From what I’m reading the vote was 138-9, with 41 abstentions. Two of the 9 were the US and Israel. Don’t know who the other 7 were.

Noah Hutchins/Hutchings?? did a booklet years ago called Suddenly No More Time referring to a hour glass when first turned over takes quite a while to fill, but as nears the neck it’s rapid! That’s how the end will be and we are in it. Even my grandson/12 says boy the days are flying by and they are! He’s very time conscience and says since BHO was re-elected the time seems to be speeding up! I think he’s right. Everything’s probably going to fall in place quickly.

Canada voted against it. I thought they would. They seem to be a good friend to Israel… as America once was… and they’ve been reaping the blessings that we could have.

Yes, Canada has been a strong supporter of Israel, at least since PM Harper was elected, especially. Canada was the first country to sign the “Ottawa Protocol on Combating Anti-Semitism”. That was in November of 2010.
So far, though, I don’t believe any other country has signed it, at least from a search query I just did on this.

So, the UN declares them a terrorist organization, then upgrades them to “non-member state”. One of the most stupid, useless, ignorant decisions the UN ever made, but what else is new? Just goes to show the UN is run by imbeciles and thieves.The UN is as counterproductive and useless an organization as any. This vote today doesn’t change the the fact that the Palis still are genocidal, anti-semitic psychopaths, but that’s a comment for another day.
Interesting part of this UN vote is how many nations have abstained, afraid of political repercussions no doubt.
I do have to wonder though, anyone care to guess what Israel would do to the first U.N. force that opposes them?

So, if the US would have suffered some terrible catastrophe had it voted “yes”, does that mean we can expect to see such calamity befall all of those nations that actually did vote “yes”? If not, then that would, of necessity, mean that God holds the US to a different, higher, standard than He does the rest of the world, does it not? How is this idea of America being held to a higher standard justified in scripture exactly? I’ve never seen it.

The end is near. I’m going to buy all the twinkies, ho-ho’s and snowballs that I can find. Super-long shelf life and will probably be great to have for barter items as long as I can manage to not eat them all in the meantime.

I saw a video some days ago on how to make your own Twinkies. The guy who was demonstrating had several packages of Twinkies which he had stockpiled from years earlier. He opened them, and they had completely dried out. When knocked against the counter, they literally shattered into powder!

I loved Zola Levitt. I still don’t think the Rapture will fulfill Trumpets. Those that teach a Rapture Trumpets fulfillment also teach Jesus will fulfill the three fall feasts like the three spring feasts. Jesus did fulfill the spring feasts in physically, perfectly and inspecific chronological order. He was here to do that. So to use the spring feasts as the model for fall feasts, Jesus will have to be on the ground on Trumpets and follow it 10 days later with Atonement and 5 after that with Tabernacles. Using the spring feast model, for the Rapture to fulfill Trumpets, it will be a post-tribulation event at the Second Coming.

The final lunar eclipse of 2012 takes place tomorrow on November 28. The last time a lunar eclipse took place on November 28, was in 1947, the day before Resolution 181 was voted on and adopted by the United Nations General Assembly.
It was due in part to the vote on November 29, 1947, that the Jewish State of Israel was later able to declare independence on May 14, 1948.
The November 28, 1947, eclipse event is the first lunar eclipse to fall on this date since the Gregorian dating system went into effect on October 15, 1582. I can’t help but notice that the solar eclipse cycle for both 1947 and 2012 both began on May 20th. This year, May 20th fell on Iyyar 28, or Yom Yerushalayim on the Hebrew calendar, also known as Jerusalem Reunification Day.
This date memorializes the day that Israeli soldiers, against all odds, victoriously recaptured the Old City of Jerusalem from Jordanian control during the Six-Day War that began on June 5, 1967.
Interestingly, it was exactly 354 days (or one lunar year) prior to the May 20, 2012, solar event, that another solar eclipse event took place on June 1, 2011, which also fell upon Iyyar 28. In back-to-back years a solar eclipse has taken place on Yom Yerushalayim, which is celebrated on the Hebrew calendar date Iyyar 28.
It appears to be a double witness in the heavens that YEHOVAH has in fact given the land of Israel to the Jews on a promise, a promise that HE has vowed to uphold.
