The Fourth Kind: Hype from Hollywood?

Posted by lamarzulli on August 26, 2009

screaming-mouthYesterday, I BLOGGED about the new movie that is coming out in November. It’s called The Fourth Kind and supposedly is based on real events that happened in Nome Alaska. I googled the main character, Abigail Tyler, who the movie is supposedly based on and this is what I found.  http://alaskapsychiatryjournal.org/entries/Dr-Abigail-Tyler-Bio.html

I explored the site and found nothing about alien abductions. Is this page a hype or is it the real thing? I’m going to attempt to contact the good doctor today and see if I can get an interview.

In my book, The Alien Interviews, I talked at length with people who have been involved in the abduction phenomena for decades. I believe that it is real and that it is throwback to Genesis 6 and the manifestation of the fallen angels. From what I have been able to gather it is a horrific experience and people are traumatized for life.

While attending this years Roswell conference I met a former abductee who had stopped her abductions with the help of Joe Jordan. (Joe came on the record in The Alien Interview book) She made it very clear that the entities that took her were demonic. I can’t say it any clearer than that. What we are dealing with is wickedness in high places. Without the covering of the Blood of Jesus, we are defenseless against them. This is a dynamic that most people in the UFO community choose to ignore because they equate it with religion. I’m not talking about religion here. I’m talking about how to interact with the supernatural. How to defend oneself against powers and principalities. In short, spiritual warfare 101. We have the accounts of when Jesus walked the earth. How he had power over the demon possessed. He also gave that power to his disciples. Those of us who are born again can have that power too, just by asking for it. Unfortunately most people in the churches never tap into it because they aren’t taught to do so. This is, ” having a form of religion but denying its power.” A phrase that we are told will be one of the hallmarks of the end of the age. Is this movie more hype or is it a real expose of what is going on in the case of alien abductions? Is Hollywood toying with us?

This is from Deb Shutt and was posted in the comment section. I think she nails it!:

Is it possible, Hollywood maybe using a couple of new tools to condition the masses. Aren’t we accustomed to thinking when grainy type footage is interspersed into a movie that it is ‘real’. Aren’t documentaries normally factual. Are the line between fact and fiction being blurred by design. The movie the “The Fourth Kind”, showing so called ‘actual footage’of Alien Abductions. Similarly, the recent movie “District 9″ looks like a documentary. For those that aren’t able to discern, this could be dangerous. The stand out issue to me is the fact that these Alien Movies keep coming and are growing with intensity I might add. It’s a far cry from the warm and fuzzy movie “ET” to “The Fourth Kind”.

  1. Hi Lynn,

Spiritually speaking I believe we are on the brink of stepping into the supernatural as never before. Believers are going to have to step up and don the full armor of God and rise up in the authority that has been imputed to us in Jesus’ Name, or continue relegating Holy Ghost power to some by-gone era.

If we do, I believe that there will be many swept up into deception in these last of the Last Days.

Thanks again for sounding the alarm.

Hi LA: I enjoy your daily blog, and read it frequently. As for your statement that you did not see anything of alien influence in Dr. Tyler’s bio, did you open and review the case study link? Very clearly Dr. Tyler speaks of abduction cases.

I think this website is a ‘dummy’ site for the movie.

I cannot find anything more on this. I became aware of this site a few days ago also and cannot move forward on it.

I will say though that online there are many cases of “green men” spotted in Nome in the 90’s (not necessarily more than other sightings of strange phenomena in other regions) and there was also a case of ‘disappearances’ in Nome in around 2004-2005…but this happened to native Americans on reservations up there and they felt that it was a serial killer. Also, 2004- 2005, the timeline is wrong.

The other thing is, Dr. Abigail Tyler was and is not part of the Chapman University faculty- the movie producer admitted he added Chapman University because he was once a student then. Kind of shoots holes in the other “facts.”

I’m digging too. If I can find out more on our mysterious Dr. Tyler, I will let you know.

    • ForTheRecord said

Ah yes, in looking further into it, it does appear to be a farce created solely for the movie. Thanks for the update!

I don’t know if Dr. Abigail Tyler is a popular “alien abduction” researcher but she is a psychologist who seems to have studied regression therapy and just so happened to have helped the people in Nome, Alaska.

How can it be a dummy site when there are real research articles published in legitimate magazines and journals.. Her article was also listed on other archives that costs money to purchase the full length article. And the other researchers also have legitimate articles published.

I like how everyone resorts to “googling” things about her instead of going to the library to look up books perhaps? or other resources?

Just a thought. GL digging. I’m looking into the libraries :)

  3. The informations in this movie are probably interesting to better understand abductions
but I have talked with a specialist researcher in UFO-Paranormal and he told me that
Dr. Abigail Tyler doesn’t exist and this film is the “Abduction” version of “The Blair
    Witch Project”

Of course, to attract people to see the movie, the marketing has to be like
“The Blair Witch Project” and must seem to be real and convincing.

I repeat, even if the movie doesn’t use real video tape sessions from Nome, Alaska,
the writers have certainly done a research on abductions and they have included the
Zecharia Sitchin theories in the movie.

The point is: YES, the media is preparing us for a disclosure but it will be a deception
like this movie will turn out to be, exactly like .The Blair Witch Project”.

Another UFO movie is in the work: “S4: The Incredible True Story of Bob Lazar”
A spokesman for the project says, “2009 marks the 20th anniversary of Lazar’s amazing account of back engineering one of nine alien flying saucers recovered by the U.S. military.

Man’s intellectual progression “His advancement in worldly Wisdom (the Fruit) gained from the tree of the knowledge of good & Evil” brings him into this modern technological realm of the cinema (the devils playground), a further form of [satanic deception] by means of Entertaining his Soul with all forms of wonders (thrillers, drama, magic ect)

Once he could only hear the deceptive voice of the serpent, now he can see much more than Eve ever could. His imagination is in overload, he can’t even distinguish Good & Evil anymore. He calls Good Evil 7 Evil Good, all the whilst professing himself to be Wise.

    lynn,

even though hollywood is advancing beyond the “cute and cuddly” et representations of the past…
as you have mentioned the main gist of the film is utter hopelessness in the face of these entities…

and the LAST thing you would EVER see is an ACCURATE portrayal of the fact that:

YES! EVEN THE REPTILIANS MUST BOW TO THE NAME OF JESUS!

what other name is effective against UFOs and their occupants???
    will they bow to buddha?
will they obey the name of krishna?
    are they subject to muhammed?
    will they listen to moses?

    NO!
because theres something about THAT NAME!
    LILY of the VALLEY!
    FAIREST of TEN THOUSAND!
BRIGHT and MORNING STAR! (rev. 22:16)
    JESUS!

satan is mad and im SO GLAD! :D

    • Meel said

Very well articulated brethren. YES! Satan and his demons MUST bow down to the name of JESUS (YEHOSHUA). No other name, no other price or sacrifice has been given for the forgiveness of sins and God is perfect. The fact everyone is always trying to deny Christ and blast him especially celebrities shows the devil does not want people to know the truth.

District 9, The 4th kind are all lies and propaganda, which I believe will be used to explain the rapture. That is why they are pushing these movies so hard. What better way to explain the disappearance of the saints and the coming of the Antichrist. We are in the last of the last days. Continue to put on the full armor of God brethren, God bless.

Highly interested in this film but on second look at the preview now seems almost too obvious this is another blair witch thing …pretending its based on fact etc.

Going on the site for this film they give links to a number of completely un-reputable sites that supposedly support this films claims as “evidence”. Still could be good, though.

Alaska is the perfect place to chose for this as its remote and large enough that most people will just be gullible enough to believe it.

How can you not equate what youre saying with religion? You are imposing specific concepts to spirituality, which in its own right, spirituality is more basic than the beliefs youre attributing it to. Heaven, hell, jesus, and satan have all stemmed from YOUR concept of spirituality. Although, this is YOUR most basic belief, or concept of spirituality, its not everyone elses. It imposes your ideas on others when referring to spirituality (Which is a contradiction, ultimately). If we were to use a crappy analogy we could say that spirituality is water, and any other belief is another beverage. We all need/want/drink water, but your concepts and beliefs are a certain mixture and cannot be referred to or be put in the same basic category as spirituality/water alone. In this analogy we can say “your belief is ‘coffee'” but you needed water for that coffee. [and please, dont take the physical analogy too far, the emphasis of this comment is on the trust structure and basis of thought.]

It’s a feeling that sends chills down your spine when someone doesn’t understand the most basic principles of what makes ‘this’ or ‘that’ but can have such strong convictions about, or condescend and make such claims. Im not saying youre wrong, im just saying you dont seem to understand where limitations lie, and where freedoms lie. How can you put limits on the catalyst, when the catalyst gave you the freedom to create those limitations?

The good doctor shown in the film does not exist. Also Nome does not have the trees or mountains depicted in the film.

the movie also states that all names and aliases would be hidden for the sake of hiding there identity

Interesting blog here. I have done some research and this Abigail Tyler doesn’t exist! From IMDB “Alaska state licensing examiner Jan Mays says she can’t find records of an Abigail Tyler ever being licensed in any profession in Alaska. Ron Adler, CEO and director of the Alaska Psychiatric Institute and Denise Dillard, president of the Alaska Psychological Association say they’ve never heard of Abigail Tyler.”

So I think you’re right on about this being nothing more than Hollywood propaganda. One thing I also completely agree with you about is your assumption that this phenomenon falls within the realm of the supernatural. These beings are not what they appear to be. I don’t know if I’d call them demonic, but that is likely a closer description than “aliens”. They are multidimensional beings whereas demons exist primarily within the astral realms. These beings have much more intelligence than a typical demon, and because of this fact I feel they pose a greater threat.

    • ktothedg said

all of this sounds true and like ur saying maybe she doesnt exist but what if it was just an alias although they used alias’s for other charactors in the movie… cuz what u hav to think about is that the ppl in hollywood arent stupid they know that ppl are going to go out and research this movie research everything about it.. so i dnt know what to believe because they openly said that the footage in the movie was real or based on true events… the whole alien abduction thing is weird tho i do not what so ever believe in that and whether these ppl do or do not exist and believe this stuff is up to them but while watching the movie and seeing the therapy sessions. i began to think about the movie the excorsism and began to think that it just might have been demonic abductons possibly rooted back to this abigale tyler who put hypnosis on the patients and began corrupting their minds or something i dunno.. just a thought a little crazy but a thought..

  13. ShredderSteve said

Oh one more thought, Jesus has NOTHING to do with this. Religion is a poison that is holding humanity back from true spiritual advancement. All of you “born again” Christians out there are funny. I’ve spent years studying the Zohar, and every time I ask a born again if they’re fluent in Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek they look at me funny. Please don’t talk about the Bible if you can’t read it!

    • Meel said

The Zohar? Are you serious? One of the most important parts of the satanic Kabbalah? The same Kabbalah which Freemasonry is based off of and the majority of Illuminati are memebers of? Don’t you know these groups worship and serve Satan and are the people Ephesians 6:12 refer to which rule the world. “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”-Eph 6:12.

Yehoshua (Jesus) is the only way. It has nothing to do with religion. God wants spiritual fruit not religious nuts and if you know the story of Yehoshua then you know it was the Pharisees (religious leaders) who conspired against and hated Christ. So how could Yehoshua have taught religion? All the sects of Christianity, none are mentioned in the Bible therefore Satan has infiltrated the faith and man have taken it upon themselves to lean on their own understanding with dogmas, canon law, catechism bka doctrines of devils.

Christ is the Way, the Life and the Truth. All will soon see. God bless.

Okay…when I posted links to the website that had Dr. Tyler’s case studies on this comment, a webpage would come up saying discarded.

When I attempted to go to the case studies, I got a 404 error; page not found.

When I went to the domain, it said webpage unavailable.

If you want to check the validity of a web site all you have to do is search for the records and domain ownership. I searched internet archives, found no pages. There would have been some cached.

Thought that you would be interested to know that the secret is out… the actress who played the real dr abigail tyler is a British actress called Charlotte Milchard. Google her – the articles, forums and postings are going crazy about her! How brilliant was she playing this role?!?! And she’s really beautiful in real life too, what a transformation she made for the part, reminds me of what Charlize Theron did for her role in Monster – she got an Oscar for that and so should have Charlotte Milchard for The Fourth Kind!!!! She deserves worldwide recognition! Spread the word about her and get her that recognition! Hope to see her in many more films in the future.

I just saw the movie, this film, theres something to it, hollywood has truly stepped up its “magic”. call me weak, but the so called “real” footage did something to me. it took all the power and love in defence to watch them, hair standing up doesnt describe it, i felt Gods protection on a level i have never felt. I think those scenes where gates of some sort to implant fear of evil. I had to go into bruce lee mode and breath with all the universe, i felt a very real evil and danger in the room with me. what are these producers up too?

  18. 3rd0ptik said

at closer inspection, the fear is produced by the audio, same as in all horror movies. they even let you know its bs cause the video says it all, yet twice the sherriff is told video did not record. and now that the doctor in the real footage is an actor, the whole story is blown. also in her session where she levitated, everything supposed to be sumerian had a partial translation except the words ZIN.A.BU E.TER . why not? I tried to find a translation but cant find one, could these words be fake? anyone find a translation post it up, it would be interesting to see. in the end, another fear pushing movie, i guess weve evolved where the average horror movies just dont scare us. they use the term true story to achieve this. I think hollywood should be held accountable when depicting things as true.
