Apparently O’Reilly is angry and in his opinion, righteously, because he spoke out against Obama’s lack of control over spending in Washington.
My Question: Why get angry over it to the point of calling it righteousness? He is defending himself against Alan Combs from the White House.
I believe in saving one’s strength and picking battles wisely otherwise always being angry over everything diminishes the power and value of “righteousness.”

God got angry because of sin:
1….”because they have done evil in My sight, and have provoked Me to anger since the day their fathers came out of Egypt, even to this day.’” (2 Kings 21:15)
2. The wrath of a king is like the roaring of a lion; Whoever provokes Him to anger sins against his own life. (Proverbs 20:2)
Here’s my favorite because I recognize that situations (i.e. murder, persecution, genocide, holocaust, wars, famine, abortion, etc.) make me angry but I’m warned not to sin because in my anger, I could be blinded from doing something to rectify either myself or the situation:
“Be angry, and do not sin”: do not let the sun go down on your wrath, (Ephesians 4:26)
I have to start the day in a positive manner otherwise anger will ultimately kill me and and I won’t be much good to anyone or anything.
You don’t think Jesus got angry?
“When He had made a whip of cords, He drove them all out of the temple, with the sheep and the oxen, and poured out the changers’ money and overturned the tables.” (John 2:15)
Boy, imagine Jesus wielding that whip in the temple! What would He now do since He holds all power over good and evil?

I think what you’re seeing here is an example of “new think” in terms of good and evil.
It is now politically correct, “good,” to be positive; and politically incorrect, “bad,” to be negative (or angry) – except over certain pre-authourized subjects like the right to abortion for minors without parental consent, or the right to kill innocents abroad simply because they may be suspected terrorists.
This positive/negative idea has replaced true/not true. I recently had a run in with someone who told me to quit being so negative, and I replied that I don’t give flip about being positive or negative, I care about what’s true. It not only shut down the conversation, it quieted the room.
In our post postmodern world, truth is not considered. So getting angry at true evil is a little like trying to walk on water – there’s no cultural philosophical support for it.

I’ve seen and heard Father Jonathan Morris before and feel he is a pretty good guy as far as catholic priest go…which is not very far. However, O’Reilly better watch it or he may find himself excommunicated

um hes also a gay priest to. did anyone know that?. he is. also, i wouldnt want to be a ‘New Yorker’ right now. did anyone happen to see the other nite, when Bill O’Reilly was angered over Gov Cuomo announcing that having a, partial birth abortion is ok with him? and that its a womans right to do that to her child? made me sick!! hearing that evil man declare that! pissed me off. i was in a bad mood all nite over that. abortion breaks my heart. i have a gut feeling something aweful will happen in NY soon.

Balaam was mad. He gave right prophecies concerning Israel but also taught them to do evil. I believe his motive was money.
Said of a wavering faith in James 1 “a double minded man is unstable in all his ways.” I believe that also applies to the situation with Balaam.
Bill O’Reilly has sided with those that doubt the Bible. He follows his own opinion about Christ and would likely call that reason. He doesn’t follow Christ. Like Russ Limbaugh he’s used to cause strife.
You’ve heard that a broken clock is right twice a day. On some things BO’R is right.
Obama is used to leverage political agendas (and worse) with federal spending. He’s also used to exterminate innocents. The point is that he’s used and likely a ready vehicle for the rebel angels to enter and direct — at will.
It helps me to keep in mind that those like BHO, BO’R, and RUSHBO are inhabited like judas was — when the rebels want to further their efforts. It’s folly at best to give any credence to them or learn their ways. They give their spins — and especially — the supposed “no-spinner.” Don’t get caught in its web.

Marlene, I have to respectfully ask you how you are aware of Father Morris’s sexual preferences. As far as I know Father Morris has never admitted to this, so your accusations are just that, accusations without merit. Now if you have proof, photo’s etc… I could entertain the idea he could possibly be a homosexual, but just because he is a catholic priest does not make one gay. I have a catholic priest in my family and I assure you he is not gay.
It’s a tough world out there and even tougher when we are labeled, gay, homophobes, racists, of whatever the flavor of the day is. It’s easy to call Father Morris a homosexual when he is not around to defend himself. Now if he has issued a pubic statement to the fact he is gay ,then I stand corrected, other wise its just gossip and a poison tongue wagging in the beeeze.When you accuse someone of such things, you cant say, oh he or she is gay, then have absolutely nothing to back it up…not sure the Lord would approve of such idle gossip.,,just sayin..

@lookingup, i didnt mean it in the way that, the view is truthful all the time, in fact i never watch it anymore, it was a few times that i tuned in, they are too rude on there. Now i feel attacked over the whole priest thing. Look, you guys have your convictions,and i have mine. this blog is turning into a ‘catholic rant blog’.

The outgoing Pope made an interesting comment the other day he said that “the past few years have been very difficult for him personally as well as for the church and at times he felt that “the lord seemed to be asleep.”
All I can say to that is, you try staying awake through a Latin mass. I’ve been to a few of those and to this day I still don’t know how they end.

I was raised Catholic. I feel your pain Matt. My relationship with the Lord has blossomed into something special since I left. Not to say some Catholics aren’t on fire for God. I just wasn’t feeling the closeness and love I feel now.

I guess I didn’t pick the best time to fly over to Israel. My departure date is April 14 and I’m hoping to hike the 600-mile Israel National Trail over the next two months. Between the on-going heat wave, the locusts, the shells landing in the Golan and the media-driven riots in the PA areas, along with Obama the little anti-christ stirring things up…it should be an “interesting” two months there.

Hopefully a video will come of it. But whether my feet and knees and back can handle it is another story. I’ve done the major trails in the US (the Appalachian Trail, Continental Divide, Pacific Crest) but that was over 20 years ago for some of those. I ain’t as young and flexible and ready to take abuse anymore.

Well, this might not be all bad news. John the Baptist is said to have eaten them with honey. Never tried it myself , but I suppose almost anything tastes good when you deep-fry it. Might need ketchup, though
I have tried roasted grasshoppers and they are not too bad. Ate them during a survival class. I wouldn’t exactly call it comfort food but it was good and crunchy plus filled with protein.

So, Bill says he’s only interested in bringing things to the light to protect us all. Then, why isn’t he talking about the shell game that is the “debate” on the drones? We should only be concerned about the government using them to kill American citizen??? Really??? It’s a total misdirect. Drones will be a blatant abuse of power to use them for any type of covert surveillance PERIOD without first getting a warrant to do it. If they can’t tap a specific phone line on a specific person without specific purpose, what in the blue blazes gives them the right to do pre-emptive surveillance on the general populace? And we all know that’s really what this is all about.

I’ve been wanting to see Comet Pan-STARR all week and finally had a chance tonight. Clear as it could be to the naked eye. I’ve never seen a comet before. I think tonight is the last chance, so if you’re west of central Texas and you’re interested, it’s visible just before/at sunset in the western/southwestern sky (for me) and not too high above the horizon..

Did you notice the promo for the Comet Siding Spring, “with the potential to be the most memorable of them all”? It has the possibility to collide with Mars on October 19, 2014, and if an impact does occur, the explosion would be on the scale of the one that fried the dinosaurs here. Disclaimer: I don’t believe there was an explosion that caused the extinction of the dinosaurs. Anyway, it would be a huge deal. Plus, the impact date is only a calculation. If it happens, could it happen on the 8th of October instead to coincide with the blood moon of Sukkot? Hmm. So many reasons to be looking up.

Hehehe, that’s great, although it seems they are missing the sloped forehead of the Neanderthal, even Bigfoot has a cone shaped head.
