If you’ve ever experienced it, you know what Maurice Buck and William James wrote about. But that life changing mystic feeling that every part of reality is love — is not a good guide nor place to dwell. We are to walk by faith, not by sight. Some say not by feeling.
It’s something I wrestle with at church when the praise service enters into the heavenlies — which is taken as evidence that we are in God’s presence. I feel it, like spiritual hugs or the unfolding of wings across my back… I wonder if that’s part of what dwelling more in our spiritual bodies than our natural bodies is like?
(The rich man that died, obviously not completely in his flesh body at that point, felt horrible thirst, torment, and flame, while the beggar Lazarus was in the bosom of Abraham. Luke 16)
Nonetheless, when we experience “peace that passes all understanding” in the Philippians 4 sense of “the God of peace dwelling with us,” we need to learn to distinguish the true from the fake. In the presence of God the prophets did also quake and tremble….
The battle remains with the world, the flesh, and the devil. So walk in faith (2 Cor. 5:7) and walk in wisdom (Col. 4:5). Not led around by any carrot that can give a temporary high or fix. Pick up your cross daily — and follow Jesus Christ.

I was simply trying to provide the explanation that God gave me for how those who are in the presence of demons, can talk about the love and peace that they experienced, for apparently as I explained, in some cases it is more than just a mystical experience. I have long hesitated to share this information because I suspected some would think that I am advocating this kind of experience…but not so. I offer it for those who , like myself can use it as a witnessing opportunity to reach people for Jesus. I have heard a number of people talk about the love and peace they experinced in the presence of these beings, and I have found that it is not enough to simply tell them that they were deceived…now I have been able to tell them HOW it took place and it is rather amazing to see how God opens their eyes as they slowly begin to realize their need for Christ to live in them.

I believe what you wrote Steve Mc.
Just wanted to add that holy love isn’t all warm and fuzzy. Chastisement in the book of Hebrews sense is also part our Father’s love. As are the corrections that Paul wrote to the churches. As are the letters that Jesus sent likewise through John.
And there are plenty of other examples of “that loving feeling” that have to do with body chemistry, drugs, mystic experiences, and possibly even transcendent experiences in worship.
1st Corinthians 13 is pointed about though we do all that which seems to be so valuable as part of church and charity — if we don’t do it with love (with God) — it means nothing. “Without Christ we can do nothing.” “But that the Lord build the church they labor in vain.”
Your point (and revelation) that having a better vision or awareness of the love of God — is very well made. Makes me think that “to the starving even bitter things are sweet.” When dark clouds break and the Glory of God shines through unhindered — that doesn’t mean that some scheme of the rebel angels is not involved. So we should “try the spirits, search the Word, and see what fruit results.” Including 1st Cor. 13.
We do have this though: “All good things come from God, in whom is no shadow nor variableness of turning.”

Pudding…as I understand it, in some instances that is indeed the case. Of course there is always the mystical, fuzzy feeling experiences that people receive from the powers of the air and these are perceived as “spiritual” by the people who have them…which I guess they are but from the wrong spirit. But in some instances, apparently it is more than that, but is actually the love of God that the demons are allowing to flow through to a particular person or group. It’s not that they are projecting this love, but simply allowing what is already there from God to flow through and reach a person. It’s as if they temporarily remove the spiritual barrier that they have put up, and the person experiences a real love from God which I suspect Adam and Eve experienced continually before they sinned and before the barrier was allowed to exist. The person does not experience the inward love of the Holy Spirit but apparently experiences love in a very profound way, far beyond the love that they have for their families. Of course, the demonic et’s get the praise and the person is thoroughly deceived.

Demons have NOTHING to do with the “Love of God.” They can neither hinder, nor allow the ultimate power in the Universe… They flee in horror at the mere thought of the unmitigated Love of God… I’ve been VSA, (vital signs absent) at a car accident… I’ve seen the enemy being held back by this very force… the enemy can’t even get CLOSE to the “Love of God” without it burning them in misery because they know that they will NEVER experience it again…

After pondering more on this subject I can say I understand the logic in theory but not in practice. The redirection or projection would seem to be a deception only permitted by God if that’s the case.

Your welcome Pudding, and yes indeed “wiser faster as the days quickly proceed” Been praying daily for wisdom and understanding for years, but it seems a very slow process.
I do not understand the intricacies of it all, but I have heard non-Christians exclaim “OH MY!” and seen their faces light up with recognition when I explained to them how their deception may have taken place. They then begin to realize that it really is all about the love of Jesus and receiving and following him. There are times when God speaks or reveals things and it’s clear as a bell. Then there are times like this, when he seems to be revealing something but it’s so bizarre that it’s hard to accept. I think I finally accepted it when he urged me to talk with people about some of these things and I began to see some of them turn to Christ. Maybe you or others will suddenly one day be able to use this information in witnessing…that’s why I commented.

Steve;There is this concept within reformed belief (theology) of the “common grace of God” by which his love is made manifest among the wicked (all outside of Christ’s saving grace) (he send rain to the just and the wicked) I think what you are saying borders on this!
This “common grace” does not have the seal of the Holy Spirit which means that it can be manipulated and counterfeited by the demonic..
Saw a lot of that during the Wimber vineyard ministries in the eighties
I suppose it could be said that it is the love of God’s common grace demoniacally enhanced such as is displayed among Buddhist, new-agers etc..

Likewise, I think its beyond the capacity for demons to show love, but they choose a message filled with love that is channeled through humans. This is why we are so important to them. Its our minds and emotions that have been manipulated to feel love through these demonic proxies.

With everything Always negative out there, its good to go often, into that cozy place. That Eternally safe place where nothing can touch us. The secret place that only God’s children have access to. I read your comment yesterday and then visited your blog and saw no place to leave a comment, so I thought I’d leave you one here. I am under the impression that you believe that angels weren’t created as angels but were first humanlike and later glorified and thats how they were able to have children with men? It sounded very interesting to me, since the Bible does say that the earthy comes first etc, my problem with your theory, however is 1 Peter 1:12. Scripture tells us that the “mystery” of our salvation was hidden in God and that even the angels didn’t understand these things. If it had already happened to them, wouldn’t they have already understood what our salvation meant, since they were human first and were now glorified? I believe scripture that they were created angels and that there is no salvation for angels, but only men, the children of Adam can be saved.

(Ancient) Glorification doesnt have to be the same thing as salvation. The “pre-angels” can have been glorified by eating of the tree of Life. Furthermore, they didnt have the incarnation of Christ, which I believe is the reason they long to look into our salvation.
Don’t think 1 Cor. 2:6-8 is applicable here.
To my knowledge, after about 17 years’ Bible studies on this subject, I dont think there is any Scripture that objects my thinking.

It’s near to the nephilim mounds that our intrepid strike team have already plowed the grounds at, neutralizing the threats. So it’s ripe for evangelizing.

a. remit the sins clearing the curses,
b. evangelize bringing restoral and revival,
c. help bring the lovingkindness of God back into the area.

There seems to be a lot of supernatural creepy stuff happening in Mexico. You couldn’t pay me to live there. Theres not enough money in the world. I liked both videos most of the stuff I have seen before. I was just thinking about the comments yesterday from Rodney Dezarn, saying bah humbug, tinfoil hats etc. about ufo’s etc. I hear what he saying but then again once you have seen a UFO, demon etc. your whole world gets turned upside down then you join the tinfoil hat group.

When I was first saved, I saw a tiny little demon that looked like a lifelike cartoon, dressed in garish garb with a weird hat. And get this, it got around on a magic carpet—-With a stick shift!! hahaha No I’m NOT Kidding! Why would a magic carpet need a stickshift? I have NO idea! ha! But i think that everything we’ve heard of that we think is make believe, have their origins in facts. So yes, I believe that witches can ride on brooms, although in the 5th tape, (not posted here) there is a clearer picture of a airborn witch, and I think they said she didn’t need a broom.
One thing that stands out with me is what the movie maker said. He said that this is what happens when the church does nothing. The evil powers sort of run unchecked. I think that the church needs intensive training programs, taught by those who know how to effectively combat this stuff, because I think if we were all honest, it would be that most of us don’t have a clue! I would be the first in line. Sign me up! Imagine the training that Jesus’ disciples received from the Master Himself. Imagine the things they learned from Him! I’m afraid most of its been lost and purposely hidden,the church is not walking in the power given to her, but the black arts are preserved from generation to generation. If we study our Bibles we can learn it all again, it’ll just take a LONG time!

I love horses so much, and while I could never have one here, in Heaven we’ll have our very own, and Everything Else that We Could Ever Imagine, too! Did I mention that I can’t wait?! We have so much to look forward to. Its going to be great! But as for today, its turned out to be a great day! God is SO good to us. When I read about them Nephilim in the bible, they is giants, Goliath kind of like.
All them modern Nephilim kind of three feet dwarfs opposite to the Giant ones in the bible.
Makes me kind of wonder as to why they is that big great difference in size of them. maybe is cause them modern one got to fit in them flyin saucers kind of low every body sayin they is seeing. Hangon, perhaps the 3′ size was chosen to be less scary. But the Bad Guys still don’t understand the human point of view, so they made the Grays a bit too different?
Or perhaps the Grays are more diluted with mortal blood, and there are inherent size limitations? Or perhaps the Bad Guys did actual genetic engineering to produce the Grays, and there are size limitations there also?
I grew up reading C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien, and so picked up the idea that the fallen ones, as time passed, lost the ability to have complete control over their appearance. Don’t know if that’s Biblical, or perhaps something the old rabbis wrote, or where CSL and JRRT got it…. [C.S.
