Syrian opposition claim dozens killed in ‘massacre’ by Assad forces — RT News

Syrian opposition activists allege that government troops have killed at least 85 people during the storming of a Damascus suburb following five days of fighting.

According to the Syrian opposition, the number of victims of what they described as a “massacre” at the Jdeidet al-Fadel area in the country’s capital may be higher than 250, including women and children. However, it was impossible to independently verify the information.

The bloody civil war in Syria continues as the forces of President Bashar Al Assad continue to fight the rebels.  This latest news demonstrates the regime’s brutality and commitment by Assad to hold on to the reigns of power at all costs.  There are now reports that Assad has used chemical weapons against his own people. Israel Says Syria Has Used Chemical Weapons – NYTimes.com

There is also Assad’s orders which call for a full-scale attack on Israel if Syria is attacked by outside forces!  Assad Threatens Israel if Syria is Attacked – Middle East – News – Israel National News

The situation in Syria is becoming more desperate with no end in sight.  What happens to Syria if Assad goes down?  Will the Moslem Brotherhood then step in and create another state like we see in Egypt?  Will Al Qaeda seize the opportunity to create a Sharia state and perhaps carry cross border raids on Israel?  Will Iran step in, as some have already suggested, and set up a puppet government?

Since the Arab Spring the Middle East continues to be unstable and which is an understatement.  Scroll down to In Other News, and see the story of what is happening in Iraq, as the sectarian violence between Shia and Sunni Moslem spirals out of control.  There seems to be no end to the bloodshed and the horror of war.

Over a million refugees have left the Syria and any sense of a normal life is a distant memory.

Tensions High After Riot at Syrian Refugee Camp in Jordan – NYTimes.com

Through all of this, miraculously Assad has managed to stay in power, at least for now.  He’s being propped up in part by Iran and the Russians.  However, at some point this must come to an end and when the dust clears one wonders what will be left.

    Welcome back. :)

    Looking forward to Watchers 6!

ZERO coverage in the media for any of this. By all rights no country including the USA should be offering any kind of support to either side in this thing but of course that ship set sail a long time ago. Both sides are awful. There’s no good guys in this thing and it’s past hypocritical and ironic that a lot of these rebels are the same “terrorist types” we’re supposedly enemies with.

I think it’s a literal miracle of God that the Middle East as a hole is still as “relatively stable” as it is. This Syria thing is past any point of rational reason whatsoever.

    Boston:

The Boston PD commisioner called the two brothers “actors.”

This is the kind of thing that just makes one take pause. It’s around the 1:25 minute mark. Kind of a strange gaffe.

    • LookingUp said

Could just be a bad choice of nouns, actors in that they were participants in the event which is also a definition of the term.

    • John T said

It’s ironic that one of the Boston bomber’s name(Dzhokhar) is being pronounced “joker” by some on tv. Cruel reminder of aurora.

    • Just old school, Eric. Short for “bad actors” as another name for perps.

      Definition of BAD ACTOR
: an unruly, turbulent, or contentious individual : troublemaker =Nick’s horse was a notorious bad actor, a kicker — D.M.Mankiewicz= =the boy became a bad actor early and ended in reform school=

      Definition of PERP
      : a perpetrator especially of a crime

As for pronouncing the names… Oddly enough the “k” is silent, but the glottal “h” might be perceived as a “k.”

One more slap at the little guys–small business and consumers alike–by our friends in Congress like Durbin who know what’s best for us, be it another amnesty, more gun control, or this. Democrats are like cancer to our economy. We won’t recover until they’re washed out of the Washington swamp. I wonder how many of these geniuses figured out how much it will cost the bean counters to implement such a scheme. My bet is they don’t care, watch for prices to rise if this passes and rise far and fast.Another huge tax on those who can least afford it.

    • John Michael said

Never forget that as believers were set apart, were not of this world were born into. The key is to stay out of the worlds business, so as not be transformed to the world, instead keeping ourselves close to God and being like Christ in all we say and do. Reading from the word of God daily, memorizing scripture so as to lean unto it at a moments notice. More trouble is coming, for certain, we can’t escape it, that which the fallen have planned for us. Life is going to get more difficult for all of mankind and when we think it can’t get any worse, the rapture, in a twinkling of an eye we will be transformed forever. We’ll be removed from the sin and violence that surrounds us, peace, joy and total freedom in Christ Jesus. God will not allow us to go through the worst of it and we must be steadfast in our dedication to Him, loving Him with all our hearts, minds and souls.

The tribulation, I wouldn’t wish on my worse enemy as a third of mankind will perish and all will suffer greatly, at the end of it, God’s wrath will be poured out upon His creation. Time is short, witness like there’s no tomorrow.

Live for Him that has saved you and turn away from the world and it’s false promises.

      Love to all,
      Maranatha

That was awesome. yet kinda scary….

Well, it certainly looks good on paper, guess we will have to wait and see.

    • Matt said

It’s very difficult for me to “stay out of the worlds business” due to the fact I am here living in this world now…so of course I will get involved in what affects me and my family. I have a hard time with the Zen type attitude of the Lord will provide, not that I doubt that but, he also wants us to live in reality. Quoting scriptures and bible verse is great and should be encouraged but it won’t put food on my families table or keep a roof over our heads. God expects us to work and provide for our families and try our best to make positive changes in the world. I always pray for the protection of my family , however, I have a back up plan as well, I have a 9MM by my bedside, that doesn’t mean I doubt Gods promise, it just means I feel he expects me to have the God given wisdom to take precautions in case things get a bit dodgy. That said, I do respect your blind faith, its quite encouraging.

    • Matt said

By the way, I mostly agree with your post; it was very good. It’s very solid commentary and as I said, looks great on paper.

    • Rose from Kentucky said

      The Word of God says:

“A prudent [man] foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished.” Pro. 22:3

“But if anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for members of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever. ”
      1 Tim. 5:8

And, in Matthew 25, Jesus talks about the 10 virgins, the three stewards, and the sheep and the goats.

The wise virgins were PREPARED for trouble (oil is a commodity – not the Holy Spirit. For those who say it represents the HS, why can it be purchased in the market place? Can someone buy God?) The fearful servant was damned because he refused to enter into the marketplace. And the sheep were divided from the goats according to their actions on earth.

The Bible directly contradicts what John Michael has said here. He is engaging in false piety – the gospel of nice. It’s one of the reasons our nation is in the trouble it’s in. Christians quit standing against evil and became passive.

    • Rose,

I believe the oil is a sign, like the wine and bread of communion. As such, I believe it represents but is not of course the Holy Ghost. So in the parable of the wise and foolish maidens (or virgins in older english, cp. foolish vs wise in Proverbs), the very notion that the oil is the same as the Holy Ghost and can be bought points to secularized idolatries, similar to idolizing the wine and wafer.

Of course, “The Anointed” is Messiah, Jesus Christ, through whom the Holy Spirit is poured without measure — which must be spiritual — the oil being only an outward sign.

What was it that John Michael said that needed correction?

    • Rose from Kentucky said

Read what John Michael wrote, then read what the Scriptures I posted say. It is very clear.

    • John Michael said

      Matt,
using the term “the worlds business” didn’t mean not to work, earn a living to purchase what you want with your monies. I should have used a different word so as not to confuse my point. God tells us not to be transformed to this world, a world that I was living for until I was changed through my salvation. The world calls us all and I’m pretty sure most people struggle with the things of this world.
As for your comment, “it looks good on paper” My bible looks good on paper.

      Rose,
Really? You said, “The Bible directly contradicts what John Michael has said here. He is engaging in false piety – the gospel of nice. It’s one of the reasons our nation is in the trouble it’s in. Christians quit standing against evil and became passive.”
      Directly Contradicting the word?
ROMANS 12:1-2 Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect
False Piety? Really? Give me evidence from any of the posts I’ve written over the years. The Gospel of Nice? I won’t even respond to that. I wonder what you’re going through right now for this kind of response to what I wrote.

    • Rose from Kentucky said

It’s true, we are to set ourselves apart. But, then what? Do we simply read our Bible, pray, and think good thoughts and wait for Jesus to wisk us away… because that’s the advice you gave Matt.

What does the Bible actually say?

Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. Matt. 5:13

This is about what is going to happen in our country – the Christians are being thrown out because they’ve lost their savor. They no longer influence public discourse or set public morals. Why? Because we’ve allowed satan to take over the instruments of policy.

Your over spiritualized answer to Matt’s very relevant comment is a perfect example of this.

    • Rose from Kentucky said

      Remember what James said?

Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? 2:17-20

      Rose,

Let me correct something, I mistakenly put my comment after Matt’s post about internet sales tax. It’s not the first time I or someone else put their comment after a post instead of starting a new topic or thread. I’ve never had a problem with you in the past and I won’t have one now or in the future. You have an axe to grind and have chosen me and what I said as the grind stone. You’re not in a good place right now, in my opinion as I’ve read your posts for quite some time. Not sure what’s going on with you. I will say this, I love L.A.’s blog and will continue come here to read what he has to say, but will refrain from reading any more comments/posts and that way I won’t add to or take away from what you’re trying to do on this blog. good bye

    Kristen:
I read your post yesterday and I am praying for you and your husband. I have been commisisioned by Yeshua Ha-Mashiach as a Prophet, with a prophetic prayer gift. You said that you don’t want a divorce, God told me to tell you “Don’t”. Simply do not divorce your husband, be sweet and kind and loving, but do not agree to divorce. You do not have to do anything man ever tells you, but obey only God, and He says do not divorce. Carry on as usual in your life with your husband and live as if you are not divorcing. Do not respond to man’s will but God’s alone. Man sets his plans but God has final say. Do not respond as if divorce is truth, for now it is merely a fact in your husband’s mind. Pay it no mind and live in the victory that was won for you on the cross. Jesus died for your marriage. Let God have the power here, do not grieve what has not yet happened. I do not say be in denial, but also do not respond with emotion to man’s word, do not give it any power with your tears, even if your husband thinks he is certain. Wait on God, live as if you are married forever and believe God has something good coming for you.

your NOT a prophet, or you wouldnt brag of being one. Dont ever give yourself a title, then you become ‘entitled’ and then you expect to be given what your entitled to.

No one ever said marriage would be easy. I’m not a prophet, not even close, but I can tell you from life experiences, marriage is not easy.

    • Kristen said

Truth-Teller thank you for posting this. I have been feeling that God has placed what you said on my heart. But I have been struggling with hopelessness. Believing that this is the end for my marriage. When I do pray. I feel God’s strength and love. I’ll feel like he’s working and our marriage will mend. Then afterwords I become completely discouraged and full of grief beyond comprehension. It’s been a rough few days. I am still praying!! I pray for God to change my husbands heart.

  10. moonpye20 said

Please continue to pray for me. My husband still wants a divorce. He comes home May 10th and plans on getting the paperwork done. It has been a battle spiritually for me since Sunday. I have been praying. I just feel hopelessness at times.

    • Matt said

I understand how you feel, I’m not sure what lead to his decision to want a divorce, however, marriages end because of selfishness… only takes one. Sometimes though, time changes people, and those changes can cause couples to grow apart…sad but true. Life isn’t easy and some people are too selfish to put the ones they supposedly ‘love’ first and try to work through those changes life brings. Simply put, life happens. Not everyone can stand the lows and hard times during a marriage. It’s all happy and dandy when everything is right, it’s in the hard times when the real character of people show up…Marriage is difficult and people just don’t want to invest in it as much as they used to.
Relationships are about many, many things. And they are never easy. Each person changes and grows in many areas of life. Some couples draws close together, and some pull them apart. Some people work together to remain close, and some just have other priorities. There are too many variables in ONE relationship, let alone trying to sum up ALL relationships. Things change for everyone, and sometimes change brings people closer, and sometimes it tears them apart. As for me, I would never want to be with someone that didn’t want to be with me. I would be forever feeling like they are not happy and somehow I am forcing them to remain with me for my own reasons. I couldn’t live with that over my head… It’s sad when you’ve already learned to be a part of someone’s life and then end up being strangers. Sometimes in life we have to decipher the time to be a true friend or the time to be a true lover, and realize when the time is to let go of someone who is in our lives. It has been said to believe who someone is the first time that they show you who they are, and to never hold on to someone who doesn’t want to be held on to. When it comes down to it, many of us choose to hold on to people who dont want to be in our lives because we feel some amount of emptiness inside.

Instead of filling a void by clinging to someone else, we have to deal with living a life with our best interests in mind, and prepared and committed to living a life on a search for inner fulfillment. When we are able to be filled ourselves, we are then able to help fill others, and pour into others.
I will pray for you that God will give your hearts desire for your marriage.I am so sorry you are going through this, I know it hurts.

While the U.S. Federal Government is embarrassingly furloughing federal employees from their jobs, including federal courts, Obama & Biden are giving away $125 MILLION DOLLARS OF OUR TAX MONEY to the Syrian rebels who, if they overtake Syria, will doubtlessly attack Israel in the Gog Magog War and U.S. soldiers if they should defend Israel. Obama luvs giving OUR MONEY to the Muslim Brotherhood. Maybe the White House, Congress & the Senate should furlough themselves.

    • Matt said

The members of the House and the Senate do not care about our country, our constitution, hence their fellow Americans and legal aliens. I do not know why I keep signing petitions, writing letters, and calling these elected officials or should say Traitors. We have an illegal president and the other elected officials who are accomplices to all the criminal and treasonous acts that are being displayed. Many of these elected officials have in fact committed the treason themselves by presenting and or signing bills into law that is unconstitutional.

    • It’s crazy to believe that an administration that only enforces the part of migration laws that they want to will do any different with new laws or new taxes. Particularly when the laws are thousands of pages long which the lawmakers have not read. That’s like saying, the GOP put in parts ABC and the DEMs put in parts XYZ to create a compromise… and then the DEMs only execute XYZ.

Of course, they’re no different than the “pretty boy bombers” — the same wickedness is behind “pretty boy Assad” or “pretty boy Obama.” (Thanks Matt!) It’s not the shoe salesman that does the wickedness, it’s the demon possessed shoe salesman that’s lost control and played puppets. Our war is with the rebel angels and their demonic offspring, not humans. Love your enemies!

  13. Interesting fireworks on Russ Dizdar’s Occult Crimes course tonight. Just after the start of the 3rd hour a trojan came through blogtalk and killed the feed for many of the listener’s including me. I brought up audio again using google voice and direct dial in. Microsoft Security Essentials caught the attack, which it cleaned. Later I did a full scan to make sure. The interesting thing is that it was a “police virus” extortion type of trojan, That type was a major issue in Russia and migrated to the US last year.

Advise using firefox and adblock to kill possible vectors, adware popups. Have already requested recompense for the attack — from the Lord God Almighty. And just notch another overcoming on the record. All credit to Jesus Christ who is manifest to destroy every wicked work of the devils. 🙏🏥🎯🎶🙌
