The situation in the Middle East is not going away as is evident by the numerous headlines with links that I posted above. The plain and simple truth is that war is coming to the region and we would do well to prepare for it here. The Iranians are threatening that if they are attacked they will strike at US interest, “Anywhere.”

While this may seem like an idle threat there may be a good amount of truth in it and here’s why. Last year Hillary Clinton announced that the “terrorists” were trying to get weapons of mass destruction into the US. This was announced around the time the Iranians were putting the fuel rods into their reactors - with the help of the Rooskies I might add – to start their “peaceful nuclear program.” A few days later Mahmoud Ahmadinejad proclaimed that if Iran was attacked they would detonate weapons of mass destruction in American cities. Was this an idle threat, or was he stating a fact? I propose that the dirty bombs that Osama Bin Laden smuggled across our southern border in the 1990′s are implanted in our cities and guarded by sleeper cells. (See Paul Williams book: Al Qaeda: Brotherhood of Terror) This threat of dirty bombs, left over from the former Soviet Union, along with the price of oil going through the roof, may be the reason that we have not been more aggressive with the Iranians.
If we step back and look at the result of the Arab Spring we see that in place of the democracy, that we were told by our talking heads, in the weasel-in-the-stream media, would be the result of the uprising, Sharia law is set to be implemented. As I have posted before, Israel is now surrounded by hostile neighbors, with perhaps the exception of Jordan, but King Abdullah knows that he must tow the Islamic party-line and he is walking a very tight line indeed, in order to hold on to the reigns of power.
In Closing todays post: War is coming to the region. I believe it is WWIII. This war will not last the 5 years that WWII did, but it will be devastating nonetheless. I would posit that nukes will be used and we will see it all graphically portrayed on TV, as we are now linked together like never before in all of history. Isaiah 17, states that Damascus will become a ruinous heap. Many prophecy scholars have wondered how this would be fulfilled. Perhaps Damascus is destroyed by its own people. What we may see is Assad destroying the city rather than let it fall to the rebels. This may serve as a prelude to Ezekiel 38, which I believe will lead us into the 7 year Tribulation period. The hope of the believer should be in knowing that all of this leads to the Rider on the White Horse coming with the armies of heaven, and freeing this world from the bondage that it has been held under for millennia, by the Fallen One. There is a supernatural element to what we are seeing. There are dark forces, working behind the scenes, but we must remind ourselves of the warning and promise that Yashua/Jesus told us: When you see these things (the wars and rumors of wars and everything I posted in the other news section) look up for your rescue is coming!

By “these things”, I hope you don’t mean assad’s creepy fingers.
Seriously though, I agree that WWIII is on the way, and it’s been rumored to have been in the works for a century or more so the secret societies can bring their “world teacher”. Add to that, transhumanism (as I see in Pandemonium’s Engine) is bringing forth some real possibilities of fulfilling aspects of Revelation.
Not to disagree, but I do want to question if the first horseman is actually Jesus, or maybe the (spirit?) Of antichrist. The reason being, the other horsemen come after and some scholars speculate that it would be premature for Jesus to ride out victoriously. I also note that later in Revelation when Jesus rides out on the white horse, we are told specifically it’s Him, and that His name is written on Him, and He’s described in detail.
I personally have no horse in that race, but wanted to raise my thoughts on that rider and the possibility He may not actually be Jesus.

I think most scholars agree that the first rider is the anti-christ who brings false peace. Thats also how I see it also.

Although, I suppose LA could have meant the REAL white horse and rider coming after all the hoo ha, and not the first seal. I perhaps jumped to conclusions.

Chuck Missler in his Revelation series would definitely agree that the 1st rider on the white horse is the anti-christ. However, Chuck mentions something I had never heard before. The bow in the rider’s possession is the same word used for the rainbow in the Genesis story of Noah. Could this be talking about confirming a covenant with Israel since the rainbow was a sign of the covenant God made promising to never destroy the earth by flood again? Now I realize that the OT was written in Hebrew and the NT was in Greek so I guess Chuck was referring to the Septuigent.

I was curious about that also.. if LA meant that first white horse.. Jesus is the one opening that first seal, doesnt sound logical for Him to come ride then hurry back up to open the 2nd seal..

I still get the willies when I look at that photo of you know who in denver 2008 with that white horse statue right over his head and those rain”bow” logos of his all over( but no arrows!)…..again, wish I could read the original texts!!!! Does the word mean “riding” or does it mean sitting atop and does it set a position as in “he was riding or atop” or was that just assumed? Could it have been the horse riding over him? Any thoughts?

Not that I can get on here. I have the picture saved as a word doc and can’t get it to paste…..it is the horse on the stadium header over that seat of satan set that he had put up like the one in Berlin. A big screen in the center with him and his family with two other big screens flanking that have the giant O bow logos. I’m going to see if I can find it on the internet so I can link…..back in a while!

Reading the Zetas stuff about being octopi (which is plural, by the way so correct headline should have been “being an octopus….) anyhow, there was mention of reincarnation there and it suddenly hit me…..that theory is so popular….maybe because those with tainted blood are different? If a “possessed” person dies with the demon still in them….does the demon die too or just come back with another bad DNA polluted life?

is for today. Assad may destroy it himself, just like LA said, but nevertheless,

lol… No, the water boy job went to Ted Koppel; I was under qualified for that position. If I ever had the honor of being on the rooftop with such chiseled veteran reporters, I would hope to have an UKP23,000 rifle which fires an 8.59mm bullet in the event I need to take sniper shots at the insurgents from the advantage of a roof top position. Not interested in reporting the news, or handing out the water bottles, I want to be a part of the news. However, it would be very difficult to get any shots off with Rivera hiding behind me.
