8.9 Earthquake = Birth Pangs = Wake Up!

I awakened this morning to see pictures of the devastating tsunami that hit the Japanese coast after a powerful 8.9 earthquake shook the earth. What is important for us to grasp – in spite of what those who would tell us differently – is that these quakes are increasing in magnitude and frequency, just like the birth-pangs of a woman in labor. It’s also important to note that these natural disasters are happening all over the earth. We see floods, earthquakes, fires, droughts, fish-die-offs, Cat:5 Cyclones, and wars and rumors of wars. At some moment in time these disasters add up to what I would call a tipping point. In other words we will not have enough resources and manpower to rescue everyone and come to the aid of those who are in harm’s way. We know that food prices are increasing as the weather, and natural disasters have impacted the harvest of crops. It’s not going away is it?
For those of us who are filled with the spirit of the living God and are aware of the prophecies that warn us of what I believe is the times we are living in, we should be looking up, knowing that these are the birth pangs, that they are the signs of His second coming, or our blessed hope. We also need to pray for those in Japan who have lost loved ones and have been impacted by the earthquake.
In closing todays post: We are warned of the days that we are living in. We were told thousands of years ago what would be the sings of the last days. How many people believe it? The News outlets won’t touch the prophetic paradigm with a 50 foot pole. It’s big news to them, when a disaster like the one they are covering today occurs, but they won’t tell you what is really happening, they won’t weigh in from a Biblical world-view because it’s politically incorrect to do so. Wake up folks! Wake up and open your eyes to what I believe are the birth-pangs. Wake up because we are entering the most troublesome times in human history. The great deception is coming. The Fallen One will be cast down to earth and when that happens we are told: woe to the inhabitants of earth…
In the end, the King will return. He will wipe away every tear. He will heal the nations. He will set things right. He will reign in Jerusalem. It’s not a bed time story or a fantasy, it is what I call super-reality. He is coming….

So… I saw on Fox that the earth moved 10 inches off its axis… (I wonder if that is in addition to the New Zealand ones)… and they said its changing the speed of our days… which made me think of Matthew 24;22 “unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened.” :-O

It seems strange how it appears these sensed something for sure. It is amazing about animals of how they do these sort of things before a terrible disaster. It has happened before with different species.

I’ve wondered what initiates the events of Revelation 12. The overwhelming of emergency response systems means 2 things. Victims will seek help from Heaven and the world will try to ration help out using the 666 system. The Kingdom of Heaven comes into direct conflict with the kingdoms of the damned. And the damned will try to swallow up the Kingdom of God that comes to light on earth born out of travail, which is Heaven made manifest in those rescued. And now we see that the largest earthquake can trigger failure and meltdown of many reactors, which easily fits the other events in the Revelation.
