Kathleen Sebelius won’t waive regulation for girl with five weeks to live: ‘Someone lives and someone dies’

“I’m begging you,” Rep. Lou Barletta (R-Pa.) told Sebelius at a House hearing Tuesday morning, asking her to suspend the transplant rules until they can be revisited. “Sarah has three to five weeks to live. Time is running out.” The child has cystic fibrosis.

So let’s cut right to the chase and ask the hypothetical: Hey Kathleen, what if it’s your child that need the transplant?  These people are really a piece of work.  I’m reminded of Jay Carney who stated, Benghazi was in the past.   Hey Jay !  What if it’s your son that got killed?  It appears both Sebelius, as well as Carney show zero compassion or empathy when it comes to the lives of someone else’s loved ones.  This is what Obama care will do for the average Joe.  It will set up the death panels to decide who will live and who will die.  Oh wait!  Unless of course you are one of the elite, like Sebelius or Carney!  There’s no way there loved ones will wait in line for the transplant!  And if Carney’s son had been killed in cold blood in Benghazi you bet your food-stamps he’d be calling for a full investigation.

In my opinion, Sebelius and Carney are so out of touch with what the rest of America, and their own words prove to me they haven’t got  a clue.  By the way, how do you spell condescending?

Obama care will prove to be the most disastrous, restrictive, government boon-doggle in the history of the world!   We are just seeing the tip of the iceberg, as demonstrated by Sebelius.  Please recall my posts a number of years ago where I stated if the Federal government couldn’t complete a fence along our southern border, then how would they ever hope to manage health care for 300 million people?  Answer — they can’t!

In Closing todays post:  Hopefully Sebelius will cave under public pressure and do the right thing by “bending the rules,” so that this child lives rather than dies.  After all Kathleen, if it was your daughter I’m sure the lung would have already been transplanted and the child well on her way to a full recovery.

Judge Napolitano is one of my hero’s.  His show was taken off FOX News, in my opinion, for being too much on the cutting edge and acting as an opposing voice to the bloated government we now have.

Where do we go from here?

  With the recent events in Boston, we must ask ourselves, where do we go from here?  How can we possibly legislate our safety?  We stand in lines at the airports and submit to full body scanners, TSA pat-downs, searching of our private possessions without a warrant, and as demonstrated by the tragedy in Boston, none of this has made us safer.  How do we respond to a mother who supposedly states she will praise Allah for the death of Americans and the death of her sons? WHOA!… Zubeidat Tsarnaeva Tells CNN: “I Don’t Care if My Youngest Son Is Killed. The mind-set reflected in this brief phone call to Zubeidat Tsarnaeva reveals a world view which is foreign to most of us.  This ideology is the same which spawned the birth of the suicide bomber.  In my opinion, it is a twisted logic which most of us here in the west find repugnant.  It is a death wish.  To say God is great for killing Americans, her sons and herself, is beyond the pale.  It is contrary to what we see in the Bible when Jesus tells us: I have come that you might have life and have it more abundantly!

Yesterday Rand Paul seemingly flip-flopped on his stance against the use of drones on American citizens, which I’m sure will be used to hunt down terrorists.  Activist Post: Rand Paul flip-flops, says drone strikes on U.S. citizens on U.S. soil without charge or trial are okay

He now appears to condone the use of drones in “certain circumstances.”  We are moving to a police state that would make George Orwell, blush.

So what do we do?  Do we ban all Immigrants whose backgrounds are Middle Eastern, or Islamic?   Do we deport everyone who holds to Islam.  At least one Imam has denounced the bombings so there is a ray of hope.

I’ll take a moment and turn the tables here.  What do we do with the white Neo Nazi groups that are here?  Do we deport them too?

In closing todays post:  As Americans we love our liberty and our freedom.  However there is no way government, any government, can ensure our safety all of the time.  It’s impossible.  There is no way to legislate our safety, we can’t control what people think.  If we roundup every gun the nut case bent on killing will find another way to cause mayhem.

The America I grew up in 50 years ago is a far cry from the America we see today.  We have abandoned the God of the Bible, pushed him out of our schools, taught our young people we descended from apes, and embraced Darwinism.  We have allowed violent video games, endless bloody, body counts in movies, and created horror films which show human mutilation.  We are now the most medicated society in the history of the world.  Our soldiers come home from an endless war and many wind up killing themsevles.

In Philadelphia a “doctor” is on trial for the killing of babies.  Now the lawyers argue if the babies were alive and what constitutes being alive.

Are a nation under judgment?   What will it take for the American people to rise up and take a stand and say enough is enough?  What will it take for the pastors of the churches to alert the people of what is coming?

Where do we go from here?

This video is a much watch as it sheds light on how gun control was used in the South, after the Civil War, to keep the Black man down and unarmed.  It is a portion of our history which has been ignored, in which the KKK used gun control to spread fear and hatred..  You would think the media would have picked up on this clip, but of course they are in lock step with gun control.  In the Other News Section, V.P. Joe Biden, poles fun at the “black Helicopter crowds” concern for the eliminating the 2nd amendment.  Sorry Joe, but I don’t trust the guys on the  bottom left, including our president.

The Second Amendment was drafted into our constitution for a reason.  It’s not some frivolous words on paper which can be changed at a whim.  It protects us from the possibility of tyranny.

We are being legislated to death.  The government controls almost every aspect of our lives, from how big a soda we can drink, to what our houses look like.  We are taxed at every turn, from cradle to grave and even after death!  Yet our bloated, out-of-touch-with-reality, government sends 450 million dollars to the Moslem Brotherhood in Egypt!  Where is the outrage?  

Throughout history, as seen on the photos on the bottom left, dictators have rounded up the guns from the people shortly after they came into power.  What happened next was a blood bath.  People were rounded up and put into camps.  Others were lined up and shot.  Take a good look at this photo.  This is real and it could happen here.  What deters it?  The 2nd Amendment.  While Uncle Joe may joke about the black helicopters, we now have drones in our skies spying on Americans.  We have a president who has allowed the killing of civilians oversees, if they are suspected of being a terrorist!  What happened to due process?  Our emails are monitored as is every purchase we make with the swipe of our credit cards.  It’s out of control folks and unless we push back they’ll take our guns too.

Once again we see the left using this as an excuse for the elimination of the 2nd Amendment.

So we are creating bubbles and bubbles and bubbles. This bubble will come to an end. My concern is that we are going to have a systemic crisis where it is going to be very difficult to hide. Even in gold, it will be difficult to hide.

Cyprus has reopened its banks, but according to news sources, withdrawals are limited and no cash is allowed to leave the country.  There is also talk of private savings account being raided, how’s that for redistribution of wealth?  I believe Cyprus is a microcosm of what is going to happen here and the article by Marc Farber confirms my suspicions.  I can also ratchet up my paranoia when I read stories about Homeland Security buying 1.2 billion rounds of ammo!  I thought Al Qaeda was on the run and if so who are they going to use all that ammo on?  Hmmm.  http://www.wnd.com/2013/01/feds-to-hold-ammo-advantage-over-states/

The original deal did not include the wind-down of Laiki bank, instead imposing a 9.9pc tax on deposits over and above €100,000. Now, those same desposits, if they are in one of the island’s two largest banks, stand have as much as 30pc to 40pc wiped off their value.

What is happening on a tiny Island thousands of miles away from the tranquil shores of America, certainly and will never-in-a-million- years happen here…. can it?  Don’t be so sure and here’s why.  Investors who have their money in Cyprus stand to lose as much as 40% of it.  So if there was $100,000 sitting in the bank and you were thinking about retiring in a few years your nest egg was cut $40,000!  Time to head back to the salt mines.

This crisis is being manipulated and managed by an elite group of bankers, and what we need to grasp is that the same situation can happen here.

This is the primary reason why Governor Rick Perry wants to bring the Gold that belongs to Texas back to Texas instead of storing in a New York bank!

Marios Mavrides, a government MP and former finance minister, raised the prospect of the country becoming the first to leave the euro. He told BBC2′s Newsnight: “If we cannot come up with the €5.8bn in a few days then I think we will go to the Cyprus pound. That will be the end of Cyprus in the eurozone. We’re going to exhaust all other possibilities but what can we do? If we have no other solution we cannot leave the people without money.”

Cyprus is in the midst of a financial collapse and unless it can borrow 5.8 BILLION in a few days, as the article above states, it will leave the Eurozone.

Europe is a nanny  state with excessive taxes and government handouts.  The problem is the government can’t give everyone the entitlements it promises, as the there aren’t enough workers to support it!  Will Cyprus be the straw that breaks the financial back of the Euro?   While Cyprus struggles, Spain, Portugal, Italy and Ireland are also on the financial skids.  The reason for this is simple.  High taxes and BIG government, with entitlement programs for everyone from cradle to grave.

Now let’s swim across the pond and look at The United States.  We are 17 trillion dollars in debt and going deeper in debt, as I write this.  Our government is trying to legislate all aspects of our lives, and taxes are at an all time high!   Meanwhile, The-Obama-gave-me-a-cell-phone-crowd,  doesn’t have a clue as to the grim fact that we are hot on the heals of Europe’s financial crises and the possible collapse of the Euro as well as the Dollar.

Americans did not pay taxes until the 20th century.  For those of us who don’t have a grasp on American history – perhaps some of the 20 million illegal aliens who are residing in this country – the big government we have now did not exist, and Americans KEPT what they earned.  Now, we work about 3 to 4 months out of the year for the government.  We are nothing more than modern-day serfs, supporting the bloated tick-like government which is taxing and spending us into oblivion!  One of my hero’s Judge Napolitano puts it all in perspective when he says, a government is best that governs least.

In closing todays post:  We ned to keep and eye on what happens to the Euro, as if it goes the dollar may follow suit.  Is this financial collapse being orchestrated?  Most likely yes, as I believe there is a cabal of men and women who want a New World Order, an elite ruling class that will micro manage every aspect of our lives.  Cyprus may be a test-run of how the people will react when the banks are closed and folks can’t get their money.  Some of you will say, It can’t happen here.  However, I would warn that the collapse of the dollar and the social chaos which would follow is a real and chilling possibility.  In the meantime, let’s keep an eye on Cyprus and what develops there.

Analyst estimates Chávez’s family fortune at around $2 billion

Criminal Justice International Associates (CJIA), a risk assessment and global analysis firm in Miami, estimated in a recent report that the Chávez Frías family in Venezuela has “amassed a fortune” similar to that of the Castro brothers in Cuba.

According to Jerry Brewer, president of CJIA, “the personal fortune of the Castro brothers has been estimated at a combined value of around $2 billion.”

“The Chávez Frías family in Venezuela has amassed a fortune of a similar scale since the arrival of Chávez to the presidency in 1999,” said Brewer in an analysis published in their website.

Brewer said that Cuba is receiving about $5 billion per year from the Venezuelan treasury and in oil shipments and other resources.

“We believe that organized bolivarian criminal groups within the Chávez administration have subtracted around $100 billion out of the nearly $1 trillion in oil income made by PDVSA since 1999.”

Hugo Chavez succumbed yesterday to a lengthy battle with Cancer.  There are rumors that our CIA was involved in his demise.  I’ll leave that to the Conspiracy Blogs but will address another disturbing dynamic of Chavez’s reign as El Dictator.   Like Saddam Hussein, Hosni Mubarak, Yasser Arafat, The Marco’s of the Philippines and pretty much every other dictator, these  guys make sure they pad they’re wallets!  In the case of Chavez, who nationalized the Venezuela’s oil industry, attacked private business and was elected president for life, he made sure he had lot’s of dollars, perhaps as much as 2 billion!

Why did the people of Venezuela let him get away with it?  Because many are uninformed, uneducated and don’t understand the basic foundation of liberty and freedom!  Guess what, we’re in the same boat here as we have about 20 million illegal aliens who have no idea about the principles by which this country was founded on.

Our schools are re-writing history and our young people are ignorant of what our founding fathers went through to obtain the freedoms many of us take for granted.  However, our government passed another 800 laws the first of the year.  Our government rammed Obamacare down our throats, passing it without ever reading it!  Our government continues to spend us into oblivion and yet whines like a three-year old when it is told to cut spending!

We are a nation that is now a people who are living in volunteer serfdom.  We work all year only to hand over our 20%, which is our PROFIT, to the government who then hands 250 BILLION of it over to Egypt!

The people of Venezuela deserve better, but unless they understand the basic principles of freedom and liberty they are doomed to have another dictator who will pad his wallet with their hard-earned money!

Speaking of which, I wonder how much the tax payer spends on Obama’s 100+ rounds of golf?

If you read this column very often you know the frustration and disgust I feel for our government, their profligate spending, their all consuming passion for self-preservation, and the inevitable fall at the end of the ruinous path they seem so determined to force this nation down.

You know I’m deeply concerned about the rapid erosion of personal liberty and our president’s cavalier attitude toward the Constitution and consolidation of power into a monolithic central, federal government, a bureaucratic nightmare that makes and enforces the rules, controlling even the administration of health care and the curriculum our children will study in school.

I fear the rampant apathy and lackadaisical work ethic of the entitlement society will become so deeply ingrained in the coming generations that the nanny state policies of this president and others like him who are likely to be elected will gradually drain the wealth and the will of the population until the well is bone dry and the confusion and anger of those who are suddenly left to fend for themselves will overrun the streets of this nation resulting in chaos and bloodshed.

I fear that this nation and this planet are in the midst of a great apostasy, or falling away from belief and faith in God as cults, false prophets and faddish feel-good religions pop up and capture the attention of many.

Even some of the old-line Christian denominations have tried to modernize their doctrine, bending the curve to accept things that are forbidden in the Bible, conveniently ignoring or subverting scriptures that fly in the face of the new age dogma they now embrace.

Anti-Semitism is on the rise around the world and while Islamic fanatics scream about the destruction of the State of Israel, the dominos in the Middle East fall one by one, with only the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan preventing the fulfillment of the ancient biblical prophecy that Jerusalem would be surrounded by armies.

Yes, I am very concerned about Israel. It is not the land of my birth, but when I became a Christian I was grafted into the root of Israel like a wild olive branch grafted on to a full-grown tree. The Bible says that salvation comes to the world through the Jews, the race of people by which the Creator of all mankind chose to reveal Himself to the world, the race into which my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ was born, the land where He would live and die on a cross for our sins.

How could any true Christian not be concerned?

Street gangs, flash mobs, drug cartels, incurable diseases, wholesale abortion the tearing down of traditional marriage and nuclear families, child molestation, the belittling of American exceptionalism, the export of manufacturing and jobs, murder, rape, home invasions, it’s enough to give a person a nervous breakdown, but then I have to stop and think. This world is just a short stop, only a testing ground on my eternal journey.

Any earthly leader or government, no matter how pervasive and powerful are only temporary place holders who will eventually pass into oblivion and be reduced to dust.

Israel will be battered and bloody but will never be completely destroyed and 85% of the vast armies allied against her in the final battle will be annihilated in the Jezreel Valley near Megiddo, known as Armageddon.

This earth with all its awesome military might, pompous politicians, mega-rich magnates and all the evil the powers of darkness can bring to bear are no more than a grain of sand compared to the indescribable power of the One who created the planets and flung them out across endless space, He who can part the sea and make the sun stand still.

Only One is Omnipresent, Omniscient and Omnipotent, He is everywhere, He knows everything and He can do anything. And yet in all His Majestic might, he cares for you to the point that He knows the number of hairs on your head.

His name is God, Jehovah, Yahweh, Dios to Spanish speakers, Gott to the Germans and so on, but He does have, always has had and always will have the last word and be the final judge in the affairs of mankind.

He will write the final pages of history.

We will all stand before Him and give account for our lives, every king, every president, every dictator, every super star, every human being.

Lord, please help me to keep my confidence in You and my mind on eternal things to come. Amen.

“absent policy changes—-the federal government continues to face an unsustainable fiscal path.”

I like Bill O’Reilly’s show The Factor, but I like his talking points segment the best, as he usually nails the issue he’s addressing, with the pithiness he admonishes his fans to use when writing to him.   Please take a minute to click to the link above.  O’Reilly is making it very clear that unless the government changes its fiscal position, there will be a collapse of the US dollar.  I have been warning of this in past BLOGs and I’m reminded of what J. Vernon McGee was fond of saying, “The chickens have come home to roost.”  We are now approaching 18 Trillion dollars in debt and this is more than alarming.  Obama has added more to this debt than all of his predecessors combined.  This debt is unsustainable.

What O’Reilly doesn’t broach, perhaps he’s wise in not pointing it out, is that all of what we see is being deliberately orchestrated.  Why would any sane person carry on with the suicidal fiscal policies we see this administration insisting on?  It is fiscal madness, and yet the guys at the top keep spending and taxing us into oblivion.

So, in my opinion, here’s what I think is may come down in 2013.

1.  There will be a false flag incident at some point where the US will declare Martial law.   Perhaps another terrorist attack, but this time a dirty or live nuke will be used.  Watch for cross state-lines border checks, with TSA goons at all check points.

2.  In order to do this there must be gun legislation firmly in place, so the citizens will comply.  This is the stumbling block the NWO guys are having trouble selling to the American people.  Some states have already refused to carry out Obama’s gun control laws.
