The Coming Conflict in the Middle East

Last week the Iranian president Mahmoud I’m-in-a-jihad went to Lebanon. It appears that the Iranians have succeeded in creating a loose confederacy with the nations of Syria, Turkey, Yemen, and the radical Islamic factions of HAMAS and Hezbollah. If we look at the map of the Middle East, it appears that Israel is now surrounded by those who seed to destroy her. The Iranians have their fingers in all the pies and I believe that it’s just a matter of time before the conflict begins.
Spring and summer have come and gone and we are now into the fall season. I honestly believed that we would see something before now, but I was wrong. Every day I am amazed that nothing has erupted “‘over there.”
Take a look a the map and you will notice the Red Sea and the Persian Gulf. As I have posted before there are two choke points here, and at the present time the Iranians have control over these. They are the Gate of Tears, at the bottom of the Red Sean and the Straights of Hormuz in the Persian Gulf. A lot of the world’s oil flows through these two points. When the war starts, if it’s regional, we will most likely see these two areas attacked and shut down.
The game plan is to destroy Israel, to wipe it off the map, to push it into the sea. The drums of war are beating, but as of yet it would appear that cooler heads have prevailed.
Israel has issued gas masks to all its citizens. It has recently completed military exercises. They know it’s coming. If it is a two prong attack, which would be an all out assault on Israel while Radical Muslim extremists detonated dirty bombs imbedded in US cities, it would be devastating to our fragile economy. What if Hormuz and the Gate of Tears is shut down, would it result in ten dollar a gallon at the pump?
Americans need to understand that what drives the Mullah’s in Iran is a belief in the coming of the Mahdi. They believe that in order for him to manifest there must be chaos in the world. With that in mind, is it to far of a stretch to see the Iranians creating the chaos?
I believe the climate is much like it was shortly before WWII erupted. No one believed that Hitler would act, but he did and millions died in that conflict. It’s always business as usual and then when we least expect it, there is a flash point and all hell breaks loose. We are living in tenuous times. Now is the time to prepare for what is coming, not after it begins.
In closing today’s post. When we see wars and rumors of wars, earthquakes in diverse places and famines, pestilence and troublesome times we are to look up! Get ready because it means one thing. The Return of the King. All of this will play out just as it was written, but the end game, the closer, the final curtain, is that He returns and when that happens men will beat their swords into plowshares….
