A blessed day in the Lord to all. Keeping the prayers cranking for Gary, Chuck Smith, and Pastor Hector.

Israeli elections are tomorrow. Got to keeps tabs there always.

You couldn’t pay to me turn the TV on today. That’s all I’m going to say about that although I certainly salute MLK. I’m not going to salute the person trying to make it all about himself as usual and frankly I’ll never salute that person for anything. Ever.

    • Pudding said

Amen on that, no TV day for me too, I’m not interested at all in hearing anything about this pagan festival. :þ
MLK is a million times more worthy.

      Just a thought…….
I hope the tree of life has coffee beans on it.

      Agree Eric, on all points.

Probably something even better. Ponder on that today. :)

Blessings to you both. Hope you’re feeling well today Pies. :)

Thanks Eric. A bit slow, using my cane is cumbersome, and dangerous for Gunny. I am clumsy, so I have been trying to teach my 15 yr old son to cook simple things. This morning I asked him to boil water for oatmeal. The smoke detector went off, need I say more! lol He blurts out, ‘like mom, like son’. The Lord has blessed me with much, including humor. :)

    • Impossible to turn on the TV today. Even tonight, reruns and excerpts on all news shows. Leave the tube off. I keep my TV so I can watch special shows like Downton Abbey. I saw the really good version of Les Miserables on PBS too, a while back.

Larry Taylor’s blog said that Gaga was at the inaugural…I suppose that means at the “ball’. That is something which says it all about our standards. Pity the poor youngsters who love this type of performance.

    • Eric W. said

Definitely agree on Death of a Nation.

Keeping you in prayer, Pies. I know you have your ups and downs like the rest of us and I’m sure there’s some days that are real doozies but you set a beautiful testimony and example with your faith, good humor, and gracious attitude, believe me. :)

PRAISE THE LORD! :) Just got some good news about Gary. He finally turned the good corner and is on the upswing. They’re expecting him back at work tomorrow. Keep praying! :D

I read that this morning, LU. The only part I had angst with was when the cleric said, the only reason he did not participate in the beating of the gay, was it was against his religious beliefs. If it was in his heart to do so, he was already guilty.

      Agreed.

from a comment on that attempted assasination story (interestingly familiar?):

i cant imagine how a man could use a gun in front of every body it is insane or is he under a drug it is absurd. when you go true that story again and again you can only imagined one thing that is the guy was set up because an assassin set for that kind of a mission cannot afford to fail like that.

      Jay,

Those verse’s are not in context with my expierience.

I’m not pointing you to someone at some location or telling you to believe another doctrine, I am telling you I had an encounter with the the Risen Jesus in his glory and power.

So by definition you don’t believe any of the Letters of Paul?
Saul had an encounter with the Risen Jesus or does Matt 24:23-26 mean Paul was lying or decieved? No it doesn’t, Jesus can do as he pleases and visit anyone even you if you only believe it is possible.

      Read Acts 9:3-9

Almost two years after the awful nuclear disaster occurred, a fish caught near Fukushima on Friday January 18th had a record-breaking level of radioactive contamination over 2500x the legal limit. TEPCO measured ‘Mike the Murasoi’ at 254,000 becquerels per kilogram (with the limit for edible seafood at 100 becquerels).

” Newspapers may soon have to re-open their Tokyo bureaux, shut down long ago when the investment bubble burst and one Lost Decade stretched into another.

We all watch with disbelief as China and Japan rattle sabres over the Senkaku/Diaoyu islands, so like the seemingly minor events that drew Europe’s alliance systems into conflict from 1911 onwards.

Both graduated to fighter jets last week: Japan sending in F-15s; China deploying J-10s, and mobilising the East China Sea fleet for live ammo drills.

China’s purpose is clear. It is testing the US security umbrella, and Washington’s willingness to risk conflict to back Asian allies. There is a minority in Beijing who think America is a busted flush, a mistake made repeatedly by different powers over the last hundred years.

The possibility that the world’s three largest economies could come to blows — as feared by US defense secretary Leon Panetta — is a sobering thought. “

  7. Local mini-holocaust: Yesterday a pastor, formerly at Calvary Albuquerque where I attended for a while, was killed by his 15 year old son, shot. Also shot were the pastor’s wife and his three other children, Zecharia, Jael, and Angelina. Pastor Griegos was his name. Stories were not clear about his recent pastoring duties, but for one he was the Fire Dept. pastor SW of Albuquerque. I would suspect more pharmaceutical drug involvement, wouldn’t you? Didn’t even make the national news, I guess. You heard it here.

A tragic event non the less.

      It is a tragedy.

    • Jay said

” I would suspect more pharmaceutical drug involvement” are you implying that the prozac and other drugs that I use to take are demonic or evil? Are you implying that pharmaceutical drugs themselves are inappropriate? Lets be smart here. Of course most “unbalanced” people take drugs but that does not mean the drugs are the problem-the illness is. Remember in Psychology 101, correlation does not mean causation. In the summer more crime is committed. In the summer more ice cream is sold. Should we assume the abundance of ice cream causes more crime?? I was once married to a “christian” lady who forbade me to take any prescription drugs. She also threatened to leave me if I didn’t get her pregnant within a few months of marriage. And her church…they turned their back on me and shunned me. They labeled me as mentally ill cause I suffered from depression and obsessive compulsion disorder. Where was the love and understanding? It wasn’t there because so many “Christians” are so quick to label others and put them in box because they are uneducated; becasue they want to blame it on sin and the devil. I suffered for years because of this. But God has given me wisdom so I can help others who are like me.

    • Rose from Kentucky said

Modern psychiatry is quackery; there is no scientific basis for it. The psychotropic drugs are based on presumed “imbalances” in the brain, and there is no scientific evidence to support it.

The connection between specific serotonin re-uptake inhibitors (SSRIs) and mass shootings, suicides, and other violent acts, is too well established to even argue.

The psychiatric profession has been used by totalitarian regimes for more than a hundred years. It is malevolent, poisonous, and not a science.

If one’s personal experience has not resulted in catastrophe while using these drugs, consider that person blessed.

    • LookingUp said

Jay, the main point is that even though there is a clear connection between SSRI’s and violence amoung young people, NOBODY is talking about it. Whether it’s correlation or causation, it’s not being mentioned regardless of the fact that side effects from these drugs for young people are especially dangerous because of the stage of their brain development. The agenda is to abolish our 2nd Amendment rights, not have an intellegent discussion about what is causing the violence.

I am sorry for your experience with the “Christians” in that church.

    • Rose from Kentucky said

It’s not just young people, LU. That sad story about the grandfather who shot his entire family after only two doses of Prozac when he had NO criminal or violent behavior in his background and NO reason to do it.

Those two little pills shattered his life.

These pharmaceuticals are part of the eugenicist agenda and should be banned. And those who propagate them should be imprisoned.

    • LookingUp said

I’m sorry, Rose. I didn’t mean to imply they only effect young people, just that they especially effect them. I found an article by Dr. Gary Kohl with that list that LA posted, and read some of his other articles. He said that the US has 10% of the world’s population of children, and we use 90% of the drugs prescribed for them. The left may come down on guns and tobacco, but they’ll never touch Big Pharma. Revelation 9:21 says people will refuse to give up their drugs. I used to think that meant illegal drugs but don’t anymore.

We’ve talked about this before on this blog, but one of the worst parts is that there are no clear tests for any of the issues that SSRI’s are supposed to treat, so they’re prescribed purely based on behavior and emotion. The same symptoms can be caused by a large number of chemical imbalances in the body, like thyroid over/under activity, viatamin deficiencies, etc., but I’ve never known of a doctor who actually took the time to do comprehensive blood work before putting people on SSRI’s. They should be sued for malpractice.

From Dr Martin Luther King Jr’s Letter From A Birmingham Jail, 1963 (excerpt)

There was a time when the church was very powerful–in the time when the early Christians rejoiced at being deemed worthy to suffer for what they believed. In those days the church was not merely a thermometer that recorded the ideas and principles of popular opinion; it was a thermostat that transformed the mores of society. Whenever the early Christians entered a town, the people in power became disturbed and immediately sought to convict the Christians for being “disturbers of the peace” and “outside agitators.”‘ But the Christians pressed on, in the conviction that they were “a colony of heaven,” called to obey God rather than man. Small in number, they were big in commitment. They were too God-intoxicated to be “astronomically intimidated.” By their effort and example they brought an end to such ancient evils as infanticide and gladiatorial contests. Things are different now. So often the contemporary church is a weak, ineffectual voice with an uncertain sound. So often it is an archdefender of the status quo. Far from being disturbed by the presence of the church, the power structure of the average community is consoled by the church’s silent–and often even vocal–sanction of things as they are.

    • LookingUp said

Sad but true and more true by the day. The early church knew they had nothing to loose and everything to gain – Christ. Today’s church thinks it has nothing to gain and everything to loose – money, comfort, status.

What I wrote yesterday about my mother and the struggle i experienced for her soul, may be of help for others. Dont think that the devil wont try to steal your parents’ souls, if you leave them in the hands of home care, or in a hospital or nursery. They will use drugs, lies, mental pressure, and many other techniques, that the spirits teach those who works under their dominion. Keep your parents at home, no matter what people say. (if they want to stay at home). If you dont believe this, you can read about similar situations in Rebecca Brown’s book He came to set the captives free. She tells about how demons were using nurses at the hospital where she worked. Those nurses were either witches or were under some new age influence. Very nice and pleasant people, as long as they had their will with the patients. And that will was to bind their souls, so that the patients could not pray to God or Jesus, or understand the gospel if someone shared it with them.
I felt i had to share this. I’m not here to create discussions, as yesterday. My aim is to share what God gives me. If you dont believe what i say, just leave it. It wont harm anyone, unless you are a devil who gets scared when the living Word comes around.

    • Eric W. said

” My aim is to share what God gives me. If you dont believe what i say, just leave it. It wont harm anyone, unless you are a devil who gets scared when the living Word comes around.”

      What a proclamation.

We’ll match it up against Scripture and 1 John 4 it up or down and see what’s what.

Hope you do the same. :)

Definitely would agree with you about dumping the elderly off at the nursing home and driving away and never looking back. Anyone that does that has some bigger problems.

There can be circumstances where there may be no choice. If that’s the case, all I can say is: Shop smart and visit as often as possible.

    • LookingUp said

I’m sorry Life, but it COULD harm someone who, because of your post, could be influenced to actually believe the devil can steal anyone’s soul in a nursing home or anywhere else. Show me the Scripture, please. People make the choice to give him their soul by default if they reject Christ as their Savior. If they are believers, Jesus keeps them. He promised His disciples that He would not loose anyone whom the Father gave Him, and there are many, many more promises like that to us.

I am sorry your experience with your mom was so horrific. I wouldn’t want anyone I know to be put in a nursing home unless it was impossible to do anything else. Some people have no choice. Please don’t add unnecessary and unwarranted guilt and fear to someone faced with that decision. Like Eric said, shop smart, visit often, and make friends with as many staff members as you can.

I am sad and troubled for you, Life. You seem to have no confidence in the God of your salvation. Do you really believe the Lord is such a whimpy, impotent God? Or worse, that He doesn’t care what happens to His children? He loved us so much He died for us, rose again victorious over sin and death, and bethrothes us to Himself when we accept Him as our Savior. One day we will be His bride. Do you really think He does all of that then leaves us to fend for ourselves? No, no, and a hundred times no.

How about a national Holiday for George Washington, without whom America would not even exist? Just sayin. I would think he would still be a Holiday at least. It’s now called “president’s day” if I’m not mistaken. I’ve heard some shady things about Martin Luther King from credible sources. I think of it as more of a “PC” holiday than anything else. (I’ve got my fire extinguisher at the ready nearby if I’m in any danger of being roasted at the stake) Just sayin… :D

    • Elaine said

No danger Corey….well, at least not from me :-) but do remember that he was a man and we all sin and fall short but that does not negate the good that we do or say. I don’t know anything about Washington but I have heard that Lincoln thought blacks were inferior to whites and “loved a good darky joke” :-( but that does not mean that the Gettysburg address was not words of inspiration or that the emancipation proclamation was not an admirable act. I think the day is meant to celebrate the great things and not to worship him as perfect……only One ever was and ya still hear some rant about whether or not to celebrate His birthday or even when to celebrate it…..the important part is that we do acknowledge greatness even when the great things are done by imperfect creatures.

    • Hey Corey,

Check out this youtube by Rob Skiba, esp. around time 58:00 for George Washington.

Not saying I agree with Rob about everything. But he presents the material well.

Chris Pinto’s “Riddles in Stone” goes into much more depth.

    • Corey said

I am aware of the things said about George Washington. I have that Chris Pinto trilogy on DVD. But as long as we’re honoring imperfect people, wonder why it is that Washington gets the shaft and King is in. I’m really not talking about the imperfect things we all do as human beings. I was talking about how the corruption with King goes very big and deep on … let’s say… an Obama level but on a lesser scale obviously because he wasn’t president. I was listening to Michael Savage one day talk about it. It was an eyebrow raiser.

    • Corey said

On an “America’s culture” level, the reasons go much further down the rabbit hole than the common public is aware of. I suspect it involves the deliberate destruction of America’s culture by no longer honoring the things that America should be honoring… with the purpose of deliberately removing from the minds of children and citizens at large their national patriotism. (Brock Chisholm’s statement to the U.N. World Health Organization concerning the destruction of National patriotism as one of the means to achieving world government. Hmmmm If you can take out the pride of a people concerning their great nation, you can effectively destroy it’s culture. If you can destroy it’s culture, you can effectively destroy the nation itself. That is their ultimate goal. Very cunning indeed.

    • Eric W. said

      I can’t recommend Chris Pinto’s work highly enough. :)

    • LookingUp said

I don’t know, Corey. Corrupt or not, he did get the civil rights movement going. Maybe it would have happened without him, but maybe not. He definitely pushed this country into a different direction than it was going. If you’re saying that MLK destroyed our culture, there were parts of it that needed to be destroyed. God hates injustice at any level against anyone, and we do have a shameful history of racial injustice.

Agreed. MLK wanted the U. S. to become Color-Blind, in the sense that all Americans, regardless of Color be judged on Content of Character…… Unfortunately, the U. S. has become exactly the opposite. We have affirmative action, which is in fact reverse racism and racial quotas in both schools & the workplace. Hardly something MLK would not have approved of nor been proud of…I feel King’s “I Have a Dream” speech was one of the best ever written. I truly admire this man’s passion for peace and equality for all.

Matt… Mainly that is my point about MLK. Today’s so-called racial equality is not about racial equality. It is being used for reverse discrimination through affirmative action. This is one of the means by which the “New World Order” globalists Illuminati are seeking America’s destruction. They’re getting us through the destruction of the culture of the biggest domino that has to fall first before this new order can come about… the USA being that domino. One of the Illuminati’s stated goals through their various organizations is to turn the races against each other. They want the destruction of the American culture. And yes, I will say it and don’t really care what kind of flak I may get for saying it but… they want the destruction of the white culture. If you can destroy that, then you have effectively made America impotent. What you see today is not at all about racial equality. Further evidence of that are the masses of 3rd worlders invading our country… and being allowed to for that very purpose… America’s destruction. This is all an attack on the white male culture. I’ve started seeing through the PC Bull that we’re all fed from day to day. I wonder why it is that the African-American culture is elevated to a point that they can have their own “caucuses” a.k.a. “The National Black Caucus” and various other organizations that give them special status. Someone try forming a “National White Caucus” or “White History Month” and you will see riots in the streets. No Joke. Equality… yea. Blessings to all. :D

Iraq finds extra billion barrels of oil

BAGHDAD (AFP) – Iraq said on Sunday it has discovered deposits of crude equivalent to one billion barrels of oil after the first exploration work by state-owned firms in almost 30 years.

The deposits were found after exploration in Maysan province, in southern Iraq near the border with Iran, and could potentially make a significant addition to Baghdad’s already substantial reserves.

“Exploration began in Maysan, south of (provincial capital) Amara” last year, oil ministry spokesman Assem Jihad told AFP.

“Today, it completed 100 percent and achieved a big success.

“The initial assessment from this discovery is about one billion barrels of oil,” he said, adding: “It will increase production capacity for (state-owned) Maysan Oil Company.”

Jihad said the state-owned oil exploration firm had been carrying out its first exploration work within Iraq in nearly three decades.

Iraq, which is highly dependent on oil sales for government revenue, has sought in recent years to dramatically ramp up production and exploration in order to help rebuild its conflict-battered economy and infrastructure.

The country has proven reserves of 143.1 billion barrels of oil and 3.2 trillion cubic metres (111.9 trillion cubic feet) of gas, both of which are among the largest in the world.

    • Also follow up to Corey’s comments, Eric.

My take is that the real war is spiritual and against the rebel angels and their demon offspring. Everyone living needs to be rescued from them — including from “fun” secularized forms of idolatry, which are just friendly masks for more toxic delusions. So no surprise that I think stone images are nuts. Same goes for putting anyone or anything up on a pedestal …such as with a holiday.

I’m just surprised how many folks want to try to live in card houses. When babylon and her daughters “are fallen, are fallen” (…allow me a bit of a jig), I’ll be rejoicing like this…

      Rev. 18:20
Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her.

Former humans that join themselves spiritually to the rebel angels are the mothers of modern mass abominations (collective spiritual nephilim).

I’d assert they’re mostly collectives which like satan with judas can have a particular human focus at a given time. So while the face of the president might change with an election, the rebel angels are still pulling the strings. Same goes for pop heroes and media idols.

To me gaga, perry, madonna … marylin … are just a long string of carcases used temporarily and left by the wayside as the “god” behind them jumps from one instance to another. They become macabre cartoons in the process trying to keep up the image. Same for jackson, presley … dead stars and dead presidents.

The fans just haven’t realized that they’re likewise an extension of that same rebel spirit (emulations) and it’s demonic clones.

And I think their definition of “Christian” is so loose as to have no grip of “it” whatsoever…

On this MLK Day (and the coronation of the infested ones), I must say I am often heart-broken when I realize what a wretched nation we have been and are yet to become. In saying this, I am thinking of the many congregations of White Folk (I fit that description) who – down through history in America – participated in the proliferation of slavery. It was only a relatively small number of “Christians” who got involved in the Underground Railroad or who treated Black folk with dignity, respect and love. It reminds of the story told in “Bonnhoefer” of the German churches that knew when the death-camp-bound trains were going to pass by on Sunday mornings, so they purposely sang louder to drown out the cries of the Jews and others headed to their deaths. Don’t you think those occupants of the trains knew that their last and best hope should have been those churches and so they screamed with terror and hope that they would be rescued, but to no avail! We in America did the same to the Native Americans … horrific things! Yes, there were savages among them, but we have always had savages in our midst regardless of our race, country of origin or our religion/faith background!

God help us all as we face the months to come at the hands of the infested ones. We must have finely tuned spiritual eyes and ears to hear the cries of the lost (those who will repent) and recognize the opportunities to be a nurse for the wounded, a mother to the mother-less, a shelter for the storm-drenched, a lift-raft for the drowning…. Yeshua, let us have Your eyes for the lost and your heart for the needy, that we might truly be “Jesus with skin on” to them!!

During the private party, Lupe Fiasco( Wasalu Muhammad Jaco (born February 16, 1982),,,,, better known by his stage name Lupe Fiasco performed “Words I Never Said”, which features the lyrics “Limbaugh is a racist, Glenn Beck is a racist, Gaza Strip was getting bombed, Obama didn’t say (expletive). That’s why I ain’t vote for him, next one either I’m a part of the problem, my problem is I’m peaceful.”

Shortly after that song, two men in suits came on stage and Lupe Fiasco’s set was done. StartUp Rock on issued this statement denying he was kicked off for his anti-Obama lyrics.

“Lupe Fiasco performed at this private event, and as you may have read, he left the stage earlier than we had planned. But Lupe Fiasco was not “kicked off stage” for an “anti-Obama rant.” We are staunch supporters of free speech, and free political speech. This was not about his opinions. Instead, after a bizarrely repetitive, jarring performance that left the crowd vocally dissatisfied, organizers decided to move on to the next act.”

(Translation, the people didn’t like his anti-Obama lyrics, so he was “escorted”, not kicked, off the stage)

Regardless of what really went down with Wasalu Muhammad Jaco we may never know the truth or details, it certainly doesn’t look good for Obama. Although I’ve always advocated free speech, a person with the slightest hint of awareness would know when discretion is the best course of action, there is always a time and place for voicing opinion, this was not one of them, however, you hire a known controversial rapper and when he raps his standard controversial lines you pull the plug. Double standard if you ask me… If you wanted someone to tote the party line, you should have hired Jay-Z..
The bottom line here is; when the government decides you’re done, you’re done buddy. All this sounds like one big fiasco to me.

I’ll probably start a firestorm with this, but an example of our self-absorption is the continual misclaiming of 2 Chronicles 7:14 for America (if My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land).
First, it was a promise made to the Jews for Israel.
Second, believers do not have a land. We are citizens of heaven who are ambassadors for Christ where ever we may be stationed.
Third, and relating to this thread, do we have any right to ask God to heal America so our lives can continue as they are at the expense of millions of people around the world who are living in debilitating poverty and face starvation for themselves and their children on a daily basis? Or live with repressive governments or caught in the middle of civil or religious wars? Is our comfort so important that we give little if any thought that the “healing of our land” would extend the persecution, torture or murders of our brothers and sisters in multiple countries on this globe?
Corey, can I borrow your fire extenguisher?

    • Claudia said

Thank you for posting this info regarding 2 Chron 7:14. Good points.

Have you considered the possibility that God has a use for this land as a sanctuary for the woman who was given two wings of an eagle and flown off to the Wilderness where a place was prepared for her? We were the wilderness on the other side of the world known to John…..we were established by God (my opinion) to be a sanctuary…..and our people do need to turn back to God….for His purpose….not ours.

Humans are going to have to go through the WRATH of the Vials…after the Saints are harvested by Christ…..there will be many that will finally go….”uh duh…..what I had heard was true!”…and they will turn into Believers, and if they survive the WRATH they will walk into the Mellinnium with their clay bodies….after Christ sorts the clay goats from the clay sheep (which to me is all about those who risked their lives to help Christ’s Jews and new (after Rapture) Believers who are going through the WRATH. There are many Jews in this country that came over from Europe way back….and they don’t even know they are Jews, 10 lost tribes of Israel…went North into Europe and from there sailed for the Wilderness continent…new America. Many Jews hid their ancestry long, long ago to avoid persecution. Not to mentione the often talked about possible link to some of the American indians who came over via the links near Russia and Alaska.

I personally believe that if any land turns to Jesus Christ, according to that scripture….He will not say….”Oh, poo on you, I wasn’t talking about you, when I said that.” He would be pleased if any people turned to Him for their preservation…..no matter if He was speaking just to the Jews at that time.

Do you think I would turn away any stray kitten or cat that came up to me, mewing for a home…..because that kitten or cat was not of the breed that I preferred????

However, Christ did say that we, as citizens, should render unto Ceasar what is Ceasar’s and render unto God what is God’s. Paraphrased. We are expected to help our country and try to keep it on God’s track. Something that self endulgent christians did not due in the name of evil tolerance, and the desire for self acceptance amongst the herd.

Most did not love God enough to stand up for His values….such a small request by God…..in comparison to what He asked Abraham to do….and Abraham was going to do it….because nothing was higher for Abraham, or had more priority for Abraham than His God.

    • LookingUp said

No, I don’t believe that at all for several reasons. First, the ten-lost-tribes teaching is from Herbert W. Armstrong who founded the World Wide Church of God and a notorious false prophet. None of the tribes are lost to God.
