Libya is in a state of upheaval as is Yemen, Bahrain, Tunisia, and Egypt, as the people in those countries are demonstrating and bucking the status quo. The result of this is a spike in oil, as it is now over $100 a barrel and who knows where it will top out at. Several weeks ago millions of Egyptians met in Tarrir square and chanted in unison, to Jerusalem we go, martyrs in the millions – this was Vetted by author Walid Shoebat as he spoke in Albuquerque the week before the conference that I attended. The lame stream media ignored this and didn’t utter a peep about it.
When the female reporter was gang raped by Egyptian Moslem men, they shouted Jew, Jew, Jew, as they raped her and the men and women of our press made sure you didn’t hear about it, with the exception of Glen Beck. The UN has issued food shortages warnings, but I guess we don’t need to know about them as we are in the land of plenty – heck we have COSCO where the shelves are always full to the ceiling, and the trucks roll endlessly on asphalt highways, bringing us our every desire. Don’t worry – it can’t happen here!
The dollar is on the verge of collapsing and possibly being replaced by another currency, but don’t worry about that folks, as our Federal Reserve – which hijacked our monetary system in 1917 – will just print more funny money and charge us interest on it.
With all of the above mentioned what do the lame stream media news outlets lead with today …. You guessed it Charlie Sheen! Yes, let them eat cake and let the circus begin! Keep us dumbed down and distracted! Don’t pay any attention to that man behind the curtain. Don’t think for a minute to get prepared for what is coming… for what some say is already here! No sir, send in the clowns with the likes of Sheen, Lindsay, Gaga, O.J., Brittany, oh and I almost forgot, Amber Frye is back on the talk show circuit! Let’s watch them dance and sing and take our Prosaic.
Enough of the absurdity, I say!
One thing I took away from the conference in Albuquerque was that most of the 300+ people in attendance were not asleep. They know what is coming, they can read the signs and they are stockpiling food and water. They are aware that when the catastrophe happens it’s to late, as was so keenly demonstrated when Katrina hit, or the Gulf Oil spill happened.
In closing todays post: I believe that the media is controlled, as objective journalism is for all purposes dead. Just ask yourself this, with all that is going on in the world why is that the major networks lead with the exactly the same news story every night? Americans, for the most part are asleep… as we know more about the antics of Sheen, Lyndsay and all the rest of the clowns instead of the haunting chant of 2 million people who say: To Jerusalem we go, martyrs in the millions….

Last week at dinner my husband and I ran into a former pastor and his wife. He told my husband that he wished he had listened to him: wished he had put everything he had in silver (when we were talking to him last year the price of silver was about $17 an ounce. Today it is hovering around $37 and will keep going up.)
Thankfully, he did start putting food away. I hope he’s starting to talk to his congregation about it also.
Regret is a foretaste of hell.

I believe that another reason why the repoter’s rape wasn’t covered nor the exiled Imam returning to Egypt to lead that chant is because the media (and the left) HATES Israel. I’ll never get over how most Jews I meet vote democrat when the democrats are no friend to them. One of my Jewish friends told me the same happened with Hitler. He reached out to the Jews to get elected and they held rallies and supported him and you know what happened to them later. History is full of examples like this from WWII to Katrina. Yet people are gleefully unaware of these things (Have you ever seen a Jay Leno Jay-Walking segment where he asks folks on the street SIMPLE questions about history and theare clueless and even that are amused by just how stupid they are! Last night I caught it by accident and he had doctored photos and boy were those people dumbed down. Lincoln was President during 1935 and gave the “Freedom Speech” in Paris”, FDR was married to Susan Boyle, the Goodyear Blimp crashed in the 70′s (not the Hindenberg) I just can’t get over how uninformed people are and are content to be that way. And this is simple stuff let alone current events unfolding.) Bt you’re right, they all know about the clowns.

I can’t stand listening to Jay Leno or Conan. My husband enjoys Leno & has plagued me w/it every night for all our years of marriage. (Although I avoid it when possible.)
Recalling the last election it was hard to stomach all the Jews voting for Obama. Most of them are very secular & “progressive” from what I hear. They just didn’t realize what an enemy he was to Israel & their culture. That’s what you get for not doing the background check on those you support.
It was blatantly obvious where Obama’s affections were directed toward & it wasn’t Israel.
This next election the Mormons are reving up as contenders. If that occurs & one gets in I wonder how that will shift the focus of greed, corruption, & direction of U.S. politics?

No, it won’t be good. If possible, convert it to hard assets: silver (take physical possession – no silver certificates!), FOOD AND WATER!!!!, medical supplies, tools and seeds for growing food, fruit trees and perennial plants for food, means to heat/cool your home without electricity, canners and crocks in which to preserve food, BOOKS!!! that teach how to live without modern technology (like herbal medicine)… I think you get the idea.
Anything made of paper is already so devalued as to be worthless – that includes 401k’s, IRAs, bonds, and cash in the bank.
Our currency is failing rapidly.

A certificate is like a receipt that you own silver, but the one who has sold it to you keeps the silver. You need to have the sent to you so it is in your possession.
Much, much more “silver” is being sold than what actually exists. If you buy it, take physical possession.
However, I would recommend you buy food, water, and a means of protection (and ammo) if you haven’t done it yet.

APMEX and Goldline are both reputable (however Goldline is more expensive). However, Steve Quayle also is quite reliable and will help with questions. It sounds scary at first, but it is really quite simple.
Time is of the essence, though. Silver is really running out and will soon skyrocket in price.

Here is my question. When you hoard silver and gold 1.) How are you going to spend it after the dollar fails and 2.) How are you going to keep the government from confiscating it just as they did during the Great Depression? The world is much smaller now so even if you hide it you will be more likely to get caught in the act of spending it. Keeping food, water, seeds, books, etc. makes sense but the Gold and Silver never has to me. As long as you have your food and water what else would you need to buy?

Why is keeping money in a bank “saving”, and keeping precious metals (which are real currency), “hoarding?” Cap’n, your programming has been effective in that area. If you continue in this mindset, you are condeming yourself to slavery.
Gold and silver are real money. Paper is fiat. Converting a failing fiat currency to real value is good stewardship.
The gov’t didn’t confiscate it during the Depression; they called for it to be turned in – some of it was, and some of it wasn’t.
This isn’t the proper venue for this discussion. If you really want these kind of answers, listen to Gerald Celente, and do some research on the Austrian School of Economics (Peter Schiff is also a good source).

I just don’t see how you can spend precious metals if owning them is outlawed.
The thing with gold and silver is I can’t really afford to get any but I’ve started storing some food away.
As for spending it, how can it be done? An ounce of gold for a loaf of bread? I don’t see how that aspect would work. It would be a barter system since no government regulation would be on this but again, who’d have all the resources you’d want to get and want to get the gold in the end? So you’re right back where we are today.
By the way, I don’t usually watch the late night stuff either for the same reason. Last night I didn’t turn the TV off in the other room when I was in here writing and it happened to come on as I was going bye and I watched it in disbelief. I turned it off after Jay Walking.

Also, keep old silver jewelry! Especially old jewelry that has the markings of authentication on it. Old gold, old silver..all worthwhile to have. Especially if they are small pieces:). That’s my opinion.
We used to live in the middle east. I collected bits of gold and silver jewelry while out there, over the years. At one point, I thought about getting rid of it – but not anymore. I’m keeping it all to barter with some day if the need arises and I’m still breathing. Thinking practically – those little silver links in an old necklace will come in handy for a loaf of bread…or tiny links in an old gold necklace for larger purchases.
I bet if you scrap around your house, you’ll discover you have more on hand than perhaps you realised at first.

While I am not sure as to putting things back I can say that being prepared is surely recommended. HOWEVER! Do you not think “THEY” have thought all this through? How will silver and gold serve if your money is on a chip. OR is confiscated like it was in the early 20′s.

I don’t get why blacks vote democrat other than they do not know history. If you look at history it has ALWAYS been the democrats who were for slavery, segregation, etc. In 1875 the democrats even overturned civil rigts! That means all the bad blood played up over the last 100+ years would have NEVER happened.
You will also be shocked to know that the KKK began to lynch Republicans because the freed slaves all voted republican, Lincoln’s party. 1/3 of all the people the KKK lynched were white. You NEVER hear this stuff. Also in LA there were more black people who owned slaves than white slave owners. Did you know there were black slave owners? There were even white slaves all through the south. What we have been taught is a race issue is really a humanity one.
History has all the answers for dealing with the future. It’s just hat people are unaware of it.

My church just showed us the videos of the Jerusalem UFO(real) and the white horse in Egypt(Debunked)..
My sister in law works as the church receptionist and has been telling me that the phones have been ringing off the hook since they showed those videos. she has also told me that there is other videos in the works that have the Alien theme(they are leaving to Israel on the 14th to film)..
Now what i didn’t like was that they showed a debunked video with a real 1, not only that but they are saying that aliens and UFOs(the metal shinny ones)are made up by the government to deceive us.. So their on the right path but i feel that they are still not getting the whole picture.
Are they just jumping on the alien bandwagon.? or is this for real.? i don’t know, but i would like to see if you would like to come speak.. I’m sure your more than willing.. but i just don’t know how to go about the whole thing..

It’s kinda difficult to get the churches to awaken to the reality of what’s going on. I’ve had the same problem in my church tho I don’t at this point speak about these things w/ many of the members since I don’t want to ursurp my pastor’s authority, I haven spoken w/ him privately and he is somewhat aware but hasn’t said anything from the pulpit, yet. I can understand, up to a point, their reticence as it’ll cause a huge stir but still, it has to be done. Too, their ministries could be attacked and/or wiped out. I have informed my sons, one of whom is the youth pastor there, and he has alluded to it in his youth group but he can’t teach it w/out Pastor’s permission and he has yet to receive it. I’ve told him and the pastor that it has to be unveiled so the people aren’t deceived when that day arrives. They will not want blood on their hands. I can feel a beautiful maturing in our pastor – less of him and more of the Holy Spirit – that I know will bear true and beautiful fruit for the Lord. He loves Jesus with his whole heart and I know he will be obedient to tell them when the time is ripe for it. I pray for him frequently and ask the Lord to fill him to overflowing and to move him out of the way of the Spirit. Re the UFOs I’m pretty sure some of them are made by man. The reverse engineering thing.

The Lord may be sending other Pastors seed planters for when the time is right.
He does work in really mysterious ways & it’s hard to figure out ahead of time but we do know Christ is the head of the Church & He will protect it & forewarn of things to come if the Pastor is “connected” w/the Holy Spirit & can “hear” direction.

I like some of the investigative work that Alex Jones does (similar to Glenn Beck), but he is hard to hear for any length of time, because he jumps from one agenda item to the next and undermines his own message.
I do agree that the focus of the Charlie Sheen implosion by the media is a distraction and reinforces our obsession with watching a train wreck. That said, there is something really bizarre with what is happening to this man. Is Sheen an obnoxious ego-maniac who uses drug, is morally bankrupt and prone to hate filled tirades? Yes… but he made some enemies and poked the wrong people in the eye these past few years.
I know this is a conspiracy theory in its own right, but in his partying drug filled escapade, he could of been coaxed and given some laboratory drugs that has changed his whole brain chemistry to de-legitimatize him and have people disregard what he says. This is exactly what is happening to him now. He is viewed as a manic, bipolar crazy, sad to some and a laughing stock to others. Could this be the reality of it? Sure, but it gives me the willies when he has made so many enemies and was in a position to expose deep plots and secrets and now we are watching his implosion on the human level.
Charlie Sheen isn’t the news, but there could be something behind the scenes that is. It just doesn’t pass the sniff test.

I saw that when it was on. I think Alex Jones is a bit of a kook. There may very well be truth in some things he says but he ruins it by accepting ALL conspiracy theories. Sheen is one of these too. He believes George W. Bush did 9/11 as an inside Job. We’ve all see how slow Bush was in speeches. Didn’t he look genuinely surprised when he was alerted to the first tower falling? If it was an inside job it was high above his head. However, I still believe they shot that 4th plane down. I said so on the day of 9/11. I can see why they’d cover that up though.
What do you think Sheen could have exposed, other than his unnamely body parts?
Yes, Sheen may very well be demon possessed. He passed his drug test but was acting VERY odd.

Most of what I’ve seen of Alex Jones has been really good. He does a lot of investigative work and goes off of what is already admitted. Steve Quayle has a lot of classified sources, but a lot what Steve Quayle says seems to mesh at least with what Alex Jones finds.

Beck has always seemed pretty good, but I don’t watch him that much. Sean Hannity I can’t really stand though, as he’s the type that believes “the Republicans can do no wrong.” If the Democrats do something, he’s against it; but if Bush did that same thing, he was all for it.
I don’t like that. I’m fed up with all the political parties, and just want to get back to the Constitution.

I missed the story about Sheen’s videos to Obama but I knew he narrated Loose Chane (which hasn’t been getting much press in this wave. If you remember that guy who shot that congress woman a few months ago wasa big fan of that film.)
Hannity has been hard on Bush as has Rush Limbaugh. I don’t like how agressive Hannity gets myself.
A lot of stuff Steve Quayle says isn’t correct. I love his interviews, I bought his books, his Giant research is amazing but he gets some Biblical facts wrong. Given how great a speaker and researcher on giants he is I’m amazed that he subscribes to some of the beliefs that he does. I’m still a Quayle fan.

I’ve read that one too. Telling people they will not face hardships & tribulation is unbiblical. In fact we are told in no uncertain terms that we will face such things for just being an expression of Christ.
So they were going after the “feel good” message & misleading the flock likened to a Joel Olsteen version of the Rapture.
I still believe the Lord will take His own out of here but not at a comfortable/secure moment in our era. From what we see written before us in the Bible – God rescues His children or fights though them in victory when all hope seems lost & the enemy is out of control & ready to wipe us out. That means under intense persecution & trial.
Of course we would rather be whisked away as we sit under a palm tree sipping a Pina Colada ~

I agree. It’s really none of my business when He determines the rapture will be. I know He wants us to be aware of the times and seasons and I am but He wants me to be here sharing the downpayment of heaven He has already deposited in my heart. Loving and serving people for Him. Letting them know He loves them and the sacrifice He has made for us. He is w/ me now and I am w/ Him now. I know there w/ be a much greater fullness of awareness in our glorified body and I long so much for that but I am content to wait for my Bridegroom until He is ready to receive me. I just want to be found with a full lamp and to be doing the work He has appointed for me.

Corrie Ten Boom! I haven’t seen her name ANYWHERE in years. When I was in elementary school I had a book about her. I think I even did a report on her. Now there was a great Godly woman and you NEVER hear about her today. Did the catholic church even recognize her in their saint pantheon? It’s amazing who gets on the fast track there. Or is she disqualified because she’s not catholic?

We learned about Amy Carmichael in Sunday School. I’ve never forgotten this. The story went when she was a little girl she had brown eyes and prayed God would turn them blue. When she grew up she became a missionary and I forget where. But it was a place where only dark skinned people could be. She learned to dye her skin brown with coffee and realized that her brown eyes made her blend in. If she had had blue eyes she’d have been caught and killed. So she was able to bring people to Christ in a racial disquise. Another non PC story but the moral was that God makes us to fir His plan not what we want.
I saw on the news today that the happiest religion is Jewish. They made no comment as to why though.

This parable has nothing to do with Gold or giving, but it is a metaphor for souls. Our fruit that we bear as disciples is a factor of planting seeds of the gospel into people’s hearts through witness and testimony, so those who receive the message may turn to God for salvation. This man in the parable knew of God’s glory to save people and yet hid the treasure away and had no new souls to show for it.
In other words, faith (not works) provides your salvation, HOWEVER, once you know the truth and have that faith, righteousness demands that you show it with works. This is one of the most misunderstood elements in salvation. Your work doesn’t save you, but those who are truly saved will do the will of God out of their own desire, not because it is required. If you do not work and do the will of God, then your faith is not sincere and therefore you never received salvation in the first place. Faith leads to salvation and those that have salvation will serve and bear fruit.

I just got out and it was worse than ever, I am soooo angry I could punch a baby.Of coarse I am only kidding it’s an expression. I did find out next friday that they will be having a meeting and will cut my patients hours and if they cut them enough his foster mom will put him in a nursing home. So therefore I may be out of a job and that would be the best situation. I know the Lord wants me there until this is over and it’s close. What is going on is another woman who is my age but mentally has the mind of a 5 year old lives there as another foster child. Now I work double shifts. She won’t leave me alone from the time I come in to the time I leave. She stares at me constantly, so much so I have to put up my laptop up and hide behind it, she has sexual issues, she likes to sit on the floor and grind her pelvis and then I get to watch her rub herself outside her private area. She has to stare at me and do these things and cannot control herself. She calls me a witch all day, it’s just verbal and sexual abuse from her all day long. I absolutely know where it’s coming from, it’s satanic. If I am reading or listening to anything biblical she becomes explosive and out of control. Her father is her grandfather. I know she can’t help it but I need to get out. sorry if I am blathering on and on.

He did mention that he doesn’t deliver people who have no desire to be set free or they will become worse the next time around. Also do it in pairs, not alone. Yeah, it’s the “seems” part that got me into trouble. I don’t say this lightly, but, I believe that Mike Bickle (leader of IHOP) is a false teacher and he is waaaaay into contemplative prayer (put that into their search box on their website) and he says we can learn a lot about prayer from the mystics. They are into Dominion Theology/Joel’s Army big time. I went to a church for three years who modeled themselves after IHOP (which I didn’t know at the time) and it was a nightmare. They would say the most beautiful words at times, but they are focused on being more militant than anything and I also have never seen such hateful behavior among a group of believers. Anyways, they twist Scripture in a very very discrete way and they are a destructive cult. A girl has her testimony online called The Gospel Masquerade. I have read it and have seen/experienced basically everything she went through. But I am not saying anything against this John Mulinde man’s message… I don’t know him. IHOP however, I would feel convicted if I didn’t say anything.

(yuuuum, now I want a heaping stack of panacakes… ooooo) But anyways… those are just some objections (a lot can be learned by that girls testimony)… my eyes were opened big time to deception within the church after I got out of my church that copycated IHOP. The bad church I went to.. the leader guy was Damon Thompson, who loved Lou Engle, who loved Mike Bickle… I researched all of them and saw common threads all throughout. Plus, they think we can basically change our DNA to become a god or something outlandish like that… which to me, would fit right into the deception of the end times somehow. :-/

I have quietly bound them or cast them out, but only inflames it. Every night lately when I leave this house I feel beaten up. I have begged the Lord to remove me, and He keeps telling me watch, wait, hold on. I am literally stuck between a rock and a hard place. I know He will answer me. That is so crazy, Laura… I remember Him telling me the very same thing when I was going through something difficult… “watch, wait, and see what I do.” I felt like I couldn’t handle it, but one day He delivered me…. now that I look back, I can say I’m glad He brought me through it with the encouragement to let Him work. I learned so much about Him and what I can do through Him. So, it may be very well that He is using this time to build you up stronger for something in the future. Usually when we are stuck between a rock and a hard place, and are being pressed in on all sides, something gets squeezed out of us (which sounds really gross, but I don’t mean it that way) Ack.. what I’m trying to say is it may be a winepress situation for you. (not too sure if that made any sense)
But in order for us to grow, we have to be pushed a little bit past our limits. Be strong, Laura. 
And… I don’t know… I think it says a lot that you are singled out.. is says that you are one of His. Yes, it’s creepy… but in reality, you are much more creepy to those pooey demons than you realize because of the One who is in you. You have nothing to feel embarrassed about, you are not the one who needs to feel ashamed. But they do! I would say to focus on His righteousness and take refuge in His presence as much as you can. And focus on the cross and what that has and will accomplish.

It is amazing how Satan is using the church itself to deceive. I have been reading more and more about these new era outreaches. Contemplative, Dominionism, Emerging, New Age and the connection to Eastern mysticism.
It is no wonder that it’s going to heck in a handbasket what with all the twisted doctrines.
I got slammed by a bunch of alleged “Christians” which is what began my interest in finding things out. Without going into long detail,they fit the mold.
The scary part is that there are a lot of Good Christian church members that are asleep on this front. I kinda blame it on the pastors for avoiding areas that would start clueing people in. A shame when the Bible makes it very clear that we are facing an attack from the spirit realm and many are uninformed.

Yeah, going to that kind of church was the most insane and confusing thing I ever went through. Because, they spoke the truth, after time went by, I could see double speak left and right. It was confusing me and I wasn’t making the “false” connection but something felt terribly wrong. I always thought a group of people was false by openly denying this or that about Jesus, but I later found out that is not the case. And I literally feel as though I saw wolves in sheep’s clothing because something was not right with their eyes!!! Very weird. Very destructive. So many people came to that church starting off very friendly and humble… and then I would see them turn very cruel and militant and arrogant, and it happened with a lot of people. Bondage all over agin for them, which is so not necessary since Christ set us free.
I feel bad for the one’s with good hearts that I left behind… I can only pray that the Lord would wake them up like He did with me and my family. It was literally overnight!
I agree with you too, Doug. After researching all of these kinds of “movements”… it is very crazy to see how Satan deceives the church… he takes the truth, tweaks it just a smudge, sets it on its course, and it’s enough to ruin everything. The road is narrow. :-/

To think that we can do anything to earn our salvation or our position as The Bride of Christ is false doctrine. Our salvation, our position in Christ is a gift. We don’t have to earn it. Otherwise we have returned to a doctrine of works. Our salvation is by the Blood of the Lamb and the Word of our Testimony, our agreement with what God has already said in His Word about us.

Do you think Sheen might be possessed in some way? Read close into his recent comments I will list below. This really sounds more of a demon then ramblings of someone mentally disturbed or under the influence of drugs. Matt, check out my comment above on #7. Sheen’s rants are totally demonic sounding, I agree. I also believe that there are behind the scenes powers pushing for a New World Order that is demonically inspired, demonically influenced and in some cases out and out demonic possession. It is these powers that Sheen has been vocally against in a very public way. His mannerisms even looked possessed. There is something creepy and sinister going on with this, I just can’t put my finger on it.

Demons can easily come in contact and or posses someone that dabbles into drugs. Not sure if this is the case with Sheen, but the more I hear of his ramblings, sounds more like a demon or multiple demons manifesting through him.

Films like The Love Bug, The Absent Minded Professor, Pollyanna, 20,000 Leagues, Darby O’Gill, Mary Poppins, and the list goes on and on, are just pure clean fun! I greatly enjoy these films. I can’t say the same for most of their post Walt out put. Some of it I like, a lot of it I don’t, and you did have people intentionally trying to reshape the morality of children with the Lion King on. Tom Schumacher openly said so.

A movie you might like is The Slipper & The Rose. It’s a British made film of Cinderella told from the Prince’s POV. The songs are written by the Sherman Brothers, most famous for Mary Poppins, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Charlotte’s Web, and a host of other great musicals. This one is the most highbrow one they ever did. If you can find a copy you want the one in the white case, this is the widescreen version. The full frame one cuts 45 minutes from the film and you lose 2/3s of the picture. Kimberly, you might like this one also.

Mind control. He was born in a wealthy Hollywood family. Others in his family are in the field/craft. He was probably abused as a child to set up multiple personalities. Then he is controlled in which personality comes out. When he’s to do a movie or TV show, he becomes that role, can learn the script. When he’s not needed, he’s allowed to live reckless, waste his life. His programming started to fail and he started looking into things, started to wake up, question things like 911. So they set him up to his crazy personality and he is self-destructing before our very eyes.
Look at other celebrities, Cruise, Corry Haim, Marilyn Monroe, James Dean…many, many more. Hollywood is an illusion and even the players, are an illusion themselves.

I just read through the comments on this and thought I’d throw in my “psychology” two cents. I have seen only bits and pieces of the Sheen rants, but that’s enough for me to know he is not in touch with reality. I’m not discounting the demon possession or the mind control ideas- but he certainly acts as if he has had a psychotic break.
I have crossed paths with several schizophrenics in my practice; some sounding earily similar to him. Who knows what caused it (drugs, demons, mind control, or a combination of some or all), the simple fact is he is not in his right mind- and the fact that the media gives him a second of air time and that he is discussed at water coolers around the country is truly sickening.
I still pray for him and others like him; maybe there is a crack in his “suit of insanity” in which a seed of the truth can be planted.

Yes, Keith Green was excellent. I’m only 21 so I obviously wasn’t around when he was alive, but my dad introduced his music to me back in high school and I’ve liked it ever since. The first CD I got was for Christmas that year and was like 20 of his hits long with an excellent hour long documentary put together by his wife Melody.
I’ve filled my iPod Touch up with a bunch of his songs and just hook it up to my stereo when I’m on the road. I have a CD player, but don’t really use it that much, unless I get a new CD that I have transferred.

Kirt – I ‘m in a pretty rural area. I don’t even think we have any jewish people here (the Muslims are migrating here in droves though.) I have stayed in touch with some of my Jewish friends from college but that’s about it. They have said a gentile can’t participate in Hebrew customs so that option is out with them. I just wasn’t sure if you can do the feasts alone or only with an online community? Christmas and Easter have become more and more about Biblical things and meditation with just a smidgen of holiday films (It’s a Wonderful Life and Miracle on 34th Street are two of the most uplifting films ever made! And who doesn’t enjoy the Ten Commandments?)
Jeff & Patrick – I too loathe political correctness! About 15 years ago John Stossil ran a piece on 20/20 about how a group of NOW women lobbied congress to get the word “squaw“ removed from all place names in America. They said it offended Indians because the word translated to their term for the female reproductive organ. (One congressman even tried to have one changed to “Politically Correct Creek” but was denied.) So Stossil went to this big Indian meeting where the majority of Indian tribes in America were represented and he started asking them about this stuff. They could have cared less! They even said they HATED being called Native Americans! The one said something like “We’d prefer to be called by our tribe names but since most people don’t know them American Indian is fine”. And he explained a different version of where “Indian” came from. I forget it but it wasn’t because Columbus thought he was in India. It may have had to do with the East India Trade Company, which traded globally. Again, a version of history we are untaught.
About 10 years ago Al Sharpton was lobbying to get Idaho to change their name because he said it was a racist name that mocked black women through ebonics. As Stossil often said back then, Give me a break!

These were popular for hundreds of years and were a great way for people with unique birth abnormalities to make a lot of money. Then in the 1980′s once again the PC police stuck their noses in and forced many of these shows to shut down, AGAINST THE WISHES of the performers in the shows. The performers didn’t feel exploited, they loved making A LOT of money just from how they were born and, as many pointed out, their birth defects made doing any other job impossible. But they lost their jobs anyway and now many of them collect welfare.
Now regardless on how you feel about Freak Shows I say if these people WANTED to be in it that is their business and Big Government should have stayed out. As I understand it there are only 2 Freak Shows left in America today out of hundreds. That’s it. But this is another prime example of political correctness gone amuck.

I have talked with these gay christians and people who support them. They always say the same thing “Jesus was against hate and if you are really a follower of Christ you MUST accept homosexuality.” I have seen some who struggle with it and some who accept it. In my opinion homosexuality is nothing more than a sexual fetish. They always say they can’t help it, they’re born that way. Some of them really believe this but I put out there what about the people who get turned on by odd things like feet, older women, smaller guys, even through in child molestors. (and when I do they get mad that I’m including that group with them but, really, it’s the same thing. It is a fetish, only one we ALL accept as being perverted.) It’s all sexual fetish and they all say they were born that way. I don’t buy it.
I also love the “Why would anyone CHOOSE a lifestyle that would get them persecuted and shunned by others?” Then all the Founding Fathers must have been born with their convictions and all faiths are now genetic. While it may not always be an open choice whatever causes these other sexual fetishes i what must trigger homosexuality to manifest in people.
That said, I do give the people born two genders in one a pass because that really is something they can’t help. Traditionally doctors made them all into girls because it was the easiest cosmetically. Because this was done I do believe these people are different than homosexuals. It is not the same thing and many of these people greatly suffer. But the gay stuff is not the same thing at all.
Gay people and liberals also go nuts when I say “being gay is a choice, not a birth defect” They go nuts over calling it a “birth defect” even though that is the skirt they are trying to hide behind. I always then say “Then it’s the only birth defect to be celebrated in the history of mankind. When’s the last time you say the Retard Pride Parade marching down your stret?”

Hmmm… probably should just keep my mouth shut here, lol. I have a little bit of a different opinion about the whole homosexual issue in its context with salvation. I believe that you can have gay Christians, however, they can not participate in homosexual activities to be righteous in the eyes of the Lord. In other words, the Lord can work with a desire, as long as they don’t embrace it as their lifestyle.
To put this in broader context, I am a married man with children. Unfortunately for me, I am weak in areas of lust-fullness and sometimes my imagination and eyes stray when I see an attractive woman. Some people would be like, “oh that is just being a man and is human nature.” Not so. In the eyes of the Lord, I have committed adultery in my heart. My predicament is no worse or better than a gay person who acts on their desire. Both are equally wrong in the eyes of the Lord and both must repent of their sins.
I don’t try and make it PC for people, nor do I excuse the issue because it upsets people, however, I do know that mercy and our sinful nature dictates that we all must examine our own hearts, because we all fall short of the Glory of the Lord.
It is like the man born blind. Jesus says, neither this man nor his parents sin caused this man to be blind, but it is so, so that the glory of the Lord may be revealed through his weakness and suffering. The same could be said for homosexuals. If they had the proper attitude about their desires, then they would try and seek the Lord’s grace and avoid such practices. I do the same in my daily life with a wandering eye and it is no less challenging. By the grace of God I succeed, but sometimes I sin and need to repent and come back to Him.

Point well taken. I said “Gay Christian” because that was the topic of discussion, but to be honest that is a misnomer and I would not say we should qualify such things. You are absolutely right, that to do so gives approval to the act. So I hope you didn’t misunderstand me in that regard.
To clarify, lets use Jesus’s own words as an example. John 8:11 “She said, “No one, Lord.” And Jesus said to her, “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.”
He would not of classified this woman as an “Adulterous Christian” anymore than we would say “Gay Christian.” Its not right to do so. He simply said, “go and sin no more,” which is something that sinful humans (meaning everyone) should do.
Rather than “Gay Christian” how about we simply say a Christian who is battling sinful temptations. Who amongst us can not say the same about themselves?

To clarify another point from before… I don’t accept the gay lifestyle as being in anyway congruent with following Jesus. I watched some youtube videos about a young woman who was admittedly gay, however she sought to avoid all such temptations out of obedience to the Lord. My heart went out to her with that challenge in her life. I would say that woman is a faithful Christian, because she sought to please God and not her own desires. I would say those that think they can thread the needle by participating in a gay lifestyle and still think they can please God are sorely mistaken.

It’s been that way for a while with Google Chrome and Firefox. There slowly merging everything. Although, it took me longer to know because I never logout. Eventually, it just told me to on the homepage and wouldn’t let me go anywhere else.
Do you have Internet Explorer? Most updates for YouTube and Google occur at a slower pace for it than Chrome or Firefox. That may be why it’s just now telling you.

That’s the problem with listening to the oldies station. Great older songs seem to stick in your head for the rest of the day. I have had Afternoon Delight song stuck in my head all day. Sometimes when I am feeling disconnected from the Lord I put on some music (without words, I use Ocean by John Butler Trio) and pray a simple prayer over and over again. It goes simply this, “My heart cries out for you Jesus. My soul belongs to God.” Other times I ask for Him to baptize me with His Holy Spirit and show me the narrow path. Give this a try and He will hear you. I will pray for you too.

When I am low, filling my day singing worship songs helps me greatly. Pretty soon I realize that I am happy worshiping, and the despair is gone.
It also helps me to get out of the house and go do something for someone who needs help. Or to just take a walk and seek out God’s handiwork in nature. Remember He is with you and loves you dearly.

He is playing the role perfectly then, if I was not a believer in craziness, I am now. As for me and a few others here nevertheless we have prayed for him, and he is better judged in God’s hands. I am not quite sure if destroying those around you to make a point is worth it either, what is his fruit? If I have learned any lesson from him by his show it is good to sleep with as many women as possible and have lots of money.

Had a strange dream and kept being enticed while praying…it was scary. I was awake at this point but when praying and I would start to praise the Lord everytime I would praise a holy name an evil one would try and substitute itself. I felt oppressed and opened my eyes and there was an outline as if one very large eye was staring back at me. Just the outline, I rebuked it quickly and POOOF. But i plead the blood many times, so was something introduced into my home???

Faithfulelect, I wish I had the answer, I can never tell where they are coming from and where they are going to, but when they stop in to irritate me I just pinch their heads off and flush them down the toilet. If they are bothering you I would bet you received something or are going to that has spiritual value, in my experience they never fail to show up but I get the impression that when they do they are not wasting their time just to annoy but to delay or steal something or plant some idea, they are idiots on a mission.

Also, I would like to ask for a prayer to go out to my wife who is experiencing some minor nerve problems, it seems like a pinched nerve in her neck. Her arms and face seems to be a little ‘numb’, its nothing serious, but she was getting a little worried about it. Shes trying to find a massage therapist to fix the problem.
