Turkey Warns Syria It May Use ‘Greater Force’
On Monday, Syrian Army gunners exchanged artillery blasts with their Turkish counterparts across the frontier for the sixth consecutive day.
I am a big believer in looking at maps, thus the one presented here. Please take note of two things, the first is Syria is sandwiched between Turkey in the North, and Jordan in the South. Syria and Turkey have been exchanging fire for almost a week now and the questions is whether or not the exchange will escalate into a full-blown war.
Jordan apparently has 17,000 multi-national troops along its border with Syria and now we learn the US is sending additional advisors into the region.
U.S. Military Is Sent to Jordan to Help With Crisis in Syria
Syria is engage in an all out civil war which has led tens of thousands of people streaming into Jordan, upward of 100,000 or more. This puts a further strain on King Abdullah, as combined with the threat from the Moslem Brotherhood, threatening to demonstrate until the changes they want are instituted, the refugee problem may be last straw for the regime. Abdullah is westernized and is almost always included in negotiations concerning the Middle East. The US sending advisors is most likely a dual purpose helping Abdullah retain his throne thus propping up the king, as well as managing the flood of refugees.
There is also the real possibility of Syria’s chemical weapons falling into the hands of a number of radical Islamists groups, which is the reason for the multi-national force along Jordan’s border. Added to this complicated mix is Iran and Russia. Iran has airlifted, via Iraq, upwards of 2000 troops, that we know about, however the number could be considerably higher. As I mentioned in an earlier blog, this may be in preparation for the expected attack from Israel. Iran is propping up Assad, to both retain an ally and keep alive the dream of a dominant Shia crescent, which would threaten Saudi Arabia.
Russia remains quietly watching from the side-lines, after withdrawing their ships and troops from Syria, at least for now. Syria can not fight a war with Turkey, as not only are they out gunned by the Turkish military, but the civil war which has fractured Assad’s command of his forces, presents a real detriment to prosecuting a full-blown war. If war erupts will Russia back Syria? Will Iran join the fray?
In closing todays post: The Middle East is a tinder box and the politics of the region are changing daily. One can only wonder where all of this will lead. Please take a look at the map again and notice the nation of Israel. See how small it is? Look how it is surrounded by countries and factions who declare they want to annihilate it. I believe there is a supernatural component to what we are seeing and it is manifesting with the unrest and strife which has been ongoing since the nascent beginnings of the Arab Spring. What the future holds is anyones guess…. For those of us who believe in Biblical prophecy the following words hold true…
Be still and know that I Am God. Behold the days are coming when I will show my strength on the mountains of Israel.
We will have the Pre-sale special up by tomorrow!
Gary Stearman will never forget the clear, megaphone-like voice that rang in his ear as he flew his Cessna 207 from Dallas to Lubbock. That booming voice said, “If you look to your left, you’ll see a UFO! What happened soon thereafter is fresh in Gary’s mind, even 30+ years later. His personal UFO encounter dramatically affected his world view and provides all the evidence you need to know that UFOs are real! Was his encounter with this enormous silver craft an angelic rescue from a potential mid-air disaster? Watchers 5 features Gary flying a vintage Stearman bi-plane, sharing the whole amazing story of that memorable day.The Watchers series has reached new, extraordinary heights, presenting one thrilling segment after another. Speaking of legends, our host interviews the leading expert on The Spear of Destiny, the weapon that pierced the side of Christ and supposedly gives its owner the power to rule the world. What significance does the word OBAMA have in the Bible codes, referencing the Gog and Magog war? And what secrets does the North Pole hold? Were Admiral Byrd and Adolf Hitler’s suspicions right? Is the Hollow Earth theory credible? There’s even more—the latest news from Israel—an interview with David Brennan, author of the Israel Omen—Russian UFOs and new, laboratory revelations from alien implant physician, Dr. Leir.
