn’t have a shred of doubt that Camping’s prediction wouldn’t happen. I take umbrage  in the fact that Camping’s rants obfuscate the work that real watchman, like Matthew Miller, Bruce Collins, Richard Grund, Stan Deyo, Russ Dizdar, yours truly, and others do on a daily basis. As I have stated before, I believe that we are in the birth pangs. What is dangerous about men like Camping is that the media got hold of this and had a field day, as stories were posted in much of the major media outlets. May I suggest that this event was Satanically anointed? It accomplished a lot for the kingdom of darkness in  that those of us who are really trying to sound a warning will be lumped in with that “kook,” Camping.

I believe in the Rapture and the reason I do is because the above verses tell me that an event will happen, a mystery, something that is concealed and then at the appropriate time will be revealed and we will be changed in a moment, in a twinkling of an eye. Changed to what? To our new incorruptible, heavenly bodies! It would appear from the text above that this event will happen at some point. NOTE: Please refrain from arguing as to when this will happen! PLEASE! 

I closing todays BUN, I will tell you a waking vision that I received a while back. I have posted it before but will do so here again. First off, I don’t get many of these, and it’s not something that I seek or cultivate in any way. It was a gift from the Lord, in my opinion.

I was getting ready to go into the shower and then I was taken, as Paul says whether in the body or out of the body I don’t know, but I was in a “heavenly” scene and I was in the air. There were people all around me spaced about 20 feet apart, we were not packed in like sardines! There was a holy silence as everyone who was there, knew exactly where we were, what had happened…. we had risen to meet the Lord in the air! It was a holy, reverential silence. I was there for about 3 seconds. 1. I find myself in the Heavenly scene. 2, The Holy reverential silence. 3, I realize that my sin nature is no longer in me! Then I’m back. It was that fast. Just think, our sin nature is gone at that point! I have to tell you that it was liberating and I noticed it almost at once…. amazing

I hold to this vision as a promise of what will come. His word is true and at some point He will gather us and we will be with Him. I do take comfort in these words. I do believe in the literal interpretation of them. Camping’s antics have caused a lot of damage. The scoffers are having a field day, some believers may have doubts in their faith. Others who follow Camping may be completely disillusioned. In the end we need to pray for those who got caught up in this false movement and we need to never back away or become silent in warning the world that we are in the birth pangs and the He really is coming soon… but no man knows the day or the hour.

So, what do Harold Camping and Ra-El have in common? Answer: They are both misleading those gullable enough to listen to them. Camping claims that the end of the world will come on May 21, but wait, Ra-El says that he’s the second coming!  I’m confused here, one of these two has to be wrong, because you can’t have the end of the world if the second coming has already occurred… can you? I’m only going to address this once as there are more pressing events, like the Mississippi river flooding, the Fukishima Reactor meltdown, the Arab Spring, 7.0 earthquakes, fish and animal die-offs, and Arnold Schwarzenegger’s love child…. wait, how did he make this list?

Seriously, we are warned that in the last days many would come and say, here is the Christ. Yashua/Jesus tells us this, before,  there is a church, an orginazation that promulgates His teachings, or a New Testament. Think about it, it is the claim of a demented, man filled with delusions of grandeur, unless, of course, He was who He said He was.

Fast forward to 2011 and we have yet another, in a long line of imposters, that claim to be “the second coming.” Adding insult to injury is this Camping fellow, who is getting lot’s of main-stream press. The problem being that when the end of the world doesn’t happen the media can have a field day. What is damaging about Camping is that other researchers, authors and Biblical scholars, who are interested in prophecy – people like me – get lumped in with him and in the eyes of the media we’re all just a bunch of wacko, religious, fruit cakes!

In Closing todays post: In my opinion these two guys are further proof that we are in the last days, as they are false Christ’s and false prophets that we are warned will come during this time period. I do believe that we are in the birth-pangs that Yashua/Jesus warns us about. The world is teetering on the edge of financial, social and economic collapse. Combined with all the natural disasters and man-made catastrophes these are the warning signs that the real Yashua/Jesus told us will happen just before His return.

Below is a copy of an email that I received in regard to contacting Lord Ra-El. It was reassuring to know that Ra-EL is familiar with my work and is generally pleased with it. I don’t think he will be to pleased after this post though….

Rapture: Keep Our Eyes on the GAME!

There are many comments about the Rapture recently, so I have decided to address the issue again. Actually, all the debating about when it happens proves my point! It takes our eyes off the GAME and focuses on proving that what we believe is right.

I believe in the Rapture of the church. I believe that at some point we will be taken up, to meet the Lord in the air, literally. I have had a vision of this and what left me speechless was this. We were gathered together, but there was space between us. We weren’t packed like sardines! Everyone knew exactly what had happened. There was a holy silence, a still reverence, as we all knew where we were! Then, I realized that my sin nature was gone. It wasn’t there anymore. I had been changed in an instant. Then the vision ended. All of this took place in less than a minute. I sometimes tell people about that when I’m speaking. Now that that has been made clear here’s an analogy:

It is the 4th quarter of a football game. Our team is behind by 3 points! We are down at the 25 yard line, deep in enemy territory. A time out has been called and we have about 2 minutes left in the game. We are muddy, bloody, sore and bruised, but we are focused as we belive that we can win the game! We go back to our huddle, arms linked together in fellowship. We listen as the quarterback clears his throat, and we are expecting him to call the play. Instead, this is what he says. I have a big date tonight with the head cheerleader, and we’re going to get burgers and then see a movie. The team stands up and looks at the quarter-back in disbelief. What are you talking about? They shout at him. They are angry and rightfully so as the quarter-back has lost his focus and his mind is not on the game.

Now, while this might seem like a simple analogy and I admit it is, it does provide what I hope is clarification of the whole rapture debate. We should be concerned about destroying the works of the devil. We should be shouting a warning that a time is coming upon the earth that is unprecedented. We should be declaring the good news. We should be calling out and exposing the lies and deception of the enemy, who is seducing our children, killing the unborn and spreading a false gospel. We should be standing up against the crazy world system that celebrates Lady Ga-Ga and a lip-locked Brittany and Madonna. We should be declaring that Darwinism is a theory and not a fact. That Jesus was real and not a myth. That this is still a Christian nation in spite of what our clueless president would have us believe. In short we need to keep our eyes on the game, and not argue about when it’s over!

In closing today’s post. I know that at some point I will hear the trumpet and at that moment, in a twinkling of an eye, I will put on immortality. However, I’m in a cosmic “game” and it’s not over until that trumpet blows. It’s not for me to know when we get snatched away, as is so evident by all the infighting it produces. The fruit of that is division. If we are intellectually honest, no one really knows. So let’s keep our eyes, where they belong. Let’s stay in the fight. Let’s dig in and win!

Every morning after the wifey and I have had our reading from the Guide Book to the Supernatural i,e, the Bible, I sit at my desk and scan the comments. Most of the time I leave then well enough alone, but this morning some of the comments have caught my attention and so I decided to post on that subject which instantly divides Christians, The Rapture.

We are told that we shall rise to meet the Lord in the air. I love that passage. I have had a vision of it, and I posted it here shortly after I received it. I believe in the Rapture of the church. I also belive that the Shroud of Turin may be evidence of the first rapture, Jesus resurrection! Now I’m really ticking some of you off! LOL!

Seriously, we know the Rapture will happen at some point and as demonstrated by some of the posts yesterday, this can be a hot button issue. Most often it divides us rather than bring us together. That being said, what are we instructed to do? We are instructed to destroy the works of the devil! We are living in a time that is unprecedented. The enemy grows bold and the supernatural is manifesting like never before. There are signs in the heavens! Earthquakes like the one today at 7.5. Volcanos that threaten to choke the skies. The gulf stream that may have stalled due to the oil spill. The AIDS epidemic that continues unabated. The slaughter of millions of unborn babies in abortion mills around the world. The New Age deception that tells us that we can be god. Satanic ritual magic that is pumped into our homes via, Lady Ga Ga. With all of this happening in our faces some of us want to argue when we get taken up! It’s exactly what the enemy wants. It is nothing more than a distraction that keeps us from carrying out our mandate of destroying the works of the devil!

I’ve said this before and I’ll post it here again. I have sat through lectures with charts and graphs, by very well-educated men that preached on the three different positions of when the rapture can occur. They all can’t be right! If we are intellectually honest, we can agree that in fact no one really knows when it will happen. I’d rather be fighting the works of the enemy until I get beamed up, than arguing when it’s going to happen. To me it’s pointless.

The endless debate about the rapture takes our eyes off the ball. It removes us from engaging the enemy and destroying his works and instead sets us against each other. We know the well-worn adage, divide and conquer and this issue is certainly divisive.

At some point it will be self-evident as to when the Rapture occurs. That said, it’s none of my business as to the when of it! He is in charge of it, not me. I would rather spend my time posting about the Great Deception that is all around us. Trying to awaken the sleeping church that is unaware of the coming great apostasy. Pointing to the signs that we are told are the birth pangs, in these last days. Speaking boldly about the promise of eternal life through the shedding of Yashua/Jesus’  blood. Most of all rescuing those who are caught in the deception!

In closing today’s post. When I had the vision of the Rapture, we were all gathered in the air, as far as I could see. We weren’t bunched together like sardines, but were spread out. There was a silence, a reverent silence because all of us who had been gathered knew exactly what had happened and where we were. There was also no sin nature. We were all translated in a twinkling of an eye and made like Him. I can comfort you with these words and they are comforting to know that at some point they will happen, but I will not badger you as to when …. Fight the enemy not each other!

Today on the show Dr. Bill stated that there will be no rapture. Respectfully, I disagree and wanted to put this in writing so there would be no confusion as to my position. It’s his show and I’m respectful of that. On the other hand I believe that scripture is very clear when it tells us that we shall all be changed in a twinkling on an eye at the last trump, when we are gathered to meet the Lord in the air! Sounds like the Rapture to me. As Chuck Missler quips, we’ll explain it to him on the way up! LOL!

The Rapture of the Church…. A Vision

I get asked all of the time about the rapture. People want to argue as to when it occurs. Some even have charts and graphs and a certainty that it will happen when they think it will. I want to get one thing straight from the get-go here. Please don’t try to convince me or anyone else as to your position. If we are intellectually honest, no one really knows. I consider myself Pantribber – it will all Pan out in the end. While some of you may think that I’m being capricious in my remark, I assure you the reason for it is that some Christians get rabid over their defense of when the Rapture will occur. I also was recently told by someone who said believing in the rapture was anti-biblical. My response was this. How can you say that when Paul specifically points out -

1Cr 15:51 Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed-

1Cr 15:52 in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.

1Th 4:15 According to the Lord’s own word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left till the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep.  For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.

The word rapture is not mentioned in the text, but the phrase caught up – which I highlighted – when translated from the Latin, is Rapturo. This is where we get our use of the word Rapture. It seems very clear to me, from the texts above that this is a real event that will happen in the future. In short it is our blessed hope. I am a firm believer in this event for scripture tells me it will happen. We also have the Shroud of Turin which shows that this translating of the body happened during the resurrection. Jesus was the prototype of this as his body was changed in a twinkling of an eye. Now here’s what I want to say. A few months ago I had a vision. It was more of a mental picture but it was amazing. I wasn’t doing anything special. I wasn’t praying or fasting or thinking about scripture. I was going about my business when suddenly I got this very vivid picture in my minds eyes. This is what I saw. I was in the air and around me were thousands of other people. I was about 20 feet  away from the next person. As I looked around I realized that we were all on the same page. We all knew what had just happened. No one was wondering where they were. We were all in the air with the Lord and as the text says, we had been changed in a twinkling of an eye – we had been raptured. It was a somber, holy moment. No one said a word. There was a reverential silence as everyone knew that his or hers sin nature was gone for ever and we were in our immortal bodies. Then the vision ended.

The rapture of the saints – those who believe on Him who was sent, is our hope that one day we will be like him. We are to comfort one another with these words…. Beam me up!
