Obama Defends Roe v. Wade As Way for ‘Our Daughters’ to Have Same Chance As Sons to ‘Fulfill Their Dreams’

Obama Defends Roe v. Wade As Way for ‘Our Daughters’ to Have Same Chance As Sons to ‘Fulfill Their Dreams’ | CNSnews.com

I’m going to address this issue once again as I believe we are so far beyond the pale that we don’t know which way is up anymore.  The above headline spells it out as clear as it can be: … (abortion) as a way for our daughters to have the same chance as sons to fulfill their dreams.  This is what our president believes, it is at the core of his belief system, and take notice  that there is no mention about the unborn, innocent life, only that dreams can be fulfilled.  What about the dreams of the unborn?  I guess they don’t count for anything….

I am appalled at Obama’s stance, his deliberate dodging of the essence of the issue, that an innocent life is about to be taken.  Instead he gives us this politically correct, stance about dreams of our daughters and sons.  I find such a position deplorable and offensive to everything I hold dear and true.  I am reminded of the Biblical verse that I cited yesterday: woe to those who call evil good and good evil.   This is how far we have come as a people when the law of the land ensures that women can kill the baby in their womb and somehow it is twisted into a noble pursuit.

On a supernatural level I believe that the 53 million abortions in this country have opened up strongholds of the demonic.  It is all part of the mystery of lawlessness that is like a dark shadow that looms over our country.  We are a sick, bloated country that should collectively fall on our knees and repent of the wickedness that permeates our society.  Most likely this will not happen and we will continue to participate in activities like the super bowl, American Idol, Dancing with the stars and fighting for 12 dollar toasters on Black Friday, and ignore the holocaust of the unborn that has created a blood curse on the land.

In closing today’s post: When I talk of the abortion holocaust at conferences, as it is part of my presentation, I always point out that there is forgiveness from God. I’m not sanctioning the act, but stating that forgiveness of even this sin is readily available.  There are some who will read this post who have had abortions.  You are forgiven.  The enemy may want to keep you in bondage and shame, however, greater is He that reside us in than he that is in the world.  All of us have sinned.  We all fall short of the mark.  We have all done things that we are ashamed of, but the blood of Jesus who died for us covers our sins and we are cleansed

The answer to the abortion issue is simple.  If the church would collectively rise together as a whole and create a program to adopt the unwanted child then how many lives would we save?  This is what we should be doing instead of dwelling on when we get raptured!  Yashua/Jesus admonishes us to destroy the works of the devil.  In my opinion, abortion bears the fingerprints of the fallen one all over it.   God help us….

Hello L.A Marzulli, I finished your cosmic chess match novel and it was an excellent read, i let some christian friends read it after as well as my dad and they all fell in love, one of his friends just purchased another copy! Just wanted to say good work and I love how you can break down scripture like that and explain what is really going on, because the church’s fail to talk about it Terry

I watched Watchers 3, when I got home…it was well done and very informative and a good job….
I was especially intrigued by the Shroud and Hopi discussion ….. maybe Stan Deyo will tells us more what was said to him in Watchers 4.
Keep up the good work…it seems every Watchers series that comes out is better than the previous.

Again, keep up the good work. Thanks.

Wow. Obama’s logic is mind boggling. He calls abortion “a private family matter”. That’s like saying honour killings are “a private family matter”. Just because it is an issue that stays within a family doesn’t mean we should just let it be.

And since when is abortion a “constitutional right”? Did they re-write the constitution when I wasn’t watching?

    • Greg the Electrician said

Just consider Obama to be a hard-core Socialist, using “The Rules of Alinsky”.

There’s a comparable bookelt out now called “Rules for Patriots”, I think offered by Freedom Works.

      We must re-learn our constitution.

It’s hypocritical to say that abortion is “a private family matter” and fund it with public money.
If it’s a private matter. there should be no tax support.

Compare China where population is supposedly the reason to limit family size.
If someone promotes abortion for population control, it’s hypocritical to say it’s “a private family matter.”

Compare India where girl offspring are less desired than boys.
If someone uses lax enforcement of the law to allow more abortions to have more male babies, then it’s hypocritical to say it’s “a private family matter.”

Compare Russia where abortion has been so heavily practiced that the Russian population is dwindling compared to other populations.
Is abortion still a “private family matter?” They don’t think so and are trying to reverse abortion practices.

Compare with the USA were abortion has taken a major economic driver of the addition of 1 million people a year out of the economy.
How’s that working for you? That’s like exterminating the states of California and Texas. It’s a two-faced spin to try to con people into believing it’s “private family matter.”

Following up on Marzulli’s point about “calling evil good.” Consider the doom that brings on those that do so.

Proverbs 17:13 Whoso rewardeth evil for good, evil shall not depart from his house.

Obama and all those like him have cursed their own children and spouse and self. They’ve invited the rebel angels to infest them and use them. That’s not a private family matter.Definitely not for a president. So is he already out of control when he supports the doctrines of demons?

Lord please let your holy angels bind the rebels that try to control the office of the president, and remove the scales from the president’s eyes so that he can see he has cursed his own daughters horribly along with those of many many other families. Let him repent in that time and receive your forgiveness and learn how to be delivered from family curses. Same way out we all have Lord Y’shua (Jesus). By your sacrifice and your grace. And sealed by your Holy Spirit. Please expose the schemes of the false witnesses and unjust judges, and corrupt authorities, that they be used a public examples. Because not in the least, your duty and honor is to destroy every wicked work of the devil. And your love is for the little ones that you’ve warned we should not offend. How much more we all should fear your justice for any violence or neglect or silence by which they’re killed — especially from their own parents.

I am so surprised that God hasn’t punished us for this! Anyhow, we realize that upon conception, that “newbie’s” “DNA” is recorded into God’s Book of Life.

If I remember correctly, their souls are under God’s Heavenly Alter…and to be Avenged somehow.

We should all contact your State and Federal Representatives to De-Fund Planned Parenthood. They are a profitable business, that receives subsidies….Oh Really!

They don’t belong in our schools! Sometimes a teenage girl, doesn’t have to have parental permission! Why Not?

My theory is that our illegal immigration problem is the result of aborting 50,000,000 babies.

    LA,

This is a great post. You almost had me in tears. And I pray that those who have had abortions find peace, rest and forgiveness in Jesus. I knew a lady that I think had an abortion, and she was bound by shame even though now a Christian.

I know another woman who has possibly had one, and she is incredibly angry and difficult to deal with, perhaps unresolved guilt issues?

    PS,

LA, you might want to fix the “so far beyond the pale” part, there is an unintentional typo that may add unintended levity to a serious topic.

Abortion helps to fulfill our daughter’s dreams? Well, what kind of thinking do you expect from someone who’s “been in 57 states”?

A little off topic – yesterday the Washington State legislature announced that it now has enough votes to make gay “marriage” legal. Washington State will be the 7th State where this is legal. We already have abortion and assisted suicide.

There are 4 dormant volcanoes in this State. I live between two of them.
The Cascadia Fault is just off the west coast – read one mother of an earthquake not to mention a tsunami that could take out everything along the coast, if this fault hiccups.
We are prone to high winds which take down trees and obliterate power lines like the major snow storm we just had.

However, I trust in a merciful God.

    Lamentations 3:22-23
    Amplified Bible (AMP)

22 It is because of the Lord’s mercy and loving-kindness that we are not consumed, because His [tender] compassions fail not.
23 They are new every morning; great and abundant is Your stability and faithfulness.

    2 Peter 3:9
    New International Version (NIV)

9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

But like any good parent, the Father will have to respond, I think.
What’s really sad is that these people are so blind. They have no idea what they are doing. We have to pray and pray hard for this blindness to be removed.

    • Mrs M said

      HI Virginia,
I live in WA state as well and am sickened by this news. If people would realize marriage is an institution created by God, it is a picture of God’s intention towards humanity. He describes Himself as a husband to us, and for them to want it so badly makes me know they do it only to mock Him.

I know of a man who was married to my friend, a pastor who was a closet homosexual. He brought home many std’s and finally fessed up to his backsliding nature. He now is ‘married’ to his partner but continually engages in orgies etc. His children are now exposed to this lifestyle but remain strong in their faith and still pray for their father.

Yet for all this, his anger is not turned away, his hand is still upraised- We still have time, pray for the unsaved.

  7. Elaine said

And why doesn’t anyone ask him about the dreams of those murdered children and someday maybe his own grandchildren???????
I knew the minute I read way back in 2008 that he heard the weeping nurse testify about holding a baby who had not died during the the partial birth abortion that I could never vote for him. she told how the baby had had its brains scrambled by a scalpel or scissors before its little head came out of the womb so that it could not be called a live birth….but it continued to breath and move!!!!…..she was told to deny it any help and it had been put on a shelf in a storage closet to die. Can’t remember now but I think she lost or quit her job because she sat and held and cuddled it until it passed.
Obama heard her story and he still voted in favor of that kind of late term butchery! I wonder if he could ponder the dreams of that daughter as the blade punctured her skull and stirred her brains.

I am sorry L.A. Marzulli if you think I am wrong in my assement of Barack S. Obama -I believe he is, as mention in the Bible as (The King of The South) Because he has assumed power under false information and false representation . His actions all speak of deception and the Bible really makes no clear mention of The United States in the last days (as if something has drasticly changed ) He is systematically sending this country to the dogs faster than 200 yrs have done. I truly feel he will through, more deceptive means stay as President to finish his unseen agenda and bring about the end of this country . He did not inherite the choices he continues to make -so he should stop beating that horse and blaming the american public for the flat out Lies of those in power !

John – that wasn’t my intention. I have been in conferences where the majority of folks have what I would call Rapture fever. 10. Terra said

Obama wants to raise up the muslim values and crush the christian theology especially anything pertaining to -Jesus – its just more proof of what our Lord has already said of the last generation- WoW is the enemies time getting shorter !

    • Abortion is not a Muslim value. On another note, L.A. pointed out the need for Christians to adopt unwanted children. We already have stuff like that in place, but unfortunately mothers still abort babies or leave them in trash cans. Matthew 24 tells us “because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.” After being indoctrinated that life isn’t life, many people don’t think twice about killing the unborn. Obama’s view probably represents a vast number of people around the world.

I think the problem is from within the Church partially. People spend so much time preaching abstinence, but not a word about what to do IF you’ve already had sex and are pregnant. I knew girl in high school that had an abortion because her parents were super religious Christians and she was scared of how they would react.

It’s a shame that kids are so scared of their parent’s religious beliefs that they’d rather exterminate a life than to let their parents find out that they had sex. The fact is that the majority of kids are going to have sex before marriage and the Church needs to be a refuge instead of a deterrent. Teaching abstinence sounds good, but the reality is, it isn’t working obviously, so there needs to be something being taught in addition to abstinence for those people that are past that option.

    • Vincent W said

Teaching abstinence is good but we also need to teach our children love (no pun intended). For any child to be fearful of their Christian parents is a terrible thing.

And the fact is, life can still be wonderful after an unexpected pregnancy. Teenage pregnancy is not the biggest problem in the world. Not even close. I don’t think any teenage mom who decided to keep the baby would ever say it ruined her life. Sure it changes things and puts plans on hold but it never ruins a life to save a life.

    • nomemoleste said

No surprise, the solution is Christ, not abstinence. Without Christ the will power won’t be there, much the same as less will power when drinking or drugging or overeating. And the fact is that teenage libido is hard to exercise control over, not unlike the impact of steroids. Then again so is appetite.

Muslims and amish both separate the sexes. How’s that worked as a solution in your estimation?

We see how pedophile catholic priests have dealt with the “no masturbation” and “no marriage” doctrines.

Paul was instructive. Better to marry than burn. And note the point about wantoness and damnation, to Timothy.

      1 Timothy 5
      11 But the younger widows refuse: for when they have begun to wax wanton against Christ, they will marry;
12 Having damnation, because they have cast off their first faith.

The fear of the Lord counts for much. “On some have compassion, making a difference. Others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment spotted by flesh.” (Jude)

As does the ministrations of the Holy Ghost who will deal with us each quite graciously in learning to deal with sexuality, as has been my experience.

BUT why connect sex to abortion, when contraception can easily solve the abortion issue? Except of course for the rebel angels using the issue for their games.

    • Dante, I’m sorry to hear about your friend’s decision. She obviously wasn’t taught to fear God since she was more scared of her parents. We (parents) are not perfect but our responsibility is to teach them to love God with all their heart, mind and strength. That will detail God’s grace, forgiveness, restoration, fruits of the Spirit, etc and most importantly living out our faith that our kids will see what a real relationship with Christ looks like.

Being a super religious Christian is an oxymoron…. God help us and forgive us for worshipping with our lips and not our heart.

If the pastor is only preaching or teaching on “selective topics” and not rightly dividing the whole Word of God, then the people will not be fully equipped for battle….the full armor of God must be put on at all times.

    Hi LA and everyone:

This issue is dear to my heart. I have had a couple friends that have had more than one abortion, one had 5, having used it as contraception. Both these women are now older and saved. One sees the devestations this has brought to her psyche and the other still denies the ramifications to some degree. All in all, it is a terrible thing to go through or to have to live with as I have witnessed first hand through these friendships. My heart has ached for these women and all that have gone through this scourge and my heart aches for the precious lives lost to this world but found and alive and well with the Lord. It would be a noble thing for the church to rise up and help to bring about some further changes to this situation by more adoptions. I am aware that there are plenty of pro-life groups that try to prevent this situation with programs of sex education, abstinence teaching, adoption programs, and resources for mothers who want to keep their children. The sad thing is that there are far too few chirstians who get involved in this arena, as it costs something. And, with the 20th century crazy christian false theology that is promoted, espeically here in America, it’s no wonder. We’ve been conditioned to just name it and claim it, believe and you shall receive and we are too focused on ourselves to think how the Lord may want to stetch us to use us in another’s life to help bring His healing and salvation and help. It’s easy to go to church, to say we believe the Word but doing the word is another story. I believe the church of the 20th sentrury is somewhat to blame for this scourge, as we have not been salt and light or love and grace in the lives of the many who need it. We want our christianity to be safe and neat but real life and loosing one from sin unto salvation and healing can be a dirty business. Jesus got dirty when He came to dwell with us and He did it for love. If only we would be like our master, perhaps less of these type of atroscities would mar our society. We do know, however, that when He comes, He will right all wrongs, heal the land and righteousness will reign. God forgive us and help us to be like you and we can’t wait for your return. Amen!

Yet another reason to stop putting artificial flavours/colours into our bodies. Go natural!
And avoid unecessary vaccines as well as they may be made using fetal stem cells. I have seen a chart of vaccines that use the same methods with fetal stem cells and can email the list to anyone that is interested, too long got post here sorry.
It’s not just Pepsico; according to COGFL’s website, Nestle and Kraft Foods are also dealing with Senomyx the biomedical firm that uses fetal cell lines in flavor technology.
I want to point out that the cells are not being used directly in food at this time.(No, they are not yet making Soylent Green). They are being used in the development of artificial sweeteners, which to me is no less repugnant and still as unethical as if they were. I strongly encourage everybody to write to PepsiCo and protest their partnership with Senomyx let them know you longer will knowingly purchase any products from PepsiCo and let them know why.
Their website lists all of their brands.

Hello everyone. I hardly ever post here but come and read the BLOG whenever I can. The issue of abortion and adoption is something I care very deeply about. Just being a woman who has given birth 2 times is reason enough for me to HATE abortion with as much passion as I can muster up.

FORTUNATELY, when I was young and found myself with an unwanted pregnancy and after being too afraid to tell ANYONE, much less my parents, my sister figured out that I was pregnant and told my father for me.Long story short with absolutely NO support from my family…. I chose to give my child up for adoption. Abortion was NEVER an option for me. I gave birth to my beautiful daughter very early one morning very much alone. After her birth, I sank into a major depression. I wanted so badly to get her back. I tried to get my then “boyfriend” to help me but he refused. He denied he was her father, etc etc etc, same story you always hear. There was no question what so ever that he was Sarah’s father. She looked like him a lot and her father was the only man I had dated. I THOUGHT he was the best man in the world. The man for me. SO very wrong there.. Anyway, I thank God that i chose to give my child life. I did meet her a few years ago and she is doing well. It was not the reunion I had always hoped and prayed for but I thank God she is alive and had a very good life.

I just felt like sharing this to give another perspective. if this is not allowed, please delete my post Dr. Marzulli. I am happy that I chose life and that my birth daughter had a good life. She is in the Coast Guard now and very happy and well adjusted. One of the first questions she asked me when we met was whether I thought of aborting her. I was so so happy that I could emphatically tell her NO I did not. Anything I went through while I was pregnant or after was well worth it as I know some where in America my daughter Sarah is alive and happy and serving her country. I do not feel the regret of having had an abortion. Giving her up for adoption was not an easy thing to do though. Not at all. I suffered for a very long time. I think about her everyday since the radio station I listen to prays for the troops every hour. I always add Sarah’s name to that list of troops being prayed for at that particular time.

I also have begun to try and learn everything I can about angels, the end times, etc. I want to begin reading your books Dr. Marzulli. Your BLOG is very interesting and informative. Thank you for everything you put into it. I have already learned a lot from you but want to learn more.

This question is somewhat off the wall, but I was wondering if the people that have been involved with an abortion in their life will see the “baby” in heaven when they pass away, if they have of course turn their life over to Christ and ask for forgiveness and repented. We hear stories of “NDE” or Near-Death Experience survivors tell their stories of meeting their long past relatives, some of them much younger then when they remember them on earth, such as older parents that have past now seem young and vibrant. I wonder if they will see the baby that was aborted, but see them as much older, as an adult instead of a child or baby. Someone asked me my thoughts on this the other day and I gave them my opinion but would like to hear others view on the subject…thanks.

    • mark said

most defiately! there will be tears, forgiveness, then eternal joy!!!

    • mark said

yes, they will see them as young adults. we will all be the same age.

      maybe oh 33 or so!

    • Vincent W said

I think people who die young (including babies) enter heaven at that age but grow into adulthood while they are there. Obviously a child does not stay a child forever in heaven but I also don’t think it makes sense for them to skip childhood altogether. Of course I’m only guessing, but that makes the most sense to me.

    • mark said

interesting spin but perfection doesn’t need to grow up.

Results: A total of 825,564 abortions were reported to CDC for 2008. Of these, 808,528 abortions (97.9% of the total) were from the 45 reporting areas that provided data every year during 1999–2008. Among these same 45 reporting areas, the abortion rate for 2008 was 16.0 abortions per 1,000 women aged 15–44 years, and the abortion ratio was 234 abortions per 1,000 live births. Compared with 2007, the total number and rate of reported abortions for these 45 reporting areas essentially were unchanged, although the abortion ratio was 1% higher. Reported abortion numbers, rates, and ratios remained 3%, 4%, and 10% lower, respectively, in 2008 than they had been in 1999.

Women aged 20–29 years accounted for 57.1% of all abortions reported in 2008 and for the majority of abortions during the entire period of analysis (1999–2008). In 2008, women aged 20–29 years also had the highest abortion rates (29.6 abortions per 1,000 women aged 20–24 years and 21.6 abortions per 1,000 women aged 25–29 years). Adolescents aged 15–19 years accounted for 16.2% of all abortions in 2008 and had an abortion rate of 14.3 abortions per 1,000 adolescents aged 15–19 years; women aged ≥35 years accounted for a smaller percentage (11.9%) of abortions and had lower abortion rates (7.8 abortions per 1,000 women aged 35–39 years and 2.7 abortions per 1,000 women aged ≥40 years). Throughout the period of analysis, abortion rates decreased among adolescents aged ≤19 years, whereas they increased among women aged ≥35 years. Among women aged 20–24 years abortion rates decreased during 1999–2003 and then leveled off during 2004–2008.

In contrast to the percentage distribution of abortions and abortion rates by age, abortion ratios in 2008 and throughout the entire period of analysis were highest among adolescents aged ≤19 years and lowest among women aged 30–39 years. Abortion ratios decreased during 1999–2008 for women in all age groups except for those aged <15 years; however, the steady decrease was interrupted from 2007 to 2008 when abortion ratios increased among women in all age groups except for those aged ≥40 years.

In 2008, most (62.8%) abortions were performed at ≤8 weeks’ gestation, and 91.4% were performed at ≤13 weeks’ gestation. Few abortions (7.3%) were performed at 14–20 weeks’ gestation, and even fewer (1.3%) were performed at ≥21 weeks’ gestation. During 1999–2008, the percentage of abortions performed at ≤13 weeks’ gestation remained stable, whereas abortions performed at ≥16 weeks’ gestation decreased 13%–17%. Moreover, among the abortions performed at ≤13 weeks’ gestation, the distribution shifted toward earlier gestational ages, with the percentage of abortions performed at ≤6 weeks’ gestation increasing 53%.

In 2008, 75.9% of abortions were performed by curettage at ≤13 weeks’ gestation, and 14.6% were performed by early medical abortion (a nonsurgical abortion at ≤8 weeks’ gestation); 8.5% of abortions were performed by curettage at >13 weeks’ gestation. Among the 62.8% of abortions that were performed at ≤8 weeks’ gestation and thus were eligible for early medical abortion, 22.5% were completed by this method. The use of medical abortion increased 17% from 2007 to 2008.

Deaths of women associated with complications from abortions for 2008 are being investigated under CDC’s Pregnancy Mortality Surveillance System. In 2007, the most recent year for which data were available, six women were reported to have died as a result of complications from known legal induced abortions. No reported deaths were associated with known illegal induced abortions.

Among the 45 areas that reported data every year during 1999–2008, the total number and rate of reported abortions essentially did not change from 2007 to 2008. This finding is consistent with the recent leveling off from steady decreases that had been observed in the past. In contrast, the abortion ratio increased from 2007 to 2008 after having decreased steadily. In 2007, as in previous years, reported deaths related to abortion were rare.
