The Coming of the Strongman???

Dozens die as 14 bombs explode across Baghdad
BAGHDAD — A wave of bombings ripped across Baghdad on Thursday morning, killing at least 60 people and injuring more than 150 in the worst violence Iraq has seen for months.
The beginning of what I believe may be the third leg of the Luciferian Dialectic, has begun as this wave of violence that has claimed the lives of more than 150 people is a harbinger of the sectarian violence – think Shia against Sunni Moslem – that will shatter the fragile peace in Iraq. I have been harping on this for months now and as the headline plainly states above, 14 bombs were exploded in Baghdad. So much for tourism there. You may also recall that only a few weeks ago I posted a picture of Iraqi’s burning American and Israeli flags. Ron Paul is correct when he states that many people in the Middle East hate us as we have invaded their country. According to Judge Andrew Napolitano, the United States has 900 military bases world-wide. That is what I would consider an hegemony. Can you imagine what we would hear if Russia had those bases instead of us?
While we are being told that our troops are out of Iraq, Dr. Stan Monteith of Radio Liberty assured his listeners, on his show that I was a guest on last night and will return at 3 pm today, that there are still 17,000 US troops stationed in Iraq. I also added that according to some INTEL sources some of those troops have been moved to the Syrian/Jordanian border. The Malaki government is enervated, the police impotent, the Iraqi people war-weary and with 14 bombs exploding in the capital it is graphic evidence that Iraq is a quagmire. This calls for the Strongman.
I have talked about the Coming of the Strongman for years and how it will play into Biblical end-times prophecy. The short of it is this. Iraq will embrace a man who can bring law and order and a semblance of stability to that country. This man will be heralded as the greatest peace-maker in the history of the world. Here’s the post that I wrote several weeks ago that details what I believe is the Coming of the Strongman….
12/15/2011 (I will discuss this at length with Dr. Stan today @ 3pm (PST)
Today marks the official end of the Iraq war and the withdrawal of our troops. What should be asked, is why now with the entire region in the throes of the Arab Spring? Why now when the area is more unstable than ever? Why now, when the sectarian violence continues to plague the country? Why now with Iran licking its chops and looking toward its weakened neighbor? Why now, with all Arab nations eyeing Israel and Egyptians In Tahrir square chanting, to Jerusalem we go Martyrs in the millions!
We might never know the official body count of Iraqi dead, but we lost American blood and treasure in what I believe was a war that never should have been fought in the first place. I understand all to well, that Saddam, and his crazy sons were madmen and the world is better off without them. But I posit the question, what have we gained by spending billions of tax payers dollars? What have we accomplished over there?
I have posted before that I believe we are in the midst of Luciferain Dialectic. The conflict is 911, the counter-conflict is the Afghan war followed by our Iraqi invasion. Now we are about to see the closing of the third leg of the dialectic, that of synthesis. In my opinion we should keep an eye on the Hashemite King of Jordan. As I posted earlier this week, allegedly our troops are based along the Jordanian/Syrian border. Why now?
The Malaki government is enervated at best and when US forces leave, watch the escalation of violence as the feud between Shia and Sunni Moslem explodes. With Iran pressing the eastern border and the independent Kurds in the North, Iraq will implode. Most of the Arab nations along with HAMAS, Hezbollah and Syria, are calling for a war against Israel, and at some point they will pull the trigger.
In Closing todays post: The stage is now set in Iraq for the entrance of the STRONGMAN. One who will take the reins of power in Iraq and also carve out a “lasting peace” between the Palestinians – an invented people by the way – and Israel. I realize it sounds far-fetched but so did war games in the Straights of Hormuz… right? Now the Iranians are conducting war games for just such a scenario. We will have to see how all of this plays out, but I believe our leaving the country is the last move of the Luciferian Dialectic and sets the stage for the entrance of the Strongman!

Watchers 3 is now shipping!
Undecided about what to give this holiday season? Why not the Watchers series as it will get people thinking!
I was especially intrigued by the Shroud and Hopi discussion ….. maybe Stan Deyo will tells us more what was said to him in Watchers 4.
Keep up the good work…it seems every Watchers series that comes out is better than the previous.
Again, keep up the good work. Thanks.

L.A. I asked this before, but I am not sure you saw it. Does your discernment lead you to believe that this strongman is the Assyrian in Isaiah? I am confused about this and wondered if you knew or had an opinion on that.

LA I’m just wondering why you keep using the phrase “strongman”. I assume you are speaking of the anti-Christ, but does the Bible refer to him as the strongman anywhere?
hopeful_watcher said
Or the Assyrian… Who is not the same as the Antichrist, imo.

the strongman is a term used in deliverance ministries. when someone is possesed there are usually a few demons involved.
the strongman is the leader or strongest of the group. i think he’s eqating the anti-christ as a strongman.

Yes, Satan will have his day with all the control he wants so he may do what he wants…for a time…a short time. It will be a time when the term “All Hell is released” will be a reality.
But for those of us who are born again in Jesus Christ, our Hope IS Christ our Lord, Savior and King. We must NEVER lose sight of that fact.
Satan’s time is short and limited and I would not want the most evil person on earth to go through what is coming under his control, but praise be to God Almighty as HE will send His Son SOON to gather up those that are His and take them home.
Until then, WE must occupy and spread the Gospel and warn of what is coming for look uP…Jesus Christ is on His way back to bind the Strong man and cast him into the Lake of Fire forever. Thus we will ALWAYS be with the Lord.
Amen!

not quite off topic but it just struck me with Jeff’s remark about Christ coming to swoop us up and outa here…..for all the pre-trib, post-trib, pan-trib (Love it, L.A.!)
So many think they will have to worry about whether to “go” when the time comes….whether it will be some alien/demonic space ship or transmutaion gizmo or…..on and on.
What struck me was the way Jeff phrased it….a loving parent doesn’t ask the child if it wants to be pulled away from danger…..a loving Parent just swoops the kid up and out of harms way! And I remember many times when my kids were heading for the busy street or toddling toward an electrical outlet with a metal toy that I never asked, “Honey, do you want Mama to pick you up so you don’t get hurt?”….I just swooped them up!
hopeful_watcher said
But are we REALLY in danger or do we just think we are? Eternal life is eternal life, no? Are the martyrs not in heaven with the Lord? Why didn’t God swoop them up? Are we better than those?
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written: “For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered. No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Hi Hopeful Watcher, I’m not quite sure what you meant [ over here in Australia I've just poured myself into my computer chair after a very hectic days work]. As you acknowledge ,Christians have been persecuted from Day 1. We’re not really better than the martyrs are we? If we are Raptured isn’t it because we are Christians and because we just happen to be alive at the time in history when the Rapture occurs. Did that last bit I wrote make sense?
hopeful_watcher said
If we are not (swooped up) raptured does it mean God has forsaken us? I am not interested in a rapture debate. I just want us all to say God is in control, He loves us and what he does is because of that Love, so whatever will be will be.
My comments were directed at God swooping us up, because that is what we humans feel a good father would do. Putting expectations on God based on our own human emotions is a dangerous thing to do. God will do what he does and He will do it because He loves us. And if He does something different than what we expect its not because He has forsaken us.
Elaine said
I agree with you, Hopeful, I was just saying that the mechanics of the rapture will be in God’s control and will happen when it happens because He is the loving parent who just does it when He deems the time is right.
I see folks thinking that they will have some say in how it happens……IMO when the voice said “Come up hither” He was talking to John the revelator only as in “Come here, I wanna show you something that I want you to write about”……not that we will be swooped out of all tribulations. Haven’t we all learned from and experienced enough of them to know that we indeed have our share to get through and He has let us have those to learn? We must be ready to face anything knowing He will be there with us!
hopeful_watcher said
Amen, to that Elaine. I have had my trials like anyone and I wait with anticipation to when the Lord takes it all away.
ghillie said
Hi Hopeful,I didn’t want to debate the Rapture. I’m Pan Trib myself. Trials and tribulations are part of life. I was just after a clarification.
Frank said
I really think as soon as 2012 rolls over, things will get interesting.
Even so, the end is not yet, and I would prepare for persecution. I believe Christ will come to Rapture us believers (pan-trib) but I think persecution is likely to come first. Read wurmbrand’s “tortured for Christ”. It’s amazing.

Oh ok, got it, thanks for clearing that up. My question for you is, do you believe the devil just resides in the USA, or do you feel it may be possible for him to travel a bit to different locations around the world as well ? I’m working on a theory, now it’s only a theory mind you, but I have a sneaking suspicion the “devil” aka Beelzebub, aka Belial, aka Leviathan and so on…might be able to move freely from country to country. I don’t feel he is a respecter of countries boundaries or international lines. I might be wrong on this, he might reside on or near Bourbon Street in the French Quarter of New Orleans, the jury is still out on that.

NO SATAN DOES NOT MOVE AROUND. HE IS NOT OMNI PRESENT AS THE FATHER IS. HE IS A STATIONARY PIECE OF CARRBAGE. HE HAS HIS GENERALS DIRECT THIER DEMON HOARDS TO DO THE DEVILS WORK. WE AS A PEOPLE ARE NOT THAT IMPORTANT. SATAN HAS HIS ARMY TO DO HIS WORK. HE HARDLY IF EVER COMES TO ANYONE PERSONALY.
lamarzulli said
John S. While Satan is not omnipresent he does move around. When he appears to Yashua it’s in the desert and later – at a more opportune time – he enters Judas in Jerusalem, thus he’s moving around.
Vincent W said
I’m not sure that this idea of a single powerful “Satan” is accurate. According to the book of Enoch there are many satans. I think “satan” refers to simply “adversary” so we have many adversaries. And the word “devil” means “slanderer” or “liar”.
If we are looking for a single chief trouble maker among the fallen angels it is probably Azazel, the scapegoat, as he is probably the one who seduced Eve and started all the trouble, but whether he is any more powerful than any of the other fallen angels is unclear.
However, whether there is one Satan or many satans the book of Job is clear that he does (or they do) move around.
Job 1:7
The LORD said to Satan, “Where have you come from?” Satan answered the LORD, “From roaming throughout the earth, going back and forth on it.”

I believe the strong-man LA is referring to is the Anti-christ aka Man of Sin/Lawlessness and Son of Perdition.
He will present the “alien gospel” or angel gospel which the sales pitch will include, “You’ll be like an angel or a god” with all the other benefits LA mentions.
Satan is ready for the Church to be out of the picture so he can amaze the world with his counterfeit powers, signs and lying wonders. See 2 Thessalonians 2 for more details.

This Arab Super State is the counter to the strongman. These are Sunni Muslims and the strongman will be Shia. Remember the AC empire will include all religions including moderate Muslims, so once the Shia complete their mission to creating total chaos in the area, the AC steps in and cleans it all up and units the world.

Hello Hopeful Watcher, over here in Australia in the Sunny State of Queensland I work with Disabled [profoundly] People. One of my workmates is a Pakistani. He is a kind friendly gentle man and a gentleman. He is a Wahabi Moslem. Today he offered me a cheerful heartfelt ” Merry Christmas “. This made a big impression on me , particularly when the Google Icon offers me a ” Happy Holiday “. Not making a point about anything ,just sharing .
hopeful_watcher said
Thanks for sharing Ghillie. Love knows no boundaries, not ethnicity, nor religion or creed. So, the question becomes how do you give the greatest gift of love back to your Pakistani workmate, which is the gift of our Lord Jesus Christ. You know we have a member of our church who is married with three children who is Pakistani and had converted to Christianity. Around the 9/11 tension they were looking to deport him and his family. They probably would of killed him. We fought tooth and nail as a church with Immigration for him to stay with lots of prayer. God had plans for his family here. They are happily well adjusted here and surrounded by the love of Christ.

“Jesus and Me!” — A Muslim Ponders, by Hesham Hassaballa, 12-20-2011
“http://www.onislam.net/english/back-to-religion/customizing-religion/450284-qjesus-and-meq-a-muslim-ponders.html”
Of course, a muslim won’t say that Christ is the Son of God who died in the flesh on the cross, to take the punishment for all our sins, and resurrected again to ascend to and rule from the throne of Heaven. Who also gives eternal life to those He’s saved.
1st John 2:18-25 and 1st John 4:1-6 and 2nd John 1:7-11 — all very much expose muslims as antichrists — because of what they do not believe about Jesus.
Vincent W said
Jesus is exactly the reason why Islam does not make sense. They say that Allah is all knowing and wants everyone to be Muslim. Yet at the same time they say that Allah deceived people into believing that Jesus was crucified when he really was not.
If both those statements are true (which Muslims claim) then Allah is either completely incompetent because he inadvertently created the world’s largest religion which opposes Islam, or he is completely malicious and purposely created the world’s largest religion to lead people astray.
Islam clearly does not make any sense. Try telling this to a Muslim and they will bombard you with all kinds of vitriol.

He doesn’t believe what I believe but he is a good caring man and he offered me a ” Merry Christmas” not silence or a bloodless “Happy Holiday”. Today is a wonderful day to consider our savior Yahshua Messiah / Jesus Christ / YHWH Adonai.
As regards the rapture and considering that we have both a spiritual body and a natural body, what do you suppose happened to Stephen the Martyr just before he was stoned? Was he enraptured if not physically raptured? Please consider that the physical body isn’t all that important to the process whenever it happens. Those that have passed on will certainly regain their physical bodies again as it unfolds.
What about the Two Witnesses of Revelation 11 ?? Are they raptured after their resurrection? Is that the first resurrection? Why would a loving parent treat Stephen and the Two Witnesses differently than the rest of the siblings? For instance if we say that the Two Witnesses are Enoch and Elijah — have they already been raptured? Why would they need to return? Would a loving parent cast them back into travail? Would a loving parent let their only begotten (actual) son sacrifice himself on a cross by the hands of the law unjustly (both legal and religious authorities)? Perhaps there’s more to overcoming that we should consider.
Who is Jesus? As best I can tell so far — since He’s so much wonderfully more, I’m sure — is that he’s the only actual true Son of God, in the sense of Almighty God taking on a physical body to interact with us. But he’s more than just the physical body of Christ. When that body was crucified and lay in the tomb, where was Jesus? Jesus is also the Word of God, that comes out from Him into our eyes and ears, and to embrace us. The very Word that was with God from the beginning, by which the heavens and earth and all creation has been made, who was also made flesh. And still He’s so much more.
He is the very Vine of God, onto which we a grafted, which such thing can not be physical, but must be spiritual. None can go to the Father but by him. None have seen the Father at any time and lived, apart from seeing Christ. As He said, He and the Father are One.
As best I can tell, He is also One in the sense of time where the Father holds the past in His hands (the record of works), and the Holy Spirit holds the plan in His, (the scroll of the future, His will). One God holding past and future, but living each moment in the present with us through His Son. We each have past, present, and future and we are made in His image. So as Son of God he is also the present manifestation, (or present tense), the “I am.” That’s why I say, He is YHWH Adonai / Jesus Christ / Yahshua Messiah. He was there before creation as The Father. He already has shown a bit of the next creation as The Holy Spirit. And He will carry us all together from this Creation into the next with Him as both our living Noah and Ark. Just as He carries us through the doors of physical death and resurrection. We who are saved will never truly be alone or apart from Him, no matter what happens to our flesh. Consider the Crucifixion.
Many say that the Father abandoned Him at the Cross, pointing to his own words — but they fail to recognize that those words were written in Psalm 22 by David who looked ahead. Christ quoted them. And Psalm 22 sweeps through the experience of humiliation, torture, demonic attack, and death into overcoming and exaltation! Christ knew that the darkest point would come to pass.
There’s much more I can tell of Him, of Jesus, who is Savior and Lord. Who is Father, and Brother, and Husband to His Body, which are those who are His, saved from our sins and from the traps of the rebels (whether angel, human, animal, or other).
And I will tell more through continuing ages where time is limitation no more, of Y’shua, most beloved to me and I hope to you also.
Hallelu-Yah!

Thanks for the feedback LA. That helps! I was responding to some of the comments, rather than the main blog topic for yesterday.
There seemed to be quite of bit of worry about the impending “doom” of the arrival of the antichrist. Those that aren’t “pre-wrath” are thinking about what it means to experience persecution and deprivation because of what’s clearly unfolding around us. My point is that we don’t have to go through it alone.
I’ve noticed I usually get in trouble with you when I comment on following days. When you’re out of touch on saturdays or weekends the world nonetheless marches on. We comment on events. What helps is pulling together, and I agree it’s your blog, and you set the tone and the boundaries. It helps to know those extents. Your point (I’m paraphrasing) is to be more conversational about the blog topic or current day that you’ve pointed out. I’ll certainly respect that. Let me know if I’ve missed anything.
Btw, the evening of the 20th (here in the US, 12-21-2011, in the mid-east), I was “visited” by some “strongman” as I was sitting who tried to paralyze me. No visuals, just that getting pinned experience, which persisted as I walked around. I prayed and rebuked in the name of Jesus (and by His authorities) and had peace with no fear through the whole event, though my heart raced. Felt great the next day. Something similar happened a couple of weeks ago, where it managed to physically trip me, which took a while to heal from. The thing is I usually get a major attack in december or january. So I know to watch out for it. It’s like they have a circuit or something. Would you consider that off-topic? Even days later? Or relating such an event in keeping with the general concerns of the blog?
