TAKING THE DAY OFF – EXHAUSTED!

We were 10 hours traveling yesterday – the trip should have been about 5 hours door to door – and when we arrived home there was a 5 minute radio-blurb waiting for me, congratulating George Noory’s ten-year anniversary, on Coast to Coast, which I did at 11:45 (PST) which made that 1:45 Dallas Time. I’m beyond exhaustion!
Thanks to the great job David Hitt and his crew did at the Future Congress! Well done gentlemen!

Rest well! Isn’t it amusing how He gives us that “one more thing” to really remind us that the sabbath was made for man, not man for the sabbath? Saturday, Sunday, or the occasional Monday…..:-) Enjoy your quiet day with Him!

This might be a good time to discuss Paradox Brown’s critique of the Book of Enoch?
I disagree with many of her points on other matters, such as details of the “rainbow bridge.”
But there are also valid criticisms of the Book of Enoch, especially those places where it contradicts scripture.
The Malone’s (Guy & Nicole) have an interesting way of basing nephilim and rebel angel analysis on strictly Biblical grounding.
Is the Book of Watchers portion of the Book of Enoch worth salvaging?

Nome, that’s a good idea. I’ll need to go back through what they said with pencil and paper and I’m a bit under the weather today. Give me a couple of days to do this justice.
I do want to emphasize why the Book of Enoch was rejected in the first place – certain church fathers refused to believe in the literal account of Gen. 6:4. They implemented the heretical Sethite theory. So, in my opinion, the entire basis for the refusal of the book into canon is bogus.
The book was found in the Dead Sea Scrolls and is still in the Ethiopic Bible canon, as well as the book of Jubilees. Iraneus, the disciple of Polycarp, the disciple of John the Beloved, writer of the Gospel of John, the Epistles of John, and the Book of Revelation, believed the book to be inspired scripture. Ironically, the same council (the Council of Laodicea) that was responsible for the final ouster of the Book of 1 Enoch, also tried to eliminate the Book of Revelation. It was a haunting echo of what Jesus said to the Church of Laodicea:
I will spit you out of my mouth… You are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked… be zealous, therefore, and repent.
Historically, the rejection of the Book of 1 Enoch stinks from the ground up, and Nicole and Guy, I believe, have a motive for bringing this to the forefront now.

Enoch did his best to describe the things he saw in human language but I am sure he struggled. How can the things of Heaven and the stars and the universe be put in words that man can understand? That’s where critics are so lost, how would they describe those things had they seen them?

Nome, this kind of argument is what makes me dubious of Nicole’s thinking. If the idea of angels being involved with the building of the ark was absolutely false, it would have been one of the reasons listed for the rejection of this book millennia ago. Would Jude, Peter, Jesus and John have referred to and quoted a false book? Would the Essenes have included it in their writing along with the book of Isaiah?
Nicole makes some sweeping assumptions here that we know everything that happened around the building of the ark. She is also assuming that ancients wrote in the same way moderns do. This is simply not the case. She is being dangerously oversimplistic.

I just had a thought that makes me look completely “out to lunch” but I have to ask and just throw it out there..Why this thought came to me…I have no idea.
Here goes and I do not need a bunch of awful junk coming back on me, I am just throwing something out there because the thought came to me so I do not consider it doctrine or truth but just something to ponder…..So here goes
What if,,,just what if in Enoch 1 when God is telling Noah the angels are making the ark…..what if Enoch was seeing the “On earth as it is in Heaven” thing going on….What if it was happening in another realm the same time Noah was doing the same thing on earth? Could Enoch have been seeing this happening in a heavenly realm and that is the reason for the angels participating in this?
I know it sounds crazy and I don,t take it for anything but it is a thought.
I know it is way far out there but it is interesting thought…

It’s worth considering that what’s regarded as the Book of Enoch is only part true. So Jude, Peter, and Jesus may be referring to a part and not the whole compilation now called Enoch.
As for the Essenes, or any of us for that matter, we have many articles, websites, books, and such in our libraries that don’t rise to the level of scripture.
Your point about additional material good. We could make the same assertion about the books that could be written about the life of Christ, as John does…

The point about the thought process or writing form being different is much like Mike Heiser’s assertion that it helps to know about the culture, the language, etc. to get a clearer grasp of the material through context.
You’ve seen me parallel scriptures so that a pattern in one place can be compared with a similar but somewhat different pattern in another. I approach the Bible like a court case, taking in the testimony of multiple witnesses together to better grasp what (and Who) they’ve encountered.
I’m also convinced that the more important anything is in the Word, the more God emphasizes it. If we find something in a portion of Enoch that’s not well supported by multiple witness in the Bible, while it may be fact, it need not be given much weight.
Of course I’ll easily agree that sethite doctrine was just plain wrong.

Nome – Enoch is quoted 70 times in the TENACH. It is also directly quoted in Jude. The reason Malone and Brown are attacking it has to do with the NO NEPHILIM after the flood theory that they are promulgating. They are entitled to create whatever they want to, however, I won’t have it here as it draws away from the paradigm that I as well as Gary Stearman, Chuck Misseler, Tom Horn, Doug Hamp and others embrace. It’s a distraction and it’s non-negotiable. We can agree to disagree. Like the rants against the Jews there are some subjects that I just won’t allow to be posted on MY blog. L.A.

Thanks for the brief on the Malones! I’m certainly convinced there are not only nephilim after the flood but plenty of nephilim DNA contamination since, and likely evident in both human and animal DNA. You’ve pointed to nanotech gene manipulation by way of the implants and possibly the mark. I’d point to viral genetic change in much the same way (a nephilim plague … possibly which causes rapid species change away from human).
I trust it’s ok to discuss the Book of Enoch in general terms consistent with your themes? Perhaps worth an upcoming blog too….

if you look at these translations, you will notice that it isn’t obvious that Enoch 67 is talking about the ark. The word “building” is inserted by the translator (Charles), so the text only says that the angels are making something of wood, from which life is to proceed. That could be the ark, but it could as well be something else. It might even be a prophecy of the Cross of Christ. Or it could be a preservation box for all the seeds of the earth.

Again, if it is talking about the ark, and seemingly contradicts Moses, then we have similar contradictions between the Bible books, as in Exodus 24:12 and Acts 7:53 and Gal. 3:19 for instance. Who gave the Law to Moses? God, or his angels? Or both?

Daniel, I agree on the other books your source is mentioning, but not the book of Enoch, simply because the ancient Jews and the first Christians did not consider the BOE as just a historical account, they considered it holy scripture, and prophetic scripture. It is as such it is quoted and referred to in many places in the Bible (just look at chapter 62 for instance, and compare to Paul’s letters to the Thessalonians), and in other early texts. In fact, the ancient authors (from 300 bc to 100 ad) makes no difference whatsoever between the book of Enoch and the other inspired scriptures. That said, I believe it could have been God’s will to let it rest from that on, until the last generation (which is obviously us, then).

The apocryphal books of Enoch I and II are of course non canonical and therefore not a basis for doctrine. We cannot be dogmatic about the content or historicity. This is not to say however that there is not truth in it but it is to say it is not something to build a doctrinal position on.

If that is your position, that the book of Enoch is not something to build a doctrinal position on, then you differ from the ancient Jews and the first Christians. I trust that they were led by the Holy Spirit when they cited and preached from Enoch’s writings. (The “second book of Enoch” was never regarded in that way).

It was interesting in the preview to see Johnson note that “the ancient church fathers considered 1 Enoch to be the real Book of Enoch. Also that they considered it recommended reading by Scripture, much like the Ancient Book of Jasher. But 2 Enoch and 3 Enoch were never considered real.

LA, you need to relax and take a little time to smell the roses. You don’t want to burn out. I’m guilty of burning the candle at both ends myself and my health is going downhill because of it… not really worth it in the end. Hey Darla “small town girl” be careful, all the things I mentioned in my Sunday post is coming your way soon if not already there. There really is no escape….I have been pushed out so far I’m no longer in the city limits….. Yet they are still at my doorstep. Crime is rampant all over; even the small towns and cities are no longer safe. Granted your odds may go down a bit but even still you can’t let your guard down or feel totally comfortable or safe because you happen to live in a small town. We have shoot outs daily here; it’s literally like the Wild West. It’s already happening where we will all have to live in gated and arm guarded communities and neighborhoods. We will have to live within walls for our own protection. The police will not help you, they themselves will admit when pressed on the issue that they are basically helpless against violent crime, they come after the fact, for clean-up purposes only. Only through God’s grace have I survived here. I have had guns pulled on me, I have been threatened with knifes and assorted weapons which could have caused great bodily harm multiple times, but thanks to God (and perhaps my guardian angel) I’m still standing. Only thing I can do is put my trust in God and my two best friends Smith & Wesson.

I use to fall asleep listening to Coast, but one time I happened to wake up in the middle of the night and they had some Satanist on their talking about demons and after that I was worried what subconsciously went into my mind as I slept :0 I check who the guest is now before I ever pull a stunt like that again.

No I never saw those, sounds weird though. I did see the Google map cars a few times. They have camera’s mounted everywhere on those vehicles…I find it unnerving that I can zoom up on my house and cars on the net…all I need to see is me getting my morning newspaper in my robe on the net…scary.

Yeah know, I don’t know how you handle a small town…I tried it for a awhile and just about went stir crazy. I mean life was more pleasant and the people were nice as can be but so many things seemed backward to me. Living in the 4th largest city in the US has spoiled me rotten. With the big city, its true you get the crime and the pollution and traffic and all those bad things that come along with a large city but the access to everything is something I would miss terribly. I have so many options here; of course those options usually cost big money to do those things…That’s one big drawback, however, it nice to know I can do those things if I choose to and save for a year

I just found out that you had a birthday in December and I wanted to wish you a HAPPY BIRTHDAY. My sister’s birthday is Dec 11, and mine is Dec 24. I also wanted to tell you how excited I am to have joined your blog. I started watching you on Prophecy In The News and have since seen you on several other programs. About 1965 or 66 we had a visiting pastor come to our little church in Granite, OK and taught a series of messages on UFOs and the Bible. I can’t remember if he talked about the nephilim back then or not (I was only about 11 or 12 yrs. old) but everyone in our congregation was very interested in his subject and I think everyone came to all his teachings. The next time I heard of the nephilim was from Chuck Missler and I know what you guys are teaching is the truth but it is very frightening to me. My husband, Bob, doesn’t even believe in UFOs, & he has never listened to any of the teachings on any of this. He grew up in a catholic home and he is not saved. He is a good man, but he hasn’t been in a church in 34 years, except for weddings, funerals and a few times when we were first married. I don’t know if you have a prayer chain or anything but please pray for him. It is like he is completely blind on the subject of his soul and the afterlife. The words says that no man comes to the Father unless the Holy Spirit draws him….So right now we pray that the Holy Spirit begin to draw Bob toward the Father..We pray that a true hunger would come upon Bob to know God…a true hunger….We pray that a true hunger for Gods word would overtake his every thought and we pray that Bob would have divine encounter with believers who will speak life and light and love into his very being and that their testimonies will be testimonies about the Love of Christ in their lives. He is an Agnostic Jew,his parents forced him to go to Hebrew School and Temple while they both cheated and partied through most of their Marriage.
Turned him from believing in God.
Yet he is a Good Man and faithful to me and had been in all his past relationships.I knew him as a friend for 18 years before we got together.

Why? God does what He does…Why did Jesus have to spit in the Mud? Why not just say “Be whole!” I do not know the why? and for the karat? Obviously at that very moment none of us knew but people went to their dentist after and the dentists where confirming it was gold and they (dentists) could not figure it out. people brought back xrays and dentists reports to prove what was happening was real. Also during one meeting, I was not there for that one, there was a NEWS person who happened to come because of the rumors and they actually did film what was going on….It is different because you stand there and look in peoples mouths and watch it happen. The minister does not even lay hands on them he just speaks about how God rebuked him gently for judging and when he speaks about this people start to get a different taste in their mouths and others take flash lights or have the people go to where good lighting is so other people can actually see the process take place. They actually see it happen ( the process) We held flash lights and stood in good lighting…this is real and I have no motive to lie about such a thing. I was amazed..I am always amazed at what God does…

Also many of the people had been of the generation who had fillings that had mercury in them..mercury causes sickness in the body….
These types of experiences that I have personally witnessed made it clear to me that God will do what God will do…maybe someone prayed for gold fillings because of mercury in their mouths..I do not know….I just know I was a witness with hundreds of others…I was in Portland Oregon at the time.

It certainly is a big mystery isn’t it. I have often said we will be shocked when we pass on and leave this world as we pass onto to another life. I believe the bible is not telling us the full story for whatever reason. Either we can’t handle it mentally or it was omitted for other reasons. I believe there is way more to the story than we are being told.
What has always stumped me is why God seems to play games with Satan. Satan is a created being, and as such he can be taken out by God, Why does a loving God put up with our accuser? We are told Satan finally goes to the pits of hell but set loose again for a time ? WHY? As I said we are not being told the full story. At times I feel we are mere chess pieces moving around a board for some purpose, for whatever the reason.

God created us for this time and hour..I think that is so COOL…I just keep asking WHAT…WHAT WHAT do you want me to do to finish this race as that great cloud of witnesses cheer for us to press on…..run and FINISH this race!!!!! I choke up when I ponder those cheering us on….

I want to thank everyone who has been praying for my wife Stephanie. We found out today that we have indeed received a miracle. The clot in her leg is gone. Her lungs have been clear for a few months but the clot in her leg had not gotten better at all from the time she got it from the time of the last scan three months ago. We put out a bunch more prayer request and many christians were praying. Steve Quail and his following and L.A. Marzulli and his following had been praying for us among many other groups. We went in for the scan today and found out that the clot was gone and by the accounts of the lab tech it looks like it has been gone for months. That means we got our miracle. We thank God and give him praise for this. We thank everyone who was praying for us. GOD IS IN CONTROL AND IS GREAT, WONDERFUL AND MERCIFUL, AND HOLY AND GLORIOUS! I thank you all again and most of all I give praise to God for his mercy and this miracle he has given us.

I noticed your post a few days ago about the JFK assassination. While you are resting up from your trip, you might consider reading a book titled JFK and the Unspeakable: Why He Died and Why It Matters. I’m kind of a JFK assassination geek and have read many books on the subject. What sets this one apart is that it is written from a uniquely Christian viewpoint. The author (James W. Douglass) draws much from the writings of Thomas Merton, a Trappist monk whose writings attempted to lead international leaders to turn towards peace and away from the cold war. Regardless of your views regarding who committed the crime, this book has valuable insight into the forces driving Kennedy, Khrushchev and Castro in the couple years preceding 1963.

To add to my thought on Enoch seeing in another realm thus the angels…the question must also be asked….Why did God say he would “preserve it”…..Was it because it had been established, created already in heaven and now in this realm it had to take place too? These are all just questions and thoughts but it would possibly account for why Enoch says the angels made it….because it had to happen in that realm too….the thought process leads to all sorts of interesting thinking….just a thought…just pondering.

You can appreciate that I’m very wary of “as above so below” about as much as “do what you will shall be the whole of the law.”
Is there a reflection of the heavenly in the earthly? For instance, the heavenly creatures about the Throne of God are clearly living creatures, with the face of lion, ox, eagle, and like a man … and possibly reflected in earthly creatures. Could be many ways, such as shared life codes (DNA and similar).
To be sure there is a greater testimony than that of the written Word — the very witnesses themselves with the love letters of God written on their hearts. More specifically, the greater assembly of saints is the greater volume of testimony about interacting and abiding with the Most High. Of course, there are two sides to that since the Almighty is likewise The Word (…and Alpha and Omega), whereby He can speak for Himself.
I’m listening to Mike Heiser tell Gonz and company on Canary Cry talk about the mosaic of evidence in the testimony about Christ.

This is weird but back in the early 90′s I was studying the book of Revelations …deep deep in study…as I kept reading, I started to see that the writer was seeing in like a 3 D type of vision…. Remember he called all the beings he saw angels but all were not angels one specifically was Jesus but he called him an angel….what I started to see in reading and re-reading over and over was that John was seeing something take place on earth literally and then a couple chapters later he was seeing the same thing take place in the spirit in the heavenly realm….he was seeing things happening on earth literally and also in the realm of the spirit…..it was pretty wild when I was going through it….i cannot give exact stuff now too much detail…but just think about that…..so when I got the thought today about Enoch and seeing in the realm of the Spirit it took me back to when I was studying in the 90′s…….my mind is tripping right now about all of this……

The ox, the lion, the eagle and the man..I was given a vision too much to share right now but these for represent the “characters” of the Spirit of Judgment.
There is a Spirit of Judgment” The ox represents strength, the eagle represents swiftness, the lion represents fierceness and the man represents intellect…they all together represent the Spirit of God’s Judgement which moves in strength, swiftness, fierceness and obviously intellect. It is too much to explain but for a later time but interestingly enough this also has to do with DNA which is something you mentioned which I find absolutely amazing that you even brought that up in the same post.

Dsharp200… An interesting thought regarding your comment earlier of why Jesus didn’t just say the the blind man “Be Healed” or something. Why spit in the dirt and create mud and rub it on the blind man’s eye. I heard a certain comment by a bible expositor some time ago commenting on that verse of scripture. The reason was that he was showing the unbelieving Jews that he is the creator of Heaven and Earth… he was showing them that he is God. That he is their awaited Messiah that they were expecting. The Sadduccees and Pharisees were all in unbelief and trying to trap him in a lie. Israel had fallen into unbelief and he was in effect saying to them… I am God and he proved it to them. It hearkens back to the Genesis account of the creation story where he created the Heavens and the earth and formed man from the dust of the ground. By him spitting in the dirt and wiping it on the blind man’s eye he was saying to them “I am your creator… I am God. I am the God you read about in your Torah that created you from the dust of the ground. Thus proving that he is the true Messiah. It was a powerful message indeed when he did that.

Yes I have understood that too..the whole dirt and being made from dirt thought….but there are many places in the bible we could say..”Well why didn’t God do it this way or that way?” God is God….Why did God have to speak from an ass to someone why not just send another servant to speak to this man? Things like this are always in question but the bottom line is God is God and God will do what He wants to do and how He wants to do it…Why did God tell Eziekel to eat dung and do all this stuff with lying with iron pan on one side of him and so on…..which was all for a judgment…but why did He do it like that? We do not understand that His ways REALLY are not our ways and we REALLY need to understand that God is going to be God…..This is why I keep saying do not put God in a box…..people get upset about the whole gold filling issue, I have seen it for years…But right now if God were to knock on your door and you opened it and there was a jack ass standing there and he started to speak out of the mouth of a Jack Ass would anyone today call you sane? They would say you are full of it and why would God do that……We need to let God be God…..

I am grateful for the things I have witnessed as far as deliverance, healings, operation of gifts..I am so grateful for being able to witness and participate and I do not say that in arrogance, I speak this with humility….I believe I have been taken down the path I have because i DID choose to believe that God will do what God wants to do..He taught me NOT to put Him in a box and in doing so I have seen many things,,many things…and yes I have seen false anointing s..He taught me the difference…He showed me how to look for it, gave me eyes to see with, and gave me discernment in being able to see false anointing….LA will be speaking on the gifts these next few weeks and I just want to encourage people….It has been hard for me on this site sometimes because i have spoken out and I have taken a lot of flack….but i have developed a thick skin for flack over the years….
The bible says that in the end times His people will be strong and do exploits..What is an exploit? A healing is a healing…a deliverance is a deliverance..a word of knowledge is a word of knowledge…so what is an exploit? An exploit is parting the Red Sea….If we cannot even get past God putting gold fillings in a mouth then how are we going to step out and do exploits?

Dsharp200… You might want to check out a posting of an older show that Gary Stearman put up on his website “Prophecy In The News” over the weekend. It’s titled “The Big Picture”. Just click on the section to the right of your screen that says “Watch More Updates” and then scroll down and inch or so and you will see it there. It is very interesting. God does things in certain ways as teaching tools to say stuff to us. If he did it the quick way we wouldn’t learn things about God that he wants us to know and understand. But I agree with you… sometimes I wonder why God does things a certain way and not other ways. God truly is a mystery. I was curious if you had ever heard that explanation before about the spittle. But I would watch that “Prophecy In the News” show posted on that site. It is a truly amazing thought and conversation Gary had with J.R. Happy watching. Peace. Would love to know what you thought of it after you watch it (if you haven’t already watched it).

I will watch and let you know when I do…Yep on the explanation ..I have heard it but not on that site..The “Jack Ass” speaking to the man in the Old Testament I am sure is a lesson about how God can use one you might consider a jackass in this day and age to speak to you so you better be listening and not be to proud to except a word from the Lord coming in a way you would never expect…I get that part as far as a lesson too.
Being on this site really brought it home to me about how many people really have not seen a lot of God really moving in the miraculous, deliverance s ect.. It makes me sad and hopeful at the same time that maybe some through being on this site will come to the point of stepping out in their gifts..I am hopeful for what LA will write about concerning the gifts…keeping in mind we seek the Giver and not the gift…..
Anytime I have been involved in a deliverance I was already totally filled with the word…I was majorly seeking His face, seeking Him…reading constantly..full of the word..then out of nowhere i was put in situation where a need for deliverance was at hand….I was so full of the word….it was like deliverance HAD to happen……That is one thing I have learned for sure….being FULL, filled up on the word is important.

Dsharp200 a.k.a. Darla… I know what you are saying with the gifts of the spirit and healing and all. My wife was miraculously healed of cancer awhile ago. She was at death’s door but she had spoken the healing scriptures over her cancer and it miraculously disappeared the next morning. It was the kind of cancer you do not survive apart from a miraculous healing. I find myself trying to press into God in certain ways and have that kind of relationship with the Lord. The devil is seemingly fighting me every step of the way however. Sometimes I hear people of certain sites criticize TBN and all the “Word OF Faith” teaching as being unscriptural but alot of it seems to be very grounded in scripture. Personnally, sometimes I don’t know whether to believe it or not. I’m leaning toward accepting it as fact and all. But sometimes I wonder if they are interrpreting scripture correctly or not. Sometimes it’s all confusing for me. But I am still learning it and trying to put it in operation in my own life. But the enemy is fighting me hard it would seem… by sometimes putting a little seed of doubt in my mind and wondering if I’m just going down the road of delusion. But it’s hard to ignore that kind of teaching when it all is backed by scripture. My faith level does seem to be rising though. Little by little I’m coming to more and more conclusions about the whole thing. Especially when you hear about people putting this into action and receiving miraculous results. It’s hard to argue with results. Anyway, I am rambling. It”s late at night and I’m pie-eyed… and at work.

It seems every time someone steps out in a truth like “”Speak to the mountain and it will be removed” and it works then all of the sudden it becomes a movement and then it gets bad mouthed all over the place and turns into a new theology. This makes me ill….you need to get out of your head what people say about word of faith or any other words people say about what THEY THINK…See what it is in the word….I believe speaking to the mountain and so did your wife and that is why the miracle happened. Listen, read the word and if God says do it..Just do it….I am sick of hearing about how we do no do this or that when it is in the word…go by the word…I speak the answer out not the problem…I thank God for someones salvation.. I do not beg God to giver it to them….We speak the answer….I have seen much by doing so….Do what it says in the word…..Just do it

Charles Capps wrote a book “The Tongue..a Creative Force” I’m pretty sure this is the one…..This is way awesome and worth the 14 dollars and easy to read….get it read it….The word backs up what he writes about in this book.
