He Has Risen…. He Has Risen Indeed!

Posted by lamarzulli on April 8, 2012

In the early days of the church believers in Yashua/Jesus would greet each other with these words.

“He has Risen!”

The other believer would reply, “He has risen indeed!”

Sadly, almost 2000 years later we celebrate the greatest miracle in the history of the world by saying, “Happy Easter.”

We might as well say, “Happy Babylonian Fertility goddess day!.”

Easter, along with it’s bunnies that lay eggs, Easter Egg hunts, and Easter Ham, all are part of the infiltration of the Babylonian Mystery school religion.   Alexander Hislop’s book, The Two Babylon’s validates this in great detail.  Easter, comes from the word ISHTAR!

Ishtar was the god of love and war above all associated with sexuality: her cult involved sacred prostitution; in her holy city URUK was called the “town of the sacred courtesans”; and she herself was the “courtesan of the gods”.[4] Ishtar had many lovers.  Ishtar – Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Gospel accounts of the resurrection are filled with wonder and awe.  His rising from the dead tells us that He conquered death, and the grave.  He is the new Adam, and all us who proclaim his our saviour will one day be like Him.  Let’s correct the greeting and do away with the Babylonian cult nonsense that has robbed the church of the true meaning of the day, for He Has Risen!

 Matthew 28

1 After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb.

2 There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it.3 His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow.4 The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men.

5 The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. 6 He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. 7 Then go quickly and tell his disciples: ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.’ Now I have told you.”

8 So the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with joy, and ran to tell his disciples. 9 Suddenly Jesus met them. “Greetings,” he said. They came to him, clasped his feet and worshiped him. 10 Then Jesus said to them, “Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee; there they will see me.”

I am perplexed, wouldn’t the hebrew name “Yeshua” be pronounced the english “Joshua” instead of “Jesus” I read that somewhere, and “Yeshua” does sound more like the english “Joshua” than “Jesus”.

    • Gary, Hopefully you’ll find the following useful. They’ve blessed me.

      The case for “Yeshua”

      The case for “Yahshua”

As each of us usually has a short familiar name, I believe Christ’s is “Y’shua.”

The letter “j” came into written use in English in the 1600’s.
“https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/J” (references the “The Cambridge History of the English Language”)

      Please consider Revelation 3:12…
Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out:
and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God,
which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God:
and I will write upon him my new name. (cp. Hosea 2 esp. v. 16)

So none, like the true name cults, can really say they have the only correct pronunciation.

He knows when we talk to Him.

      John 20
16 Jesus saith unto her, Mary. She turned herself, and saith unto him, Rabboni; which is to say, Master.
17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father:
but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.
18 Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and that he had spoken these things unto her.

      And He knows His beloved.

  7. I echo these sentiments on my blog. http://facelikethesun.com

    He has risen indeed!

And the book The Two Babylons by Hislop is a great read. You can find a PDF of it online for free if you do some digging. Remarkable book for a writing that happened almost a century ago. Although I don’t agree with everything in this book, it’s a must read for those who study these matters.

In any case, He has risen! Have a great day.

      What’s your Blog Address James?

    • LA, I think James is on to something. From his blog, (I’m fairly certain)… “http://montanatruthseekers.wordpress.com/”

      James wrote:
“Also take a look at Revelation 16:13, it talks about three frog like spirits coming out of the mouths of the beast, false prophet, and the dragon. Now compare a picture of a grey to a frog. You will see many amazing similarities with their eyes, hands, and skin. I believe John of Patmos was describing the greys.”

Looks like they’ll disclose themselves to the kings of the earth and the whole world at least by that time (6th Vial), if not earlier.

Next verse, Christ comes as a thief in the night.

I think your ideas are fasinating, especially about the abortions i.e. blood sacrifices causing such a horrible impact of UFOs/demons or fallen angels.

I’ve always believed that all these abortions and now homosexual marriages has caused GOD to pull back His hand of protection on this country; However, I never dreamed that these abortions are actually offering satan blood sacrifices. Which book of yours is it where all this is explained? I really need to get it. Thank You♥

LA … Happy Resurrection Day to you and your family!

As part of our Resurrection Weekend activities we listened to your “Giants” broadcast from Thursday. You mentioned wanting to link to a ligitmate archeologist. As happenstance would have it, we also watched Bob Cornuke’s “Lost Shipwreck of Paul” video where he details using the Bible as the guide to finding the lead anchors from the Maltese shipwreck. He has also been involved with James Irwin on the search for Noah’s Ark, and the “real” Mount Sinai.

His organization (BASE, Bible Archeology …) is dedicated to showing the truth of the Bible through archeology. Bob is also a retired LA Police Dectective … published 8 books on bible archeology, bible believer, PHd in Bible and Theology, and detective … an ideal combination for a dig where DNA and forensic evidence gathering might come in handy. He may also know a couple of lawyers that can help with legal issues.

Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD.

  16. He’s alive & risen ~ Jesus of Nazareth ! The Holy Spirit moved amongst the people today @ the Resurrection Service & I’m happy to report we just got a whole bunch more brothers & sisters added into the Family of God today. “The Two Babylon’s” was the book that convinced me the Jehovah’s Witnesses may actually be led of God in that they didn’t celebrate any of the Christian Holidays infiltrated w/pagan roots. The Cosmic Chess match sure checkmated me on that premise! I refused to celebrate Christmas, Easter, Birthdays, wear a cross, etc…Oh well, The Lord allowed a rematch & He won the final round on this soul. Praise God I was eventually healed & set free!! I still like the book but learned (the hard way) that Satan is a master in twisting elements of truth in order to send people on a spiritually damaging path. I’ve been watching a resurgence of interest in this subject within Christian circles. Unfortunately, I’ve witnessed that it can turn into self-righteousness, unloving, condemning & divisive behavior. (Not good spiritual fruit – led of the Holy Spirit)

I buy a copy of the Cosmic Chess match, but what in there made you decide to start celebrating “Easter”, and Christmas again? There is a lot of information to discern between, and trying to decipher it all, and remain pure for Christ can be quite challenging. Thanks for your help, and look forward to hearing back from you.

Well Greek Easter is next week (Orthodox Easter), usually a week apart from the catholic easter. In Greece we do say “He has Risen / Christ has risen” = Έχει Ανέστη / Χριστός Ανέστη
Happy Easter with bunnies & colored eggs don’t cut it here. Greeks are very traditional and dye their eggs Red (in Greek: kokkina avga, κόκκινα αυγά, pronounced KOH-kee-nah ahv-GHAH) are perhaps the brightest symbol of Greek Easter, representing the blood of Christ and rebirth. Thanks for your post, I truly enjoy all your messages. May God Bless you

L.A. may I add this for our understanding?
    A blessed resurrection day!
    “on the third day.”
The Jewish idiom of “three days and three nights” can be used when referring to only a part of a day. What confuses most people is the statement about Jonah (Matthew 12:40) which seems to require three days and three nights in the belly (heart) of the earth. However, the main point of the verse is NOT the timing, but that our Lord was in “the heart of the earth” as Jonah was in the “whale’s belly.”
The words “The Feast of Unleavened Bread” often included the “Day of Passover” (Luke 22:1, 7) which was ALWAYS on Nisan 14. Jewish people also refer to the entire 8 days as the “Passover Season” – they still do it today!)
    CONCLUSION:
It appears that Jesus died on Friday, Nisan 15, the first day of Unleavened Bread, a Shabat when the peace offering was sacrificed. He arose from the dead sometime after sundown on Saturday night, the beginning of the “third day” after His death at 3:00 PM on Friday afternoon.
    HE IS OUR PEACE!

WHEN DID JESUS DIE AND WHEN DID HE RISE FROM THE DEAD?

Daniel 9:24-26 – “from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks (69 weeks): the street shall be built again, and he wall, even in troublous times. And after threescore and two weeks (or “after 69 weeks”) shall Messiah be cut off, but not for Himself…”
THE COMMAND TO BUILD THE WALL!
Nehemiah 1:3 – “the wall of Jerusalem also is broken down, and the gates thereof are burned with fire.”
Nehemiah 2:1 – “And it came to pass in the month Nisan, in the 20th year of Artaxerxes (Longimanus – began his rule in 465 BC)…”
Nehemiah 2:8 – “…for the wall of the city…and the king granted me, according to the good hand of my God upon me.”
The 20th year would be 445 BC, and the month of Nisan, the beginning of the religious year, the month in which Passover, Unleavened Bread, and Firstfruits are celebrated.
THE COUNTING OF THE 69 WEEKS!
The Hebrew word for “weeks” is the word “seven” and can refer to “days” or “weeks” or “months” or “years.”
According to Revelation 11:2-3, the period of time known as “forty and two months” represents 1,260 “days” – the prophetic year, therefore, is 360 days.
If the Hebrew word for “weeks” refers to “years” then we have a total of 483 prophetic years of 360 days each – making a grand total of 173,880 days!
Sir Robert Anderson wrote a book entitled “THE COMING PRINCE” in which he calculated the death of Jesus in 32 AD.
THE CIRCUMSTANCES SURROUNDING THE BIRTH, LIFE, AND DEATH OF JESUS!
The DEATH of Herod the Great – Matthew 2:1, 14-19 – Herod the Great was alive at the time of the Messiah’s birth. A reference in Flavius Josephus records an eclipse on March 13, 4 BC, and says that it was “shortly before Herod died.” But, the actual Roman historical date of Herod’s death was January 14, 1 BC.

The DATE of Caesar Augustus -Luke 2:1 -“a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed”

Egyptian records state that Rome took a census every 14 years, and that it took several years to accomplish it.
Caesar Augustus ruled from 43 BC to 14 AD. His real name was Octavian and he was the grandnephew of Julius Caesar.
Luke 2:2 says that “this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria” The Greek text actually says that Quirinius “was governing” in Syria. Flavius Josephus refers to a census in 6 AD when Quirinius as the actual governor. But, at this point in Luke 2:2, Quirinius was merely handling administrative duties in behalf of Varus, the actual governor.
Tertullian, church leader and historian, said that the birth of Jesus was 41 years after Augustus began his rule, and that Augustus died 15 years after the birth of Jesus. The actual date of the death of Caesar Augustus was August 19, 14 AD.
It is interesting to note that Tertullian also said that Jesus was born 28 years after the death of Cleopatra who died in 30 BC.
Irenaeus, a disciples of Polycarp who was a disciple of the Apostle John, says that Jesus was born in the 41st years of the reign of Caesar Augustus. Eusebius, a great church historian, also says the same things. The 42nd year of Augustus ran from the autumn of 2 BC to the autumn of 1 BC.
The DETAILS of the birth and age of Jesus.

It would appear from the Roman records that Jesus was born in 2 BC and that Herod the Great died in a few months after his birth on January 14 in 1 BC.
We are also told in Luke 1:5 that “in the days of Herod, the king of Judea a certain priest named Zacharias, of the course of Abia.” According to I Chronicles 24:1-19 there were 24 courses or divisions of priests, each division serving for 15 days (two weeks), plus being on duty at the special feasts of the Lord. Abia or Abijah’s course was the 8th course among the 24 divisions.
When the Jewish temple was destroyed by the Roman governor Titus on August 5, 70 AD, the first course of priests had just taken office. By tracing back carefully, the 8th course would have ended their duties on July 13, 3 BC. The birth of John the Baptist would be 280 days later, around April 19-20, 2 BC (which, interestingly, was Passover that year!). The birth of Yeshua (Jesus) would have been six months later (cf. Luke 1:36) which would place it in the fall of 2 BC. The actual date in the fall would have been Tishri 1 on the Jewish calendar, which is Rosh HaShanah – the feast of trumpets! The date would have been September 29 in 2 BC when Jesus was born!
Luke 3:23 says “And Jesus Himself began to be about 30 years of age…” This suggests that Jesus began his ministry (after his baptism by John) around the fall of 28 AD. Depending on whether one sees three Passovers or four before the death of Jesus, it is highly possible that he died at Passover in 32 AD which is exactly what Sir Robert Anderson had concluded by his intensive study.
THE DESCRIPTION OF PASSOVER EVENTS WHEN JESUS DIED!
      THE PREPARATION DAY
The Passover IS the “preparation day” when the lambs are killed (regardless of your view). To resolve some problems, some folks place the “preparation day” on the day before the Passover.
The word “preparation” also refers to the day before the weekly Sabbath (such as in Mark 15:42) and should not be confused with the “Preparation Day” when the lambs are killed at Passover. One refers to preparing food before the weekly Sabbath begins, and the other refers to killing the lambs before the evening of Nisan 15 when the Passover meal is eaten before midnight.
      THE PEACE-OFFERING
Nisan 15 is the First Day of Unleavened Bread and is a Shabat (holy convocation – treated as a Sabbath Day) cf. Leviticus 23:2, 6-8.
Nisan 15 is the day of the traditional peace offering – the Bible says in Colossians 1:20 – “having made peace through the blood of His cross” – a possible link to His death on Nisan 15. The problem of the crucifixion on the 14th is that the majority of people would be on the Temple Mount offering the Paschal lambs – Josephus lists a Passover before the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD as killing 256,000 lambs. One lamb was sufficient for a 10-20 people – over 3 million in Jerusalem.
The Greek of Matthew 28:1 lists the word “Sabbath” as a plural – before His resurrection we must have two “Sabbaths” in a row – that would be true if in addition to the weekly Sabbath (Nisan 16) we also had Friday as Nisan 15 of the year He died.
To place the Triumphal Entry on a Shabat (Saturday) is a problem with Jewish law (distance from Bethany). We also have the problem of John 12:1 where we are told that it was “six days before the Passover.” If Nisan 8 is on Friday when the traditional Shabat meal is eaten (if that is what is meant), then Nisan 10 would be on Sunday when the triumphal entry would occur (coinciding with the selection of the lambs for Passover).
The words “high day” must refer to a special Shabat or “holy convocation” – the first and last days of the Feast of Unleavened Bread are “high days” – Nisan 15 and Nisan 21. Also, the thousands of lambs would not be selected (quite a process) on any other day but Nisan 10.
THE PROBLEM OF THREE DAYS AND THREE NIGHTS!
The reference of Jesus to being raised on the “on the third day” also presents a problem – cf. Matthew 16:21; 20:19. Jesus made it clear that He would be raised “the third day” NOT “after three days and three nights.” Also, the Hebrew has an illustration of the problem from the book of Esther. Esther 4:16 speaks of “three days, night or day” of fasting before she would go into the king. But, Esther 5:1 clearly shows that she went “on the third day.”
