I want to thank everyone for coming out to the Politics, Prophecy & the Supernatural conference yesterday! It was great to meet some of you for the first time! Thank you to those of you who helped with our advertising! We’re going to more of these in the future! Thanks! L.A.
Sunday Go To Meeting Bun! John 1: 1-3
In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him and without Him nothing was made that was made.
In the beginning, before the universe, or the Big Bang, or anything else, there was the WORD, Jesus/Yashua. I remember as a kid laying in my bed and wondering, if there was no God and there was nothing, what would nothing look like? One night I thought about it so much I broke out in a sweat… no kidding. I was 11 at the time!
Scientists tell us that there was a Big Bang somewhere back in time and that the universe was somehow created over billions of years. Planets, stars, galaxies all came into existence by chance as cosmic dust and particles swirled around each other and solar systems were formed.
The Guidebook to the Supernatural, i.e. the Bible has a different story to tell. It says, that all things were made through Hum and without Him nothing was made that was made!
Have you ever wondered how Yashua/Jesus was able to do all the amazing – what we would call miracles – acts while He was here? Like healing the sick, creating food and feeding thousands of people, casting out demons, rebuking a storm, walking on water. I believe that He was/is able to manipulate energy at the atomic level. He is able to do this because He created it in the first place.
All things, everything, the space between the atoms, throughout all the universe was made, created, ex nihilo, from nothing, by Him! It’s almost impossible to get our heads around that, but its true. He made it all and so He knows how to fix things when they are broken. One day in the not-to-distant-future, when He returns and His feet touch the mount of Olives, and that baby splits in two, all creation will be restored, everything will be made new. We know that all creation groans as everything, awaits redemption. We are told that one day He will roll up the universe, like a scroll and create a new one!
Fantasy, you say? No, it’s reality. Yahsua/Jesus, who made himself in the likeness of man and dwelt among us, also created the universe and holds everything in place. He has given us the gift of life, which in itself is amazing as we are autonomous beings. We don’t have to acknowledge Him. We can stay separated and do what we want to do. We certainly don’t have to worship Him. However, when we come to the end of ourselves and we realize that love that was poured out on Calvary, as He shed His blood for us, we can be born again and out spirits connected with the creator of the Universe. It is a good thing for the creation to remember Him, who created us in the first place. Worship is a choice not a requirement. That being said… this is the day the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it!
