Why are the nations of the world in turmoil?  What is happening with the sun and the moon? Why is it that birds are dropping out of the air dead, and why have fish numbering into the millions suddenly died without explanation?  Why are there sinkholes of gigantic proportions appearing all over the earth, and what is happening with volcanic eruptions in Japan, Italy and Iceland? And what about the UFO seen over the Temple Mount? Something has changed, and Watchers 2 will try and investigate if what ancient texts have said for millenniums are true — that we are entering a period where there will be wars, earthquakes, and famines — including signs in the skies and the heavens. L.A. Marzulli will comment as well as interview experts on this volume. Including: Chuck Missler, Rabbi Aaron Parry, Stan Deyo and Jim Wilhelmsen and Helena Lehman. One of the very best responses to the question of whether a sincere homosexual can be a Christian.

Thanks- this is going to be one of the top subjects of our day & the question of us is whether we have enough scriptural knowledge & boldness to defend the faith?

I’ve never seen so much scripture twisting to attempt to wiggle around the truth in the Bible about this particular subject.

The main excuses I’ve come across are:”God is Love”, “Christians are filled with hate”, “There is no condemnation in Jesus”.

We live in an evil & perverse generation so don’t cower to appease man. We are called to be light & proclaim the truth of God & His Word.

They don’t want to hear the light because their deeds are evil & they want to remain “as is” in their sin. Some are very proficient @ twisting scripture & those that don’t know the Bible will remain comfortable w/false knowledge & believe what these twisters say is how God really is & thinks.

For people who don’t know much of the Word it’s really a confusing subject to think though.

If we who know better don’t speak up & proclaim the Biblical truth then no-one will hear it anymore. People are being bombarded by the secular media w/this junk. Oprah’s upcoming show is interviewing gay “Christians”.

Prepare to be seen as one with two heads and flippers – a monster.

    • Late Night Lisa said

Yep- that’s right! That’s why they crucified Christ as well.

    • Rose from Kentucky said

      Lisa,
I believe this is also laying the foundation of another deception. Questioning one’s sexuality is only a stone’s throw away from questioning one’s humanity – I think we will see nephilic “Christians” trotted out someday on Oprah. These will be people who have been converted to Christianity who believe they have nephilic DNA (although it will probably remain unproven). These people will not be true nephilim, but the effect will be to convince those of a Christian frame of mind that taking an antivirus, or some sort of serum or chip that will make them something other than human, does not interfere with one’s relationship to God.
This antivirus or chip or whatever will promise greater health, longer life, and more brainpower, but will make the receiver not completely human anymore. I think this will be the mark, and that is why there’s no going back from it.
Only 100 percent humans can receive salvation.
Remember what decided in God’s mind that He had to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah – it wasn’t the homosexuality – it was the desire to mix with nonhuman entities. But the homosexuality opened the door. If one is willing to subvert the order of nature to have sex with the same gender, why not with another another creature from a different dimension?

    • Rhema said

Whoa! Rose, I never thought about God’s having destroyed Sodom & Gomorrah because of mixing w/ nonhuman entities! I know there was mention of strange flesh and that homosexuality was rampant but the impact just hit me after I read your post. They wanted the angels that were staying with Lot so they must’ve known the angels were “strange flesh” tho not in the way the nephilim were. The rest of your post makes perfect sense as well. OMG.

    • Rhema said

I was channel surfing after I got home fm church last night and happened upon “Glee”. I watched a snippet where one high school girl confesses, teary eyed, to another high school girl that she is in love with her. I could not believe it. I couldn’t watch any more. I can’t believe this stuff is on tv.

    • Rose from Kentucky said

      Rhema,
There’s another aspect to this: if satan can get people to give up their humanity, much like Esau gave up his inheritance for some stew, satan will have completely usurped control over this planet. Humans have two defenses against the evil one. The first and best is a relationship with God, but the second is also powerful and it belongs to every human no matter his belief system: the authority of dominion.
God gave Adam dominion over the earth in the garden and He never took it back. If humankind gives this up, satan will have dominion. He will have won.
      GAME OVER

    • Late Night Lisa said

I agree Rose, that we may get that far down the rabbit trail w/this DNA stuff. However, I haven’t thought it all the way thought to witnessing “Christians” speaking in acceptance of doing such a thing to God’s original creation of the human body. From the apostasy we’re seeing now I guess that’s not really such a stretch after all!

    • Rose from Kentucky said

I find it compelling that of all the young stars in the business, Katy Perry is the one to sing Futuristic Lover, or the E.T. song. Why? I believe it is because she used to be a Christian. It is a slap in the face of her Creator – satan loves to do this. It will also be very useful in the future if she holds onto this mindset, yet cleans up her act a bit so she’ll seem “Christianized.”
Also, Lady Gaga’s video “Born this Way” is about more than homosexuality. It’s about a new kind of human – one with horns!
Acceptance of homosexuality is the final doorway in a long line of doorways in the re-acceptance of the “gods” who once came to earth. It signals the reappearance and rebirth of the fallen angels and the nephilim. It also means God’s wrath is very, very near – like in the days of Sodom and Gomorrah.

    • Mrs M said

I just watched a video w/ new ager Barbara Marx Hubbard, and she is saying the exact thing Gaga is: a new race of humanity is being born. Here’s a link if you can stand watching it: (she reminds me of cruela deville)

    • Mrs M said

oops! wrong link, that was also in the email, sorry. I think Margaret might like that one though!

    • Kimberly said

Did you guys see the video where Katy Perry is doing a cover of Lady Gaaags “Born This Way?” …. Birds of a feather flock together.

    • Captain Eagle said

The saddest thing is Katy Perry began as a Christian artist. It’s so sad to see someone go from there annd fall so far away like that.

I knew she had a lot in common with Gaga but I’ve never seen either perform before to be honest.

    • Matt said

Captain Eagle, there have been many artist that are supposedly “Christian” artist to later turn their backs on the Lord. The band Evanescence is one of them. Once they get fame and fortune plus their handlers whispering in their ears, it’s all over. It’s like the how the Lord was tempted by Satan, only difference is these artists took the bait.
It’s almost as if some of these artiest market themselves as Christian artist just in case they don’t quite make the cut in the very competitive secular market, but once they do, and get radio play and perform to full houses all bets are off. The sad thing is they deny Christ all together, turning their backs on him.
I saw Amy Grant years ago in her Christian hey day… (free ticket),,,,I remember getting there when the band was setting up, I witnessed them ,( roadies and management ) for Grant, smoking, drinking and cussing,,,and this was in full view of all who were there including children, they really couldn’t care less who was watching. I was amazed she would have anyone on staff that blatantly did this openly for all to see and hear.
I’ve gone back stage to meet Third Day and there was none of this going on.These guys were on fire for the Lord, it was not an act to sell cd’s.
Grant showed her true colors a few years later, not to my surprise.

    • LauraR said

Excellent video Rose, it is a conondrum. I don’t understand why people are that way. I think if you say you are a Christian and practice homosexuality, it is wrong and the bible calls it an abomination. I have often wondered if people who say they are born that way, could it be they are possessed by a spirit ? Generational perhaps. I have dealt with gay people, at every turn you notice how much drama they create in their lives. One lesbian, I worked with, as soon as she found out I was a Christian she wanted to get in a full blown debate at work on what the bible says. Knowing this person and how she was I told her to google it. She never liked me very much after that.

    • Jacqueline said

Laura, someone I love dearly has come to terms with his homosexuality and faced it. He loves God and is very hurting and confused. I have researched much and discovered that homosexuality is a wounded identity. A boy who is/feels rejected by his dad in his formative years, especially sensitive boys, will sometimes fail to detach from mom and identify with dad. He feels different from dad and it continues developmentally until he feels totally other from regular guys. That’s why he hangs out with girls and acts like a girl. But he craves masculine acceptance and identity, and his intense desire for maleness becomes eroticized because it’s guys that are mysterious and unattainable, not girls. And he feels he was born this way because all he has ever known is feeling un-manly, if you will. Please pray for workers, healing and deliverance in this area. We know the One who can heal these precious souls.

    • Excellent answer and 100% in agreement. My views are parallel to this, as I expressed in #18 on yesterday’s thread. That having the disposition towards homosexuality does not disqualify you as being a Christian, but you must avoid acting on that disposition at all costs to be righteous in God’s eyes.

    • Late Night Lisa said

      Exactly right!

These verses of scripture should give them condemnation I would think if it is possible for them to recognize what sin is.

Ro 1:26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
Ro 1:27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
      Ro 1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

      E. Gibbs.

Isn’t there some talk about the Antichrist being gay?
Maybe this trend is headed toward that somehow.
Especially if Christians become persecuted for so called “hate speech” or somesuch thing.
      Just a thought.

    • Late Night Lisa said

This is one of those passages I still haven’t drawn a conclusion upon! Is he gay? Doesn’t respect women? Doesn’t like the same god women like? (Similar to when I got stumped w/Eve’s curse and women’s desire for man. It’s this same “desire” word.)

There’s something going on here w/translation. At the time it could have referred to an idol such as Venus or perhaps in our day if the Marian Appariation comes to a forefront it could refer to the Catholics/Islam & Mary.

      http://bible.cc/daniel/11-37.htm

      Daniel 11:37

      AKJV
Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.

      NLT
He will have no respect for the gods of his ancestors, or for the god loved by women, or for any other god, for he will boast that he is greater than them all.(Hugh? the god loved by women?)

      Barnes notes of the Bible:

Nor the desire of women – The phrase “the desire of women” is in itself ambiguous, and may either mean what they desire, that is, what is agreeable to them, or what they commonly seek, and for which they would plead; or it may mean his own desire – that is, that he would not be restrained by the desire of women, by any regard for women, for honorable matrimony, or by irregular passion. The phrase here is probably to be taken in the former sense, as this best suits the connection. There has been great variety in the interpretation of this expression. Some have maintained that it cannot be applicable to Antiochus at all, since he was a man eminently licentious and under the influence of abandoned women. Jerome, in loc., John D. Michaelis, Dereser, Gesenius, and Lengerke suppose that this means that he would not regard the beautiful statue of the goddess Venus whose temple was in Elymais, which he plundered.

Keil and Delitzsch Biblical Commentary on the Old Testament

The words which follow, נשׁים על־חמדּת, the old interpreters understood of the love of women, or of conjugal love; the modern, after the example of J. D. Michaelis and Gesenius, on the contrary, understand them of the goddess Anatis or Mylitta, the Assyrian Venus, and refer them specially to the spoiling of the temple of this goddess in Elymas (1 Macc. 6:1, cf. 2 Macc. 1:13). Ewald finally would understand by the expression “the desire of women,” the Syrian deity Tammuz-Adonis. The connection requires us to think on a deity, because these words are placed between two expressions which refer to the gods. But the connection is not altogether decisive; rather the כּל על in the clause at the end of the verse denotes that the subject spoken of is not merely the king’s raising himself above the gods, but also above other objects of pious veneration. A verbal proof that נשׁים חמדּת denotes the Anatis or Adonis as the favourite deity of women has not been adduced. For these words, desiderium mulierum, denote not that which women desire, but that which women possess which is desirable; cf. under 1 Samuel 9:20. But it is impossible that this can be Anatis or Adonis, but it is a possession or precious treasure of women. This desirable possession of women is without doubt love; so that, as C. B. Michaelis has remarked, the expression is not materially different from נשׁים אהבת, the love of women, 2 Samuel 1:26. The thought: “he shall not regard the desire of women, or the love of women,” agrees perfectly with the connection. After it has been said in the first clause: he shall set himself free from all religious reverence transmitted from his fathers, from all piety toward the gods in which he had been trained, it is then added in the second clause: not merely so, but generally from all piety toward men and God, from all the tender affections of the love of men and of God. The “love of women” is named as an example selected from the sphere of human piety, as that affection of human love and attachment for which even the most selfish and most savage of men feel some sensibility. Along with this he shall set himself free from כּל־אלוהּ, from all piety or reverence toward God or toward that which is divine (Klief.). This thought is then established by the last clause: “for he shall magnify himself above all.” To כּל על we may not supply אלוהּ; for this clause not only presents the reason for the foregoing clause, וגו כּל־אלוהּ על, but for both of the foregoing clauses. Hitzig and Kliefoth are right in their interpretation: “above everything, or all, gods and men,” he shall magnify himself, raise himself up in arrogance.

The reason why I don’t buy “peple are born gay” (as some here have stated bother yesterday and today) is this. Why would God decree something is sinful then create people are are prone to behave this way more than others? That would mean God sets up people to sin and/or struggle with it. I do not believe God would ever do that. Also, this is no different than other sins. Is anyone born to cheat on their wife or steal? No. That is not God’s plan or intent. These things are planted out of man’s sinful society and being gay is no different.

Late Night Lisa, I just found something quite interesting, or maybe not? About 30 minutes ago I was going about my business (not on the internet or studding of any kind) and the word Tammuz popped into my mind, at that moment I thought that was strange and wondered why I would think about that? Anyway when I was reading your post now, it mentions Tammuz. I do not know if this is coincidence or what?

The best teaching I have heard about the AC and the “desire of women” Scripture is about it having to do with a tradition regarding a woman hoping (desiring) that she will be chosen (found worthy by YHWH) to be the mother of the coming Messiah.

Hey! Just remember though that I was not attending IHOP but the church I had left modeled themselves after IHOP… but the prophet guy at my old church rubbed elbows quite frequently (more than frequently) with the actual leaders at IHOP… and yes, to gain insight into how these kinds of movements are.. look into that girls testimony I talked about yesterday. … IHOP should always and only be about.. pancakes. :-)

    • Captain Eagle said

Yes, IHOP should only be about pancakes! Ha Ha.

I’m trying to find that girl’s testimony but can’t. Could you please post a link?

I mentioned it here last summer but you may have missed it. When I was a kid we went to a church for 5 years that kept vowing to build a new church building and went on and on about giving more and more. The pastor took the money and that is where Karobics came from. His brother invented it and that money went into making it a national thing. No joke. I’m still surprised this never got in the tabloids.

Yes, uuuggghhhh… they were always about A BUILDING!!! Grr. They would also tell of people’s testimonies of healing and financial prosperity right before service began… and all the testimonies said at that end “and I’m a TITHER” …”God healed me of heart disease, and I’m a tither!” “One day I got a check in the mail for a million bazillion gazillion dollars, and I’m a tither!” “My son came home today and we talked and he accepted the Lord, and I’m a tither.” Catch my drift? Then they would literally spend 30 minutes or longer every service preaching on tithing. It was crazy. Haha.. what is Karobics (it sounds like an exercise activity to get people tithing and in shape while eating Carob chocolate) I’m gonna watch out at the supermarket for a tabloid with that word on there. :-)

You have also described every church experience I had growing up and in every case the pastors stole he money and ran. That’s what’s turned me off to giving to churches. Every church I’ve ever attended in 30 years has had this happen so now I give in other ways or to places where I know where the money is going.

Yes, it’s an exercise activity. There are tons on infomercials on about it. The pastor’s brother developed it and it was a big thing in Hollywood where he was a trainer. I’d better not say more than that in public. lol.

    PERSECUTION
“For when we were with you, we kept telling you beforehand that we were to suffer affliction, just as it has come to pass, and just as you know.” – 1 Thessalonians 3:4 ESV

A court ruling in England last week ruled that a Christian couple was ineligible to adopt because they have religious and moral opposition to homosexuality. For the courts in England, moral opposition to homosexuality is now considered an extremist position. The implications of this ruling has tremendous consequences. Most blatantly, against the claim of homosexual activists that they have no intention of eroding religious liberty, it’s apparent that the ruling in England proves that in the face of mounting cultural pressure, religious liberties are yielding to the gay rights movement. Christians in America ought to remain vigilant on this ruling and continue to stand for religious freedom.

Father, we pray for the couple in England denied justice for their belief in your Word. We pray that you would change the hearts of the judge and reverse this ruling. We also pray that you would show England the error of its ways and its abandonment of its cultural heritage. Father, help us to be joyful in in the face of persecution and follow your will in all obedience. This we pray in Jesus’ name, Amen.

Laura you are in my thoughts and prayers.I have worked in nursing homes before and some really strange things do go on it seems that spirits are allowed much more control in these places.I wanted to share something my husband told me last night as we were watching v out of no where he said he was woke up at about three the other morning and he was casting out demons over our area(pricipalities ) and ask God to send the angels assigned to our area to remove them well about that time he said he looked at the end of our bed and standing by my computor by the wall was a tall 8ft white hairy monster looking thing with wings looking at him very angry and he told it to leave so it did .He is not afraid of anything and he told me Margaret you are going to have to get use to this happening because he thought we are going to see more of this type of thing (I was asleep thank God).I say all that to say maybe God has you there for a reason i dont blame you for being timid but as far as these spirits and demons go we are going to be pushed into confronting them.i for one am not looking forward to what is ahead,it is going to be just like before the flood most of the people in the old testement had to deal with them, wait on the power of God I believe he is going to show you something awsome. Also you may try taking some olive oil with you and when you get the chance anoint the windows and doors and what ever else you can think of that the spirit leads you. Satan knows that he has but a short time, so the forces of spiritual wickedness are being unleashed upon the earth in a way like never before, and it will build until the return of Jesus Christ.

I regret to say this, but it should be obvious to anyone looking around. We in this civilization will be receiving judgement in the near future. It is one thing to practice an abomination and repent of it.
It is a different matter to declare it as right and shake a fist at the God of Heaven.
    Look out, America.

You have my prayers, Laura. I pray for you daily. Keep in mind that you are growing by leaps and bounds. Satan is attacking you because of this – I know you’d rather not have this as a sign, but it’s actually a good one. Lean into it – put on your armor every morning. Recite scripture and stand your ground.
Satan will flee from you. You are a soldier in a fire fight.

Thankyou Rose, you as well are in mine daily, that was an awesome answer and forgot about that side of it too. It reminds me of something Late Night Lisa said about because we are believers we get it worse. Those words have also never rung so true.

Does anyone have experience and or thoughts on “small groups” (under the guise of various names) that are coming out of corporate church bodies these days? Home Bible study groups are of course very important and should always be under direction of YHWH’s Holy Spirit. I have deep concerns arising however from leaders/facilitators being compelled by legal mandates to sign away on all kinds of paperwork before being ALLOWED (!) to begin participating. Then group contracts (“covenants”) are passed around for commitment signatures etc. And there’s also more than enough play-by-play techniques to follow, emphasized in reams of other paperwork. Before one knows it the Holy Spirit has just become a bit player in the service of corporate body Christianity. Seemingly a simple Bible study group has just become a “purpose driven” group dialectic. Thanks in advance for your insights and knowledge.

    • LauraR said

Moment, I have not had the displeasure of that, but does the word RUN come into your mind?

    • Rose from Kentucky said

It wouldn’t surprise me if that paperwork made it’s way to Homeland Security somehow… I’d be very wary. Remember, according to MIAC reports, Christians are terrorists (as are Constitutionalists, veterans, Ron Paul supporters, pro-lifers, etc.).

    • Cindy said

      In a Moment,

Your discernment on the kind of “small groups” described is spot on! It is a taught technique to trap the sheep.
There is an excellent video and written documentation by Dr. Robert Klenck called “What’s Wrong with the 21st Century Church”

      http://www.crossroad.to/News/Church/Klenck1.html

Here is quote from his article:
When the Word of God is dialogued between believers and unbelievers, and consensus is reached – agreement that all are comfortable with – then the message of the Word of God has been watered down, and the participants have been conditioned to accept (and even celebrate) their compromise. This becomes the starting point for the next meeting. The fear of alienation from the group is the pressure that prevents an individual from standing firm for the truth of the Word of God. (The fear of man overrules the fear of God)

Berit Kjos, also a Christian, has warned about this technique: “Small groups and the Dialectic Process” by Berit Kjos http://www.crossroad.to/articles2/04/3-purpose.htm

THE Christian expert on this process is Dean Gotcher. Dr. Klenck was alerted when he heard Mr. Gotcher speaking on the subject. He is at: http://www.authorityresearch.com.

God gave you the concern about this small group process to aid in your escape from the snare set. I am so encouraged that you knew it when you saw it.

Laura R said it so well, RUN

Thank you all so much for your input. I truly value each and every word you shared. Taken together this is great confirmation for me; now I understand why sadness and oppression has lain upon me so heavily in the last few weeks. Run I shall, Rose. And Cindy, the links you have provided are absolutely profound– I’ll be wearing out my printer for awhile! LNL, how did your church-extended “small group” get up and running? Bottom line, I as “leader” have a serious decision to make. ASAP.

    • Late Night Lisa said

I’m not a leader but I do believe they offer leader training & have a meeting once in awhile. Ill inquire w/my leader & see if there is any more to it. We are free to choose the topic & study material.

Our church supplies the studies on a thematic basis. Each theme has duration of one year, with coverage through a four year mark. We are to follow the theme and allow weekly discussion based on historical context, personal, and group meaning drawn from the Scriptures. Becoming a “leader” meant signing away all kinds of personal information… similar to a background check! I will admit that I was floored and so was my friend who went along. Upon questioning this, we were told it has to do with church “insurance policies”. Whatever that really means is beyond me. Red flags went up for sure. Hence my coming forward for some help here. Thanks for checking into this Lisa! Blessings.

  9. I have a strange story that I thought I’d share. A friend of mine back in Memphis (my sister’s boyfriend) and his family witnessed a UFO sighting. I’m in college at UT Martin so I wasn’t there, as I’m not in Memphis as often as I used to be, but he described it to me as being at first far away and just like a pulsating orb of light with small lights around it. But, as it got closer, he said that a triangular-shaped craft appeared with balls of light on it, and smaller balls of light around it.

I found this video from about the same time he saw it. The video was recorded from Jonesboro, so it’s fairly far away looking at Memphis, but I sent him the video via facebook messaging and he said, “That was REALLY close to what i saw. it’s what it looked like from far away. when it got closer though i could make out the triangle outline of the ship.”

It never got close enough to the man in Jonesboro apparently to make out the triangular-shape.

6Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.

      Isaiah 64:6 (King James Version)

6But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

We cannot keep the law in our own strength. Please do not negate the cross or the work of Christ. We must obey the law in spirit and in truth. We can only please God through Jesus and a transformed heart that follows the law by nature. “will-power” cannot save you. FAITH is confidence in HIM. This is what it is to be “born AGAIN”. A cleansed heart does not WANT to sin and doesn’t need to be told by others not to! When you go off in your own strength, you fall away from the only grace that can save you. These homosexual “Christians” are false because they WANT to sin. Don’t be hateful to them or try to argue. It’s between them and their maker…

    • Mark1:17 said

Thank you for adressing that Bon.

But now, by dying to what once bound us, we have been released from the law so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit, and not in the old way of the written code.
What shall we say, then? Is the law sinful? Certainly not! Nevertheless, I would not have known what sin was had it not been for the law. For I would not have known what coveting really was if the law had not said, “You shall not covet.” But sin, seizing the opportunity afforded by the commandment, produced in me every kind of coveting. For apart from the law, sin was dead. Once I was alive apart from the law; but when the commandment came, sin sprang to life and I died. I found that the very commandment that was intended to bring life actually brought death. For sin, seizing the opportunity afforded by the commandment, deceived me, and through the commandment put me to death. So then, the law is holy, and the commandment is holy, righteous and good. Did that which is good, then, become death to me? By no means! Nevertheless, in order that sin might be recognized as sin, it used what is good to bring about my death, so that through the commandment sin might become utterly sinful.

We know that the law is spiritual; but I am unspiritual, sold as a slave to sin. I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. For I know that good itself does not dwell in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do—this I keep on doing. 20 Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.

So I find this law at work: Although I want to do good, evil is right there with me. For in my inner being I delight in God’s law; but I see another law at work in me, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within me. What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to death? Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself in my mind am a slave to God’s law, but in my sinful nature a slave to the law of sin.

Romans 8:3 For what the law was powerless to do because it was weakened by the flesh, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh to be a sin offering.

This is off topic but I found this to be a great read. – –

Malachi 3:3 says: ‘He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver.’
This verse puzzled some women in a Bible study and they wondered what this statement meant about the character and nature of God ..
One of the women offered to find out the process of refining silver and get back to the group at their next Bible Study.

That week, the woman called a silversmith and made an appointment to watch him at work. She didn’t mention anything about the reason for her interest beyond her curiosity about the process of refining Silver.

As she watched the silversmith, he held a piece of silver over the fire and let it heat up. He explained that in refining silver, one needed to hold the silver in the middle of the fire where the flames were hottest as to burn away all the impurities.

The woman thought about God holding us in such a hot spot; then she thought again about the verse that says: ‘ He sits as a refiner and purifier of silver.’
She asked the silversmith if it was true that he had to sit there in front of the fire the whole time.

The man answered that yes, he not only had to sit there holding the silver, but he had to keep his eyes on the silver the entire time it was in the fire. If the silver was left a moment too long in the flames, it would be destroyed.

The woman was silent for a moment. Then she asked the silversmith, ‘How do you know when the silver is fully refined?’

He smiled at her and answered, ‘ Oh, that’s easy — when I see my image in it.’

If today you are feeling the heat of the fire , remember that God has his eye on you and will keep watching you until He sees His image in you.

Pass this on right now. This very moment, someone needs to know that God is watching over them.
And, whatever they’re going through, they’ll be a better person in the end.

‘ Life is a coin. You can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.’

Thank you God, for teaching me to laugh again……
but please Lord, don’t ever let me forget that I cried.

    E. Gibbs.

I read L.A.’s posting on March 8th mentioning Charlie Sheen. I think it’s so easy to kick a guy when he’s down, at least that’s what I glean when I read his posting, calling Charlie Sheen a clown. Now, don’t get me wrong, I think Charlie has some issues, but he’s done something that few stars do until after their “fired” in the court of mainstream media. I listened to an interview with the guy on Alex Jones’s show. I think Charlie is brave. For one he’s a popular person who has questioned the official story of 9/11, and most importantly, he’s taken responsibility for the choices of his life. He broke ties with AA, mentioned that AA was a cult and that it only has a 5% success rate. He spoke a truth -that he wanted to do the drugs, and that drug addiction is not a disease; it’s a choice. Maybe what we’re witnessing is Charlie going through withdrawal, I can only hope if he turned his life to Christ, how much more of an abundant life that he may live.

Speaking of Christ, I think of L.A’s story and others describing when they were saved. I was saved at the age of 8. I noticed after I got saved, I seemed to get into trouble more with my parents and other forms of authority, being a Christian at that point seemed a burden. The weight and fear of damnation to hell went away, but it was replaced with a yoke unknown. I went through various phases of my life sometimes wondering what was so great about being a Christian, full of so many doubts, even asking God to go away using profanity… any way is there anybody out there that had similar experiences when they got saved at a young age?

Anyway, I don’t want anyone to misconstrue that I’m attacking L.A. for his thoughts on how the media reacts, when he and many of us sense there is something going on in this world that’s intangible at this moment. However, I’d be cautious calling Charlie Sheen a clown. Moreover, it’s nice to find a community that isn’t religious. Thanks L.A. and friends.

Thank you all so much for your prayers. I feel the need to explain. I hope you all will bear with me.I am as some of you know bi-polar. Years ago I quit taking any meds for it because they just made me numb and I decided it was better to be angry than numb.Long before I was saved I had found that marijuana was helpful in maintaining an even keel, not to up and not to down. So for years that was my medicine.A little short of a month ago the Lord impressed upon me that it was time to quit. So I did and the long term effects were wearing off and I was headed into a dark depression. When I get full into this stage I get very hateful towards the whole world as well as myself to the point where it gets overwhelming.!I was led to post for prayers here as well as a couple other places.Praise God -what can last for weeks or months has passed in a short time. I know this is because of your prayers. When I get this way I feel so unworthy I can not bring myself to even talk to God so thanks so much.I know satan or his minions were trying hard to keep me in this state because it took 5 times before I could even get my request to post. But I kept getting told to try again!! I have to admit(and I feel bad even saying so)that when He told me to quit I had major misgivings and could not see how I could handle the darkness in my head and yet stay with Christ but the message was so clear there was no denying it so I did. I feel ashamed for not having enough faith to see that He had a plan already to deal with it. Thank you for being part of that plan and helping get me through it.And for some very sage advice from some of you as well. This is indeed a Spirit filled place with God’s true people.I hope to not need this intervention again but fear that I will so please stay ready. You guys are awesome, not as awesome as God but awesome!! I wonder at times if this is not a generational curse it certainly does run throughout the family. I have a lot of ancestors who were shamans and the like and still have some in the family.I am looking into some of Richard Grund’s work to try and break this cycle. In any case doing 100% better now .Thanks and please try not to hold the fact that I was a pothead against me. I have been condemned for that enough. Also sorry for the short terse message yesterday but that was all I could get out.

Praise God. I will continue to keep you in my prayers. What a blessing it is to hear that you are doing better. Continue to seek him! Glory to God.

    • Randy, I am glad to hear that kind words from the prayer warriors here provided some peace. And I would not judge you for the trappings of a drug, I have used alcohol in the past to “self-medicate” myself for things that were happening in my life.

Forgive me if take this opportunity to ask for help myself, but you have inspired me to open up with a similar situation and I see some danger ahead for me. I could use your prayers in kind :-)

You see, I have been told by my therapist (my family insisted I go since I told everyone God was talking to me) that I have anxiety disorders and therefore I am obsessive compulsive about end times prophecies. I am now taking clonasapam for anxiety and prozaic for depression/obsessions. Well I have felt really good with the clonasapam, for it is a sedative that calms my nerves. It hasn’t altered my mind at all and I am even more focused on the positive aspects of Jesus’s promise, rather than freaking out about end times prophecies.

But an interesting thing happened last week. I had a snaffu with my pharmacist about getting a refill (I don’t think this was an accident) and I had to go 4 days with going from daily pills to none. WOW! There is a real danger here, because I was literally climbing out of my skin. I felt like Charlie Sheen looks and that is no lie.

I believe God revealed to me that I am addicted to this stuff by showing withdrawal symptoms of it. I now need to work on tapering this back and instead trust in Jesus for my peace (not some pill). I will need lots of prayer and this scares me a lot that my body could demand such an artificial product that when removed makes me a basket case. Please pray for strength and faith to lean upon the Lord when fear and anxieties grip me. Thank you.

Hopeful I will be praying for you i was on clonazepam for 10 years and it is not an easy thing to detox from.I have been off of it for two years and it is getting better. The Lord has put me in a place to make me totally dependent on him.It is impossible for me without him.The thought of not being able to get it in the end times and having to go through coming off of it scares me to death. Not to mention bowing down to satan and his system for a pill to calm my nerves. No i believe i prefer a dose of Jesus thank you.

Randy, I will keep you in my prayers that God will perform a totally healing upon you. From what I understand about bi-polar, there is a great deal of scientific evidence that indicates a chemical imbalance in the brain. I pray the Lord heals you totally and fully so that you can live a peaceful and full life without depression.

Survey finds young adults don’t see parenthood as linked to marriage

The Pew Research Center released a survey today that shows young adults between the ages of 18 and 29 are less likely than previous generations to see parenthood and marriage as connected.

In the nationwide survey, 52 percent of 18- to 29-year-olds, known as the Millennial generation, say being a good parent is one of the most important things in life while just 30 percent say a good marriage is one.

Compared to older generations, Millennials are also less likely to believe that marriage is a necessary precursor to parenthood.

About 34 percent of this generation think unmarried couples raising kids is bad while 45 percent of those aged 30 and older say the same thing. However, 63 percent of Millennials think single motherhood is bad for society. That number jumps to 71 percent for adults over age 30. Also, nearly half of all Millennials see marriage as becoming obsolete.

Should we expect anything less in our era of filthy garbage on TV, tabloids, and newsprint that extol immoral virtues? You can’t mention God in school or on public property without the ACLU destroying the fabric of our society, so kids growing up to be adults think perversion and lack of responsibility are normal.

Group petitions ABC to drop production of ‘Good Christian B-tches pilot

ABC sparked outrage when they announced they were developing a pilot based on Kim Gatlin’s book, “Good Christian Bitches.”

Following last week’s FOX411 report, the American Family Association started a petition calling on “ABC and parent company Disney to drop all plans to air the anti-Christian program ‘Good Christian B-tches.’”

ABC has since changed the working title to “GCB,” but the AFA is undaunted.

“Our boycott has really resonated with television viewers – especially the Christian community – who are shocked and appalled that ABC/Disney would even consider airing such a program with anti-Christian content, anti-Christian bigotry and the insulting of the American Christian with this type of show,” Randy Sharp, director of special projects for the American Family Association, told FOX411. “The name of the show is offensive to Christians, it’s insulting and demeaning, and it’s misrepresentative of the Christian community–not just that, I think it’s insulting to all women.”

The petition is at 120,000 signatures and growing.

“As more and more people find out about it, they want to take action and speak out,” Sharp explained. “And this is one way they can make their voices heard with the executives at ABC.”

The dramedy will be brought to life by “Sex and the City” and “90210” executive producer Darren Star. The plot centers on the life of reformed “mean girl” Amanda, played by “Talladega Nights” actress Leslie Bibb, who returns to her hometown of Dallas to find herself fodder for malicious gossip from the women in the Christian community.

While the title of the show may have been abbreviated, the gravity of insult has not, according to Sharp.

“I’m going to speak personally,” Sharp said. “Anyone would who would refer to my wife or my daughters as a ‘B,’ it would make me extremely angry and I think it’s insulting in general for ABC to think that this is an appropriate word to use for females.”

To me, few companies have demonstrated as much of a callous disregard towards the concerns of Christians as Disney has. With their blatant promotion of the homosexual lifestyle, the violence and sex in their movies, and a variety of other anti-Christian themes, Disney ranks as one of the worst anti-Christian companies today….. It didn’t used to be this way. I suspect if he were alive today, ole Walt would be horrified to see what the current management of Disney has done to his once family friendly company. In spite of the fact that many national Christian organizations have chosen to boycott Disney, they persist in this behavior. They get away with it because too many Christians are still patronizing them. I urge all Christian brothers and sisters to boycott Disney until all of their anti-Christian activities have ceased. I’m really tired of the insults and put downs from Disney Co. to the Christian community…

    • Rose from Kentucky said

I am very happy to hear that there is an organized outcry against this. I don’t think Disney has ever truly been a friend to Christianity.

    • Captain Eagle said

Funny you’ve mentioned that. I was watching some WWII cartoons today and all through them Disney put in Jesus images. It tells you what tat meant to the masses in the 1940’s.

While I feel modern Disney is hostile to Christianity I don’t feel that way about the original Disney. While they never really did anything outright Christian they didn’t do anything that was any other religion either. Nor did they attack Christianity either.

What you have with this show is some liberal fruitcake thought it would be provacative to mock the Christians hence the show. This happens every few years but by far the worst was that Noah’s Ark mini series with John Voight that NBC did in the late 90’s. I was rolling on the floor laughing when pirates attacked Noah’s Ark!!!

    • Matt said

I tell you what was funny, John Voight playing the roll of Howard Cosell in a film which he made in 2001. . That’s like having Charles Bronson play an American Indian…oh wait he did, Bronson played Hondo an Indian scout helping to catch renegade Apache Burt Lancaster in the 1954 film Apache. Now there is good casting if I ever saw it.

  22. Wow, this was a bit of a clash of paradigms but a very good discussion. Maybe Giorgio was listening to this and learned his lesson about censorship…yeah, doubt that.
    Good show though! God bless!

UFOs and the National Security State – Richard Dolan

    • Rose from Kentucky said

About 45 minutes into this program, Dolan shows a clip from the space station in which a seeming craft shows up and moves across the screen. Then there is a flash much like the flash we saw in the UFO footage over Jerusalem. What seems like some sort of energy beam shoots toward the craft, and the craft reacts by swiftly moving in a 90 degree angle away from the beam.
I have been searching for the significance of the flash of light we all saw in the Dome of the Rock footage – I think this is a good clue as to what it was. Some sort of weapon.

      Great program, Gordy. Thank you

    • Not to be paranoid, but does anyone get the feeling that watching these kinds of videos and posting to these kinds of websites, puts you on some kind of watch list? Well if it does, so be it. I want truth and I want Jesus.

    • Rose from Kentucky said

We are on Christ’s watch list. Everywhere we go, the Spirit that helped create the universe goes with us. Don’t fear what anyone can do to you. An army of angels goes before and after you.
Let the “watchers” take note, and fear.

    • Excellent video. Watched the whole thing. I like his curious mind and he asked the tough questions. However, he lost me at the very end, the last 1/4 of the video. He touched it a couple of times, but he really skirted any tough questions regarding the spiritual nature of this phenomenon, which I found frustrating since he was so courageous about facing a beings with higher intelligence, why not ask the tough questions about how God and spirituality (yes even demons) might play in these scenarios. And his solutions for our future totally merged hooked line and sinker with what I believe the globalists desire anyway. He seems to want to get out in front of creating a global awareness, but that seems impossible given the secretive nature of the information to begin with. In other words, he is skeptical that alien life forms have our best interest in mind, he is aware that our nations might be using these technologies in a clandestine manner and at the same time completely willing to give our governments the benefit of the doubt to bring about global awareness and governance for the good of the people. This seems naive to me, after he spent the whole first portion being extremely pragmatic about the state we are in.

    • Rose from Kentucky said

Dolan is a good researcher – he is fair and honest, but he is handicapped by the fact that he follows the evidence and the evidence only. The evidence is ambiguous; as L.A. points out, horrific things happen with these entities and phenomena. However, sometimes good things, helpful and healing things happen, and there’s always the hope of new technologies that can solve pressing problems.
In order for him to fully understand the entire paradigm, he would have to commit to the Judeo/Christian worldview. Only this worldview explains how something that appears as an angel of light can be so devastatingly evil.
He is crippled by his materialistic worldview.
